Disclaimer: I don't own the 2004 animated film Shark Tale and all rights goes to DreamWorks Animation SKG. Shark Tale has been one of my favorite movies since my childhood, and it still is today. I've enjoyed that movie many times since I was a kid, and I still enjoy it today. Since I love the movie so much, I decided to do a whole retelling of the movie that is called When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie with new characters, new scenes, and different dialogue, and my OC belongs to me. When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie
Chapter 2: Being A Somebody
Back at the Whale Wash, Nelson is now doing his job as the leader of the Whale Wash dental squad, and he and his fellow co-workers work together to clean one of the customers' teeth while many other customers wait their turn to have their teeth cleaned up as well. Then, they quickly get finished with cleaning her teeth and leave her mouth.
"Alright, ma'am, your teeth are all clean and your cavities have been taken care of." said Nelson.
"Thank you for making my teeth pearly white, dental squad. I appreciate it so much." said the sperm whale customer.
Nelson smiled at the customer and nuzzled her on her left side, and then she left the dental section while Nelson and his fellow co-workers waved bye to her. They prepare to clean the next customers' teeth, but before they could do so, they notice a delivery fish has arrived with some more toothpaste and mouthwash and they need it for their hard work.
"Hey, guys, the delivery fish is here And she came with the toothpaste and mouthwash that we've ordered," said Wendell.
"We really needed some more of those 'cause we've been running low on them since this week," said Hayley. "Thank goodness, the delivery came just in time."
"And it came just as we're about to clean another loyal customer's teeth," said Nelson. "I'm gonna go get them, and you guys clean the next customer's teeth while I get them. I'll be right back."
Nelson swam up to the delivery fish, and she got the boxes from the big fish's mouth that she was riding and Nelson gave her the right amount of money to pay for the delivery, and he proceeded to bring them back to the dental section. However, he accidentally drops the boxes of toothpaste on the ground and he begins putting them back in the boxes. While he does so, Sabrina suddenly notices him from the receptionist office while she and Angie did their hard work together, and she swims up to him and begins helping him out. Just as Sabrina helps him out, he begins staring at her with a lovestruck expression, and just like Angie has always been in love with Oscar, he has always been in love with her.
"Nel, were you just staring at me?" asked Sabrina.
"What? No. No, I wasn't staring at you." said Nelson.
"Well, it looks like you were staring at me," said Sabrina. "Did you wanna tell me something?"
"No, I don't. I don't have anything to tell you right now." said Nelson. "Except that I needed to tell you that you're a very beautiful golden girl with a heart of gold."
"Wait, what did you just say?" asked Sabrina in surprise.
Nelson suddenly became embarrassed. "Oh, nothing. Just nothing. I didn't say anything at all."
"Okay. If you say so." said Sabrina.
Soon, Nelson and Sabrina get finished with putting the toothpaste back in the boxes, and they work together to take them and the rest of the boxes back to the dental section where they put them in one of the dental closets while Nelson was relieved that Sabrina didn't hear him expressing his romantic feelings for her just as he expressed his gratitude for her help.
"Thanks for helping me carry the six boxes to the dental section and putting the toothpaste and mouthwash in the closets, Brina." said Nelson.
"Now, I have to get back to the receptionist office and continue answering some loyal customers as well as sign paperwork with Ang. See ya later." said Sabrina.
Sabrina then leaves the dental section and heads back to the receptionist office to continue doing her hard work along with Angie while Nelson waved bye to her, and he swims to the mouth and the next customer where he and his co-workers cleaned his teeth while he continues thinking about his love for Sabrina. Elsewhere at the Whale Wash, Oscar was doing his job as a tongue scrubber along with his co-workers, and they worked together to remove slime off one of the customers' tongues. Scrubbing slime off of the customers' tongues was really disgusting, and Oscar frowned at his job while he complained about it.
"Welcome to Oscar's crib." said Oscar sarcastically while he was shoveling some slime off of the sperm whale customer's mouth and putting it in a bucket. "It's nothing but a 60-foot slime-covered tongue with canker sores, swim-in cavities, and plankton-encrusted teeth when I feel a little…" He shovels some more slime and puts it in a bucket. "...old school! At least Nel and the dental squad don't have to remove all of this slime since the slime has already been removed when it's time for the customers to go to the dental section."
"Oh, stop your complaining, Oscar." said a tongue scrubber named Pontrelli. "Things could be a lot worse, you know."
"Yeah, that's true, Pontrelli. I could have this job at this kind of local business, and look like you." said Oscar. He then laughed. "Good one, huh? Who's behind me? Whoever's behind me, better give me some fin!" Another tongue scrubber named Knuckles gives Oscar's some fin from right behind him. "But I have a right to complain 'cause scrubbing all of this slime off of the customers is so disgusting. It really is."
"Oh, you'll get over it sooner or later," said Dwight. He began to laugh.
"Also, it's very important for us to do this kind of thing since it's their job to do so," said Vivian.
"I already know that, and that's 'cause I've been doing it for a very long time and I've been working so hard on this job," said Oscar.
"Well, maybe you can be promoted someday, Oscar." said Knuckles. She began to laugh.
Then, Oscar's fellow co-workers laughed for a moment and he scoffed in annoyance and continued doing his job while his co-workers continued doing their jobs as well. He continues to frown at his job and feels very annoyed by how his co-workers weren't showing him that much respect at all as a tongue scrubber. However, he really enjoys his job so much since it was the kind of job that he was really good at, and he already knows that his co-workers treat him with kindness while they don't show him that much respect while he would treat them with kindness and , things got a lot worse when the customer's mouth began rumbling, and Oscar even noticed the rumbling from the bucket of green slime and began to panic.
"Uh-oh. It's indigestion, and it's really nasty." said Oscar. "EVERYBODY, TAKE COVER! THE CUSTOMER IS GONNA BLOW! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!"
The customer began to heave and choke just as his mouth continued to rumble, and the tongue scrubbers began panicking and swam out of his mouth. Oscar is swimming out of his mouth too, but he stops when Knuckles has witnessed Headphone Guy is still in his mouth.
"Wait! Hold on a sec! Headphone Guy's still in there!" said Knuckles.
Oscar notices Headphone Guy is still scrubbing his mouth while he is completely unaware of the chaos going on and his mouth rumbling since he is listening to some music on his headphones.
"I GOT YOU, HEADPHONE GUY! DON'T WORRY, HELP IS COMING RIGHT NOW!" exclaimed Oscar.
Oscar swam up to Headphone Guy really fast, grabbed him, and they both braced themselves on the customer's uvula. The rumbling in his mouth continued just as the other tongue scrubbers peaked. Suddenly, he lets out a small belch which sends some slime onto Oscar's face. The other tongue scrubbers laugh while Oscar groans in disgust and wipes some of the slime off of him.
"You still think things could get worse, Pontrelli?" asked Oscar.
"Yeah! I could look just like you!" said Pontrelli just as he and the other tongue scrubbers laugh.
"Ha! You're really a funny guy." said Oscar just as he picked up the rest of the slime off of him. "But let's see if you can laugh at THIS!"
Oscar throws the slime at Pontrelli, but he quickly dodges it, and the slime ends up hitting Johnson which causes him to stagger around and accidentally hit a red button that sprays soap. A blast of soap that hits the customer in the eye, and causes him to scream loudly in pain. Johnson attempted to pull the switch to get the soap off his eye, but it didn't work. If the soap doesn't come off of his eye soon, then he could go crazy. Oscar quickly thought of an idea to help him, and he swam over to the emergency lever and pulled it.
"SOAP IN THE CUSTOMER'S EYE! SOAP IN THE CUSTOMER'S EYE!" exclaimed Oscar.
The alarm went off just as a huge clamping device grabbed the customer. Oscar then grabbed a bucket and a squeegee, swam over to him, and carefully cleaned the soap out of his eye just as he began calming himself down.
"It's alright, it's alright, kind sir." said Oscar. "Look, I'm gonna get you some coupons, we're gonna get you some detergent, we're gonna get you some free hot wax, and all that. You like that? Alright, carry on, big baby!" said Oscar.
"Thank you very much, Oscar." said the sperm whale customer.
Oscar was about to go back to doing his job, but he suddenly got zapped in the back by a stinger, causing him to yelp in pain. He turns himself around and sees two jellyfish named Ernie and Bernie who are Sykes' henchmen.
"Well, look who it is, Bernie," said Ernie.
"It's the fish we've been looking all over for." replied Bernie. "The boss wants to see you at his office right now."
"Yeah, right now," said Ernie.
"Ernie! Bernie! My jellyfish brothers. Hey, what's up, mons?" Oscar greeted. "It's really good to see you. Huh? What did you say, Ang and Brina? Oh, okay." Angie and Sabrina stared at Oscar in surprise while they were busy talking to Phoebe and a fish employee together. "Did you say something, Nel? Oh, alright." Nelson stared at Oscar in surprise while he was busy drilling another sperm whale customer's teeth along with his co-workers. "Fellas, I'm gonna go over there and…"
Then, Oscar began singing a horrible remix of the song Three Little Birds by Bob Marley just as he began leaving, but Ernie and Bernie appeared right behind him again, and Ernie zapped him in the back again which caused him to stop leaving.
"That's not the way you sing that hit classic song, mon." said Ernie.
The two jellyfish brought Oscar to him to Sykes' office and tossed him inside which caused him to roll around the floor and crash into the desk. He popped up and began warmly greeting Sykes who wasn't very amused since his meeting Don Lino from earlier.
"Hey, Sykes." Oscar greeted. "My brother from another mother, what's up, homie?" He grabbed Sykes' fin and tried to do a finshake with him just as Sykes stared at him in annoyance. "Hey, baby, this is all gravy today. Now snap your right on my fin. Snap it! You're not snapping it!"
"Oscar!" Sykes yelled out just as he pulled his fin away from Oscar.
"Hey, don't sweat it, Sykes." said Oscar just as he shrugged. "A lot of fish can't do it."
"Oscar, would you just sit down, okay?" asked Sykes. Bernie shoved Oscar into a chair. "I've been going over my markers lately, and I just learned that you're in a huge debt. You're into me for five grand. That's exactly 5 G's."
Oscar shook his head. "5 G's? No way. Man, you're tripping. I must be into you for a hundred or two hundred."
"Oh, yeah?" asked Sykes. "Well, let's see if all of these IOUs refresh your memory." He picks up a large stack of IOUs and throws them in Oscar's face."
Oscar quickly looked at all of the IOUs just as he gasped in surprise. "Whoa! That's crazy. Look at that." He began gathering the IOUs and put them on Sykes' desk while he looked very annoyed. "You write everything down so you won't forget. This is a perfect example why you're in management of this business. You go, boy."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever." said Sykes. "Also, do you know you're in a huge debt?"
"Um…Well…Is it 'cause of how I've been working really hard as a tongue scrubber?" asked Oscar.
"What? No! It's 'cause of how you didn't pay your dues, and that's 'cause of those get-rich-quick schemes of yours." said Sykes. "Oh, and do you have any idea how many get-rich-quick schemes you pulled off while you're doing your job?"
"Well…Uh…I honestly have no idea how many get-rich-quick schemes I've pulled off, Sykes," said Oscar. "Maybe it was 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6."
"18. You've pulled off 18 get-rich-quick schemes." said Sykes. "Also, it's very true that you've been working really hard on your job, and maybe you can be promoted someday. Also, I have to start paying Don Edward Lino protection money. So, everything you owe me, you owe him."
"How did you figure that out?" asked Oscar.
"It's simple. The food chain." said Sykes. He pulled down a diagram of the food chain that was hanging right above his desk. "You see? On top, there's Don Lino. Then there's me. And there's regular fish such as trout, mackerel, flounder, cod, and herring."
"Which is me?" asked Oscar.
"No. Not yet." said Sykes. He brings the food chain closer to Oscar. "There's bivalves, there's crustaceans, there's plankton, there's single-celled amoebas."
"And then there's me?" asked Oscar.
"Hold on. I'm getting there." said Sykes. "There's kelp, there's coral, there's rocks, there's whale poop, and then there's you." He pointed to the bottom of the food chain where there's a picture of Oscar holding a brush.
Oscar stared at the picture of him at the bottom of the food chain. "That's really messed up."
"So, if Don Lino is squeezing me like a sea cucumber, then he's squeezing you," said Sykes. Suddenly, the food chain chart whirled up like a window blind and hit Sykes in the face. Oscar tries to help Sykes out but he pushes him away.
"Easy, boss. Calm down and find your happy place." said Bernie.
"Yeah, happy place," said Ernie.
"I can't calm down with this fish around here! And there really is no happy place with this guy around!" Sykes yelled out. "I'M SERIOUS!" He then inflated himself.
Oscar yelped in fear and fell onto the floor. "Okay! Okay, okay, okay! Just gimme some time to pay you back! That's all I'm asking! I'm begging you, Sykes! Please! Please!"
Sykes stared at Oscar. "Alright. I'll give you some time." He then deflates himself. "And 'cause I like you, I'm gonna give you exactly 24 hours to pay up."
"I'm supposed to pay up within 24 hours?" asked Oscar in shock just as he got up from the floor. "But how am I supposed to do that?! That's impossible!"
"That's your own problem." said Sykes just as he began leaving his office. "Bring my 5000 clams to the Southside Seahorse Racetrack tomorrow at noon or else."
"Or else what?" asked Oscar.
"The boys will explain it to you," said Sykes. He then left his office.
Ernie and Bernie laughed sadistically at Oscar, and Bernie zaps Oscar's eye by warning him if he fails on paying Sykes back with the 5000 clams tomorrow at the Southside Seahorse Racetrack at noon, then will be in big trouble.
"Very unpleasant." said Oscar in fear.
Later on, at one of the apartment buildings of Southside Reef that is known as the Seashell Plaza which is the home of Oscar and his three best friends and their many neighbors as well as Sykes, Ernie, and Bernie, and many of their co-workers of the Whale Wash, Oscar and Nelson went over to Angie and Sabrina's apartment, and it is now evening. Oscar now has a black eye due to being zapped by Bernie, and he has already explained to his three best friends what just happened from his conversation with Sykes from earlier while they comfort him and tend to his black eye.
"5000 clams?!" asked Angie in shock just as she put a sea slug on Oscar's black eye. "You owe Mr. Sykes 5000 clams according to your IOUs?! How much do you still have? You know, your payment. You must have some of your payment left to pay him by tomorrow so you can get out of debt with him."
"Most of it." said Oscar sheepishly. "Well, actually, I have some of my payment left. No, I don't have any of my payment left."
"Oh, that's really, really bad." said Sabrina. "Also, you have to cough up five grand within 24 hours."
"The reason why Oscar is in debt with him is because he didn't pay his dues at the Whale Wash lately." explained Nelson. "And it's also because of his get-rich-quick schemes. No wonder you always end up in unwanted situations. Especially when you need to pay what you owe at work."
"Oh, Oscar, why do you always get yourself into these situations?" asked Angie.
Oscar sighed just as he removed the sea slug off of his black eye. "I don't know, guys. Things are just difficult…and I'm just a little fish who lives in a really big body of water known as the Atlantic Ocean!" He puts the sea slug on the leg on the bench and quickly slithers away, and he gets up from the bench and heads to the edge of the balcony while Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina stare at him in complete concern and they feel really bad for him.
"I'm nothing but a nobody. I want some of that." He pointed up at something.
"You want Mrs. Sanchez?" asked Angie.
"What?" asked Oscar. He saw Mrs. Sanchez spraying her armpits in her bathroom that is in another apartment building. "Eww! Gross! No way!" He pointed up higher to the very tall building of Southside Reef that is known as the top of the reef. "I'm talking about that. The top of the reef. A very amazing place where the somebodies live. I wanna be rich and famous just like them, but I'm stuck living down here at the bottom of the reef."
"Well, what's wrong with living down here at the bottom of the reef?" asked Angie. "Everybody loves you at the Whale Wash and you have many friends there besides us being your friends. You've been working really hard there, and you might get a promotion someday for all of your hard work,"
"Yeah, but it's just I don't get that much respect from our co-workers and I don't get that much respect from our boss Mr. Sykes either, that's all." said Oscar. "And I'll tell you guys what's wrong with living down here at the bottom of the reef."Do you guys remember my dad Earl? He has worked at the Whale Wash for his whole life since I was a little kid…before he decided to retire,"
Flashback
Many years ago, Oscar's father Earl worked at the Whale Wash as a tongue scrubber for a really long time before his retirement and he worked so hard removing the slime off of the customers' tongues and he did such a good job on all of his hard work.
"While my mom Regina was in charge of taking care of the apartment I used to live in at the Seashell Plaza since she was a housewife and I would help her out with taking good care of our home, my dad Earl was the number one tongue scrubber at the Whale Wash." explained Oscar.
Since Earl did a really good job being a tongue scrubber before his retirement, he was employee of the month for many years and he had many of his photos on one of the walls of the apartment where Oscar used to live with his parents during his childhood at the Seashell Plaza before he became roommates with Nelson. He smiled at his many photos while Regina smiled at his many photos and was very proud of him for doing his hard work as a tongue scrubber just as she gives him a kiss on the cheek, and a young Oscar smiled at his many photos just as he was very proud of him as much as his mother Regina was, and Earl and Regina warmly embrace their son together.
"He has been the number one tongue scrubber every year for 25 years." Oscar continued. "And because he worked so hard and was number one at his tongue scrubbing job, he was always the employee of the month."
Young Oscar really admired his father's job just as he and his parents smiled at the of his many employee of the month photos on the wall together while his parents kept embracing him together, and he really thought that working at the Whale Wash was an amazing job ever.
So, since he looked up to his father and his job, he decided to bring one of his father's many photos and his brush that he used to scrub the slime off of the customers' tongues one day during show-and-tell at his classroom at the Pisces Elementary School.
"To me, having a job at the Whale Wash was the coolest thing in the ocean." Oscar continued. "I honestly thought that working at the Whale Wash was so exciting…but then I learned a really harsh lesson that I would never forget about."
One of the students laughed mockingly, and the rest of the students began to cruelly mock Oscar for his father's job being a tongue scrubber at the Whale Wash. Just as his classmates cruelly mock him for his father's job, young Oscar was humiliated. Because of what happened during his childhood, it caused him to become very insecure about being special and considered himself as a nobody, and he dreams to become rich and famous so he could become a somebody and get respect from others.
End Flashback
"Before my dad retired from working at the Whale Wash, he was the greatest and he was really good at his job, but nobody loves a nobody." said Oscar. "I'll never get a lot of respect as a tongue scrubber, and I really wanna be a somebody."
"Oscar. You really don't have to live at the top of the reef to be a somebody." explained Angie.
"Even though you don't get that much respect from others as a tongue scrubber, that doesn't mean you gotta live a life of luxury."
"That's right, you're living the good life already and you should listen to your heart instead of your head." said Nelson.
"You're already special in your own way and you should appreciate what you already have," said Sabrina.
Oscar sighed and sat back down on the bench while he continued being dejected. "What's the difference, guys? If I don't pay Mr. Sykes back by tomorrow, I'll be dead anyway, so…"
Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina continued to feel really bad for Oscar. If he doesn't pay back Sykes within 24 hours and doesn't get out of his debt soon, he'll be in a lot of trouble. Suddenly, Angie decides to help him out with his situation.
"Wait here, guys. It won't be long." said Angie. She went inside her and Sabrina's apartment to get something.
Oscar just stared at the top of the reef in complete dejection, knowing that his lifelong dream of becoming a somebody and getting respect from others by living a luxurious life has been completely ruined while Nelson and Sabrina stared at him and they still really felt bad for him. Angie quickly comes back to the balcony with a small seashell box.
"Huh? What's this? What's in that box?" asked Oscar. Angie opened up the box and inside of it was a shiny pink pearl. The pearl was the most beautiful pearl that Oscar has ever seen. "A pink pearl? Where did you get that from?"
"My grandmother gave it to me as a gift on Christmas Day." explained Angie. "I've had it ever since we were kids. She told me that the pearl started from a tiny grain of sand. And after a little while, it grows into something very beautiful and full of admiration. Dreams can begin small too." She offered her pearl to Oscar.
"What? No, Angie, I couldn't take your pearl." said Oscar just as he refused to take Angie's pearl. "Uh-uh. I couldn't possibly sell something that is very special to you and was a gift. I couldn't do that."
"Take it. It will get you the money you need to pay back Mr. Sykes." said Angie. "Sell it at the Prawn Shop it will get you the right amount of money to pay off your debt to our boss by tomorrow, and I'm alright with you taking it. Go ahead and sell it so your situation will be over soon. I insist."
Oscar takes the pearl from Angie, and he smiles at her, Nelson, and Sabrina just as he is glad to have them as his best friends since they would always be there for him and help him out when needed, and he would always be there for them and help them out when needed while they smiled back at him. The four best friends smiled at each other and Oscar quickly remembered that even though he was mocked by his classmates for his father's job as a tongue scrubber, he had Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina as his best friends when he used to attend Pisces Elementary School, and that's because they attended the elementary school along with him during their childhood.
"Hey, guys. "I just remembered something very important," said Oscar. "Even though I didn't have that many friends in my class at Pisces Elementary School, you guys were my only best friends.
Flashback
At the cafeteria of Pisces Elementary School many years ago, young Oscar was having lunch alone at one of the tables and he doesn't have any friends because of his own insecurities. Soon, Young Angie, young Nelson, and young Sabrina arrive at the table he's sitting at, and they notice him being all by himself and wonder why he is alone during lunchtime. He explains everything to them why he is always by himself just as he began feeling very dejected, and they began to feel bad for him and become his best friends which caused him to become filled with happiness. They all begin to have lunch with each other and get to know each other while Oscar still has his insecurities.
End Flashback
"You know, I was really lucky when you guys came to the table I was sitting at during lunchtime and became my best friends since I was by myself." said Oscar. "Becoming best friends with you guys was one of the best things that has ever happened in my life, and I value my friendship with you guys very much."
The four best friends continued to smile at each other and then warmly embrace each other just as they enjoy their friendship with each other, and they have always been there for each other since that's what best friends are for. Also, Oscar is still deeply insecure and he still believes that in order to become a somebody, he has to become rich and famous. Suddenly, they heard a knock at the front door and they went inside of the apartment to see who it was. Angie opened the door, and they quickly discovered it was Sykes, Ernie, and Bernie.
"Oh, Sykes, it's you. And it's Ernie and Bernie." said Oscar.
"What brings you guys here to our apartment?" asked Angie.
"We're here to tell you something," said Sykes."Well, do you know how one of your co-workers, Johnson, became employee of the month since he was doing a really good job at the control tower?"
"Yeah. What about him?" asked Nelson.
"Well, he has decided to throw a party to become the employee of the month, and he has everybody who works at the Whale Wash to attend his party," said Sykes. "Including you guys since you guys work there too."
"Really?" asked Sabrina.
"Yeah. His party is gonna be in his apartment, and it's about to start soon," said Sykes. "So, are you guys coming or not?"
"Well, of course we are going to his party," said Oscar. "Well, what are you guys waiting for? Let's go right now."
The group of four best friends then leave Angie and Sabrina's apartment and they began heading to Johnson's apartment to attend his party for becoming employee of the month along with Sykes, Ernie, and Bernie, and they soon arrive at his apartment where they begin attending it along with their fellow co-workers and congratulated Johnson. Also, even though he was having so much fun just like everybody else, he felt very insecure about attending it, causing his three best friends to become filled with surprise and confusion. Later on, the party has ended, and Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina feel bad for him while he still hopes that he could make his lifelong dream of becoming a somebody somehow.
Later on that night at the Seashell Plaza, Oscar is now vacuuming his and Nelson's with a vacuum cleaner while Nelson makes a beautiful golden heart at the kitchen table which is a love gift for Sabrina and wishes to win her heart somehow. Oscar suddenly notices the heart Nelson made for Sabrina, and he smiles at it and he is completely aware of Nelson's romantic feelings for Sabrina since he has always told him all about it. Nelson then leaves the apartment, heads to Angie and Sabrina's apartment, and leaves the gift of the welcome mat and knocks on the door and hides right behind a wall so he won't get noticed by Sabrina since he is her secret admirer.
Angie and Sabrina answer to see who it is and they both notice the gift on the welcome mat which Sabrina quickly notices it was from her secret admirer and wonders who he is while she is completely unaware that he is Nelson, and she loves the gift so much while Angie loves it as well. They both went back inside, and Sabrina put her gift along with the other gifts she got lately and watched a 90s TV sitcom called Living Single along with Angie in the living room. Back at the hallway, Nelson has already witnessed Sabrina discover the gift, and he is very delighted that she loves the heart gift so much. Also, he is glad that she didn't notice that he was his secret admirer yet just as he plans to confess his deep romantic feelings for her, but he isn't ready to do so yet and he will eventually confess his love for her when he overcomes his shyness.
