Disclaimer: I don't own the 2004 animated film Shark Tale and all rights goes to DreamWorks Animation SKG. Shark Tale has been one of my favorite movies since my childhood, and it still is today. I've enjoyed that movie many times since I was a kid, and I still enjoy it today. Since I love the movie so much, I decided to do a whole retelling of the movie that is called When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie with new characters, new scenes, and different dialogue, and my OC belongs to me. When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie
Chapter 12: Kidnapped
Later on that night at the Seashell Plaza, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina are now at the roof where Angie is sitting on one of the chairs and Nelson and Sabrina are sitting on one of the couches, and they are still very disappointed and heartbroken in Oscar for lying to everybody that he's a Sharkslayer which caused a rift in their friendship with them and then has escalated right after when he allowed himself to be used by Lola, and how their friendship with him is now at the risk of coming to an end since he was acting so irrationally when he allowed his lie go to his head.
They honestly don't want to end their friendship with him since they have always valued their friendship with him so much while he did the same thing. Also, Angie has always loved Oscar for who he is, and she is very jealous of his relationship with Lola which made her feel undervalued as well as Nelson and Sabrina, and they were right to be suspicious about Lola since she was only manipulating Oscar to become famous alongside him. They begin staring at the gifts he gave them the other night, and they begin remembering the good times they had with him before their friendship with him became strained when he became a sham.
They remember the time when they worked together to babysit young troublesome jellyfish quintuplets when their parents were out, played some basketball with each other at a basketball court, and had a picnic together at Ripple Park. They stopped remembering the good times they had with him, and they begin warmly embracing their gifts in depression just as they hope that he will somehow come to his senses and tell everybody the truth. Unbeknownst to them, Yvette and the three mobsters are watching them from right behind the ledge of the roof and they are about to carry out their plan of kidnapping them. She orders them to grab them, which they proceed to do. While they are being very depressed, they appear from right behind them and suddenly grab them in their fins which caused them to be filled with surprise and shock while they kept holding on to their gifts, and Yvette noticed them getting grabbed by them and began smiling sadistically.
"Good work, guys. You've got them." said Yvette. "Before we could carry out the next part of the plan, I'm gonna ask them some questions of what he needed to know about them."
"Alright, Yvette." said great white shark mobster #1. He removes his fin off of Angie's mouth.
"What's…What'sWhat's going on?" asked Angie in fear.
"Oh, you three are coming with us to the RMS Titanic." explained Yvette.
"Why? Why are you gonna take us back to the RMS Titanic?" asked Nelson. "That's where the great white shark mafia lives."
"'Cause the crime boss of the great white shark mafia Don Edward Lino is expecting you three." explained Yvette.
"Why is Don Lino expecting us? Why is he expecting us?" asked Sabrina. "That is what we would like to know."
"'Cause you're gonna be used as bait to lure the Sharkslayer so he could take him out." explained Yvette. "Also, may I ask you some questions? What are your names?"
"My name is Angie. That's Nelson and that's Sabrina." said Angie.
"Here's another question I'm gonna ask you three." said Yvette. "Since you three are Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina, you must be the Sharkslayer's best friends and you must've been his best friends for a very long time. Is that true?"
"Well, since you've asked that question, the answer is yes," said Sabrina. "Yes, we are his best friends.
"Alright. Oh, and here's the last question." said Yvette. "If you really are Angie, then you must have feelings for the Sharkslayer. Do you have feelings for him? Do you? Are you in love with the Sharkslayer? Are you?"
"Actually, I am in love with him, and I've always been." said Angie.
"We found you guys." said Yvette. "We've been looking for you three, and it turns out that you're the ones we've been looking for. You're coming with us right now."
Angie gasped in complete shock. "Wait a minute! We're not going anywhere with you guys! It's not gonna happen!"
"Oh, yes you are!" exclaimed Yvette. "Our boss is expecting you three, and you're gonna be brought to him!"
"Well, if you want us, you gotta catch us first!" exclaimed Angie.
Then, Oscar's three best friends quickly manage to get out of each of the mobsters' grasp, and they begin swimming away in order to escape from them. Yvette sends the three mobsters to go after them, which they do so, and they begin chasing them throughout the neighborhood. Soon, they arrive in an alley where they begin hiding from them right behind a dumpster, but Angie accidentally coughs, and they manage to find them and grab them again. They bring them back to Yvette, and they proceed to go to the RMS Titanic while they are very frightened. Also, they can't believe that the consequences of Oscar's great white lie gave Don Lino the idea to kidnap them since they are his best friends, and even though they are still very disappointed in him, they honestly don't want Don Lino to hurt him.
Back at the RMS Titanic during nighttime, Don Lino is waiting for Yvette and the three members of his mafia to bring Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina to him along with Luca at the deck, and he still hopes that Yvette hasn't failed on doing so. Soon, he and Luca notices her and the three mobsters bring Oscar's three best friends, much to his delight while they stare at him in complete fear.
"Boss, look what we've brought." said Yvette. "It's Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina just like you've been expecting."
"I can see that," said Don Lino. "So, are you sure these are the three fish I've hoped for?"
"Yes, I did, Boss," replied Yvette. "I'm absolutely sure about that."
"Alright. Good work on bringing these three to me, Yvette." said Don Lino. "You didn't fail me at all."
"Thank you very much." said Yvette
"Hooray! Hooray! Yvette did it! She did it! She did it!" cheered Luca.
Yvette groaned in annoyance. "Alright, Luca, alright. I did it. For Pete's sake."
"That's right, Luca, you really didn't need to do it all." said Don Lino. He then groaned in annoyance.
"Oh. Sorry about that. I just got excited, that's all." said Luca just as he chuckled.
"Since that you've managed to bring me Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina, it's now time for me to use them on what I've planned to use them for." said Don Lino just as he began smiling sadistically at the captive Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina. "I'm gonna use these three as bait so I could lure the Sharkslayer and get my revenge on him. He's gonna feel how I felt when I lost the ones that I love and care about so much. But first, I'm gonna have an interrogation with them about how they know about the Sharkslayer so far and how Angie has always been in love with him. Now let's take them to my office."
Don Lino and his two henchmen then began heading inside while three mobsters followed them and still had Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina in their grasps so they Don Lino could interrogate them about the Sharkslayer and Angie's love which is part of his vengeful plan while they are still very terrified and Angie is very surprised and shocked that the other reason why he kidnapped them is how he has always had romantic feelings for Oscar. Unbeknownst to them, Lola has already saw Don Lino kidnap Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina, and she proceeds to reveal himself to him and inform him that she was the one who sent him the letter so she could get revenge on Oscar which is out of pettiness right after he saw her true colors just as she went through a nearby window that has been left open.
Soon, they arrive at the office, and Don Lino sits behind his desk while the three mobsters put Oscar's three best friends on three chairs that are right in front of the desk while Luca and Yvette sit at the couch, and Don Lin proceeds to interrogate them and they look very frightened.
"Well, you three must be Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina." said Don Lino. "You must've been the Sharkslayer's best friends for a very long time, and I'm very curious about something. How long have you had a friendship with him? A year? Two years? Three years?"
"Actually, we've been best friends with him for years, and we've always been best friends with him since childhood," said Angie.
"It's very interesting to learn that you've been best best friends since you were kids," said Don Lino. "Oh, and I guess Angie must be the one the Sharkslayer has feelings for and you must feel the same way about him. Do you?"
"Yes, I am in love with him, and I honestly don't know if he loves me," said Angie. "Maybe...Maybe he does have feelings for me, and that's all I know so far."
"Alright," said Don Lino. "So, I've been expecting you three, and now that I have you, I'm gonna use you as bait so I could lure him and get my revenge on him. Oh, and by the way, is there anything else you know about him so far?"
Upon hearing that Don Lino would like to know about the Sharkslayer which is Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina just stared at him in complete fear while they already know if they tell him, then it would end up putting him in danger and they honestly don't want him to harm him. In order to prevent it, they attempt to pretend that they don't know much about him.
"Well, he is the best friend that anybody could ever ask for," said Nelson.
"He has always valued his friendship with us so much." said Sabrina.
"He has supported us and been there for us. And he cares about us so much." said Angie.
"But is there anything else you know about him?" asked Don Lino. "You've already told me about your friendship with him, and I wanna know more about him."
"Um…Well…We don't know more about him," said Angie.
"Wait a minute? You three don't?" asked Don Lino in surprise.
"No." said Angie.
"But you three must know anything more about him." asked Don Lino. "What are his daily routines?"
"We don't know," said Nelson.
"What has he been experiencing in the reef?" asked Don Lino.
"We don't know," said Sabrina.
"Oh, is that true?" asked Don Lino.
"Mmm-hmm. Sorry about that, Lino, but we've only told you but we've known about him so far." said Angie.
Don Lino soon became very frustrated that they don't know about the Sharkslayer that much while he continued interrogating them, and they are secretly delighted that they've managed to pretend to know about him in order to keep him safe. However, he suddenly figures out that they've been pretending to know him that much in order to protect him while Luca and Yvette figured out the same thing which caused their expressions to become very nervous.
"Hey, Boss, we know what those three are trying to pull off," said Luca.
"The whole reason why they are saying that they don't know much about the Sharkslayer is because they are just faking it." said Yvette.
"I already know that, Luca and Yvette." said Don Lino. "They're doing a ruse. Nice try for the charade, you three, but it's not gonna work."
"Alright, alright, alright." said Angie. "We admit it. We were only pretending that we don't know much about him."
"I knew it. Oh, and you were trying to protect him from me." said Don Lino.
"That's right." said Angie." Look, he's our best friend no matter what, and we're not gonna sit by and let you hurt him. We know very much about him, and we're not gonna tell you anything that much. So, you can forget about it."
"So, let me get this straight," said Don Lino. "You three are not gonna tell me anything that you know about the Sharkslayer because he's your best friend, and you're not gonna let me hurt him?"
"Yeah." said Angie.
Don Lino growled in anger that Oscar's three best friends had refused to tell him what they know much about the Sharkslayer in an attempt to keep him safe, and Luca and Yvette became angered as well. However, he suddenly smiles sadistically at them just as he decides to proceed with carrying out his plan to get revenge on him and have them locked up.
"Well, that's alright." said Don Lino. "I guess that you three are not gonna tell me what you know much about him, then I'm just gonna go to the fun part of my plan, and that is using you three as bait in order to lure him, but it's gonna have to wait until tomorrow." He turned to Luca and Yvette. "Luca, Yvette, take them away."
Luca and Yvette get up from the couch and they grab Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina from the chairs they're sitting on. Luca grabs Angie in one of his tentacles and Yvette grabs Nelson and Sabrina in her fins, and they proceed to take them away under Don Lino's orders. While they do so, they both quickly notice they're still holding on to the gifts Oscar gave them which caused them to become very surprised while Don Lino noticed their gifts and became greatly surprised as well. Suddenly, he quickly learns that they've been given to them by the Sharkslayer, and gets another idea to use their gifts in order to lure them just as he takes their gifts away from them, much to their surprise and shock. His two minions carry them out of the office and take them away, and Don Lino puts their gifts right on his desk just as he begins smiling at them sadistically.
Later on that night, Don Lino's two henchmen arrive at one of the rooms along with the captive Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina, and they open the door and it reveals that the room is empty, dark, and decrepit, much to the shock of Oscar's three best friends. They throw them inside, and they imprison them by locking the door. They became even more terrified than before, and they still couldn't believe that they had been kidnapped by Don Lino, which is part of the consequences of Oscar's lie while they began fearing for his safety. Also, even though they are disappointed in him, they still care about him very much and hope that he will eventually tell the truth right after he will somehow come to his senses. Also, Angie begins to wonder if Oscar does really have feelings for her.
"Oh, guys, this is terrible," said Nelson. "We've been kidnapped by Don Lino so he could use us as bait, but we already know that Oscar is only just pretending to be the Sharkslayer and he's just a sham."
"It's absolutely crazy," said Sabrina. "Thanks to Oscar's lies, it gave him the idea to kidnap us, and he's the one who got us into this mess."
"But even though his con has gotten us into this situation, it couldn't have really been his fault." said Angie. "Don Lino doesn't even know that we are Oscar's best friends and I've always been in love with Oscar. Somebody must've told him all about him, and we'll eventually figure it out somehow."
"Also, we're still very angry with Oscar for what he did," said Nelson.
"Even though we are still very angry with him for lying to everybody, we are still his best friends." said Sabrina.
"Right after Oscar has become a fake, Don Lino is now after him and wants to get revenge on him for killing his two sons." said Angie. "But we already know that Oscar never did it and has lied all about it. We attempted not to tell him what we knew much about him so we could protect him, and we don't want him to be in danger. Also, he said that he's in love with me and I honestly don't know that for sure. Maybe he does love me. I hope I'll eventually find out sooner or later, and we hope that he'll be okay and will tell everybody the truth."
Nelson and Sabrina nodded their heads in agreement, and Oscar's three best friends sat down on the floor just as they are still very terrified that they are now being held hostage by Don Lino, which is part of his plan to get revenge on him. They are now very angry with him that the consequences of his Sharkslayer scam got them kidnapped by him, but it wasn't really his fault since he doesn't know them and somebody must've told him about them, and they still care about him no matter what and value their friendship with him so much. Also, they hope that he will do the right thing and tell the truth, and Angie begins wondering if Oscar does have feelings for her while Nelson and Sabrina wonder the same thing.
Meanwhile, back at the office, Don Lino is still sitting at his desk and staring at Oscar's three best friends' gifts on his desk just as he was still very delighted that he has managed to kidnap them, and he begin wondering how he will use them as bait in order to lure them just as he realizes that he needs a good idea to do so. Suddenly, his two henchmen arrive back at his office and they notice Lola enters the office, and she is smiling sadistically just as they became filled with surprise and began wondering who she is as well as how she got in the RMS Titanic.
"Who the heck are you?" asked Don Lino.
"My name is Lola." Lola introduced herself. "I'm the one who sent you that letter, Don Lino."
"Wait a minute. You're Lola, and you sent me that letter from earlier?" asked Don Lino. Lola nodded her head. "Then, you're the one who gave me the idea to kidnap Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina."
"That's right." said Lola. "Also, I can help you out with how you can take out the Sharkslayer by using those three as bait. How about inviting him to a sit-down? That can work."
"But why did you send me that letter, and why are you deciding to help me out anyway?" asked Don Lino.
"'Cause I wanna get revenge on him," said Lola. "He did something to me that made me so angry, and it was the end of our relationship. I wouldn't accept anybody breaking up with me, and he has made a mistake to choose me over Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina even after all I've done for him. So, since he broke up with me, I wanna teach him a harsh lesson and I've decided to make a deal with you too."
"So, you wanna get revenge on the Sharkslayer because he broke up with you?" asked Don Lino. "And you've decided to make a deal with me because of it?"
"That's right." said Lola. "Also, I'll join your great white shark mafia and become your partner-in-crime if you agree on the deal. So, what do you say, Don Lino? What do you say?"
Don Lino is very surprised that Lola has made a deal with him that she will agree to help him out by using Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina. He stared at her for a moment, and then he decides to make a deal with Lola so he could manage to get his revenge on him even though he already knows it's petty and immature for her to being unable to accept the end of a relationship, and his two henchmen agrees on the deal as well.
"Alright. It's a deal." said Don Lino. "I'll agree to it as long as you keep your part of the deal. You're now a member of my mafia, and you're now my partner-in-crime. Now let's continue with this whole plan. Also, thank you very much for giving me the idea to kidnap the ones he cares about so much, Lola, and I will manage to take him out somehow...with your help. The sit-down will be tomorrow,"
Then, Don Lino and Lola shook each other's fins just they make their deal, and they both proceed to work together on the plan which the sit-down is gonna be called by Don Lino and Lola is gonna be the one who will be arranging the whole thing since it was all her idea. Don Lino gives Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina's gifts to Luca and sends him to the Whale Wash to put them at the receptionist office to let the Sharkslayer know that they've been kidnapped by them in order to force a sit-down which he will be invited to attend to tomorrow, and he leaves the office and proceeds to do so.
