This is the 7th chapter. Sorry about the long delay, the reason is because I'm still working on the other two stories between 'Straw Hats Dragoon Vol 2' and 'Queen's Vampire Hunter Vol 3'. And I'm still working on them, whenever I have few hours left, I'll be working on this story before I get some sleep. So, the best option is to be patient and all the good things will come.

So anyway, these spells we're familiar for me and it's pretty much the basic which it's important to learn. Also, the spell I come up.

Comet's Spells:

1) Levitation: A spell that levitates objects.

2) Teleport: A spell that allows a pony to teleport, but only between either short or far range.

3) Banshee Scream: A spell allows a pony to scream like a Banshee, powerful enough to destroy buildings and mountains. It can also stop their enemies when hearing a loud scream. Reference of the Mortal Kombat character: Sindel.

Alright, that's all of the spells.

Anyway, on to the story, I don't own the series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Learning New Things and Closure

After the last couple of days since he arrived from magical labor, Twilight has been teaching the human turned colt, now known as Comet Stardust, about life in Equestria. He was surprised to know that the sun and moon were moved through the sky by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. And as for the weather, it was controlled by the pegasi that work for the weather division in Cloudsdale.

It was also difficult for Comet to walk around like a pony because his center of gravity was completely different when he was human before, but thanks to his recovery, he was back in perfect balance. Twilight had also kept on teaching Comet some basic magic, after he passed beginners. Twilight knew when Comet gets older, his magic will become stronger.

Mario has also been teaching him in martial arts called Toso Kune Do. He was impressed that Comet was about to learn of aura hands magic, and some basic strikes, katas, and weaponry. Mario can tell that Comet's old father taught him Okichitaw and brought somepony who knows the fighting style more than him. A pony named Wild Heart arrived at Sweet Apple Acres and taught him the basics to refresh Comet's memory. Both Mario Star and Wild Heart knew that Comet was a natural martial artist and learned well from his old father. They continued training Comet in martial arts, after he passed beginners while Twilight continued teaching him magic.

Twilight was sitting at the table, trying to read the book in front of her. But every time she tried to get some reading done, her mind wondered towards Comet, who was reading some stories that ponies around his age would read. Twilight still couldn't get the thought out of what happened a few days ago out of her head.

Few days ago, Comet had been squirming in his sleep. She had to calm the little colt down, telling him it was still going to be okay, and promised she would be there for him. But when she succeeded on calming him down, Comet said one thing in his sleep: Momma. Twilight felt bad for Comet. Comet was dealing with hardships by other members of his family, kids around his age at school, and the staff members of the school, even before he arrived in Equestria after being killed in the crossfire.

Twilight sighed and then decided to go upstairs, but not without telling Comet.

"I'll be upstairs if you need anything." Twilight said to the colt when he nodded and then, she head upstairs.

Twilight went into her room where Spike was belching out more scrolls with his green flame which he now has an upset stomach, while he was reading some comic books he had gotten before the two of them moved to the library. Although, for the time being, Twilight's parents and his brother have been writing to her non-stop, and Spike was still belching them out.

"Oh, man!" Spike said, after belching out another scroll. "That's like the 100th letter I let out from your parents or Shining Armor."

Twilight then took the letter and start reading it.

"Well, it's just my parents being concerned about this whole situation with Comet." Twilight explains with a smile. "Hopefully, when they meet Comet, they'll know why I had to take him in. And not just for pregnancy reason."

Twilight then started to feel both concerned and depressed.

"Twilight?" Spike called her. "What's wrong? You look really concerned about something, but also depressed."

"Spike, I'm starting to feel bad for Comet." Twilight told him.

"Why?" Spike asked. "Is something wrong?"

"Before Comet came here to Equestria, he had a tough life as a human boy named Elijah." Twilight explains sadly. "Back in his world, Elijah's parents tried to take care him and his uncle and his aunt made it very hard on them. And he was bullied by kids around his age and getting into trouble by the staff for no reason before he met Dante, Antoine, and his gang members. Then there was the crossfire thing."

"You're right." Spike agrees, thinking about it. "Poor kid. If only there was something more we could do for him. Oh, boy. This is going to get confusing, I can feel it. He's basically stuck here for the rest of his life."

"Or longer." Twilight said. "He's a unicorn, just like me, Mario, and Rarity, but the Maternity flower sprayed the pollen on my face and got me pregnant, until I gave birth to him, before his spirit took over. I'm feeling worried, meaning he won't accept here in Equestria and try to find a way back."

"Oh, right." Spike said. "But why are you concerned for him? He wasn't originally from this world, but there is no way to change him back to his original form."

"Comet should've been with his parents by then. He made his wish before he died." Twilight points out. "I just hope that Comet will adjust well. But the sad thing is he basically can't go back to his original form. He originally died during the crossfire by getting shot between the heart and the liver."

"Gosh...What are you gonna do?" Spike asked.

"I don't know, Spike." Twilight said, sighed sadly. "But Comet needs somepony to watch over him. He needs somepony to love him, take care of him. But nopony besides us will see him for who he is on the inside, but mistakenly get confused of his colors."

"Twilight, you're not thinking what I think you're thinking, are you?" Spike asked, starting to get the idea of what Twilight's planning.

"I'm going to need some time to think about it." Twilight said, sighed. "And I might need some help from a few other ponies I know before I make a decision."

"Probably a good idea." Spike agrees.

Twilight nodded and then headed back downstairs to see Comet looking out of the window while reading the books. Twilight then walked over to him.

"Whatcha reading, Comet?" Twilight asked.

"Just one of those children's books you got me, Twilight." Comet said.

"Still trying to fit in, huh?" Twilight asked, earned a nod from Comet before she smiled motherly. "It's okay, sweetheart. Your old parents would understand. They probably would've wanted what's best for you, except for what your old uncle and aunt did. I'm sure they would want you to be happy."

Twilight then leaned her head and kissed Comet on the forehead.

"I'll even make sure of that." Twilight said.

Comet then nodded, before he looked down, feeling a bit lost.

"Feeling a bit lost in here, are you?" Twilight asked.

"I am." Comet nods. "I'm just trying to find out what path takes me, but at least it's not with Uncle Alonzo or Aunt Giovanna. They made mine and my parents life harder ever since they became a mafia. Even kids around my age and the staff members of the school in Brooklyn treated me horribly."

Twilight pulled Comet in for a hug.

"I promise that will never happen again." Twilight said with a smile.

Comet embraced the hug, wrapped his forelegs around Twilight's chest.

"Thank you, Twilight." Comet thanked her with a smile, but sighed sadly.

"Everything's going to be okay, Comet." Twilight assures. "I know you missed your parents. But, at least you get to see them one last time before you go."

"Yeah, I know." Comet said. "I just hope they'll be happy and get a chance to have a good life while remembering me. My uncle, aunt, even kids around my age treated me and my parents terribly."

"Well, you won't have to worry about that anymore." Twilight said. "I promise you that I'll make sure that you'll have a good life with a clean slate, just like your parents. And if there's somepony troubling you, make sure you have good friends with you to help you out. It's the least you could do, since Apple Bloom cares about you."

Comet nodded and then they both continued the hug.

The next morning, Twilight Sparkle had woken up early and started writing the letter to Princess Celestia. She decided to let Comet sleep in her bed once again because the poor colt was having another nightmare as he slept. She said that he's been having nightmares ever since he, as Elijah the human, was shot. But every time Twilight calmed him down as he slept, the colt had stopped having the nightmares. The colt stayed close to Twilight through the remainder of the nights, and Twilight was now getting the feeling that Comet was starting to see Twilight more than just a caretaker.

Dear Princess Celestia,

For the past few days, things have been going fine with Comet Stardust. The ponies of Ponyville have accepted Comet as a colt that resembles me and have been getting to know him a little bit, probably because of the stroll around town I took him a few days ago. And all things considerate, Comet has been a wonderful guest, even if he is still considered an abused family member from another world.

But I'm writing to you because...I've been doing a lot of thinking, and...if it's alright with you, your sister, and maybe my friends, I was considering Comet to my family, if there's anypony I know around, but before I make a decision, I'm gonna need to have a talk with my family, seeing what they think before I make this decision. But, I'm afraid that if I bring him in to the train station, he might react nervously like how his relatives and foals treated him, or the other way around because of the ponies of Canterlot, so I plan to take care of this myself in order to get me, Spike, and Comet to Canterlot.

Your faithful student,

Twilight Sparkle

After Twilight finished writing the letter, she headed downstairs, quietly, so not to wake up Spike or Comet, and she took the letter she was writing with her. She headed down to the kitchen, and sat at the kitchen table. Twilight sighed and looked out of the window. A few moments later, Spike came into the kitchen, rubbing his right eye with his hand.

"Twilight?" Spike called her, earned her attention as he yawned. "Is something bothering you?"

"Actually Spike, there is." Twilight replied. "How would you feel...if we had added Comet...as part of the family?"

Spike then looked away, crossed his arms with a ponder.

"Well, he hasn't done anything but read, learn magic, learn martial arts, and hang out with Applejack's sister most of the time." Spike told her. "Nothing seems to be wrong with him, except for his hard life. But, why do you ask?"

"I'm thinking about introducing him to my relatives, including my parents, but since by brother's probably not available." Twilight replied. "But, I need a little more support on this before I make this decision."

"Are you sure about that, Twi?" Spike asked.

"Spike, Comet needs a loving family, and the two of his parents loved him very much with two people made things much harder for them, and cause a conflict between his parents and his friends, and it tore him apart, having him running away from home and die in the crossfire." Twilight said. "We should be able to give him the family he deserves."

Spike looked away for a bit, thinking about something, but his expression turns into a slyly smirking smug on his face.

"This wouldn't happen to be the fact that he called you 'Momma' in his sleep, does it?" Spike asked, earned a nod from her.

"A foal needs a loving mother." Twilight told him as she levitates the letter and gave it to Spike. "Send this letter to Princess Celestia. And then later, we'll head up to Canterlot."

"Sure." Spike confirms, before blowing a green flame on the letter, sending it to Princess Celestia. He then reached for something, pulls out a ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala. "I'm surprised you want to head to Canterlot so long before the Grand Galloping Gala."

"I know, Spike." Twilight said. "But things like this are a lot more important right now than the Grand Galloping Gala."

"Well, we'll just have to..."

Before Spike could finish his sentence, he heard a rumbling in his stomach, puffed his cheeks, and then let out a belch with green flames transforming into a scroll, then lands on his claws.

"I was going to say wait until we get a response for the Princess, but I guess that counts." Spike said when Twilight shook her head.

"Open it and read it." Twilight instructs him.

Spike unrolled the scroll and read it outloud:

Dearest Twilight,

I'll be sure to make sure that the ponies of Equestria will know about Comet who he truly is, and how he ended up from a Maternity Flower sprayed a pollen on you, before you're in a magical labor. I am also glad that you want to introduce Comet to your family, and get them to know him as well. And I am very proud that you want to take the initiative to take full responsibility of Comet Stardust. Of course, you would have to let your family know and make sure they will be okay with Comet being a part of the family. You have come a long way from the pony you were before I sent you to Ponyville, and I am absolutely proud of you for that. And if your family is okay with the decision and agrees with it, feel free to tell him the truth because he deserves to know everything. Also, I will send down a royal chariot to come pick up you, Spike, and Comet up, along with your friends, by 10:00 AM.

Signed, your teacher

Princess Celestia

"Good, good." Twilight said. "We'll just wait until 8:00, and we'll go get the girls, and Mario. And maybe have them meet Mom and Dad as well."

"Good thinking, Twilight." Spike agrees. "To make things more comfortable for him to have your friends by your side."

Twilight nodded, but then something caught her ears above, causing her to sigh.

"Comet must be having another nightmare." Twilight said. "I better go comfort him. We really need to find a way to get him to have peaceful dreams."

"I hope that Comet will stop when you tell him." Spike said, earned a nod from her.

Twilight went back onto the bed and sat down on her haunches, and then pulled Comet into a hug.

"Everything's going to be okay, Comet. I'll make sure of it." Twilight said gently, soothing him.

Comet snuggled closer to Twilight, and started to calm down. She then started humming a soothing tune to make Comet have more of a peaceful dream. Twilight then kissed his forehead as Comet snuggled against her, and Twilight looked out of the window to see the sun beginning to rise.

In the dream realm, Comet, or at the moment in his dream, Elijah, was walking through the hallway full of doors. He had no idea where he was. Elijah then started looking in one door and saw something he wasn't expecting. His parents.

"Elijah." His mother said.

"Mom? Dad?" Elijah asked.

"Elijah...why haven't you come home?" His father asked angrily. "Why did you ran away?"

"What?" Elijah asked. "But...I..."

"You were supposed to be home few days ago." His mother said. "My brother was right. You should be in the mafia, maybe now you'll learn a thing or two about fighting back."

"Let's take him to Alonzo's house." His father said. "He's a disgrace to my tribe."

Elijah looked towards his right and there was a wall mirror. But there, on the mirror, instead of him as Elijah, it was him as Comet Stardust.

"No!" Comet said, trying to run up to his parents, but losing his balance. "Mom! Dad! Please!"

"He's always been chatty, is he?" His father asked.

"Yes." His mother nods. "Alonzo, Giovanna, why don't you handle this?"

Comet turned his head towards his left and there was his aunt Giovanna and his uncle Alonzo, dressed as the Italian Mafia with some meat cleavers.

"Perhaps this'll stop him talking." Alonzo said.

"And when we're done with him, we'll fancy ourselves some pony meat tonight." Giovanna said.

"N-No...No!" Comet shouts with horror.

Comet then tried to run away, but then he felt his tail grabbed. Comet turned his head and saw that Alonzo had him by the tail.

"L-Let me go!" Comet protests.

"I'm sorry. I can't understand you." Alonzo said with a sneer. "Horses aren't supposed to talk at all."

Comet tried to use his magic, but he was too frightened as he quickly closed his eyes. But then he felt his tail being released, and he opened his eyes, took off running. Then, he bumped into something soft. When he looked up at what he bumped into, he was surprised to see that it's Princess Luna.

"P-Princess Luna?" Comet said surprisingly.

"Hello, Comet." Princess Luna greets. "We see that thou art having a terrible dream."

"A dream." Comet repeats. "It almost felt like it's real, but it's not."

"Thou shall not worry." Princess Luna assures. "Twilight is here next to you. She was there to comfort thou in your sleep ever since you've been having nightmares."

Comet then sighed sadly, thinking about his parents and his friends.

"What is wrong?" Princess Luna asked.

"I...I miss my parents and...my friends." Comet told him. "They wanted what was best for me. We've been having a very hard life in Brooklyn."

"We know, Comet." Princess Luna said. "But thou should know that both your parents and your friends loved you. Although Twilight Sparkle knows that thou are in need of a good family. Thou art lucky to have her as a mother. Even if thou aren't accepting it, yet."

"I...I don't know." Comet said, started to shed in tears. "Twilight is a nice pony. But, I'm not sure I should start calling her 'Mom'. I..I miss them...And I feel so lost."

Princess Luna can understand as she pulled him in for a hug with a smile.

"Tis okay, Comet Stardust." Princess Luna assures him. "I'm sure that things shall be better for thou."

Comet then hugged her back, and cried into her chest fur. Unbeknownst, he was going to wake up in that same position.

Comet was waking up, hugging something. As he opened his eyes, he saw that his cheek was against something that has the same color as his. He looked up and saw Twilight sitting there, next to him.

"Are you okay, Comet?" Twilight asked.

"I...I miss my parents...and my friends." Comet said sadly.

"I know." Twilight said. "But, they will always love you, wherever you are. You are a good little colt who needs a loving family. One better than what happened the last time."

She then looks at the clock, telling her it's time.

"We should go, we're heading to Canterlot today. We'll have the girls and Mario meet up at the Golden Oak Library." Twilight told him. "The royal chariot is coming to pick us up at 10:00."

Comet nods in confirm when Twilight kissed him on the forehead.

"You're such a sweet little colt. I promise that you not end up in that state ever again." Twilight said with a smile, earned a nod from Comet.

"I'm glad you took me in. I'm...lucky to have someone like you..." Comet said with a smile, and Twilight nuzzled his cheek.

She then used her magic to grab Comet, placed him on her back. She then heads downstairs, headed for the door until Comet mumbled something.

"Momma..." Comet said.

That word made Twilight Sparkle freeze. She turned towards Comet, letting out a motherly smile on her face. She then turns back at the door as Twilight, Comet, and Spike left the library.

The next morning, Twilight and Comet were waiting for the royal chariot to arrive outside the Golden Oak Library. Comet was feeling a little nervous to be outside, but he tried to calm down a little. He stuck close to Twilight, which she accepted.

Spike arrived with Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Mario Star, and a whole lot of luggage that Rarity insisted on bringing. Spike was having trouble keeping the stuff balanced. He was carrying at least 20 bags.

"I thought I told you to tell the girls and Mario to pack light." Twilight told the baby dragon.

"I...I did." Spike protests, dropping the bags and panting heavily. "Most of...Most of this...this stuff is all Rarity's."

"We all packed one bag, but Rarity insisted on packing a lot of things." Rainbow Dash said, crossing her hooves.

"It took only half an hour just for her to pack her own essentials." Mario Star adds with a scowl. "I tried to tell her she needs to pack light, but no, she won't listen to any reason."

"Rarity, ya really should know how ta pack light." Applejack told her with a glare.

"Oh, dear Applejack." Rarity remarked. "We are going to Canterlot! A place full of high dignitaries and sophistication. I will not be known as unsophisticated pony with no style and manners."

Applejack was eating an apple at the time while looking at Rarity with an unamused expression on her face, and then she belched out.

"Exactly." Rarity finished her sentence, causing Applejack to sigh angrily.

Just then, two pegasus guards came down with a royal chariots, but they saw a lot of bags. One of them groans and said.

"The Princess said to pick some guests and escort them to Canterlot, and have them pack light. That...doesn't seem light."

"Told ya/you." Applejack and Mario said to Rarity, making her grumble.

"Rarity, just pack stuff for a small visit." Twilight suggests. "We're only going to be gone for two days."

"Fine." Rarity said with a sigh of defeat.

Rarity then started unpacking her bags, and started filling one bag with what the others were bringing. Comet didn't bring all that much because he didn't have any things. As soon as Rarity finished, and put her luggage of leftover stuff inside the library until they get back, they all got onto the royal chariots.

"Alright, sirs. We're ready." Twilight said.

The royal pegasus guards nodded and started running, and took off into the sky, heading towards Canterlot.

The Pegasus Guards dropped off Twilight, her friends, Spike, and Comet as the place Twilight and Spike used to live before Princess Celestia gave them an assignment in Ponyville. Twilight heads for the door and opened it up.

"And this...is where I used to live." Twilight said, showing the others the place which it got the girls, except Mario and Spike, were amazed by how big it was.

"This...was your old home?!" Rarity exclaims. "It's so...big!"

"Yeah, Twi." Rainbow Dash said, looking around. "This place is just about twice as big as the library in Ponyville."

"Could ya really afford a place like this?" Applejack asks.

"Well, I didn't really buy it." Twilight told her. "Princess Celestia just gave me this place for my studies."

"Wow!" Pinkie Pie exclaims. "I've never seen so many books! It's almost like the library!"

"Wait until you see the library here, or the Canterlot Archives." Twilight said.

Comet caught something in his sight, and saw a book under the stool. He lowered himself, reached under the stool, and pulled the book. He then read the book cover out loud.

'Perfection: The Impossible Pursuit.'

Spike walked over towards it and picked it up.

"Huh, I didn't think Twilight had a copy of this book." Spike said as he then opened it and inside was a library card. He then checked the check in date and said. "Uh oh! Twilight! This book has to go back to the Castle Library by noon today!"

"WHAT?!" Twilight shouted, teleported towards Spike. She then checked the card. "Oh no! I got to get this book to the library as quick as possible!"

"You know what, I'll take it there." Spike suggested. "You go to your parents' house while I take this book to the library. I'll meet up you guys at your parents' house."

Spike then headed out of the door, taking the book with him.

"Thank you for that, Comet." Twilight said with a smile, looked down at the colt. "I always return my books to the Canterlot Library. Which is why I was the 'Best Book Borrower' there."

"Yeah, like that's a real thing." Rainbow Dash scoffed.

"Oh, it is." Twilight said. "They even have a picture to the pony who has the best borrowing of a library book by the check out desk."

Rainbow Dash widens her eyes at that statement, but then she shut it, did a facehoof, and groaned.

"You're such an egghead." Rainbow Dash said with annoyance.

"Whoa." Comet said surprisingly, looking at the hourglass. "That's a big hourglass."

"Yes. Yes it is." Twilight confirms, walk towards Comet.

"How much did that thing cost?" Comet asked.

"Don't know." Twilight said. "It was actually here when I moved in. Alright, everypony, leave your stuff here, and then we'll get to unpack tonight."

"So, where are we heading?" Pinkie Pie asked excitedly. "The castle?! The opera house?! Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns?!"

"Nope." Twilight answered with a giggle, shook her head. "We're going over to the housing complex where my parents are living. Spike also said he'll meet us there. So, we should get going right now."

They then continued on towards the housing district of the city of Canterlot, with Comet walk beside Twilight so he won't get lost along the way.

Meanwhile, Spike rushed through the doors of the Canterlot Library, heading towards the desk where an old mare was sitting there. She saw Spike coming towards her. Spike jumped onto the desk, out of breath, trying to speak.

She has a lavender fur coat with light pale pink mane and tail with white streak, and light amber eyes. Her cutie mark was an open book with dust.

"I'm...here to...return...this...library...book..." Spike said, panting heavily as he then fell on his back while holding the book.

The old mare took it in her hoof, adjusting her glasses and read it.

"I take it that Twilight brought this book with her to where she was for the past few days?" She asked.

"Not...exactly...Dusty...Pages..." Spike said, trying to get his breath back. He then inhaled as big as he can, and let out a relaxed exhale. "We found the book under a stool back where we were living before we moved to Ponyville."

"Ponyville?" Dusty Pages repeats, then realized it. "Oh, that's where the Summer Sun Celebration was being held this year. The Princess said that Twilight Sparkle has found a unicorn colt that resembles her and is taking care of him now, is that true?"

"Yes, but technically, Twilight's DNA matched with the colt's but his spirit was somepony else's." Spike explains. "Turns out, Twilight was in a magical labor by that magic flower, but only somepony who has a dying wish. He was a completely different species who came from another world, but in a brink of death and made his final wish before he passed away. He was reborn into a unicorn colt that's the exact age."

Dusty Pages breathed out in relief that it wasn't a threat.

"Well, as long as other ponies don't do any harm to the colt." Dusty Pages said as she then leans close to Spike's ear, whispering to him. "Well, as long as you're here, I'd like you to give a message to Twilight."

The group arrived at a house in Canterlot. Twilight walked up towards the door and knocked on the door. Soon, the door opened and standing there was a unicorn stallion named Night Light.

He has a grayish azure fur coat with dark phthalo blue mane and tail, and moderate amber eyes. His cutie mark was a yellow waxing crescent moon with a smaller white wanning crescent moon inside.

"Twilight?" Night Light said surprisingly.

"Hi, dad." Twilight greets with a smile. "How have you been doing?"

"Get in here." Night Light said, pulling her for a hug. He then noticed Mario Star. "Mario Star."

"Hi, Night Light." Mario Star greets with a smile, but Night Light noticed the others. "Ah, these must be the friends I heard about."

Night Light then noticed the colt behind Twilight's hind legs.

"And the Princess explained about...that little colt right there." Night Light said. "Come inside, all of you."

And with that, the group walked inside.

"Velvet, honey! They're here!" Night Light called out.

"I'm coming!" The voice of a mare named Twilight Velvet said when she arrived.

Twilight Velvet has a light gray fur coat with moderate purple mane and tail with light gray streaks, and light arctic blue eyes. Her cutie mark was three purple stars.

"Hey, mom." Twilight greets.

"Twilight! It's good to see you, sweetie!" Twilight Velvet said, hugging her daughter as well, before she saw her friends and Mario. "Mario Star! It's good to see you."

"Good to see you, Ms. Velvet." Mario greets back with a smile.

"Girls, meet my father, Night Light, and my mother, Twilight Velvet." Twilight introduces them to her friends and Comet. She then looked back at her parents. "Mom, Dad, there are my friends: Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie."

Night Light and Twilight Velvet nodded in response as Twilight then pulled Comet closer to her with her hoof, before lifting him up and holding him against her chest.

"And this little colt right here next to me is...Comet Stardust." Twilight introduces the colt.

"Well, it's nice to meet you all." Night Light said.

The girls made a pleasurable reply along with Mario Star, until Twilight looked at her parents smiling.

"What? What're you both smiling at?" Twilight questions.

"Oh, Twilight." Twilight Velvet said, smiling. "You honestly think we wouldn't get a chance to meet the new colt we heard so much, did you?"

Twilight Velvet then walked over towards Comet, who was still in Twilight's hoof. She smiled down at Comet.

"I was wondering when we would get to meet you." Twilight Velvet said.

Night Light walked up to Comet as well.

"He sure looks a lot like you, Twilight." Night Light said with a smile. "I never thought that it would be possible."

"It was really odd for me as well." Twilight replied. "But, at least he's a good colt."

"Absolutely, but I think he's just the sweetest little thing." Twilight Velvet said as she began to tickle Comet's belly with her hoof, making him giggle, and kissed him on the forehead, making him warmly smile. Twilight then put Comet down, and looked back at her parents.

"Mom, Dad? Could I talk to you both in the kitchen for a moment?" Twilight asked, leaving Twilight Velvet and Night Light nodded with a reply.

Twilight's friends and Comet were checking around the place while making themselves at home, and Spike was showing them personally, except he arrived few minutes ago as he and Mario Star stayed with Comet in case he needed comfort.

Meanwhile, Twilight on the other hoof, was talking with her parents about Comet Stardust. But after hearing her story, they felt touched by their hearts, concerned for Comet's hard life and Twilight experienced his arrival.

"So, let me get this straight, honey." Twilight Velvet said. "You went to get a book you accidentally dropped back. You then saw a dark tunnel hidden somewhere in the forest, leading to a underground maze. You went to explore it, found a Maternity Flower and got sprayed in the face. That pollen made you pregnant, making the process go in seconds, and gave birth to a colt, who has a dying wish for a better life?"

"Yep." Twilight nods. "That's why I decided about this for a few days before now."

"Are you sure you want to do this, Twilight?" Twilight Velvet asked.

"He was having a very hard life in his old world, couldn't take it when his uncle and aunt wanted him to be a part of the Italian Mafia. And then got himself involved in the crossfire while protecting his old friend, but the cost is that he was shot before arrived here in Equestria." Twilight explains. "I want to help him as much as he needs since he's still recovering. Wouldn't you do the same thing?"

Twilight Velvet and Night Light looked at each other with concern about how harshly Comet was treated, and smiled about Twilight's decision.

"Alright, Twilight." Night Light said. "We're so proud of you for wanting to take the initiative. Although...it feels like you're doing things out of order."

"I know." Twilight said, turns to Comet. "But, a colt like Comet needs a loving family. I'm gonna be the pony who's gonna give it to him."

Just then, her stomach growled as she blushed in embarrassment.

"Haven't had anything to eat since breakfast?" Night Light asked, causing Twilight Sparkle to laugh nervously.

"That's okay, Twilight." Twilight Velvet said. "In fact, we were just about to head out for the diner. Why don't you and your friends join us?"

Twilight looked at her friends, Spika, Mario, and Comet. She then looked back at her parents and nodded as they were going out for lunch.

The Mane 6, Mario Star, Twilight's parents, Spike, and Comet were walking through a certain part of the city of Canterlot. Rarity was amazed by all of the restaurants here.

"This row of restaurants is astonishing!" Rarity said. "Each of them 3 to 5 hooves! They must have really food if it has great ratings!"

"Don't get your hopes up, Rarity." Twilight said with a scoff. "I've eaten at all of those restaurants. Believe me when I say that they charge ponies like you're going to eat more than one plate of food, but they give you three freeze-dried blocks of food not even rats would want to eat."

"Oh, Twilight." Rarity remarked, rolling her eyes. "Don't you think you're exaggerating just a bit?"

"Do you?" Mario asks with his eyebrow raised, earned her attention. "What she said is true, none of those restaurants we even tried are good. They only give food that taste like pasted paper."

Rarity couldn't help but feel offended when she was about to argue, they got surprised by a bunch of rats that came up towards a 3-hoof ranked restaurant, stopped, and headed towards an alley, squeaking all the way from the restaurant to an alley.

"Um...those rats said that they were hungry...not desperate." Fluttershy said.

That made Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Mario Star, and Comet Stardust laughed. Rarity on the other hoof was surprised that rats agreed with Twilight.

"That's why we're going to a place where most ponies usually enjoy their favorites." Twilight Velvet said as they headed towards the diner.

The group walked into the diner, and everypony that was there enjoying their meals, before they stopped what they were doing and looked at the group, except only a certain unicorn colt who looked like Twilight, but in random colors that resembles her a little. Twilight saw Comet behind her hind legs, feeling uncomfortable so the ponies there wouldn't look at him, but both Fluttershy and Mario Star gave them a stern stare, asking them to leave the colt alone, before they went back into eating.

"It's okay, Comet. We're right here." Twilight said with an assuring smile, making the colt feel better.

The waitress there walked up to them.

"Can I help you?" The waitress asked.

"Table for 13." Twilight Velvet said.

The waitress looked back at Comet, who was shaking nervously with big cute puppy eyes.

"Aww...is this sweet little cutie pie with you? He's so adorable." She said, smiled at the colt.

Twilight nodded as she rubbed her hoof on Comet's head. The waitress then looked back at Twilight Velvet, and got 13 menus out.

"Right this way, everypony." The waitress said normally, as she figured out that Comet was an innocent foal, which she now didn't mind.

They were eventually escorted to a row of tables big enough for all of them to sit at. In the sitting order from left to right was Spike, Comet, Twilight Sparkle, Twilight Velvet, Night Light, Mario Star, and at the end row of tables were Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. They were all handed menus and they looked at what to order.

Later on, the group had finished their meals. Even Comet, which the waitress could now easily handle delivering the plate for him, since she still thought he was cute. But, it's a good sign. Comet couldn't believe how good a hayburger was.

"I never thought that not only a daffodil and daisy sandwich was good, but the hayburger would be so good." Comet said surprisingly. "Must be my current form's taste buds. My last form couldn't handle pony food."

"All creatures have a different kind of taste bud." Spike told him. "Dragons, for example life you said, we eat meat, but we can bite through gems like they're rock candy."

"Rock candy..." Pinkie Pie hummed, licked her lips.

"Well, I'm glad that you all enjoyed your meal." Twilight Velvet said, then got out of her seat and headed towards Comet. "You are a very good colt. You may not have been originally born a pony until now, but I know that you can be happy."

"I'm not too sure." Comet said sadly, sighed. "What if they treated me...like I'm different from them?"

"That's not true, Comet." Twilight said, pulled him into a hug. "You are a good-hearted foal who needs love. Not hatred."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. That waitress was even so nice to me." Comet said with a sigh.

"She just thought that you're just an adorable little colt, darling. Nothing else." Rarity stated.

Twilight looked at the window towards the castle, thought of an idea.

"And I know just the pony who can help." Twilight said with a smile.

"Wait...You're thinking of having Comet talk to Princess Celestia, aren't you?" Rainbow Dash asked, looked over Twilight.

"I think it's a marvelous idea, Twilight darling." Rarity said, agreeing to her suggestion.

And with that, they left the diner after paying the bits for the waitress, heading towards the castle.

The group arrived at the castle to speak with Princess Celestia. The guards let them pass as Twilight, Mario, Spike, Comet, her parents, and her friends went into the throne room to see Princess Celestia sitting there. She was expecting them.

"Hello, Twilight Sparkle and Mario Star, my faithful students." Princess Celestia greets them. "And hello to all of you."

Twilight, Mario, Spike, her family and friends bowed to her, leaving Comet Stardust standing up correctly.

"Hello, Comet Stardust." Princess Celestia greets him, looking down at the colt. "Have you been enjoying your days here in Equestria?"

"I've...I've been trying to enjoy it." Comet said, sighed sadly. "But..."

"Is something wrong, dear?" Princess Celestia asked with concern, then thought of something. "Do you miss your family?"

"I only missed my parents...and my friends." Comet said, shedding in tears. "I'm trying to find out what my new path leads me...and now...I feel so lost. Every time I tried to accept it...I just couldn't...I wish they were here...I know they wanted what's best for me, but...I don't know what to do...I just don't know if I can accept it..."

Twilight Sparkle stopped bowing, walked over to Comet, and pulled him in for a hug.

"It's okay, Comet. It's okay." Twilight said softly.

Comet hugged Twilight as she nuzzled the colt.

Princess Celestia walked over and nodded at her, meaning it was time to talk to her friends about her other problem.

"Twilight? What exactly did ya want to talk about?" Applejack asked.

"Is there something else on your mind, dear?" Rarity added.

"Girls, Mario, the reason why Princess Celestia invited you to come with me, Spike, and Comet here was because...I wrote to her about Comet's good behavior in Equestria, but there's something else." Twilight explains, turns to Comet. "Comet, there's something else I need to tell you."

"What is it, Twilight?" Comet inquires.

"Remember when we found you in the Everfree Forest?" Twilight asked, earned a nod from Comet. "Well, there's more."

"Comet, the reason why you're like this...is because when you made a wish for a better life, you passed away from a gunshot wound between the heart and the liver after sacrificing yourself to save your friend." Princess Celestia explains.

"I know, I felt those gunshots before I came here." Comet said, aware of his previous situation. "It also means that I'm never going back."

"I'm afraid so, Comet." Mario said with a sigh, walked over to Comet. "The sad thing about you is that, like the Princess said, the reason why you died after you've made a dying wish was because you were involved in the crossfire and got shot."

"It's true. Like how your abusive uncle and aunt treated you and your parents, and how those foals around age treated you, you were in a very bad situation and try to endure the hardships, but you needed somepony to help you and to give you love, until you ran away from home, got yourself involved in the crossfire and then you died." Twilight adds sadly. "It tore me apart, hearing how much you're suffered. But I didn't want you to suffer anymore since I've taken you in, because I made a promise to take care of you and that you'd have a better life."

Comet then starts sobbing lightly, as Fluttershy walked over to the colt and pulls him in for a hug along with Applejack.

"There's also another thing you should know. Come here." Twilight said as Comet walked towards her, before she lifted him up and placed him on her lap. "Remember the day when you asked me about how you get here?"

Comet confirms with a nod.

"The night you arrived, it was...unexpected...for my friends and I." Twilight told him.

"What happened?" Comet inquires.

"You see. A lot earlier I usually go to bed at night, I was on my back to the Golden Oak Library so I could help Spike finish unbox everything from my old library at Canterlot so we could move to Ponyville." Twilight explains. "When I saw a book I accidentally dropped from my saddlebags on my way back, I saw a dark tunnel in the Everfree Forest. It seems that I suddenly found a maze leading to a small Stonehenge, until I found the exact same flower and it sprayed the pollen over my face. That flower intended on making any female species pregnant. But instead of waiting for 11 months, it went by a minute. I was on my way back, but I somehow became heavily bloated in seconds until I asked Fluttershy for help before my water broke. When got to Fluttershy's cottage, my friends helped me deliver the foal. However, the foal has no color, no soul, and it was only a vessel. But then, the soul came and entered it. Your spirit."

"M-Me?" Comet asked.

"Yes. The Maternity Flower can make any female species pregnant in an instant, but only to those who made a dying wish." Mario explains. "And it seems you made a dying wish: a wish for a better life. The foal aged to the age you were when you're alive. And that's how we found you at the Castle of the Two Sisters and why you're living with Twilight and Spike."

Comet knew the pain he went through and aware of his death in his old world, but didn't realize he made the exact wish that came true and his spirit entered the vessel of a magically born pony that had no soul until one entered it. And Twilight gave birth to that foal which he now was. He didn't know until now, meaning that Twilight was his mother now. Comet could somehow feel tears coming out of the corner of his eyes. He then felt tears now coming out as he jumped onto Twilight, wrapped his forelegs around her body as best as he could.

"It's okay." Twilight told the colt, rubbing the back of his head. "I know you're aware, but Comet, you have every right to know, and I'll do my best to take of you."

"Comet." Applejack called him with a smile, earned his attention. "We know ya miss yer family, and you've been through a lot of emotional pain, too."

"And it wouldn't be fair for you to live the rest of your life without a mother, darling." Rarity adds. "We all want you to have a loving family."

"Indeed, he does."

They all turn to Princess Luna, who arrived at the throne room as she walks over to Comet.

"After we saw his dream this morning, we was able to save the little colt from his terrible nightmare." Princess Luna told them.

"What was he dreaming about?" Mario questions.

"His old relatives mistreated him and try to kill him with those axes." Princess Luna explains, causing them to gasp.

"So that's why he's having those dreams, he's thinking about his old family and friends." Twilight said, earned a nod from Princess Luna.

"But we come up with a solution after we give my sister an explanation." Princess Luna told them. "We thought that Comet Stardust make some closure for his old parents and his old friends."

Twilight and the others, except Comet, thought about it and then smiled.

"I think you're on to something, Princess Luna." Mario said. "But is it possible?"

"It is, I have the ability to control dreams of my realm." Princess Luna explains. "And I can bridge those dreams together."

"What does closure even mean anyway?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"It means bring certain things to an end, Pinkie." Mario Star explains. "In one way, he'll get to see them one last time in order to be at peace."

"OOOhhhh...Okie dokie loki." Pinkie said happily.

"But are sure about that?" Twilight questions. "I mean, for having Comet make some closure for his parents?"

"That's for Comet to decide." Princess Luna said, turns to Comet. "Comet, for what we were about to do by nightfall, we shall have your dream bridge theirs together, so you'll see them one last time."

"Why are you telling me this?" Comet asks.

"Because thou deserve to see them one last time before thou be at peace." Princess Luna answered.

"She's right, sugarcube." Applejack adds. "It ain't healthy for you to hold in much grief. Ah know you're feelin' lost right now, but yer old folks wanted what's best for you."

"Also, they don't want you to hold in grief or staying sad, they want you to happy and for you to have a good life." Mario adds with a smile. "I know it's hard to accept something new. The reason is that, you didn't get the chance to say one last goodbye before you passed away and came here."

"Mario is right, darling." Rarity adds. "It could have been unfair for you never to have a closure with them."

Comet then thought about it, knew that they're making valid points and they all want him to be happy. However, Princess Luna is given him a chance to see his parents and his friends one last time. He turns to Princess Luna, responds with a nod.

"Alright, but remember, you'll only get to see them one last time." Princess Luna told him. "By night, I will perform a spell to bridge your dream to their dreams, in order for you to see them."

Comet nods with an understanding, before leaving the throne room.

Few hours later, Twilight, Spike, and Mario are given the five girls and Comet a tour after Night Light and Twilight Velvet returned home in Canterlot while showing them around at the castle. Though, Comet Stardust stayed on Twilight's side, so he won't get lost while the others keeping a close eye on him. Twilight gives Shining Armor an explanation as to why she's here, telling him that Princess Luna is planning for Comet to have some closure in order to see his old parents and his friends one last time which it's pretty much understandable. Shining Armor even told Mario and Twilight that Princess Cadence would love to see Comet Stardust whenever she arrived in Canterlot, causing to smile while Comet was curious of who is Cadence, but he decided not to ask.

Later that night, they were at the guest rooms at the castle. Comet is sleeping next to Twilight when Princess Luna casted a spell on the little colt. Comet then found himself, standing in front of the bridge over a river. Comet was confused about this and was wondering why he's here.

"What is this?" Comet asked. "Why am I here?"

"That voice!" The man's voice said. "Mary, you don't think..."

"Wait a minute, I know that voice." The boy's voice said. "That sounded like."

"Only one way to find out." The woman's voice said.

Comet knew those voices, looked across the bridge and saw six figures that he never thought he would see them again. Seven of them looked at Comet, not knowing that Comet was actually Elijah.

"Is that...a unicorn?" Mary asked.

"I think it is." The man answered, all two figures were Comet's (as Elijah) parents while all four figures were his friends.

"M-Mom? D-Dad? D-Dante? A-Antoine?" Comet said, shedding in tears. "Marcus? Duane?"

"That...that voice." Mary said. "Elijah? Is...Is that really you?"

"Eli? Is that you, man?" Dante asked.

Comet starts shedding in some tears. He then trotted towards them, and jumped into Mary's arms, hugging her tightly.

"Mom...I...I missed you." Comet said.

"But how?" Antoine asked. "We thought you're dead, man."

"I can answer that." The voice of Princess Luna said.

They all turned their attention towards the source of the voice and saw Princess Luna walking towards them.

"Princess Luna?" Comet asked.

"I am the one responsible for bridging your dreams together." Princess Luna told them.

"No way!" Marcus exclaims. "Dude, are we in some dreamland?!"

"Bridging our dreams?" Mary repeats, widened her eyes as she looked at her husband. "Chris, are we asleep?"

"We are." Chris answered calmly. "But, I didn't think it was possible. Having dreams merging together."

"How'd you do that?" Dante asks.

"I happen to have the ability to control dreams of my realm." Princess Luna explains. "I've made sure that your son would be able to see you one last time."

"Wait...this little guy...is really Eli?" Dante asked.

"He is." Princess Luna nods. "But, he hasn't been going by that name for a while. He was literally reborn, and was given the name of Comet Stardust."

"Comet Stardust?" Duane repeats. "Is that a common thang from where y'all came from?"

"All of the names of our world are unique." Princess Luna said.

"So, you brought us here so you can reunite us with our son?" Mary asked hopefully.

"Not exactly." Princess Luna shook her head.

"It's about giving Elijah a closure, isn't it?" Chris asked, earned a nod from Princess Luna.

"D-Dad? I...I don't want you to leave me..." Comet said sadly.

"I know, Elijah." Chris said, putting a hand on Comet's back. "But, I'm sure that there are...Ponies?"

Princess responds with a nod, then looked back at Comet.

"I'm sure that there are ponies who care about you as we did." Chris told him. "But I'm also sure that they are giving you much more love than what you received from Alonzo and Giovanna."

"He's right, lil' brother. You don't have to worry about those suckas anymore." Antoine adds. "Those fools were sent to prison for everything they're done."

"And as for the kids, they felt guilty as they should be." Marcus told him. "They decided to pay a tribute to you after what you're done for us and Dante. We didn't get a chance to thank you."

"I...I wish that I could go back with you..." Comet said.

"I know, honey." Mary said before kissing Comet's forehead. "But we must accept things for how they are now."

"We will always love you, Elijah." Chris said. "I know we might not be able to see you again, but we know that you should appreciate what you've got. And we'll always be with you, in here."

Chris put a hand on Comet's chest, making him smile and gave them one last hug.

"You deserve to see your family one last time." Princess Luna said with a smile. "It's time to say goodbye to them, Comet."

"But...but can't this last a little longer?" Comet asks.

"This spell takes a lot out of my magic." Princess Luna told him. "Say goodbye to them."

Comet wished he could stay a little longer, but after what Princess Luna told the colt, it has to be done as he turns to his parents and his friends.

"I wish I had more time." Comet said sadly. "But, I'm really going to miss you."

"We're gonna miss you too, Elijah." Mary said with a sad smile. "You go on and live your new life the way you can."

"Indeed." Chris agrees. "And may the spirits guide you, son."

"Keep you spirits up and keep ya head up." Antoine said.

"We'll never forget for what you've done for us, lil' brother." Marcus said.

"And to us, you're our brother from another mother." Duane told him.

"Thanks for saving me, Eli. I wish I would've done the same for you, but I won't forget for what you did." Dante said.

Then Comet's parents hugged the colt one last time along with his friends.

"We will always love you." Mary said. "Either as Comet or Elijah, you will always be loved."

Just then, all of them started fading from where they were standing.

Comet woke up in the middle of the night. He looked around and saw Twilight wrapped her hooves around him. He then got out of the bed and headed to the balcony, thinking about his parents and his friends with a smile on his face.

"Ana, mother, father, Dante, Marcus, Antoine, Duane." Comet said, saying farewell to them.

"Comet?" Twilight called him, earned his attention. "Is everything okay?"

"Twi." The voice of Shining Armor said, opens the door. "I came to check on you two."

They noticed Comet was at the balcony when he walk towards them.

"Everything okay, Comet?" Shining Armor asked.

"Tw-Twilight? Shining Armor?" Comet asked hesitantly. "Is...Is it alright...if I...if I call you...Mom...and Uncle?"

Both Twilight and Shining Armor were a little shocked, but started giving off a faint smile with some tears coming from their eyes. They give the little colt a nod.

"Come here, Comet." Twilight and Shining Armor said.

Comet then ran up to Twilight and Shining Armor, and the three of them hugged. Little did they know, the five mares, two Princesses, and Mario were watching, smiled with tears from their eyes when they saw a heartwarming sight.

The next morning, Comet, Twilight, and Shining Armor were at Night Light and Twilight Velvet's house, reintroduced the little colt.

"Mom, Dad, say hello to your new grandson, Comet Stardust Sparkle." Twilight and Shining Armor reintroduced Comet.

Comet ran over to his new grandmother and wrapped his hooves around her chest and nuzzled with her fur, until Twilight Velvet hugged him back.

"We're honored to you part of the family, Comet." Twilight Velvet said with a smile, resting her chin on top of his head.

"I am too, Grandma." Comet said, still hugging his new grandmother.

The five mares, Mario, and Spike were watching this sight with smiles on their faces.

"At least Comet finally lets it go." Applejack said.

"I agree, Comet really must've been relieved to his parents and his friends one last time and give them a proper goodbye." Rarity agrees.

"Comet is finally accepting his new life with a new family." Mario states. "I know Twilight wouldn't want anything bad happen to him."

"Yeah, he's a good kid." Spike agrees.

"And I know Twilight would become a good mother." Fluttershy said. "He deserves to have a good family."

They all nodded with an agreement as they continue watching the sight where Comet gets to know his new grandparents and his new uncle.

That's it for the 7th chapter.

By the way, the word 'Ana' means goodbye in Powhatan language.
