'Okay girls we're almost there so get ready!' Arabelle cried over the excited chattering and giggles of the girls. ''Where is Gabrielle? Gabrielle?! Come here, where are your shoes?'.

Once all the girls were ready she pulled on her dark blue cloak and matching heels. As the coach landed on the courtyard Arabelle stood up and straightened her lace dress. She felt nerves kicking in. She hadn't returned to Hogwarts since the Azkaban breakout. She hadn't had time to write to the twins or Ron or Ginny so no one knew she was coming.

The doors to the carridge opened and Arabelle stepped out first. The cold of the night hitting her like a wave. She looked up at the castle which glowed in the darkness, a warm feeling filled her stomach. She lead the girls towards the doors of the main hall and moved behind them all as Madame Maxine barked orders in French for them to take their positions.

The doors were pulled open as the girls were announced. Arabelle strode confidently into the hall behind the girls, Madame Maxine following behind. For a few seconds she thought that no one would recognize her. Madame Maxine had strict uniform rules for her staff as well as the students. Arabelle's work wardrobe was filled with glamorous high heels, figure fitting dresses, skirts and cloaks all in different shades of blue. Crisp clean blouses and black tights. Her hair was always pulled into a high top knot paired with a bold lipstick. A million miles away from her look when she had been a student here or even during the year she had worked in the medical wing. Image was an important part of beauxbatons life. Maybe no one would realize it was her.

It took a few minutes, most of the students had their eyes fixed on the girls and the statuesque Madame Maxine. It started out as a few quiet whispers here and there, she tried to keep her eyes fixed on Dumbledore as her cheeks began to pink.

'Is that...?'

'She looks kinda like...'

'No way it can't be'

Once the candidates from Durmstrang had arrived and were seated the feast began. She had been ignoring the obvious gestures from the twins trying to get her attention but now she glanced over at them. They were beckoning her over wildly. She put down her knife and fork as fleur sat back down next to her spooning bouillabaisse on to Gabrielle's plate. I'll be right back' she said climbing off of the bench.

She ran over to the Gryffindor table and slid in between Fred and George.

'Hey guys!' she smiled brightly over at Ginny, Hermione, Harry and Ron.

'Uhh hey' said Ron dazed still glancing over to the beauxbatons table.

' Arabelle why didn't you tell us you were coming!' Ginny cried. 'I swear all the grown ups have done nothing but lie to us this summer'.

'Urm I didn't lie! I had no idea myself I was coming until the day before yesterday'

'So this means you're competing against us?' George asked.

'Kind of...I suppose'

'Well look at those girls they don't stand a chance' Ginny said sticking her nose in the air'

'Hey.' Arabelle said in a false strict tone 'be nice. Those girls are actually pretty great once you know them.'

'Well maybe you could introduce us' Fred said flashing a smile at one of the girls.

Arabelle flicked her head round 'Mylene, non, turn around' she said dangerously 'Turn. Around.'

'You too Fred. Don't you dare.'

'So Arabelle this is a pretty drastic appearance change, you look good.' Hermione smiled changing the subject.

'Oh thanks, I mean it's kinda a lot you know, but they don't do anything in halves beauxbatons. I was kinda hoping no one would recognise me.'

'Hey Arabelle!'

'Hi Lee' she replied as the twins friend Lee Jordan sat down next to George.

'Are you kidding, you and Charlie are still legends round here' Fred laughed.

'Yeah sorry Arabelle but everyone still knows exactly who you are.' Harry grinned at her.

'But now you're the enemy, so you better go back to your own school.' George laughed.

'Fine I will.' Arabelle said in mock hurt rising to her feet. 'But you guys better know my girls are tough. So watch your backs. Especially you two' she said pointing her finger at the twins. 'Stay away.'

With that she strode away back to the Ravenclaw table.
