The Sun was still warm as it began to set over the fields of tents casting grand shadows, and lanterns had began to twinkle in the twilight as Charlie glanced around him for the hundredth time.

"Relax Charlie, she'll be here" Bill laughed slapping Charlie's shoulder playfully.

No longer had the words left his mouth he saw her making her way through the tents towards them, her long brown hair pulled into a ponytail and now wearing a red wool jumper with her shorts.

"Hiya" she cried waving her hand in the air. People turned to look towards her but she ignored them, still making her way towards the tent.

"Perfect timing Arabelle we're just about to serve up some supper" Arthur cried from behind Charlie making him jump.

"Ooh lovely!" She called back.

It was either the sound of Arabelle's voice or the words of supper but the twins appeared in unison from the tent and everyone gathered round the fire saying hello to Arabelle and sat down to eat.

"Okay so..." Ginny said looking intently at Arabelle when everyone had loaded plates in their laps.

"So...where should I start?" Arabelle laughed nervously.

Immediately everyone began talking at once in classic weasley fashion.

"Where are you staying?"

"How are you back here?"

"Who were those girls you were with?"

Charlie looked around amazed by his family that no one seemed to be bothered that Arabelle had up and left them and had barely been in contact with them for almost a year.

"Why don't I start from the beginning." Arabelle said "the morning I left" she glanced over at Charlie but quickly looked back to Mr weasley. Lowering her voice she checked no one was around before she started "So I apparated to Paris. I had no muggle money and nowhere to go and it was raining like crazy over there. I ran into the nearest place I could find, this old looking run down bistro and got chatting with the equally old guy behind the bar. I told him this story of how I was traveling Europe but had fallen out with my boyfriend and had been abandoned with no money and no place to stay. I guess he felt bad for me because he gave me free food and drink and told me I could stay in one of the rooms in the hotel he owned above. I mean it was awful and cold, but I was alone, totally afraid and had nowhere to go so it was better than nothing."

"Uhh..."Bill said "that seems kind of"

"Incredibly stupid" Charlie finished. "This guy is a total stranger who is giving you free food and shelter and you don't question it."

"Well" Arabelle snapped "I wasn't exactly in a position to be questioning random acts of kindness, besides I had my wand with me so it's not like I was in a dangerous situation, anyway he turned out to be totally fine. So anyway" she turned back to the group "in the morning I was having breakfast outside when these two girls on the table opposite me, about the twins age, mentioned Beauxbatons. I wasn't sure I heard right at first, so I kept listening."

"What's beauxbatons?" Ron asked confused.

"Oh Ron" Percy sighed "it's a French magic academy school for girls" don't you know anything.

"Right so," Arabelle continued from the interruption "when I was sure they were witches I went over to their table. I told them the same story about me travelling but this time I said I didn't know any magical areas in France. Theses girls, Marcia and Juliet were great they told me they were students at beauxbatons, and how I should come along with them when they left the following week. So I stayed with Juliet's family who lived just outside of Paris and left for beauxbatons with them. I managed to get a meeting with Madame Maxine and I took a chance and told her the whole, true story of Sirius' escape and how I thought the ministry would come after me. I mean she was so good about it all, she got all excited when I told her I'd been working for Dumbledore at Hogwarts and requested for him to visit straight away. She told me she had been looking to start a class that specified in healing, for the girls, which was totally perfect for me to teach! I swear it was like fate. So when Dumbledore showed up he agreed with me that the ministry were going to try and incriminate me with sirius' escape. At first he urged me to return to Hogwarts and fight for my innocence. But I was too worried that it would put all of you in danger because he might come after any of you, I mean the man is a total nut case, I heard about him breaking into hogwarts, he's crazy. No one has any idea where he is and what he might do. I knew Harry might be one of his victims but Dumbledore assured me you'd be safe with him at Hogwarts." She said turning to look at Harry.

Harry shifted nervously in his seat at this moment but no one took any notice.

"But I told Dumbledore even if I do go back to Hogwarts I couldn't stand the constant whispering and looks I would get again. It was bad enough the first time. So Dumbledore and Madame Maxine came up with an alibi for me. They forged some papers that claimed I had transferred from Hogwarts to beauxbatons a week after term ended, placing me in France at the time of sirius' escape, with witnesses that could testify I was there the entire time."

"Hermione" Arabelle sighed "don't look at me like that I know it's illegal but I had no choice. So, yeah this contract stated that I would do a minimum of two years at beauxbatons teaching healing, and that's where I've been this year." She finished rubbing her hands on her legs and looked around at everyone anxiously waiting for a reply but no one spoke.

After a while Mr weasley broke the silence "well I think that's wonderful Arabelle I'm glad you're so happy"

She smiled widely and sighed with relief, "I swear I never thought I'd learn French that quickly" she laughed.

Charlie leaned forward in his chair "that still doesn't explain why we've had no idea where you were, why didn't you tell us you were there?"

Arabelle shifted nervously in her chair but looked directly into Charlie's eyes, pleading for him to understand "Dumbledore thought it best no one knew where I was just in case he tried to find me to finish me off like my mum. He could have tortured any of you so it was best you knew nothing."

Charlie said nothing and sat back in his chair but didn't break eye contact. His stare was hard and cold. Arabelle knew he was angry with her.

"Do the girls at the school know your Sirius' daughter?" Bill asked.

"Yes, I was against telling them but Madame Maxine said that if they didn't know my name already they would soon figure it out. But we only told them I was there to teach and no questions were to be asked about my father. He's infamous all over the world after all."

"So how come you're here now, in England" Ginny asked.

"Well Dumbledore for some reason thought it was okay for me to come back, he said it would be safe because he didn't think Sirius would stay in England after escaping from Hogwarts, and apparently there's been sightings of him all over the place so for now England is safe, I was actually planning on seeing you all at the burrow after the final finished" she shrugged.

"Well I think thats enough questions for now" Mr weasley said, "how about some tea before we leave for the game?" He said getting to his feet.

"Oh I'll go make it Arthur don't worry" Arabelle cried standing up. She thought they all needed a few minutes to let the news sink in and to be honest she needed a few moments alone.

"Just one more question" Fred asked. "Those girls you're here with, are they beauxbatons students?"

"Yes Fred, a few of the girls wanted to come along to the world cup so I said I'd take them, and no I'm not going to introduce you" she laughed.

"Well that's just rude" Fred cried

"Tough." Arabelle said in her best Molly impression and headed off towards the tent.

She had just filled the kettle and put it on the hob when she heard the swishing of the tent doors open and someone moving fast towards her. She spun round to find Charlie standing in front of her, arms crossed and his eyes flashing dangerously.

Arabelle's heart sped up and her hands began to sweat and tremble.
