A man with scar over his face called softly, knowing his former student is almost always up in the early morning. Of course, there's some exception, for example, when the boy trained himself until late night…

"Naruto, it's me, Iruka"
The Hokage had explained to him the basic information about the boy ever since he failed the academy test. It seems for some reasons Iruka doesn't aware of, Naruto has successfully tamed the coldest female among the ice Queens of Konoha while looking for information on how to become a merchant.
Of course, small part of him is still in disbelief, after all, almost everyone within Konoha know just how much the Haruno family loath the boy's existence. But still, another part of him is happy that the boy has found his other half… gods know how much he need it.
Add the fact that Luka Haruno has been disowned by her own mother, Iruka dare to put at least some trust toward the girl.
Another minute waiting, soon Iruka was greeted by the sound of steps coming out from the inside.
"… Who are you?"
However, when the door to Naruto's apartment opened, the one came out isn't his former student. But a beautiful girl with long, wavy pink hairs.
She's wearing nothing but sleepwear, which consisted of simple oversized white t-shirt and a very simple short. Add her messy hairs, Iruka dare to bet that the girl had sleep with Naruto last night. Her soft, blue eyes watching him coldly just as her moniker suggest.
'… I know that Naruto only has one bed and no sofa… Naruto… GOOD JOB!'
"Cough… cough… My name is Iruka Umino, I was Naruto's teacher when he's in the academy"
"… Is that so…"
For a few seconds, the two merely stood like that. But in the end, Luka let out a rather heavy sigh and opened the door fully.
"Come in, I hope you don't mind waiting, Naruto is not awake yet"
Iruka raise one of his eyebrows here, a bit confused.
"Really? That's a surprise… he usually woke up pretty early"
Iruka didn't get his answer from words, but from the fact his eyes notice the tell tales of blushes in this Luka's cheeks. And when he sees this, Iruka's mouth become agape, while both of his hands clenches so tightly that they're turning white.
'Naruto… you fucking lucky man!'
Oh, what a pleasant surprise. Lord Hokage will be having so much fun with this information. He probably would also laugh at the envious ANBUs that has crushes toward the infamous Luka Haruno.
"Cough… Then I guess he will wake up soon. Do you want some tea, Umino-san?"
"Sure, if its not a problem for you"
Calmly, as Iruka already had been to Naruto's apartment before, he took a seat in one of the chairs in the middle room, where his eyes watching Luka that seemingly already used to live in the boy's house, as she move naturally toward the kitchen and starting to brew some tea.
The two fell into a rather awkward silence after that. With Iruka doesn't know what to say and Luka doesn't seem to have any interest to talk with him.
Fortunately, a sound of a door being opened is heard, and Naruto come out from his bedroom at last, yawning, his hands rubbing his still weary eyes.
And seeing this adorable sight, Luka has a rather heavy blush on her cheeks. Which noticed by Iruka, making him sweatdrop…
'… Really?'
"Morning, Luka… Oh, Iruka-sensei. I didn't know you are here"
Luka greet him back with her own 'morning' as Naruto take a seat across of Iruka, smiling apologetically.
"Sensei… I'm sorry for worrying you for the last few days"
"No, its alright Naruto, what's important now is that you've already feel better"
The two talks for at least half and hour after that. Naruto explained to his former teacher about his wish to become a merchant by building connection, and Iruka talks to Naruto about the new recruits.
And in the middle of their talks, Luka placed the tea in the table in front of them silently, then took her own seat on the chair beside her boyfriend and began to play with Naruto's left hand after she take it silently.
And of course, it wasn't that much silent, as the owner of said hand was having a blush on his face as he feels his hand and fingers being played around by Luka's soft hands. All the while, Iruka once again have a sweatdrop…

"By the way, Naruto, do you want to become a shinobi of Konoha? After your last test, me and Hokage-sama was curious just why could you've failed despite you've studying and training for so long… and we have found out that your written test has been rigged by the examiners every time they're supposedly to rate students points fairly…"
Written test has 40% overall points for the academy students, while the jutsu part have 60% overall points. 20% for substitute technique, 20% for transformation technique, and the last 20% is for the clone technique.
Naruto only failed at the clone technique, which lost him a simple 20% points. But because his written test also had been rigged by the examiners, he also lost 40% from there… and with only remaining 40%, he wasn't able to graduate.
"So, by the order of the Hokage of the Konoha… Naruto Uzumaki, do you want to become a ninja of our dear village, Konohagakure no sato?"
A lone, single newly made ninja headband placed in front of Naruto by Iruka. And he can't help but watch as the metal part of the headband glisten slightly from the morning sunlight that entered from his window.

There's a tell-tale of glee in Kyuubi's voice… and while it kind of make the boy curious, he's not curious enough to ask.
Walking through the busy street, Naruto is trying his hard to not to bump into anyone. And it's really hard from how much crowded the street today.
If he bumped into someone, he's considered as dead, this will be his training for this morning.

To refuse the key to his dream feels like literally ripping his heart apart by hand honestly… it hurt, it hurt so bad that he was becoming blank a few minutes after he did that. But of course, his decision is still unchanging.
He wanted to become shinobi, true. He dreamed to become Hokage, that's also true.
But what's the point of all of that if the villagers, the people he should be protect doesn't want that?
It's not giving up, Naruto said to himself. It's simply understanding not from view only, but also from their heart.

And with that, Naruto began to looks around.
Of course, to Tenten's curious eyes, he would look like a normal boy watching and touching the weapons here and there. But unfortunately for her, for each touch he did, he's remembering and etching the feels of each weapon in his mind so he can recreate it anytime he wants.

And as he doing this, Naruto took the smallest second to look at Tenten and gave her a soft, polite smile. Then returned his eyes back to Kenshin…
Of course, it was only the outward. The truth is, he just shot some bunch of thick pheromones toward the girl.
And from the edge of his eyes, he could see it doing its job.

The boy has placed twenty kunai on top of the counter in front of her father, and this sight made her mouth agape for a small second.

And after few more minutes, Ido's control over Yakumo's kimono began to slip, and slowly, the boy is no longer 'bounded' by her.
With a kind smile on her face, Yakumo looks down, as Naruto himself also looking up to her.
"Say, Naruto-kun… are you hungry?"
The boy only gave her a nod for answer.
He just hopes that Yakumo won't ask 'that' question again, cause he really, really doesn't know how to answer such question.

"Give me a private table for two, as for the foods, give us everything on your menu…"
In the entrance of golden leaf, the most expensive and royal restaurant in the Konoha, Yakumo said that. Her tone is a mix between polite and cold.
Well, no matter how much she wanted to hide it, Naruto know that she's still a little bit anxious and angry about his and Luka's relationship.
… actually, scratch that 'a little bit'.
After all, she's livid.
Standing behind Yakumo, Naruto twirl his hairs gently, feeling a bit nervous and underdressed inside such a good place and lovely companion.
Even more so, the people's staring at him. it's fortunate that inside such a place, no one would dare to make a scene.
"Understood, Kurama-sama… please, follow me to your table"

With a polite bow, the waiter led them to the edge of the golden leaf, where private long table with sofas lining up in the right and left side. On top of the said table, a lone piece of privacy seal rest, the real thing that will make this table become 'privacy'.
And as the two settle down in the sofa, with Yakumo siting across of Naruto, the girl says another thing to the waiter…
"Another thing please, I want everything, be it foods or drinks is to be send at once… Do not bother us until everything is ready, okay?"
"Noted, Kurama-sama"
With that, the waiter walks away.
And right after he does, Yakumo touch the privacy seal and their table soon covered by a translucent doom shaped chakra, hiding them from the outside view, with them still can see outside.
The privacy seal, while can be seen as simple in the first glance, is actually one among the hardest to make within the mid tiered seals. Not only that, even the current seals master, Jiraiya of the sannin is said to only able to make privacy seal that last for five uses, while the one inside Hokage's office can last for eternity, made by the legendary fourth hokage.
The one on top of the table? It's only one-time, made by seal users here and there.
Pretty common, but still pretty costly because of their difficultness.
'… I think I'm gonna learn this seals thing later… I hope Luka-chan work as librarian today'

Naruto was jolted awake from his short thought by Kyuubi's bark, though before he can say anything to his inner tenant, he feels a soft hand resting on his left hand.
… it seems the girl had stood up and now sitting beside him now that the room gain its privacy.
Feeling the soft hand began to tenderly caressing his own hand, slowly, patch of pink covers the boy's face from embarrassment.
Beside him, Yakumo has a soft smile of melancholy as she's seeing this.
