Old Fiends
Okay. Good response in terms of follows even if the reviews are are lacking so lets keep it going. Let's kick it up!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOO, having completed the battle with the Yummy took the the Medals from the buckle and reverted back to the form of Adrian.
"Phew. Those new powers are gonna take some getting used to." Adrian thought before the adrenaline. "Oh no! The detective." He said before he turned to run only to see that the detective's hair was now blonde and Ankh was on his right arm. "Oh no. He's dead isn't he?" He asked before Ankh shook the detective's head.
"No. But from what I can see, without me here, he won't last that long." Ankh said before he stood up and began to walk to the pile of Medals that stood where the Yummy once did before suddenly, a small legion of red and silver mechanical Hawks flew above the two before grabbing the majority of the Medals before flying away from the confused Adrian and angered Ankh.
"Hey! Get back here!" Ankh shouted at the robots before turning to Adrian and grabbing him by the shirt. "What were those things?" He asked through gritted teeth.
"I don't have a clue. I've got less information on this situation than you do." Adrian said before he pushed Ankh away and examined the area. "We'd better clear out of here for right now. You can fill me in on what the deal is with all of this." He said before Ankh took a second to think before he reached out his hand and the rest of Medals flew in to it.
(Meanwhile)
The two thieves from the museum were both sitting under a bridge to hide from the police after having escaped the hospital.
"Okay. What are we going to do now? The cops will be on us even harder after that escape." The second thief said before the first pulled out a a piece of paper.
"We're just gonna have to hit this high rise bank to get all of the money we need." The first said, practically salivating at the thought of such a large payday when suddenly, a wave of medals rose up from behind him before forming in to the insect Greeed. The two then turned around to see him and stumble back in fear as he approached and made a slot appear in the first thief's head before he place a Medal in it to create a new Yummy.
(Back with Adrian and Ankh)
Our heroes were walking down the street before Ankh took notice of a small stand and pulled out some ice cream sticks to the annoyance of the vendor.
'Great. Another glutinous magic creature.' Adrian thought before ha and Ankh went to sit down. "Okay. Let's start with what exactly you are." He suggested.
"It all began eight hundred years ago with a King. He was raised to believe that no human could stand above his power. He held that belief for his entire life until he witnessed a group of people who gained mystical powers from gems with forms of animal." Ankh began to explain, Adrian instantly recognizing the description.
"The Miraculous." Adrian stated, Ankh looking up at him.
"You've heard of them?" Ankh asked.
"I've had a few run ins." Adrian said as he leaned back and signaled for Ankh to continue on with the story.
"After seeing the powers of the Miraculous, the King became obsessed with claiming power like that. So he commanded the greatest alchemists in his kingdom to make items for him to that sort of power. To that end, they created the OOO Driver and the Core Medals." Ankh said as he held up the first three Medals Adrian used to transform. "But something happened that no one counted on. The Core Medals were made from desire itself. So once the sets were made incomplete, it created a void that needed to be filled. At that point, we Greeed were born from that void." He said.
"What about the Yummys?" Adrian asked before Ankh pulled the silver Medals out.
"That comes down the Cell Medals. The cell Medals make up our bodies. We make Yummys from human desire to create more of the Cell Medals to strengthen our bodies." He explained before his eyes glowed red. "Speaking of which." He said before looking to the direction of a skyscraper. "Come on." He said before signaling for Adrian to follow before the two of them began to run.
(Meanwhile)
Inside the building that Adrian and Ankh were running towards, a group of worker were enjoying a party and cake that had been provided for them by the Kougami Foundation. Just then, the group was startled at the entrance of the Yummy as it began to rampage through the room on the path to the vault.
(With Adrian and Ankh)
Both blondes arrived at the base of the building, the Greeed sensing something.
"It feels like the Yummy's close to fully forming. We should get a nice profit." Ankh said with a smirk on the detective's face.
"So, it's going to make more Cell Medals the longer it's active. So, it would actually be better for us to focus on getting people out first." Adrain said, his logic appealing with Ankh's opportunism.
"Makes sense. Here." Ankh said before tossing up three Core Medals.
"Henshin!" Adrian called out as his armor began to form.
"Taka! Tora! Batta! Ta To Ba! Tatoba Ta To Ba!" The OOO Driver called out before OOO and Ankh ran in to the building.
The two of them made their way up the first few levels of the building only for them to be stopped by an electrical fire that had started in all of the carnage.
"Good thing I grabbed this one when the seal was broken." Ankh said before tossing the blue Core to Adrian before he replaced the Taka Medal with it.
"Shachi! Tora! Batta!" The OOO Driver called before OOO's helmet shifted to a blue Orca themed one with yellow eyes. He then fired water from the helmet at the base of the fire before the civilians that were on the other side began to evacuate.
'I love these new powers.' OOO thought as he and Ankh continued on to get to the higher levels. Soon enough they arrived at the level where they saw the the incredibly large Yummy that seemed to be based off of a Weevil. "Oh, great. A big one." He said in a dry tone before he shot water in the Yummy's eyes and leapt at it only for a wild swipe sent him out a window.
On a nearby rooftop, the boy in blue was watching the fight before, in a moment of temptation pulling out three bronze Core Medals before catching something in the corner of his eye and looked to see someone riding towards in fight.
Having managed to lessen his fall, Adrian was recovering on the ground as Ankh manged to get down to him.
"Well, that didn't work." Ankh said as Adrian got to his feet.
"We need a different approach." OOO pointed out before the Yummy began climbing down only for several large blasts to hit its limbs and causing it to fall to the ground. OOO then turned was shocked to see Kagami holding a black gun with gold lines, a half silver and half green circle, cell medals in an area above the trigger, and container holding more Cell Medals attached bellow the barrel.
"Adrian, catch!" Kagami called to OOO before tossing the box she had been carrying which OOO then opened to reveal a black and blue styled sword with a slot for Medals, a lever, a window on the flat of the blade, and a blue edge to the blade. "Go to that vendor over there, put in a Cell Medal, and hit the black button." She ordered as she took the container from under and placed it on the top of her gun before the Cell Medals fell down and allowed her to continue to fire as OOO swtiched back to Tatoba and followed her instructions before the Vendor he converted in to a bike.
"That. Is. Awesome." OOO said before climbing on on the bike and rising forward as the the Yummy threw out one of its arms at Kagami only for OOO to slice it off at the elbow before Kaneda sliding. "Okay. I like this thing." He said as he patted the sword.
"Put three Cells in it and pull the lever. Then use your scanner." Kagami instructed before puuling another magazine of Cell Medals while OOO did what she said and put the Cell Medals in to the sword and scanned them before the words "Triple Scanning Charge!" were heard and OOO slashed out with a call of "SEIYA!" causing a blue line to appear in the air which slid apart for a moment before coming back together before causing a massive explosion which destroyed the Yummy.
OOO jumped a little at the result of the attack before looking down at the sword and patting it. "I'm keeping you." He said before removing his armor and walking over to Kagami. Before Adrian could say a single word, she jumped in to his arms.
"I thought you were dead." Kakami whispered as she put her head in to Adrian's chest and he could only wrap his arms around her in response while up above, the blue clad boy watched the scene with a smile on his face before he took notice of the bug greeed on another rooftop.
"I'd better keep an eye on him for right now. Those two should be fine." The blue clad boy said before he leapt across the rooftops to covertly follow the Greeed.
