When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie

Chapter 4: The Seahorse Racetrack

The next day at Southside Reef, its citizens are hiding from the threat of the great white shark mafia again like they would usually do, and Luca, Yvette, and five members of the mafia are wrecking a local bodega called the Algae Corner Bodega while a sea otter who is the owner is being held hostage by one of the mobsters in order to prevent them from interfering, and she's one of Don Lino's many victims of paying him protection money so their business won't get wrecked. Soon, they get finished with wrecking the bodega, and it's now completely ruined. The owner is now depressed that her business got wrecked by them just as she is being comforted by her husband, son, and daughter, and it's being broadcasted by Sea 9 while a huge crowd of citizens observed it in complete shock.

"Good afternoon, Southside Reef. I'm Katie Current, keeping it current." Katie Current announced to the viewers. "I'm here in one of the neighborhoods of this reef, and it's where another shark attack has occurred today." She turned to the sea otter owner. "Hello, ma'am, my name is Katie Current. One of the local reporters of Sea 9. Your bodega just got wrecked by the sharks, and what made them do so anyway?"

"Well…I failed to pay them protection money." explained the sea otter owner while she was still crying. "I was supposed to pay what I owe their boss Don Edward Lino, but I was unable to do so 'cause I was using that money to take care of myself and my family. I worked so hard to build my bodega and I've owned it for a very long time, and now it's completely wrecked."

"Oh, it's gonna be okay, ma'am." replied Katie Current. "Many people have gone through something like this." She cleared her throat and turned back to the viewers. "Well, there you have it, citizens of Southside Reef. This happened all because the owner of this bodega has failed to pay what she owed Don Edward Lino. Now, to Thomas and Rachael."

Then, the Sea 9 news broadcast switches to the anchorman of Sea 9 who is a halibut named Thomas and the co-anchor of Sea 9 who is a tang named Rachael, and they both begin talking about how Don Lino's henchmen and the five mobsters wrecked the bodega as well as how the citizens of the reef being terrorized by the members of the mafia during these days.

"Good afternoon, Southside Reef. I'm Thomas, the anchorman." Thomas announced to the viewers.

"And I'm Rachael, the co-anchor." Rachael announced to the viewers.

"Today, a local bodega known as the Algae Corner Bodega got wrecked by the members of the mafia." Thomas announced. "That's because she was one of the many victims who had to pay protection money to one of the most feared crime bosses of this ocean, Don Edward Lino."

"The reef has been under the threat of Don Edward Lino and his great white shark mafia for so long." Rachael announced. "The members of the mafia managed to get away with committing crimes, and the crime rate of this reef rises higher and higher day after day."

"Let's keep wishing for somebody who could be able to stop this shark menace." Thomas announced. "Good afternoon, Southside Reef, and have a pleasant afternoon, everybody."

Later on that day at the Whale Wash, while most of the employees are cleaning up the customers, most of the employees are at an outdoor cafe that is located right in front of the Whale Wash where they can take a break from their hard work. Oscar, and his three best friends are having a break as well, and they are spending time with each other while Oscar has a conversation with his three best friends about becoming a somebody and they insist that he should listen to his heart instead of his head.

"Thank you very much for getting what we ordered from the concession stand, Oscar and Nelson," said Angie. "It was really kind of you to do so since it's part of being proper gentlemen, and they are polite to the ladies and show good manners."

"Ang, Brina, Nel and I already know what it means to be proper gentlemen and would show ladies politeness and good manners," said Oscar.

"Well, the gentlemen would kindly open the door for the ladies," said Nelson.

"The gentleman would kindly pull out a chair for the ladies too." said Sabrina.

"The gentlemen would kindly allow the ladies to go first too." said Oscar.

"And the gentlemen would kindly pay what the ladies would like to order something," said Angie.

"So, it's a good thing that we're now having a break at the outdoor cafe at the Whale Wash." said Oscar. "It is one of the best places and we really need it from all of our hard work."

"Well, Ang and I have been answering a lot of customers and doing a lot of paperwork at the receptionist office," said Sabrina.

"I've been leading the dental squad, Wendell, Hayley, the others, and I cleaned a lot of the customers' teeth at the dental section." said Nelson.

"And the other tongue scrubbers and I scrubbed the slime off of the customers' tongues." said Oscar. "Oh, and I don't get that much respect from others either. I'm a nobody, and nobodies doesn't gets that much respect from others. I still wanna be a somebody, and somebodies are rich and famous. That's 'cause how I got made fun of by my classmates for admiring my dad's job as a tongue scrubber and thought having that kind of job was really amazing."

"But, Oscar, living a life of luxury can't be the answer, and you're already special in your own way." said Nelson.

"You're living a good life already, and you don't have to become rich and famous anyway. You should listen to your heart instead of your head." said Sabrina.

"Following your dreams is a wonderful thing, but most of the time, dreams begin small." said Angie. "Oscar, you need to understand you don't have to live at the top of the reef to become a somebody. Also, you should appreciate what you already have."

Oscar begin to feel very depressed about his insecurities just as he still believes that he must become rich and famous in order to become a somebody, and Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina began comforting him and warmly embraced him just as they felt very bad for him which causes his expression to fade away and began smiling at him just as he warmly embraced them. Also, they quickly notice that Sykes, Ernie, and Bernie are swimming up to the table that they are sitting, much to their surprise. Sykes and his two henchmen soon arrive at their table, and the reason why they arrive at their table is to remind Oscar about the 5000 clams that he still owes Sykes.

"Sykes, are you about to take a break here at the outdoor cafe?" asked Oscar.

"Well, I am planning on doing so, but I'll take a break here after I need to get something finished that is very important." said Sykes. "You know, that I'm supposed to get my 5000 clams at the Southside Seahorse Racetrack that you owe me. Have you forgotten that you owe me the 5 G's, Oscar?"

"What? No. No, I haven't forgotten, man." said Oscar. "I remember that I owe you the 5 G's."

"Well, that's good 'cause I'm here to tell you that it's almost noon, which means it's almost time for you to pay me back at the Southside Seahorse Racetrack," said Sykes. "So, you better hurry up. 'Cause if you don't, then you're gonna be in a lot of trouble."

"Okay, I'll be on it, Sykes." said Oscar.

"Alright. So remember, show up at the racetrack with my 5000 clams…or else." said Sykes. "I'll see you at the racetrack at noon. C'mon, Ernie and Bernie, let's go."

Sykes then leaves along with his two henchmen just as they begin heading to the Southside Seahorse Racetrack, and Oscar remembers about the pearl Angie gave him last night to sell it at the Prawn Shop to get the 5000 clams that he needs to pay off his debt with Sykes so the situation that he is right now will be over soon, and he's now getting ready to do so.

"Guys, I still owe Mr. Sykes the 5 G's and I must sell your grandma's pearl so I can get the money I need to pay him back, Angie." said Oscar. "I'm gonna do what I need to do. But first, I'm gonna finish my food and beverage as well as spend time with my three best friends while our break lasts."

"So, Oscar, remember about the advice we gave you yesterday and today," said Angie. "Remember that you can follow your dreams, but dreams begin small."

Oscar nodded his head in agreement, and he continued spending time with his three best friends at the outdoor cafe for their break along with their fellow co-workers. Also, he is now planning to go to the Prawn Shop to sell Angie's pearl and get the five grand that he needs to pay back Sykes at the racetrack. While he valued his friendship with them, he is still deeply insecure due to what he's been through during his childhood. Soon, break time at the outdoor cafe is now over, and Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina, and everybody else continue doing their hard work while Oscar leaves the Whale Wash to pay what he owes Sykes.

Later on that day, Oscar arrives at the Prawn Shop where he sells Angie's pearl to the blue shrimp owner, and he gives him an envelope full of 5000 clams. Oscar leaves the Prawn Shop with the envelope, and he begins heading to the racetrack where he will meet Sykes as well as Ernie and Bernie there and give Sykes the envelope so he could be able to pay him back and get out of debt with him just like he has planned on. While he does so, the six Shorties quickly swim up to him and they warmly greet him while he warmly greets them back.

"Hey, Oscar." Khalil greeted."Did you hear the big news?"

"You know, a very special music video contest that is from Bad Trout Records is gonna be soon." said LaToya.

"And it's gonna be judged by P. Diddy since he's the one who founded the record label, homie." said DeShawn.

"Whoever has the best music video will win the contest, and the winner will receive a million clams," said Nicole.

"And their music video will be shown on the MTV channel on the weekends every week," said Tyrone.

"So, Oscar since Bad Trout Records are gonna do the music video contest soon, are you gonna enter?" asked Jordan.

"Well, actually, I would like to enter the contest, but I'm not gonna enter the contest. 'Cause it's not really my thing. You see, I remembered I entered a music video contest from Bad Trout Records a long time ago, and the music video that I made was good, but it wasn't good enough to impress P. Diddy. So I ended up coming in second place and it made me realize that doing music videos isn't my style, homies."

"You know, you're absolutely right, Oscar. Doing music videos isn't that easy anyway." said Khalil.

"Well, thank you for telling me about the music video contest of Bad Trout Records, Shorties." said Oscar. "I'll see y'all later. Bye."

The six Shorties then leave and they go to a nearby candy shop known as the Bubbly Candy Shop where they begin buying some candy, and Oscar continues to head to the racetrack so he could pay back Sykes with the five grand. Suddenly, Crazy Joe appears from a nearby dumpster and notices Oscar just as he smiles at him.

"Hey, Oscar!" Crazy Joe called out.

Oscar quickly notices Crazy Joe from the nearby dumpster. "Oh, hey, Crazy Joe!"

"Come over here! I wanna tell you something!" Crazy Joe called out. Oscar swims up to the dumpster where Crazy Joe is at. "Have you heard of that amazing music video contest that is being hosted by the rapper P. Diddy himself?"

"Mmm-hmm. I heard all about it." said Oscar.

"So, are you planning on entering the contest?" asked Crazy Joe.

"No, Crazy Joe. I'm not planning on entering." said Oscar.

"Why not?" asked Crazy Joe. "If you enter, then your music video will appear on MTV during the weekends and you'll win a lot of money too. Oh, and hopefully I'll be your financial advisor. Why won't you be entering the contest anyway?"

"'Cause I'm not good at making music videos that much, that's all." said Oscar.

"Is that true?" asked Crazy Joe. Oscar nodded his head yes. "Well, alright then. I was hoping that if you entered the contest and hopefully win, then I could be your financial advisor. There's always next time."

"Yeah, Crazy Joe. For sure." said Oscar just as he felt a little awkward. "So, I'll see ya later."

"Bye, Oscar." said Crazy Joe. "Oh, and by the way, I need to see the latest newspaper, and I hope that the news story of the day is really good."

Crazy Joe then pulls out a Southside Reef Times newspaper and he reads the latest news of the reef which is about two belugas accidentally crashing into each other and causing a traffic jam within one of the roads of the reef, and upon seeing the latest news story, Crazy Joe finds it really funny and began laughing so hard.

Oscar continues to head to the racetrack and give Sykes the five grand that he owes him so he could get out of his debt with him, and he remembers that entering the Bad Trout Records music video contest was one of his many get-rich-quick schemes that were unsuccessful. Later on that day, many citizens are at the racetrack where they watch the latest seahorse races and bet on the seahorses who are competing in the races so they could win by receiving betting slips. Everybody kept cheering and betting while Sykes was at his private box swimming back and forth, waiting for Oscar to arrive with his five grand that he owes him.

"That kid better show up with the money or else he's dead meat." said Sykes.

"Just say the word, boss." said Ernie.

At the lobby of the racetrack, Oscar is swimming to Sykes' private box with the envelope, and he is very delighted that he has managed to sell Angie's pearl at the Prawn Shop thanks to Angie helping him out. Once Oscar gives the five grand to Sykes like he's supposed to, he will be out of debt with him and his problems will be over.

"Carry a big envelope full of money. Give it to Mr. Sykes. Pay him back." said Oscar.

Just as Oscar is swimming to Sykes' private box to give the envelope full of the 5000 clams to Sykes, two fish accidentally bumped into him, causing him to let go of the envelope.

"Hurry up! We don't wanna miss it!" said fish #1. "This race is our big chance!"

"Are you sure about this?" asked fish #2.

"Well, of course. One of the trainers of the races tipped me off." said fish #1. "He already told me that one of the races is rigged. We can't lose."

Oscar quickly caught the envelope back and continued to head to Sykes' private box to give it to him to pay him back, but he begins hearing the two fish's conversation about how one of the seahorse races has been rigged, much to his surprise.

"So, what's the seahorse's name anyway?" asked the second fish.

"Lucky Day. One of the famous seahorses of the racetrack." said fish #1."

Oscar looked up at the list of the many seahorses who is part of the seahorse races on the wall, and see that one of the seahorses Lucky Day is on top of the list, meaning that he is one of of the most famous seahorses of the racetrack and will be the winner of the next seahorse race.

"The seahorses who will be competing for the next race are Fish Fingers, Seabiscuit, Yellow Tail, Salmonella, Oceanus." the announcer of the seahorse racetrack announced. "And last but not least, the longshot at two hundred to one, Lucky Day. Betting windows close in one minute, everybody. So, enjoy the fifth race."

"If Lucky Day wins, we're gonna be rich! Rich!" said fish #2.

Oscar became filled with excitement. "Top of the reef, here I come! I'll become rich and famous in no time at all if that seahorse Lucky Day wins the next race!" He quickly snapped out of it. "Wait a minute. What the heck am I doing? Remember what Angie said. Remember what Angie said. What did Angie say?" He begins remembering what Angie told him from yesterday evening.

"My grandmother told me that dreams can begin small, and all you have to do is…bet it all! BET IT ALL!" said Angie in Oscar's mind.

Oscar imagined if Lucky Day wins the next seahorse race, he will win a lot of money and begin living at the top of the reef. He forgot everything Angie told him from yesterday evening, so he had a new plan. He slammed the envelope down on one of the counters of the lobby and foolishly bets on the 5000 clams on the next seahorse race.

"5000 for the Lucky Day to win!" said Oscar just as he gave the envelope to a fish cashier.

The fish cashier takes the envelope. "That's two hundred one." He presses a button on the betting slip printer machine and a betting slip prints out. "Betting on Lucky Day would earn somebody a million clams!"

Oscar takes the betting slip. "Well, I guess that makes me Oscar the millionaire."

At the far end of the lobby, the words "the millionaire" hung in the water like a strand of saltwater pearls, and a mysterious figure heard the words and turned herself around, and she was a lionfish named Lola who is a gold digger and a femme fatale, and she was the most beautiful and most alluring yet voluptuous fish in the entire Atlantic Ocean. She began staring at Oscar with a very interested expression since he had placed his bet for Lucky Day to win and claimed himself to be a millionaire, and she's only interested in those who are rich and famous.

Just as Oscar was about to leave with the betting slip and hoped that Lucky Day would win the next race, he suddenly noticed Lola, and he became completely lovestruck since she was the most gorgeous fish he had ever seen. Then, Lola begins doing some dance moves right in front of Oscar for a moment just as she seduces him while Oscar keeps staring at her with a lovestruck expression. Lola stopped dancing seductively in front of Oscar and began flirting with him.

"Nice bet, handsome." said Lola. Oscar's mouth hung open for a moment and then he chuckled while he was in love with her. "You got a name?" Oscar chuckled again just as he was unable to say anything. "Are you gonna tell me what it is?" Oscar chuckled again just as he nodded. "Well, my name is Lola." She then leaves.

Oscar then snapped out of it. "C'mon, man! Get your game face on! I gotta get her to notice me!" He smacked himself in the face and began following Lola around. "So, Lola, my name is…" He accidentally bumped into a pillar. "My name is Oscar, sweetie. And it's really nice to meet you." Mrs. Sanchez stared at Oscar while she was reading the newspaper, causing him to yelp in surprise and shock. "Oh, Mrs. Sanchez. Hello…milady."

"The kind of smooth talk doesn't work out with me." said Mrs. Sanchez while she continues to read the newspaper.

"Oops. My bad." said Oscar. He continues following Lola. "Hey, so, Lola, my name is Oscar."

"That's a really cute name. Also, you are very handsome too." said Lola. "So, you are actually a millionaire are you?"

"Uh…Yes. Yes, I am a millionaire." said Oscar while he began impressing Lola.

"I heard that you made a bet on Lucky Day by using 5000 clams, and you must be a millionaire who has a lot of money," said Lola.

"Of course, I do. I have a lot of money, and I have millions of clams. The millions of clams that I have are 10000. Actually, it's 20000."

"That's a great deal of money, Oscar," said Lola. "So, I'm really into millionaires, and since you are one, I would like to watch the race with you at the VIP section, and it has the best seats there."

"Really?" asked Oscar. Lola nodded her head. "Well, I can escort you there right now."

Suddenly, Oscar begins thinking of an idea to get into the VIP section to watch the race with Lola since she has flirted with him and he began impressing her by allowing her to think that he's some kind of millionaire which isn't true at all. Also, he has already known that he is unable to get in the VIP section. Sykes suddenly shows up at the lobby along with his two henchmen looking for him, causing him to become filled with surprise and he becomes nervous.

"Oscar. There you are." said Sykes. "I've been starting to think that you've skipped out on me."

"Sykes! I see you were heading to the concession stand." said Oscar. "Would you mind bringing us back some drinks?" He pushed Sykes to one of the concession stands.

"Hey, what the heck are you doing, huh? Why are you touching me?" asked Sykes.

"Can you bring a Coral-Cola, a Spout, a Dr. Pearl, a Gush, and a H2up which is an extra for me? That would be great man, thanks." said Oscar. "Oh, and bring back some popcorn and those little wiener thingies."

"You mean the corn dogs with the toothpicks?" asked Bernie.

"What the heck are you doing?! Don't listen to him!" exclaimed Sykes just as he bonked Bernie in the head.

"C'mon, Lola, let me escort you to my box and see how the race will turn out." said Oscar just as he began escorting Lola.

"Wait a minute? Your box?" asked a crab security guard while blocking Oscar and Lola from the entrance.

"His box?! He can't even afford the bubblegum from under those best seats either!" exclaimed Sykes.

"Well, he just laid five grand on Lucky Day to win the race." said Lola while Oscar tried to tell Sykes that she was crazy. "I think he can afford anything he wants since he's a millionaire." Lola stared at Oscar just as he nervously smiled at her.

"Five grand? My five grand?!" asked Sykes while he got angry and upset.

"No! No! No! It was…um…uh…it was another five grand!" said Oscar nervously.

"You had the money to pay me back like you were supposed to and you ended up betting it anyway?!" asked Sykes. He grabbed the betting slip from Oscar. "GIMME THAT! AND YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT YOU'RE NOT A MILLIONAIRE EITHER!"

Lola stares at Oscar for a moment and then loses all interest in him upon learning that he isn't really the millionaire she thought he was. "Actually, I just realized I made a mistake. I'll be leaving now." She begins swimming away.

"No! Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! Lola!" Oscar called out just as he followed Lola.

Lola turned back. "Look. Deep down, I'm really superficial and I'm into the ones that I'm really interested in." She pulls Oscar close as if to kiss him. "Also, don't get me wrong like I said from before when I first met you, you have a cute name and you're so handsome but…" She pushes him away just as he belittles and disrespects him. "I just found out that you're a nobody and you're not a millionaire at all. What a waste of my time. Ugh."

"But I've been going around places lately, and I've been dreaming about becoming a millionaire for a very long time," said Oscar.

"Well, call me when you actually become a millionaire. For real." said Lola.

Lola then left while Oscar stared at her, and he became filled with disappointment that she left after she found out that he isn't rich and called him a nobody while he has failed to impress her since he has fallen in love with her and attempted to win her love by claiming that he has some kind of millionaire which isn't true. Then, Oscar saw Ernie and Bernie holding the corn dogs with faces drawn with ketchup and mustard right in front of him.

"Oscar, you have a cute name and you're handsome, but you're a nobody and you're not a millionaire at all." said Bernie.

"Wait, Lola, come back! I'm not a nobody! I'm nothing but a wiener!" said Ernie while he and Bernie laughed together.

Sykes nudged Oscar's shoulder. "You are unbelievable! You're in trouble up to your gills, and now you're asking for more trouble, huh? Now, c'mon! Get into the VIP section!"

Sykes grabbed Oscar's fin and took him to his private box at the VIP section while Ernie and Bernie went to the VIP section as well. Sykes is angry and annoyed Oscar bet his 5000 clams on Lucky Day, but he agrees to see how the race will turn out.

Meanwhile, after she lost all interest in Oscar after she found out he isn't rich and left, Lola begins swimming around the racetrack while hoping to find somebody else who is actually rich and famous. Many male fish noticed Lola swim by and began staring at her with very lovestruck expressions and they all tried to win her heart, but none of them were unable to do so since they weren't rich at all, and she called them nobodies. Soon, Lola overhears another fish joyfully states that he has already placed a bet on one of the seahorses Oceanus to win the last race by using 3000 clams, and he has managed to win and he has earned himself 50000 clams and states that he is a millionaire, and she quickly becomes interested in him and seduced him while she flirted with him. The fish begins a relationship with her, and they both leave the racetrack together while they hold each other's fins.

At Sykes' private box at the VIP section, Oscar, Sykes, and his two henchmen are getting ready to watch the race, and Sykes now expects Oscar to hope that Lucky Day will win somehow or else he will be in big trouble since he has foolishly bet his five grand on Lucky Day instead. Ernie and Bernie already took their seats, and Sykes picks up a glass cup from a wine bucket.

"Oscar, you better pray that the seahorse you bet on comes through." said Sykes. "That you bet on with my 5000 clams." He quickly noticed Oscar sitting on his head. "Hey, hey, hey! You get out of my seat!" Ernie and Bernie grabbed Oscar and forced him to sit between them. "Unbelievable!" He took his seat with his glass cup.

"Sit tight and watch the race with your only good eye, mon." said Ernie while he laughed with Bernie.

"Yeah, good eye," said Bernie while he laughed with Ernie.

"The seahorses are all lining up at the post." the seahorse racetrack announcer announced. The gates open, and Fish Fingers, Seabiscuit, Yellow Tail, Salmonella, and Oceanus begin racing on the seahorse racetrack. "And they're off. Followed by Fish Fingers, Seabiscuit, Yellow Tail, Salmonella, and Oceanus."

While the other seahorses begin racing on the racetrack, Lucky Day is still behind the gate and is trying to get out of it.

"It appears the longshot Lucky Day appears to be having trouble getting out the gate. They appear to be stuck." the seahorse racetrack announcer continued. "Somebody must've forgot to fix it last week."

"What?!" asked Oscar in shock while Sykes stared at him.

"Only a foolish sucker could've bet on that seahorse." the seahorse racetrack announcer continued.

"Are you serious?" asked Sykes.

"No, no, no, homie. Don't worry." said Oscar. "This usually happens sometimes. He's just having some trouble, that's all."

"But what's this?" the seahorse racetrack announcer continued. Suddenly, Lucky manages to break through the gate and he begins racing on the seahorse racetrack along with the other seahorses. "Lucky has crashed his way through the gate, and he now begins racing. Down the first straight of the racetrack, it's Seabiscuit, Fish Fingers, Oceanus, and Lucky Day."

"Please, Lucky Day, go fast." whispered Oscar while hoping that Lucky Day would win the race.

While the race continued, Lucky Day was far behind from the other seahorses on the seahorse racetrack. Suddenly, Lucky Day begins to catch up with Fish Fingers, Seabiscuit, Yellow Tail, Salmonella, and Oceanus, and he manages to pass Yellow Tail, Oceanus, and Salmonella.

"Coming around the far turn of the seahorse racetrack, its Seabiscuit by a length Lucky Day is far behind from the other seahorses." the seahorse racetrack announcer continued. "And here comes Lucky Day and he's catching up to the other seahorses. He's passing Yellow Tail, Oceanus, and Salmonella. He's doing a great job already."

"See? What did I tell you? Who's your fish now?" asked Oscar. "Go, Lucky Day, go!"

"Go fast, Lucky Day!" said Sykes.

"Go! Go! Go!" said Ernie and Bernie.

While the race still continues, Lucky Day manages to pass Seabiscuit and he catches up to Fish Fingers. Both Lucky Day and Fish Fingers are now trying to get past each other so either of them could make it to the finish line.

"And around the final turn, here comes Lucky Day. He is now caught up to Fish Fingers." the seahorse racetrack announcer continued. "They're head to head, neck to neck! What a very great effort, everybody! Look at Lucky Day go!"

"C'mon, go through for me, Lucky Day! Win the race!" said Oscar just as he became very excited. He then sat right next to Sykes on his seat. "I'm just getting tired of waiting to get started on counting all of the money!"

"Me too! We're gonna be rich!" said Sykes just as he chuckled.

Lucky Day has already managed to pass Fish Fingers right after he has managed to pass Seabiscuit, Yellow Tail, Salmonella, and Oceanus, and he is now in the lead of the seahorse race and he's almost to the finish line. While he is about to make it to the finish line, Oscar and Sykes begin singing the song Moving On Up by Ja'net DuBois which is the theme song from a 70s sitcom called The Jeffersons and do a victory dance together while Ernie and Bernie smirked at each other.

"This is Lucky Day's big day, everybody! It's Lucky Day!" the seahorse racetrack announcer continued.

Just as Lucky Day is about to make it to the finish line, he suddenly loses control of himself, trips himself on the ground, and accidentally hits himself in the nose with his tail. Then, he crashed on the ground and rolled around after he accidentally tripped himself.

"Oh, no! What happened! Lucky Day is down! He tripped himself while he was about to cross the finish line, everybody!" the seahorse racetrack announcer continued.

Oscar and Sykes kept singing the song Moving On Up and did a victory dance together, Oscar suddenly saw Lucky Day had crashed on the ground and became filled with surprise and shock.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" exclaimed Oscar.

Lucky Day kept rolling around on the ground after he accidentally tripped for a moment, and then he stopped right in front of the finish line while Fish Fingers, Fish Fingers, Seabiscuit, Yellow Tail, Salmonella, and Oceanus continued to race on racetrack, and Fish Fingers was the first to make it to the finish line, meaning that he won the race.

"And here comes Fish Fingers, Seabiscuit, Yellow Tail, Salmonella, and Oceanus, and Fish Fingers have crossed the finish line." the seahorse racetrack announcer continued. "And Fish Fingers is the winner."

After Lucky Day lost the race, Oscar kept embracing Sykes so he wouldn't let him notice that Lucky Day had lost and Fish Fingers was the winner of the race.

"Hey, what happened?" asked Sykes.

"Wait, wait, wait! I just wanna keep holding you!" said Oscar.

Sykes pushed Oscar off of him. "Get out of my way, Oscar. Let me see, will ya?"

Sykes quickly saw that Lucky Day has lost and Fish Finger is the winner, causing him to become very angry since Lucky Day has lost the race, Oscar has lost him five grand.

"It's a very unlucky day for the longshot and one of the famous seahorses of the Southside Seahorse Racetrack Lucky Day." the seahorse racetrack announcer continued.

"Um…remember your happy place, Sykes." said Oscar.

Sykes began inflating in anger. He looked at the betting slip and angrily ripped it up.

"It's a very sad day for Lucky Day. And that's why he was called a longshot." the seahorse racetrack announcer.

"Yo, that was crazy, right? Who knew that Lucky Day was gonna win?" asked Oscar. Ernie and Bernie smirked at each other and knew they must do their job just as they swam right behind Oscar. "I mean, everything's set, we're good to go, we were about to earn a lot of money, and he trips. I mean, who trips during a seahorse race? And by the way, on what?"

"Okay, you know what? That's it! That's it, I've had it!" snapped Sykes. He then inflates and begins floating away. "Ernie, Bernie, do me a favor and take good care of Oscar. I want you to find the deepest darkest in the Atlantic Ocean, and when you do, dig deeper, and put him in it! Take him to the wastelands and teach him a lesson!"

Just as Sykes was floating away, his quills popped a balloon that belonged to a young fish child, causing her to scream very loudly since her balloon got destroyed. Oscar attempts to say something, but Ernie and Bernie bound and gagged him in seaweed and threw him inside a sperm whale's mouth.
