This is the 22nd chapter. Okay, before I could begin with 'Fall Weather Friends', this chapter is where Rose Lotus and Winter Breeze began to finally accept Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie as their new mothers.
Luna's Story
Few days later after Diamond Tiara's so-called cute-ceanera, Comet, Apple Shine, Rose Lotus, and Winter Breeze have gotten to know both Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo and became friends. Though, the CMC tried to get them to become new members, they kept declining and told them they'll figure out their talents on their own. Silver Spoon was able to get to know Comet Stardust ever since they got off to a bad start because of how she treated them, like Diamond Tiara.
Zane was able to teach the students in Ponyville while helping Cheerilee which she does appreciate a helping hoof. He was calm and cool-headed, but he can be strict when some pony tried something, like Diamond try to get either one of them into trouble as usual. Zane however did remind her that she's still have detention after school and reminding her to behave if she didn't want any more additional punishment. Zane also helped Mario teach martial arts at the dojo.
Mario appreciates the help from him, and they were able to catch up.
Zane was impressed of Comet's progress in two fighting styles between Toso Kune Do and Okichitaw, but he sometimes spars with the colt which his fighting style is different. Zane's fighting style is between Jujutsu, Shurikenjutsu, and Ninjutsu. Though, Zane was able to beat him because of his calm demeanor and his fluid movements, but he did teach him to remain calm by meditation and breathing techniques.
Winter Breeze decided to enter the dojo and learn martial arts which Zane is happy to teach her. The only reason is because she was insecure and not confident, like Comet, Apple Shine, and Rose Lotus. Zane can help her with that when he taught her the basics and given the two foals some advice in fighting in self-defense. Winter Breeze may be against fighting, but she learns quickly.
While at Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie Pie and the Cakes are watching Rose Lotus is still practicing on fortune-telling and hoof-reading. Rose Lotus was able to earn some bits of her own and helping them bake. She's still learning in between fortune-telling and hoof-reading, but the gypsy filly is still needing some pony who can teach her, and she don't know who.
That changed when Mario Star introduced a mare named Saffron Masala and her father named Coriander Cumin to the gypsy filly during traveling to Canterlot, after given her an explanation. Rose Lotus decided to fortune-tell the mare, telling her a fortune between the past: The Fool tarot card, present: 3 of Pentacles tarot card (Reversed), and future: Wheel of Fortune tarot card.
Saffron Masala and Coriander Cumin were impressed of Rose's fortune-telling, and they decided to teach her after hearing of her backgrounds. Saffron then gives her the method of between fortune-telling, hoof-reading, and dancing. Saffron Masala also taught the gypsy filly of cooking the Hindu-based cuisine which it brings back of her memories, remembered of her families cooking.

Pinkie Pie was busy baking and helping the Cakes, trying to keep herself busy. But every time she tried to get the baking done, her mind wondered towards Rose Lotus, who was dancing outside. Pinkie Pie still couldn't get that thought out of what happened to the gypsy filly a year ago.
She even remembered a year ago, Rose Lotus kept crying in her sleeping and kept thinking about her old family and her people. She had been able to calm the gypsy filly down, telling her it's okay, and promised she would be there for her. Pinkie Pie was able to succeed, but she even felt worried that Rose Lotus won't be able to accept her as her new mother. Pinkie Pie felt bad for Rose Lotus. Rose Lotus had a loving family and her people in another world, but left her having a scar in her heart after watching her family and her people died in front of her, even arrived in Equestria with her body altered.
Pinkie Pie sighed and then decided to take a break from the baking. Pinkie Pie went out of the kitchen and the Cakes noticed she isn't baking treats. They noticed the look on Pinkie Pie's eyes, they can tell something is going on.
"Pinkie, is something wrong, dearie?" Mrs. Cake asks.
"I'm starting to feel bad for Rosey." Pinkie Pie answered.
"Why is that?" Mr. Cake asks. "We feel bad for Rose Lotus after she's been through a year ago."
"I know, but, before Rose came here to Equestria, she had a good life as a human girl named Penelope." Pinkie Pie explains. "Back in her world, she came from a long line of gypsies, they've done so much together. They've done so much traveling, they earned a good money, she even learned how to dance, fortune-telling, even magic. Until, the Anti-Romani took everything from her."
"You're right." Mr. Cake agrees, sighed sadly. "Poor Rose. If only there's something we can do for her, I mean, she did have a good life. Until, she was traumatized after what had just witnessed."
"And after what happened to her, she was left as an orphan and a no home to live." Mrs. Cake adds. "We were the only ones who took care of her."
"And I'm feeling worried that she won't accept me as her new mom." Pinkie Pie points. "She does accept her new life in Equestria, but not me as her mother."
"But why are you worried about her?" Mrs. Cake asks. "We all know she's not from Equestria."
"I know, but she's got nowhere to go after the massacre in her old world." Pinkie Pie points out. "Rose Lotus was able to adjust here, but she's aware that she can't go back because the mirror is broken into pieces. I'm just worried she won't accept me."
"So, what are you going to do?" Mr. Cake asks. "Rose have the love and comfort she needs."
"I don't know." Pinkie Pie said sadly, sighed. "It's just...Rose hasn't fully accepted me as her mom yet. I've done everything for her to have a better life than what she has been through in her previous life."
"Well, I guess that it'll be hard for her to accept you as her new mom." Mrs. Cake said. "Even we've got ahead of ourselves for adopting her. I just hope she'll accept you as your new mom."
"I'm just gonna need some time to think it over." Pinkie Pie suggests. "While I'm at it, I'll go check up on Rose."
"It'll be a good idea." Mr. Cake agrees.
Pinkie Pie nodded and then went outside to see Rose Lotus performing while Djali dances round the hat and prance around.
"Still earning some bits in dancing, Rose?" Pinkie Pie asks, earned a nod from her.
"I'm just hoping that I earned enough to buy a caravan and travel once I grew older." Rose Lotus said.
"Still trying to fit in?" Pinkie Pie asks, earned a nod from Rose Lotus before she smiled motherly. "It's okay, Rosey. Your old parents and your old people would understand. They wanted what's best for you, and I'm sure they want you to be happy."
Pinkie Pie then leaned and kissed Rose on the forehead.
"I'll even make sure of that." Pinkie Pie said.
Rose nods, before she looked down, but sighed sadly.
"It's going to be okay, Rose." Pinkie Pie assures. "I know you missed them, but they want you to live a good life."
"I know." Rose Lotus said. "But I just kept praying for my people to keep on living and never lose faith."
"Well, you won't have to worry about that because your people will continue to live and never lose their faith." Pinkie Pie assures. "I promise you that I'll make sure you live in a good life with a clean slate, just like your parents and your people. And if there's somepony troubles you, you can come to me or your friends. It's the least you can do, since we care about you."
Rose Lotus nodded with a smile and gives Pinkie Pie a hug.
"And Rose, I'll see if I can ask Twilight if we can go up to Canterlot tomorrow." Pinkie Pie told her. "Maybe Princess Luna will help you."
Rose Lotus nods as they break a hug, and Pinkie Pie head to the Golden Oak Library. Rose Lotus then decided to head back inside as she and Djali went into Sugarcube Corner to help the Cakes. The Cakes however, had other plans when they turned to the gypsy filly.
"Um...why are you staring at me?" Rose Lotus asks, confused. "Did I do something wrong?"
"It's not that, dearie. We were just worried that you won't accept Pinkie Pie as your new mother." Mrs. Cake answered. "Rose Lotus, we know you're working hard between here and performing to earn bits, even some pony taught you a thing or two about fortune-telling and dancing."
"And we know there's something else, besides you missed your people." Mr. Cake adds. "Is there something you want to tell us?"
"Why are you asking me?" Rose Lotus questions. "What are you getting at?"
"Because Pinkie is starting to look at you more than baking. We know there's something wrong about you two." Mr. Cake clarifies. "And we can tell you two are very close."
Rose Lotus now realizes what the Cakes are telling her, turns to Djali when he's bleating at her, telling her to tell them the truth. Rose Lotus then turned back to the Cakes, decided to come clean.
"It's just for some reason...I felt like Pinkie is more than a friend and a caregiver...I felt like I'm seeing her as my mother." Rose Lotus told them. "Ever since Pinkie Pie found me at the Everfree Forest, after me and Djali came here because of the mirror and living in Ponyville for a year, I'm seeing her as my mother."
The Cakes then confirm their suspicions: the gypsy filly is seeing Pinkie Pie as her mother. Ever since Pinkie Pie was the first pony who found her in the Everfree Forest, Rose Lotus became close to her.
"Why didn't you tell her?" Mrs. Cake asks.
"I was afraid...I was afraid if I ever tell her, then I'll be starting to think that I replaced my people." Rose Lotus explains. "I wanted to tell her, I do, but I'm just scared if I ever replace them."
"Rose, you don't have to be scared, and Pinkie Pie would never replace your people." Mrs. Cake points out with a smile. "They may not be here, but they would never want you to think of that. Just as long as you remember their love, I know they won't leave you and they'll think of you too."
"And they'll be with you, in here." Mr. Cake adds, put his hoof on Rose Lotus' chest.
Rose Lotus then felt her eyes filled up in tears as she sobbed, hugging Mrs. Cake. The Cakes now knew the truth and why the gypsy filly didn't accept Pinkie Pie as her new mother. Even the ponies have overheard and hearing the sobs, felt sorry for her.
Pinkie Pie soon made her way to the Golden Oak Library, coming to the door as she then knocks the door. Twilight opened the door.
"Hi Pinkie Pie." Twilight greets her. "You usually pop up somewhere, and not using the door."
"I know, but I came here to ask if we can go to Canterlot and ask Princess Luna to help." Pinkie Pie offered. "Also, I'm worried she won't accept me as her new mom."
Twilight can tell that Pinkie Pie is worried about Rose Lotus not fully accepting as her new mother. Even though, the gypsy filly was able to accept her new life in Equestria months ago, and she made some new friends, but she still hasn't accepted Pinkie Pie as her mother.
"Come inside and we'll talk." Twilight suggested.
Pinkie Pie went inside as Twilight closes the door since Comet is doing some training with Wild Heart.
"Before I could that, can you tell me what's on your mind with her?" Twilight asks.
"Well, I've been doing some thinking ever since Rose Lotus and Djali live with me and the Cakes at Sugarcube Corner. She's been a big help and she just do her own thing whenever we take breaks. But every time when I try to get the treats done, my mind wondered towards her, and I'm starting to feel like Rose Lotus is more than a friend...I'm seeing her like she's my daughter." Pinkie Pie explains. "I just don't know if she feels the same way since she still didn't accept me as her new mom."
Twilight can tell Pinkie Pie is feeling like she's seeing Rose Lotus as her own daughter, but the gypsy filly still didn't fully accept her as her new mother.
"Is there a reason?" Twilight asks again.
"She's probably afraid that I would replace them, but I wouldn't do that. I never wanted to replace them." Pinkie Pie answered.
"Pinkie, I know you won't replace them, but I'm sure Rose felt the same way." Twilight states. "But as far as I know, we keep reminding her that her people wanted what's best for her. And I'm sure they'll understand."
Pinkie Pie nods with an agreement.
"But tell me, what do you feel about her?" Twilight asks.
"I feel like she needs a loving family, like every pony else, including her old people back in her world since they give her much love. Even after she's been through, it really left her a scar in her heart." Pinkie Pie explains, sighed sadly. "It tore me apart, after hearing the loss of her people. But I don't want her to suffer anymore, because I made that promise to the Princesses that I would take care of her."
Twilight can see that Pinkie Pie is determined to take care of Rose Lotus, after hearing her backstory in Varanasi, India which it was very hard and left the gypsy filly an orphan. Twilight then uses her magic to levitate a scroll.
"I just happen to know that Princess Luna sent us a letter this morning." Twilight informed her.
"Really?" Pinkie Pie asks.
Twilight gave her a nod as she opens the scroll and read:
Twilight Sparkle,
As you want to know the reason why I've sent you message is because there is something I wanted to tell you and your friends about how Winter Breeze ended up here to Equestria.
I want you to bring your friends and the foals here at Canterlot at 10 o' clock. I'm sending you and your friends a couple of train tickets for an express ride to Canterlot. My sister and I will be waiting for your arrival.
Princess Luna
After Twilight Sparkle finished reading the scroll, she then turns to Pinkie Pie.
"Since we've only got two hours, I'll go gather the others and tell them to meet at the train station." Twilight said. "And Pinkie, you should let Rose Lotus know how you feel."
Pinkie Pie confirms with an understanding, hoping that Rose Lotus will accept her as she left the Golden Oak Library, leaving Twilight alone which she smiled.
Pinkie Pie soon made it back as Sugercube Corner which it didn't take long for her to find the gypsy filly and her pet goat when she saw her sitting on a chair as Pinkie Pie approaches Rose Lotus.
"Practicing fortune-telling?" Pinkie Pie asks.
"Yes, but Pinkie?" Rose Lotus called her. "There's something I've wanted to tell you."
Pinkie Pie can tell that Rose Lotus wanted to tell her as she sits next to her.
"Go on?" Pinkie Pie suggests.
Rose Lotus then turns her head, noticed the Cakes and Djali were watching. She then turns back to Pinkie Pie as she takes a deep breath and tell her.
"Pinkie Pie, ever since you found me at the castle ruin and took care of me for the past year, I felt like I see you more than a friend...I'm seeing you as my mother." Rose Lotus explains as tears started to fill up her eyes. "The reason why I didn't tell you is because I was afraid! I'm afraid that if I ever tell you, I'd be replacing my people! I didn't want that! I wanted to tell you, I really do, but I'm too scared! I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner!"
Pinkie Pie was left stunned when Rose Lotus told her the truth of how she feels. Pinkie Pie then wrapped her forelegs around Rose Lotus, hugging her and rubbing her back to calm her down.
"Rosey, look at me." Pinkie Pie said when Rose looked at her. "I understand that you're scared to tell me, but Rose, I won't replace your family or your people. I wouldn't do that. Just as long as you remember their love, they won't leave you and they'll think of you, too."
Rose Lotus then widened her eyes, beginning to realize the Cakes are right about Pinkie Pie. She now understands what the Cakes are telling her.
"And Rose, I wanted to tell you something, too." Pinkie Pie said. "Ever since I found you in the Everfree Forest and taking care of you, you somehow changed my life. I have given you love and comfort you need, and to the point that I care and love for you more than any pony else. I know your family and your people are gone, and I made a promise to be there for you no matter what. I've also planned ahead on adopting you as my own."
Rose Lotus then now began to see that Pinkie Pie have adopted her ever since she took her in at Sugarcube Corner a year ago. Pinkie Pie was able to take care of her with the help of the Cakes, but Rose Lotus spoke.
"Is it alright if I can...call you Mom?" Rose Lotus asks.
Pinkie Pie gasp with shocked, but started to give off a smile with tears coming from her eyes.
"Oh, Rosey, I was beginning to hope you ask me that." Pinkie Pie said, sniffed. "Of course you can call me 'Mom'."
Then, both Pinkie Pie and Rose Lotus hugged. The Cakes and Djali smiled with tears from their eyes when they saw a heartwarming sight.
After two hours passed, the Mane 6, the 4 foals, Mario, and Spike made it to the train station and headed for Canterlot. Pinkie Pie explains to her friends and her godson that Rose Lotus finally accepted her as her new mother. They were happy to hear that Rose Lotus is seeing Pinkie Pie as her mother.
The train arrived to Canterlot. When they got off the train, Twilight and her friends went to the castle. They're walking through the hall of the castle, stopped by the doors to the throne room when one of the royal guards went inside and announces to the princesses of their arrival.
"You all may enter."
The doors suddenly opened, and the group saw Princess Luna sitting on her throne and not Princess Celestia only because of something important. The Mane 6, the 4 foals, Mario, and Spike, bowed before her, until she walked to them.
"We would like to thank thou for coming to Canterlot." Princess Luna thanked them with a smile. "The reason why I called all of you here is because I need to tell you all something I told my sister last night. I believe it's time for you all knew the truth about Winter Breeze, because I can sense you're wondering how she ended up in Equestria?"
Twilight and her friends nodded in unison.
"Well, the truth is that I brought her here." Princess Luna told them.
It got them, including Fluttershy gasped in shock.
"You brought her here?! How?!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Let me explain." Princess Luna suggests.
Until, they all sat on their haunches and listened to Princess Luna.
"As you may or may not know this, but the unexpected thing about my powers is that not only do I keep watch over ponies' dreams and help guard them from their fears, but I can also hear, sense, or feel either the wishes, prayers, emotions, or thoughts of many ponies during the night when they're sleeping, but also those from the distant worlds." Princess Luna explains. "One calm night, I heard the wishful prayer of a young filly from a distant world, one who had suffered a broken heart. That young filly...was Winter Breeze."
They were shocked about this story, but Princess Luna continues.
"Her wish was for a family that could love her and have a home to live in besides the orphanage, and have a chance to make some friends." Princess Luna said. "So, after hearing her wish upon thy moon, I traveled to her home world spiritually and concentrated all of my magic, alter her appearance, enveloped her in a warm comforting glowing embrace and finally brought her here. And when I looked into her memories, they were very sad because I believed that she was telling the truth about her being lonely and not being chosen, so I left her on Fluttershy's doorstep, so that she could make her feel safe and have you help her care of her."
They smiled warmly and had tears in their eyes when they heard Princess Luna's story.
"That poor, poor little darling. I can't bear to see her cry!" Rarity said, sniffled.
"I know! It's just so...so...heartbreaking." Pinkie Pie agrees, hugged Rarity as she cries.
Comet, Apple Shine, and Rose Lotus felt very bad for Winter Breeze after hearing Princess Luna's story, gives the Icelandic filly a sympathy expression on their faces.
"Princess Luna, thank you for helping her." Fluttershy thanked the princess.
"You're most certainly welcome, my dear Fluttershy." Princess Luna said, turns to Winter Breeze. "Winter, would it be alright if I speak to you alone?"
Winter Breeze nods as she and Princess Luna left the throne room to walk towards the balcony. Fluttershy then had something on her mind.
"Girls, boys, I have something I need to tell you all that I've been waiting to tell Winter." Fluttershy said which it got them confused.
"What is it, Fluttershy?" Twilight asked as Fluttershy took a heavy deep breath.
"I know that Winter is very sweet and polite towards others...and that we know she lost her family...But I've been thinking about something." Fluttershy explains. "Even since she came into my life, I realized that she was very lonely...so I've done a lot of thinking...and I kinda thought about Winter because she somehow touched my heart. I thought, I would like to adopt her as my daughter."
"Why...that's...that's so thoughtful of you, darling." Rarity said with a warm smile.
"I know. I don't want to send her back to the orphanage because of how much suffering she endured, and I'm sorry about her losing her parents." Fluttershy agrees.
"I think you should, too." Twilight said with a warm smile. "The poor sweetheart needs somepony to care for her, and you've proven that you're capable of doing that."
Fluttershy smiled warmly and hugged Twilight.
"Once we return to Ponyville, we'll help you with the adoption forms." Mario suggests with a smile.
"Thank you." Fluttershy thanked him with a nod.
Meanwhile, Winter Breeze was outside of the balcony standing at the rail looking at the view of Canterlot, then saw Ponyville from here, and then all of Equestria from beyond. She then felt a deep depression in her chest.
"They seem kind to me, just like...just like...my parents." Winter Breeze said, started to cry softly. "I miss them...so much."
Suddenly, Princess Luna carefully walked up to the Icelandic filly, and gently spoke to her.
"Are you alright, young filly?" Princess Luna asked.
Winter Breeze turned around and saw Princess Luna standing there, then she ran up to her as she sat down on her haunches and wrapped her forelegs around her chest for a hug, until Princess Luna wrapped her right foreleg around her for comfort.
"It's alright, Winter. I'm right here." Princess Luna said. "Is it alright if I join you?"
Winter Breeze nodded, then Princess Luna laid flat, until she tucked her legs underneath her, and reached out her right wing.
"Here. Come sit with me." Princess Luna offers.
Winter Breeze nods and sat down by Princess Luna's side and curled her legs until her hooves touched the surface and wrapped her forelegs around her knees, then leaned on her neck, nuzzling her fur. Princess Luna then wrapped her wing around the Icelandic filly and held her by her foreleg, patting her knees with her hoof.
"That's better. Now, what's troubling you?" Princess Luna asks when Winter Breeze sniffled.
"You've all been so kind to me, but...I missed my parents. I was too young to be lonely without them...I've been like this ever since before I came here." Winter Breeze said sadly, placed her hoof on Princess Luna's shoulder and buried her cheek on her chest.
Until, Princess Luna rested her head on top of her head.
"Shhhhhh...Hush now, little one. There's no need to be afraid of anything else anymore. Because you're safe now." Princess Luna said, soothing her.
Winter Breeze nodded and nuzzled her cheek on her chest fur, until Princess Luna thought of an idea.
"Winter, would you like me to tell you a story?" Princess Luna offers.
Winter Breeze nodded after she wiped her tears. Princess Luna made a heavy sigh, then looked at the sky.
"You see, this is the story about the difference between dark and light, but between sun and moon." Princess Luna said. "1,000 years ago, when me and my sister were ruling Equestria together, everything here was peaceful and pleasant all over the land. Everypony in Equestria treated each other with love, respect, happiness, joy, and friendship. My sister was in charge of raising the sun so that everypony would grow crops, get together, play together, have picnics, work hard outside, and be happy. I was in charge of raising the moon, except they did not enjoy the night, but went to sleep or celebrate the remaining hours of the day."
"Then what happened?" Winter Breeze asked.
Princess Luna sighed, and looked down in shame.
"One day, I allowed myself to be consumed by darkness, jealousy, and hate." Princess Luna continues. "As Princess of the Night, I wanted the nightfall to last Equestria forever, and made sure that the sun would never rise again."
"But why?" Winter Breeze asked, worried about Princess Luna's pain while curled up underneath her wing.
"Because everypony enjoyed the day more than the night." Princess Luna answered. "One tragic night, when I raised the moon, I refused to let it set so the sun would come. My dear sister tried to reason with me about our balance in Equestria.
Flashback
Princess Luna angrily confronted Princess Celestia.
"Did you really expect me to sit idly by while they all basked in your precious light?!" Princess Luna shouts.
"Sister, you don't have to do this!" Princess Celestia said with concern.
"There can only be one princess of Equestria! And that princess will be me!" Princess Luna said, raised out her wings.
'When my sister tried to reason with me that Equestria needed both the sun and the moon to strive eternal balance, I refused to listen...until...IT happened.'
A solar eclipse appeared, and then a cloud of dark magic surrounded her, transforming her into Nightmare Moon, and made an evil cackle.
'That resentment ate at my heart and consumed it with pure darkness until I transformed into a terrifying dark sorceress whose heart was black as night. I became...Nightmare Moon.'
"Luna, I will not fight you! You must lower the moon! It's your duty!" Princess Celestia hollered.
"Luna? I am...Nightmare Moon! I have but one royal duty now: TO DESTROY YOU!" Nightmare Moon said.
Until, she and Princess Celestia fought with their magic and flying, causing destruction to the castle. Nightmare Moon beat Princess Celestia, but she got back up.
"Oh, dear sister. I am sorry, but you have given me no choice but to use these." Princess Celestia said.
Princess Celestia summoned six colorful gems that looked like the Elements of Harmony, and then created a huge blast that banished her sister to the moon, then Princess Celestia started to have tears in her eyes.
'With the magical powers of the Elements of Harmony, my dear sister had no choice but to banish me to the moon for 1,000 years. It tore her apart.'
Flashback Ends
"Wow..." Winter Breeze said, amazed.
Winter Breeze wiped her tear with her hoof, then Princess Luna smiled warmly and nuzzled her head with hers, then Winter Breeze sat back down.
"What happened next?" Winter Breeze asked when Princess Luna sighed deeply.
"After spending 1,000 years during my exile on the moon as Nightmare Moon, she decided to avenge her defeat as the hooves of my sister and swore revenge by taking her throne and trapping her somewhere unknown." Princess Luna continued when Winter Breeze looked at her with concern. "But she called her most loyal, trusted, and faithful students, Twilight Sparkle and Mario Star, who was given the task to help the Summer Sun Celebration honoring my defeat, and that's where they met their friends. When the sun refused to return that night, Nightmare Moon interfered and invaded Equestria, until Twilight Sparkle and her friends journeyed to the castle in the Everfree Forest and retrieve the Elements of Harmony. When the five other elements were presented to those five ponies, and both Twilight and Mario received theirs, they united together and helped defeat Nightmare Moon and free me from her grasp. They were successful and were able to return both the sun and my sister, I was finally free. When my sister confronted me, I apologized and we forgave each other, and I reunited with her, and we continued to rule Equestria as long as I was by her side and everypony accepted it. The end."
Winter Breeze finally felt happy about Princess Luna, but disappointed about her dark side.
"Princess Luna, I understand that you had a problem, but if Princess Celestia really cared about you before you turned, how come you had to be banished?" Winter Breeze asked. "You could've talked to her about it before your jealousy happened and she would listen."
Princess Luna looked down at her.
"You see, dear one, although I tried to overthrow my sister as ruler of Equestria as Nightmare Moon and wanted nightfall last forever, she loved me as I still do, and she is very noble, and was able to forgive me after I was free from my curse." Princess Luna explains. "It's sometimes the right thing to show some mercy before by forgiving somepony. And even though we're sisters, we're also family, and it will always be there to forgive you, love you, care for you, and help you if something troubles you of if you made a mistake. I vowed to never make that mistake again."
Princess Luna then lowered her head and nuzzled her back.
"And if I had any problems, I would talk to somepony I can trust and they'll listen, and I know you've done the same thing." Winter Breeze said. "But I care."
"That's right, dear Winter. And I'm truly sorry about the pain you've suffered from being lonely without friends and the tragedy you fell upon during your time at the orphanage. You deserve better." Princess Luna said with a warm smile, gave her a soft kiss on the top of her head. "Winter, I also have something else to tell you."
"Okay, Princess Luna. I'm listening." Winter Breeze said, looked up.
Princess Luna took a deep breath and then looked down at the Icelandic filly with a small smile.
"You see, as Princess of the Night, I am able to listen to the wishes and prayers that come from the hearts and souls of all ponies of Equestria." Princess Luna explains. "But this is a different story. Three nights ago, I heard the wish of a young filly from a distant world, like where your species come from."
"Really?" Winter Breeze asks surprisingly, earned a nod from Princess Luna.
"Yes. This young filly, whose heart was very sad, made a wish. That young filly...was you." Princess Luna said.
It made Winter Breeze gasped, then remembered her wish.
"I remember! My wish was for me to leave the orphanage and live in a new home with a family that will love me and have friends to play with!" Winter Breeze exclaims.
"Yes, dear Winter." Princess Luna nods. "You were the one who made that wish. So with deep concentration, I came to you spiritually and used my magic to cover you in a warm comforting glow so that you won't wake up, alter your appearance, and decided to bring you to Equestria. When we arrived, I placed you on my back until I stopped at the doorstep that belonged to the home of the Element of Kindness, which was Fluttershy because I knew she could keep you safe."
Winter Breeze remembered how she met Fluttershy.
"And then Fluttershy found me, and took me in." Winter Breeze adds. "The reason I'm here and living with Fluttershy...was because of you?"
Princess Luna nodded, then Winter Breeze felt tears in her eyes and hugged Princess Luna and cried.
"Thank you, Princess Luna. Thank you." Winter Breeze thanked her.
"You are welcome, dear one." Princess Luna said, hugged her back. "I only did it so that you would be taken care of and safe from danger."
Winter Breeze nodded and she hugged Princess Luna.
After Winter Breeze felt better, she saw Fluttershy and the others come outside to talk to the Icelandic filly. Fluttershy came over to her and stood by her. The others stood by Fluttershy in a circle, and Princess Luna rose and sat on her haunches.
"Winter, we were talking about some things, and...if you want to or would like to..." Fluttershy said.
"She was trying to say is, we would be honored if you choose to either stay in Equestria, meaning you could live here, but it's up to you." Mario said softly.
"R-R-Really?" Winter Breeze asks with her eyes widen in shock.
"Of course, darling." Rarity nods. "You are the most precious and adorable little filly we ever met. And if you decide to stay, I'll let you play with Sweetie Belle."
"Zane and I can teach you in martial arts so you'll be able to defend yourself and to gain confidence." Mario adds.
"And if ya decided ta stay, sugarcube, Ah'll bring ya over t' Sweet Apple Acres and let ya help out, and Ah can introduce ya to the rest of mah family durin' the annual Apple Family Reunion." Applejack adds. "And Ah know Apple Bloom and her friends will be heartbroken if ya left, because they really want ya t' stay."
"I can also teach you how to fly and take you to Cloudsdale for a tour." Rainbow Dash added.
"We can have lots of fun if you stay! We can also bake together!" Pinkie Pie adds happily, as Rose Lotus giggled.
"And I can let you come over and let you read some of my books if you want, or teach you about the magic of friendship." Twilight adds. "But like Princess Celestia said, it's up to you."
Winter Breeze felt tears in her eyes, and then looked at Fluttershy with a warm smile.
"I want to live here because you've been so kind to me and made me happy." Winter Breeze said. "But...Fluttershy?"
"Yes?" Fluttershy asks, lowered herself down a little when Winter Breeze nervously sniffled.
"If it's okay with you and if I stay with you...am I allowed...to c-call you, Mom?" Winter Breeze asks.
Fluttershy felt tears in her eyes and warmly smiled, then her heart began to melt over her request.
"Winter...I'd love for you to stay, and I was also planning to adopt you." Fluttershy told her.
"Y-You were?" Winter Breeze asks.
"Yes, sweetheart." Fluttershy nods. "Since the morning I found you, you somehow changed my life. I have come to love and care for you more than anypony in Equestria or anypony in your world. You've also held a very special place in my heart now. I love more than anything, Winter. I know you lost your parents, and I promise to be there for you now and forever."
"So...I...I can call you Mom?" Winter Breeze asks.
"Aww...Winter, sweetie, of course you can call me Mom." Fluttershy replied, until she couldn't hold her tears of happiness anymore, causing her to sit down and reach out her hooves. "OH, MY SWEET LITTLE WINTER! COME TO MOMMY!"
Winter Breeze beamed with a smile and then ran to Fluttershy, and she held her in her forelegs for an embrace while sat down on her haunches. Winter Breeze sobbed happily, while Fluttershy gently rubbed her back with her hoof.
"I love you, Mom." Winter Breeze said with a smile.
"I love you too, Winter." Fluttershy replied with a warm smile.
The others made a 'd'awww' reaction to the heartwarming moment, and had warm tearful smiles on their faces, so they gather around Flutterhy and Winter Breeze for a warm group hug.
"Thank you for granting my wish, Princess Luna." Winter Breeze thanked her.
"You are humbly welcome, dear one." Princess Luna replied.
As soon as they continued with the hug, Princess Celestia watches with a heartwarming smile on her face.
