"I just can't believe you did that, and left it this long to tell us that's all I'm saying." Molly huffed as she slammed her bowl of porridge down on the table.

"It was my decision to make Molly" Arabelle sighed leaning against the kitchen counter, the mug of coffee burning her hand.

It was the September the first, and the house was manic. Everyone was running into each other looking for the things they had forgotten to pack the night before.

"Mum" Ron called from upstairs "I can't find my cloak"

"Its down here Ronald! I've told you twice already" Molly shouted. "Madame Pomfrey is one of the best healers around,I just don't understand why you told her you didn't want the job?!" She asked turning her attention back to Arabelle.

"Molly I told you, I didn't tell her I didn't want the job, I asked her if I could defer for a year, I'm just not ready to work in a school, I'm not good enough."

Molly huffed loudly "well we both know that's not true, but fine, I think it's a mistake, but fine. If your sure."

"I am sure" Arabelle replied stubbornly. "You can tell Fred and George then, they've been looking forward to you being at Hogwarts for weeks." Molly said ending the conversation.

Arabelle turned to look out the window, and rolled her eyes, Molly could be so opinionated sometimes. Just then a blue light filled the room and a patronus of a Fox appeared in mid-air. "Sorry Arabelle, I know it's your day off but we need you here desperately" a female voice came from its mouth. "We've had a burn patient brought in. The other healers are busy and you're the best in the burn department anyway, sorry again." There was a small pop as the patronus disappeared.

Arabelle sighed but secretly she was grateful to have an excuse to leave the house. She knew Molly knew the real reason she didn't want to go back to Hogwarts. It wasn't because she wasn't ready, she was more than ready. She was becoming known for her talent in the hospital and she was barely starting her second year. It was because the castle was where she had spent the best years of her life with Charlie and she just wasn't ready face the memories that would haunt her there. Arabelle was angry at herself for letting something so trivial get in the way of her career, but she was angry with Charlie too, for the trail of destruction he had left behind. Two more letters had arrived since she had burnt the first, and both of those came to the same fate. She wanted him to pay for what he had done to her. It was spiteful yes, but necessary for her healing process. Or at least that's what she told herself. She took a swig of coffee burning the roof of her mouth, and tipped the rest down the sink.

"I'm sorry Molly" she said hurriedly tying her hair on top of her head.

Molly slammed her spoon down on the table. "I see how this day is going to go, I'm going to have to take all of them to the station on my own again! Just like last year."

Arabelle kissed Molly's head as she rushed to put on her jacket.

"Will you try to make it back home soon" Molly asked getting to her feet. "You know how upset Ginny is going to be and I could really use you here"

"Ill try my best but I can't promise, depends how severe theses burns are. Tell the boys I'm really sorry I'm not going to be there"

"Oh alright" Molly huffed again, "but will you at least let me know if you'll want..." there was a crack as Arabelle dissaperated "...dinner" Molly finished, now standing alone in the kitchen, she threw her bowl into the sink and made her way upstairs to try to get her sons organized.

A/N: I just wanted to take the time to say a quick thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read my story. It really means a lot to me that you enjoy it. These last few chapters have been short as I write late in the evenings when I finish work but I plan for the next few to be longer. Please comment and let me know what you think so far and if there's anything you think would improve or add to the story. Thanks!
