Broken
Summary: Jade has done it. She's done it. She managed to break Tori to the point where Tori wants absolutely nothing to do with her. Jade has never once suspected that she would be crawling back to Tori.

Tori ignores the calls of her friends, tears stinging her eyes as she slams her locker shut after grabbing her bag. "Tori, I really thing you should-," Andre begins after grabbing her wrist.
"Think I should what?!" she demands in return, anger and hurt in her voice. "She can't take back what she said. She can't just tell me to slice my wrists open and go die in a ditch and expect me to be okay with that! You know how much shit she's done to me! She just told me to kill myself!"
"We'll go talk to her. I'm sure she didn't mean it," Cat whispers, her eyes sad upon seeing her good friend so distressed. "She'll apologize."
"Yeah, 'cause that makes it everything better, doesn't it? Apologizing doesn't bring people back from the dead. It doesn't help a grieving family. Let her apologize all she wants but it'll fall upon deaf ears."
"What do you mean?" Beck creases his eyebrows out of confusion.
"It means I'm done with her. I'm. Done. I should have done this years ago! I thought that- I had hope that she isn't such a heartless bitch but I'm just naïve, aren't I? She can go fuck herself with her own scissors!" she yells before she catches Jade approaching from the corner of her eye.
"Did you say something?" the goth inquires, looking unfazed.
"My words are wasted on you," Tori spits in return before turning on her heel and leaving. The remaining four look at Jade, disapproving gleams in their eyes.
"What crawled up your asses and died?" Jade asks, taking a sip of her coffee.
"Gee, I don't know. Maybe because you told Tori to kill herself," Robbie speaks up for the first time against Jade. "She's help you way more than you've done her. She's stuck with you through thick and thin and you tell her to kill herself?"
"Tell who to kill themselves?" Trina butts in as she approaches, confused.
"Jade told Tori to kill herself," Beck fills in without any hesitation.
"O-oh…" Trina pauses, a blank look on her face before something seems to snap in her. Her eyes darken before she throws her drink at Jade, jumping on top of her. "How fucking dare you?! She's my little sister, you bitch!" Her cries get mixed up with Jade's, becoming indecipherable as she tries to hurt her in anyway she can. Beck and Andre step in after a couple of minutes for the older Vega was the one doing the most damage. Beck holds Jade back, Andre holding Trina. "Fuck you!" Trina spits at the goth. "Go fucking rot in Hell! If I see you anywhere near Tori, I'll shove a scissor up your ass and down your throat!" She grabs her bag, not bothering to fix her hair before leaving, calling out to her younger sister.
The hallway is silent, Beck letting go of Jade after knowing that she can't get to Tori or Trina. Jade wipes the drink off her jacket, cursing to herself. She looks up when the small group leaves. "Where the fuck are you going?"
"Away from you," Robbie replies, "go to Hell, Jade."
The three others simply don't say anything, leaving Jade drenched. The goth stands there in silence, confused on why they took it so harshly. She had literally physically hurt Tori before, so why are they so uptight now? It didn't make sense.
"Tori!" Trina runs over, tackling her sister into a hug. "Are you okay?"
The only response she gets is a sob and a shake of her head. "She told me… I-I don't understand why."
"Tell me what happened."
She whimpers, shaking her head again. She buries her face into her neck, waiting a few minutes to calm down enough before she finally begins to speak. "We were in Sikowitz's… The lesson was normal. Everything was normal until Sikowitz announced another play. Two lovers… A runaway with her soon to be husband. Jade and I got husband and wife again and I thought after the first time that it wouldn't be as bad. It was worse. She seemed even angrier for some reason and I didn't understand. I asked about it… She said it was awful the first time and that she just wanted to get it over with, that she feared, that, well, Sikowitz wouldn't give her the role… I honestly thought that we, that we had gotten closer but we didn't, according to her…" Tori trails off and she holds back another sob.
"I'm a fucking idiot, I really, honestly am…" She becomes quiet. "… I wish I knew better," she mumbles after a few moments of silence. Trina sighs before pulling her little sister close to her, just wishing that she could do something to make her feel even the slightest bit better. "I don't remember what was said next but then she just told me to kill myself, that I was pathetic. Part of me didn't believe about what she said in regards to the other play. I think she's just pissed off, especially since there's a kissing scene. But I never thought that she would stoop that low. I left before anyone could say anything else. I suppose you know the rest."
"We can tell Dad about her," Trina suggests, "he'll do something. I don't know what but… she just can't get away with that!"
"Forget it, Trina. I just wanna go home."
"Do you want to be alone?"
"Yes, I'd prefer that."
The drive home is silence as Tori thinks to herself. All of it is off to her. None of it makes sense, not a damned part, not a single thing. They've been through so much. Tori has done so much for her, certainly she could be grateful at least, or has she forgotten? No. She couldn't possibly. She's done more than anyone else would in hopes of becoming her friend but what a futile act that is… Because she's done nothing but use her for her own benefit. Tori has risked a lot for her. She's gotten her her play for her father, tolerated physical violence and helped her with Beck more than once so this… this took the cake, but it shouldn't have. She should have stopped months ago and she was foolish for clinging onto hope for something that has never been there. She feels like an idiot and she has no one to blame but herself, as she sees it.
When the two get home, both sisters head to their respective room. Tori decides it best to shower to settle her nerves. She puts the water hotter than she could normally tolerate but it strangely feels… good. The stinging seems to distract her and when she looks down, she's rather surprised by how bright her skin has turned. She stares at it, almost fascinated that it could turn so red. She wants to stay in longer but is brought out of her stupor by her sister yelling her name and knocking on the bathroom door.
"Tori, are you alright? You've been in there for about an hour." An hour? There's no way it's been an hour. It feels as though she just got in. "Are you okay? Do you need help?"
The younger Vega doesn't understand what's happening, why Trina is being… like a sister. An older sister who cares deeply for her baby sister.
"I'm fine!" she calls in return, putting her hands in front of her face to see that, yes, they're wrinkled enough to tell her that she's been there for far longer than she should have. She debates whether or not she should get out but makes her mind up when she hears her phone ring. She quickly turns off the water and grabs a towel, heading to her phone to see Beck calling. "Hello?"
"Hey, you okay? You haven't responded to your texts from anyone."
"Yeah, I'm good. I was in the shower. And thanks for reminding me. I need to block Jade's number. Not that she responds away but… I don't want anything to do with her."
"Really?" Beck sounds rather surprised. "Not a single thing?"
"No… I'm… I'm done with her, Beck. I'm fucking done. I can't appease her and no matter what happens, no matter what I do, she looks past it and always becomes a bitch. You've seen this first hand."
"I have… I'm sorry. I never thought that she would stoop so low. I thought, well… She's struggled with depression for the longest time, suicidal intents as well. It's a new low for her, truly." Beck momentarily goes quiet before sighing. "Do you want me to talk to her?"
"No…" Tori sighs, shaking her head. "No point. What's done is done. I refuse to give her another chance. Given her too many anyway… I'm gonna head to bed, Beck. I'll text later when I wake up."
"Take care of yourself, please. Don't let her get under your skin," Beck pleas, worry thick in his voice.
"I'll try," is the weak response before she hangs up, shutting her phone off, ignoring the unread texts as she collapses in bed, drained from the confliction. Yet she can't sleep, the thoughts racing through her, mocking her, laughing at her, taunting, scorning, ridiculing. Whatever synonym she can think of.
You thought that she actually cared? She's been using you this whole time and you've done nothing to stop her. You allowed it to happen. For what? You've seen how she treats her "friends". How she's treated Beck. What makes you think that she'd be different? How naïve are you? Why would you ever want to be friends with an abuser?
"Leave me alone," she mutters to herself.
You know it's the truth. Don't try to run from it. There's no reason to, else you make more of a fool of yourself. I've always been here and your heart has always shut me out and now that it's been broken, it's silent. What a surprise. But I'm here only for your benefit. You fight against those who want to help you? Did her pouring coffee in your hate not deter you? Give out any red flags? Or when she tried to kill you with those flowers because you got the lead role that one time? Demanded you give blood to Robbie because she went through your medical records? She's done nothing but try to hurt you… Perhaps even murder you. But sure. Just act like this is the first instance.
The voice fades as Tori shoves it back, knowing well that it spoke the truth, that she should have listened to it, that she should have been better. But where's the fun in that? What's life without some abuse?
Tori shifts onto her side, pulling the covers over her head as well as the pillow, wanting nothing more than to drown out the voices. It's too late to hide. All actions have consequences, my dear… Little Sally Peaches with a heart of gold… Tsk, what a shame… What a shame, what a shame, what a shame, the voice scolds her.
The singer curses to herself before getting out of bed and opening the medicine cabinet over the sink. She grabs an unopened package of Zzz-quill before taking two out- the recommended dosage. She remembers the bitter past with the purple sleep-aid. When she was younger, she had gotten addicted to the drowsiness and ended up taking more and more. Her parents eventually caught on and refused to buy her anymore. She had forgotten that this ones till existed. But now, she was more than grateful.
She decides to only take the two for on an empty stomach, it works within thirty minutes. The younger Vega goes through the drawers of her desk, attempting to find something to occupy herself. She eventually comes across an adult colouring book and some thin markers to go along with it. She had never touched it because she never had the time to. She doesn't even remember when she got it or who gave it to her. But sure, what the Hell?
Tori doesn't think too much as she colours, feeling herself sink against the pillows, unsure of when she finally did fall asleep.
"I said no."
"You think I give a shit, Vega?" Jade laughs. It's bitter, cold, even for the goth. Tori backs away, only for a wall to meet her, preventing her from going anywhere else. She walks closer, trapping the half-Latina. If it were any other situation, she would have flushed, perhaps question her initiative. But seeing the scissors in her hand and the look of raw hatred in her green eyes, she knew that her intent is clear.
Tori gasps at the sudden grip on her throat and she grabs her wrist, a pleading look in her expression. "Please," she rasps out, terrified. "Please. I don't want to die. Not today."
"You think I'm going to kill you?" Jade laughs again, in disbelief although Tori hears a taunting, malicious undertone. "Do you think I'd kill you in a closet? Besides, this scissor is too dull for that. But I do have a few questions, if you'd be willing to answer them. Not that you have a choice anyway; you're under my mercy after all."
Tori glares at her, a sudden wave of bravery rushing through her, Whether it was hope to get out of the situation or just a lack of common sense, she doesn't know. Her eyes bore into Jade's green ones as her throat constricts, threating to consume her, anger flowing in now. "Why?" she whispers, hating the events, hating it all. She has never been afraid of Jade, not once, not ever. She should be. Certainly she should be mortified, troubled, trying to avoid Jade like the plague but no. Her stupid head… No… Not her head. Her heart. Her heart. But why? Why does it bleed over the thought of losing Jade? Why does she even think of the… possibility of loving her? Love her? Her? Out of anyone she could be with?
Yet as she stares at her, a scissor to her neck, a girl who seemingly doesn't have enough morality to think twice about ramming it into her throat, Tori feels… Sated. As though it makes sense. "Kill me," she whispers, taking Jade and herself by surprise.
"W-what?" She falls back, shocked. "You should be begging me not to! Like you just were!"
"I don't… I don't care. Kill me."
"Tori, that doesn't make sense. Why?!"
Before she could even respond, the scene changes and Tori is on a bed, an unfamiliar room around her before she spots Jade on top of her… Nude. Her face burns at the image and her heart picks up more than before. She's never had any lewd dreams, fantasies, not about anyone, especially not about any of her friends, not even her lovers. "Jade? What are you… What are you doing?"
"Don't worry," she whispers in a sickly sweet voice and her stomach drops. She goes to grab some covers for modesty only for the goth to stop her, grasping her wrists and shoving her arms above her head. "You're not going anywhere, Vega. Not when I have you…. Right. Where. I. Want. You." Her voice seems to drip with both venom and lust, her green eyes deeper than normal. A hand trail from her neck down her body, stopping at her navel, the other hand still holding her wrists firmly. She circles her navel with her thumb, never once breaking eye contact. "Do you want this?" Her tone suddenly softens.
Tori nods, not even truly taking everything in before she's met with a kiss from the paler of the two. A cry escapes, only for it to be swallowed and followed by a moan as the hand starts to tease her lower stomach.
Jade lets go of her wrists, trailing gentle kisses down her body, an occasional bite snuck in between them, Tori feeling as though she's on fire. The half-Latina buries her hands in Jade's hair and her head in the pillows, only hearing the heavy breathing, only feeling her lips and hand. "Jade, are you-?" she starts before Jade's hand reaches the destination, immediately heading to the sensitive bud, preventing any other questions and all her body allows is for her to just relent and enjoy.
"Jade…" she whimpers as she tries to pull her thoughts together. "Jade, please… Wait…" She gasps as Jade wraps her arm around her lower waist, pulling her body flush against her.
"You love me," Jade whispers, her other hand working. Tori's hips lurch as she cries out, her lower stomach tensing. "You do…" She moves in, planting kisses on her jawline, moving faster still. The singer wraps her arms around her shoulders, on the verge already. "You love me… Be with me. Become one with me… Right here, right now." She bites down on her earlobe and Vega cries out in ecstasy, the high like nothing she ever experienced before, yet Jade doesn't stop.
"Stop… Let me… Let me catch my breath," she begs, sinking against the mattress when she does eventually relent, exhaustion washing over her. Jade gives a satisfied smile before gathering Tori in her arms, holding her close.
Tori jolts up from her sleep, sweat lining her body, her eyes wide as she stares into the darkness, not even knowing what just happened. She kicks the covers off, stripping and getting in the shower once again, wanting to feel the cold water as opposed to the hot water from earlier.
She doesn't understand what just happened, why her mind would ever create a scenario such as that. She has only ever wanted Jade as a friend. Besides, she's not even bisexual, nevertheless gay.
She's dated men before. She even had a thing for Beck for a while and she had never questioned her sexuality. There are plenty of girls at school who she thought were pretty, sweet, but never has she thought of asking them out. She's had a few even ask her on a date to where she declined. But now… After what Jade did and immediately after to have such an explicit dream makes no sense to her.
"No… No, no, no, no, no. My brain is fucking with me. I don't like her. Not in that way. Never in that way. Shit. Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. No one can find out about this. Whyyyyy is this happening?!"
Tori jumps at a sudden knock on the door, causing her to slip after, losing her footing, She slams into the shower shelf, causing several bottles to fall and startle her even more. "Tori! Are you okay?!" her mother's voice rings in. "Tori?"
"Shit, no! I'm fine! You just startled me!"
"I'm sorry, honey but I heard you get up. I would have asked how you were earlier but you were asleep. Your friends stopped by and left some food to cheer you up. I hid it before Trina found out so you actually have some left for yourself. But it's late. What are you doing up?"
"I- uh- I… Had a nightmare," she responds, sitting down and allowing the water to hit her fully. "I needed to cool off."
"Do you want your father to talk to Jade? What she said isn't okay and, well, if you did do anything, that's a criminal charge."
"No!" she immediately yells before lowering her voice. "No. Please. Leave it alone."
"Will you be okay, Tori?"
Tori is silent for a few moments as she thinks about it all. None of it connects. Nothing seems to make sense anymore. All she could do at the moment is watch it all unravel. Maybe she should let it be and watch from afar. But she will never give Jade the light of day again. She'll stand up for herself. She'll know her worth. "Yeah… I'll be fine. Thanks mom."
"Just know that a lot of people love you… And quite frankly, don't like a bitch like Jade get you done. Good night, Tori. Sleep well… I love you."
