Alright alright. I know it has been a month or so.

but I just gotten myself tangled in some kind of problem in these month. Fortunately, it is finished more or less by now, or at least, I hope it won't bit me back later when I'm not expecting.

Anyway, the problem solved, but I'm pretty much still busy these days. so, just enjoy, okay?

Chapter 16, The maiden of sword

"N-Naruto nii-san… sniff… will you ever come back?"

In front of the new bridge (Named the Great Naruto Bridge for some reason) Naruto is patting Inari that having tears pouring hard from his eyes. Behind Naruto, Cat, Kakashi and his team is ready to leave the village.

"Heh… of course, I've told you, didn't I? I'll make a branch for my office in Wave after I finished the one in Kiri, so you bet I'll come here to check on it"

And when it finished, he can have Tsunami as the CEO with Inari as the future CEO. From what he can see, no one's better than her in this village full of people that usually do their living by fishing. That, and he knew her personally.

"P-Promise?"

"Sure, I promise on it"

Gently patting the boy that somewhat reminded Naruto of himself, he focuses his gaze toward the people lining up behind said boy.

Unlike the situation in Kiri, this time he doesn't leave in silent and instead having people who idolized him lining up to greet him goodbye. He… remembers each of their faces, their smiling faces and their faces of sorrows. In this quick week, just like the situation in Kiri, Naruto found himself think those people as his people, as the people who he should protect.

"Everyone! Until I return… Please protect yourself!"

It may sound somewhat cheeky of him, but he never had such intention, Naruto really mean it when he said he will protect them after he come back. And because of his high charisma, his words transferred to the people positively, making them bowing to Naruto in rather extravagant actions.

"HAI, NARUTO-SAMA!"

Heh, look at that… instead of villagers, they sounded like a group of veteran soldiers.

"Then I guess that's that… please take care, Inari"

And with that as his last words, Naruto turned around and walks away, his party following his lead…

Behind him, Inari took a rather large amount of air unto his lungs.

"NARUTO NII-SAN! I PROMISE, I'LL BECOME A GREAT CARPENTER LIKE MY GRANDFATHER!"

"I TRUST YOU WILL!"

And with that, Naruto closes his chapter in Wave country.

-Later-

"I think this is far enough… we should be able to speed up now, Uzumaki-san"

The ANBU Cat said after five or so minutes of walking. Her call to him return to 'Uzumaki-san' now that there's some people around. And after he heard what she said, Naruto nodded and turn his gaze toward Kakashi that simply smiling with his visibly eyes.

Beside the man, Sasuke is gritting his teeth, though Naruto is rather uncaring about such a thing.

"You know, you really need to take it slow, little hero"

"Easy for you to say, Cyclops. I have a company that cannot run without me… so, I guess this is a see you later from me"

As genins, Kakashi's team cannot run as fast as him or Cat and also doesn't have required stamina for prolonged run. And thus, their teacher decided that they will take their time to reach Konoha, a decision Naruto decided to refuse as he has some more things that need his attention back in the village.

For example, his girlfriend that definitely raged after she realized he's not home.

Another example, because his hunt for 'Cat' is a failure, he's basically having an urge to get fucked by someone.

After all, he went from at least one sex a day to no sex for a week. It really is somewhat maddening feeling for him, more so with someone as pretty as Cat being near every day.

His wild imagination cannot be contained that easily, just as his hard-on.

It seems knowing how her face look like behind that mask do more harm than good to him.

"Well, I guess that's true. Then, please be safe on your journey, Naruto-san"

As Kakashi bid his own farewell, Naruto nodded and disappeared with a swirl of leaves, followed by Cat that doing the same…

"… Kakashi, you never told me just why Zabuza feared Naruto that much"

Left behind, Sasuke said that to his teacher after a few seconds of Naruto's departure and his presence no longer can be felt anymore.

Though, after he heard the words said by his student, Kakashi merely give out an eye-smile for all three, his right hand already grasping his usual orange book.

"A ninja needs to be able to gather intel all by himself. When we reach Konoha, we'll take a day off, after that, I'll give you three a mission. The mission is simple, search and find any information about Naruto from the day he graduated till he went to Wave"

Of course, hearing this from his teacher, Sasuke grumbles in defeat.

"… But you can just tell us now"

"I can, but if I were to do it, then none of you will realize just how precious some information is"

And of course, it's also a fact that Kakashi is currently too lazy to tell his students about Naruto's feat and achievement after the day he was rejected from his own graduation.

Also, he wants to see just how much information his students will get and how accurate it will be.

-Timeskip-

A day is all it took for Naruto and Cat to reach Konoha, just like when they first departed to Wave. And when they've arrived on the gate, Naruto popped his hands, satisfied when there're some 'popping' sound heard.

"Ah, home sweet home… see ya later, Cat-chan, gotta go home now~"

However, just as Naruto want to flicker to his house to meet with his girlfriend, a hand grasped on his shoulder coldly, locking him in his place.

"Uzumaki-san… I believe you need to report back to lord Hokage before anything else"

"B-B-Bu… sigh… Okay, okay"

Stammered, Naruto can only give up when the ANBU in front of him didn't deter despite he just hit her with point-blank teary eyes. Really, if he knew no better, he would think them as only empty dolls without any souls with how cold and emotionless they are.

And after he said his okay, Cat simply nodded, one of her hands still on his shoulder while the other one doing a single hand sign.

With that, they flickered toward the Hokage's office.

"…That conclude my report for this mission"

Naruto said in front of the great leader of Konohagakure no Sato, his face looks a little serious despite he didn't really want to be here in the first place. Behind him, Cat let out small sigh that only he can hear…

Maybe from tiredness? Who know?

Anyway, in front of the two, Hiruzen inhaled his tobacco and exhaled the smoke from it. His eyes having a hidden proudness that make Naruto feel just a little bit, somewhat happy.

And please remember, just a little bit. No more and no less, that's how fucked Hiruzen is after the old man lied to him.

"That's good, my boy… now to the Wave people, you're their hero, we should be able to trade with them in the future"

Here, Naruto nodded. He thought as much too yesterday, but of course, the Wave's people are full of wary people now, he knew they won't accept Konoha people just like that only because he's from same country.

They've learned from their past mistake.

"Yes, so can I go now? I'm pretty sure Luka was angry I left without saying anything…"

"Ah, of course my boy. And here's your payment for the mission"

The boy's reason is not formal honestly, after all, what kind of person basically say to their leader "I made my girlfriend angry because of you, I'm gonna go home now", but fortunately, Hiruzen know his own fault when it's due and smiled. While Naruto raised one of his eyebrows in confusion when the old man threw a single, small scroll to him (which he caught effortlessly). And from what he said, it's his payment.

Huh… he got paid now?

"I extracted those money from the council's members who asked me to sent you to save Sasuke Uchiha. I'm sure the amount is enough for the sudden mission we gave you, Naruto-kun"

Of course, that's what happened. While it's true his grandfather figure lied to him, the man still has high affection to him, there's just no way he sent him on a mission without any plan to extract money from the council's members first.

Pretty good for an old man he guesses.

"Mnn, nicely done, Jiji…"

Smiling happily, Naruto let himself opened the scroll for a little bit to see how many zeros it has…

It really doesn't disappoint.

"This old man, I think he's spoiling you too much…."

For some reason, the fox inside Naruto growled a little bit. Though, Naruto really doesn't know the reason, after all, the Hokage did always spoil him since he was a kid. From taking him to some restaurant, played with him and even paid most of his bills.

If that's not spoiling, Naruto doesn't know what.

"Hahaha, glad you like it, my boy. And as for you Cat, you can take a day off today, I'm sure you're pretty tired seeing Naruto-kun once again become a hero of a country"

"Hai, Hokage-sama"

Already in front of him (how and when, Naruto doesn't really know), the ANBU saluted her leader, though the boy merely turned around and get ready to leave…

He and the Hokage are close, there's simply no need for formalities, and also no need for the Hokage to excuse him first.

However, before Naruto can leave the room, Cat stopped him once again by grabbing him on the shoulder.

"Come on, Cat-chan, what now?"

The boy said, all the while, pout on his face… and of course, when he did this, he immediately notices the neck part of Cat (the one isn't covered by mask) turn a little bit of pink.

His pheromone has effect now?

Hmm… the friendship and lust increasing now? But it didn't increase at all when they're on their way to Konoha yesterday.

Huh… so confusing, this woman is.

"Do you remember my friend? She said there's something she need to tell you. Go meet her later after whatever your business is finished…"

Short and simply. And after she said that, Cat flickered off to somewhere, gone like a ghost in the night and leaving a small fragrance of her scent for him…

Blush overtook his cheeks for a small second, though he broke of the daze in no time by shaking his head.

"Ohoho… I see you have more admirer, my boy. Good job"

Of course, Naruto simply rolled his eyes from his grandfather figure's words, and all the while ignoring the old man who's giving him a thumb up.

There's far too much loop-hole in the woman's words that Naruto is sure she lost her calmness few seconds ago.

ANBU Cat's friend is Yugao Uzuki, and Cat said the woman want to meet him…

Where and when the two ever met? Since he and Cat returned from the Wave, he and her was together until a minute ago. There's just a big loophole she doesn't realize.

'Ah… such a huge mistake, Cat-chan'

Oh well… she doesn't want to meet him as Cat, but as Yugao Uzuki, he can understand that logic. By nature, ANBU is a ghost force… they don't exist, so it's very logical to meet him as normal jonin instead of member of ANBU's force.

"Anyway Jiji, see you later. I've a girlfriend to calm down and a meet up with beautiful woman later… I hope you don't get a heart stroke"

And with that as his last words, Naruto also flickered off to his own apartment, leaving a chuckling Hokage behind him.

Fortunately… or not, when Naruto arrived on his apartment, he doesn't see any sign of Luka.

And when he walked to the dining room, on top of the table, there's a note explaining the reason of it.

[Dear, I hope you read this note, because if you do, you fucked up…]

The note is pretty long, and each word he read make Naruto's cheeks darken and darken in each second.

At the first paragraph, it explained about Luka is having a job at library today, but because she anticipated he's going to arrive at home today, she made this note and she'll know if he tries to place everything in right position and run away, so she threatening him to not do such a thing.

The second paragraph is just her cursing and promising him every torture (sexual) he never ever thought possible if he doesn't give her any good reason for him doing mission without telling her when she back home later this night.

As for the third paragraph, well… he really fucked up.

What's in it?

Well… you remember how she always wanted to tie him up with her scarves and bag him in her bag full of her clothing when she's doing any mission?

Yeah… she's going to do it in her next long-term mission.

With or without his consent.

... actually, in the note, she dared him to struggle. She said it's going to make it more pleasurable to both her and him.

And thus, the reason his cheeks blooming in pink right now is because he really can't make up his mind whether he should feel excitement for such day or should he fear it.

pink turned into red, and Naruto's head let out a rather heavy steam in no time from the embarrassment he's feeling. His fingers poking together in a rather familiar way when his Hyuga friend become too shy.

Naruto thought while he's standing in front of his mirror, combing his soft, yet won't be tamed hairs.

What kind of needy?

Well, sex needy… that's what.

People always said, it was the height of pleasure, and once you felt it, you'll become addict. He once thought it was bullshit, nothing but a bullshit came out of someone's mouth.

But surprise, it's true, and he has become an addict it seems.

It just like him and ramen all over again, same experience, different time.

When he was at is lowest, hungry and had nowhere to go, Ichiraku came to his life and bring joy and those happy, warmth feeling of acceptance.

And same just like ramen, when he was at another low point on his life, his ability came and bring him relationship, love, and the sex that come after everything else.

and still like ramen where he always anticipated what new taste that Ichiraku gonna bring, he's also anticipating what his lovers gonna bring to him in their next 'heavy cuddle'.

Will they tie him up? Kiss him like there's no tomorrow? Or do something somewhat strange like Kurenai? Where she kidnapped him using chloroform and fucked his unmoving body as if he's a doll?

The anticipation… it's killing him now.

"Of course, that's the main reason… you don't need to ask me about such obvious reason"

The Kyuubi let out a growl, which the creature basically telling him to shut up if he's going to talk stupid. And because he sensed this, Naruto laughed lightly and sweatdropped.

The day is still young, but it should be good time to visit Yugao-san. After all, he needs to get back at home before his curtain time.

And yes… he's going to face his punishment like a man.

"Uzuki-san, are you home?"

Honestly, on the small part of his mind, Naruto doesn't expect Yugao Uzuki to be awake. After all, they just get home after a week of mission, tiredness isn't something that can be washed off just like that by simply sleeping for a few minutes.

Except him… he has more stamina on spades.

Well, he may have said that, but most of the girls in his life have shown him that they can have more stamina than him when they want to.

Maybe it came with their rank, after all, while his stamina is impressive, it simply cannot defeat the stamina of jonin and anything above.

Kage… for example?

Anyway, he doesn't need to wait long, because suddenly, a soft hand with beautiful fingers grabbed him by shoulder gently. And it was only because of his so many experiences with Yugao that let him resist his own urge to jump up in scare.

"… Aren't you a little early now, Uzumaki-san?"

"G-Geez, you scared the hell outta me, Uzuki-san"

When he turned around, Naruto immediately see the sight of Yugao Uzuki in her everyday clothes, which consisted of only one piece of white, sleeveless dress.

… it doesn't really give her any ninja vibe, but well… he's sure that she's hiding a blade or two under her skirt.

And her face, her beautiful, uncovered face with confused looking eyes… most people would probably think her as beautiful civilian. Hell, even he got himself caught in a daze for a little bit there.

Really, just like the others, she really is worthy to be put as one of the five Ice Queen of Konoha.

"Is that so? Well, sorry for that… why don't you come in first? I need to get ready for our outing, I haven't prepared myself"

What?

If this is her before she prepares herself, then Naruto isn't so sure he can stand up from the chair by the time she finished her preparation.

"U-Umm… outing?"

He expected the outing, really, but Cat merely said that Yugao wanted to talk, so he needs to keep the act of not knowing her real identity.

"Yes, I heard many good things about you from Cat… So, I want to see whether the things she said are real or not. I hope you don't disappoint me, Naruto-san"

So cold, so expressionless… her movement as she opened the door, her words, and everything about her scream coldness. Another thing that probably made her included as one among the five Ice Queen of Konoha.

"A-Ah… okay? And excuse me"

Right after the woman opened the door, Naruto entered her house while saying that, with her closing the door behind him.

Most people said that women take so very long in their bedroom, doing their make up and what's not. But to Naruto, this is bullshit.

Those people who said that probably never have kunoichi as lovers.

Luka, Yakumo, and Kurenai never wasted their time doing thick make up. To them, a small, tiny speck of face powder is more than enough, and to him, it made them much more beautiful than any face make-up most civilian women did to their faces.

Then again, their faces are naturally beautiful, so a pinch of face powder is more than enough.

As for Yugao?

She's a Kunoichi, and he only waited for at most ten minutes before the woman come out with another simple white, one-piece dress. But this time, she's wearing a rather nice long white gloves and a long, purple shawl that snuggly wrap itself around her shoulders and neck.

And to complete her look, she wears a rather large straw hat.

A rather basic attire… but equipped by her, Naruto can't help but transfixed by her beauty.

"I'm ready now, Uzumaki-san… I hope you'll give me a good time today"

After the woman said that, Naruto broke free from another seconds of him being in daze. And of course, responding to her words, Naruto let out a rather soft and kind smiles.

"I don't really know what you like and what's not… but sure~"

And with that, the two goes out on their 'outing'.

Cat, or Yugao Uzuki is a cold person, Naruto thought to himself after he and her went out for a few hours. and yes, she's far colder than Kurenai or Luka.

After all, while those two indeed rarely show expression, they still somewhat act polite and kind to stranger, for example when they went to restaurant.

Buy Yugao?

Her lips don't tug up to anyone she talked to. Hell, they even met with Anko an hour ago and while the snake woman seemed so happy to see the two of them walking together, Yugao doesn't show any sign of happiness or annoyance in her face.

She's like those perfect mannequins he saw in some clothing stores.

Of course, even then, there's still kindness in her action despite not showing it outwardly.

What she did?

Well… she stopped him from falling when he almost tripped himself. Gave the fruit seller a few tips after they gave her few good pieces of fruits.

All in all, she's a good person in heart. Albeit somehow not knowing how to show her expression. Maybe it's her past, or maybe she just doesn't like to show it to anyone… but he won't judge, not at all, everyone has their own reason.

"I'm pretty surprised that you like dango, Yugao-san. You don't seem like a person that prefer snack like dango"

"Surprising, is it? I guess that's true I didn't like those that much. But Anko kept bringing some to my house, so I guess I gained some tolerance at it"

"I guess that one way to gain tolerance to the foods you don't like…"

Walking together, with the woman surprisingly holding an umbrella (which make her look more feminine in his eyes) that giving two of them some cover from the sunlight, Naruto found himself losing for words…

He doesn't know what to say anymore, more so with the woman beside him keep giving him a rather cold glances, as if want to ask him about something.

He doesn't know what to say… she's holding her own words. And thus, they're currently stilled in their conversation.

"You know, if you want to ask me about something, just do it… I'll answer it to the best of my capability, I promise~"

Not used to the awkward silence, Naruto in the end chose to said that. Though, the woman beside him still doesn't let any expression etched in her face except a very small nod.

"Okay… then for the first question. Naruto-san, you're very smart and sharp for someone of your age, surely you notice the attraction sent at you from few other women than your girlfriend, correct?"

Okay… so she has more than one question?

Let's see what's on her mind now…

The first question though, made him blinked for a few times. And while at first his mouth opened (wanted to ask how she reached that conclusion) in the end Naruto closed it back.

She is ANBU, the elite among the elite that can be topped only by few monsters called elite Jonin like the infamous Kakashi Hatake or Might Guy. So, of course she's sharp enough to notice something as obvious as Kurenai and Yakumo's attraction toward him (or perhaps also few civilians he passed).

If he asks her how she noticed such a thing, he would only be a fool in her eyes.

"Well… yeah, I do"

No way to lie about this. As Yugao Uzuki, she doesn't know him that much, but as Cat, she knows him well enough to know that he should be sharp enough to notice such a thing.

This first question, it's cheating, mostly because of her double identities.

"Is that so? Second question, what's your plan to stop their conflict?"

Another cheating question…

She didn't ask him whether he know the conflict between his girl, but the question about his plan to quell their conflict. Which, basically is just her way of saying that she already deduced that he knows about their conflict.

So efficient, this ANBU.

"I'll do nothing… that's my plan"

"… What?"

That answer shocked her, so much that she paused on her walks, her face still doesn't change much, but her eyes got wider very slightly. Though of course, already predicted this, Naruto walked a few steps forward until he's right in front of her and turned around, looked up and locked his eyes with hers.

The shadow of the umbrella still covering both of them in a rather dramatic intimate moment. So much that if people were to saw them, they would think them as a couple who paused on their walks, mesmerized by each other.

Fortunately, there's few people around.

"Like I said, I'll do nothing… those three, they love me, and I really appreciate their loves for me. But I'm not so stupid to stand in the middle of them. After all, even though I don't really know how much jealously they feel toward each other, I can still imagine how painful it is when I thought of the possibility one of them start to go out with someone else"

Four, if he counted Mei. But the ANBU doesn't know about the Mizukage's affection for him as she was standing outside of Kiri when he was having his date… there's no need to let her know.

"… that's stupid decision"

"True, but is there any correct decision when it came to something like this? If I stand between them in their conflict, they surely will corner me to choose one, and if I do, it will be very painful for the other two… I don't want to see that scenario"

Cold, and somewhat expected reaction. But before her friendship can go down, he immediately gave her his reason and start to walk again after he turned around.

"Third question, what's your reason for your decision?"

Ah… it seems she have decided to hear his reasoning before she can judge whether his decision wrong or not. This is what he waited for though…

Checkmate.

"I'm greedy, and I love them too much, that's all"

Honesty, dedication, resolution, he put every emotion he could feel for his lovers into his words in a single sentence that once again rail Yugao Uzuki into a small shock.

And when he turned around…

Cheeks flushing in pink, the woman is glaring at him with a mix of confusion, lust, anger, understanding, but yet nonetheless uncertainly. And when a swordwoman is uncertain, their next move is certain…

"I refuse to let my friend to be played by you any longer… I request a duel"

In a graceful and quick motion, Yugao suddenly has her sword in hands, unsheathed and blade pointing at his neck.

"Okay, I accept your duel. You'll see my resolution is not wrong or fake"

Jumped few meters backward, Naruto unsealed his own blade and point it at her.

In the middle of a street, Naruto and Yugao Uzuki already unsheathed their sword, eyes glaring at each other with such focus that anyone would believe it if someone were to say that they already start their duel in their mind.

Of course, by the point they unsheathed their swords, people already start to run away, knowing how destructive some ninjas can be when they want it.

… and as the trembling steps of people's running began to subside, they dash at each other.

She's being unfair…

She knew it, but honestly, she can't help it.

Her, Anko, Hana and Kurenai is couple… a rather strange couple consisted of four females, but none of them cares about such a thing in the first place.

Well, more like Kurenai is the one having three girlfriends instead of them having each other as girlfriend, but you get the gist.

Still…

They love each other, care for each other and promised to never leave anyone's side, even if any of them get a boyfriend. Knowing in this age, their relationship won't be accepted by the people.

But…

Right after her sword and Naruto's sword clash with each other, she slid it quickly and cut him in his forearm, gaining a rather large gash that should be painful enough for the normal people to drop their weapon.

Hah… does he think he's fighting ANBU Cat?

Her style and Cat style is two opposite styles, he won't be able to counter her like he countered Cat.

Wide eyed, the boy in front of her look rather pained for a brief second, though he resisted his urge to drop his weapon almost immediately and gain his resolute eyes once again.

Honestly, she respects the boy, if she were to be in his shoes, she would rather become a criminal and run away from this village that keep pushing her button again and again.

Why she hates the boy?

It's not hates per se… it's more like, Kurenai is becoming farther and farther. Hana and Anko also realized it that the ruby colored eyes woman is spending less time with them and more spending her time with her students or stalking Naruto.

She no longer kidnapped woman and assaulted them (which, for her is a good thing because she was also jealous of those women to get Kurenai's attention), but from kidnapper, Kurenai is now a stalker.

A private stalker for one Naruto Uzumaki, following the step of her own student, Hinata Hyuga.

What does they see in him, she honestly doesn't really know, the boy is cute, she give him that, his face is just too much to see for some reasons.

It makes any woman who saw him want to… 'eat' him up.

As for his nature, he's kind, hardworking, honest, and very forgiving. A very good person all in all, though he would refuse this vehemently if said to his face.

Okay… those things alone are enough to make any woman to fall over him she guesses.

But it shouldn't have been Kurenai!

Another slid, and she cut him in his thigh, and blood start to fall down because the wound is pretty deep.

Of course, as Jinchuriki, the boy can heal himself with ease, as the wound soon closing on itself once again. though she knew it also took a rather large chunk of his stamina.

"Did Cat-san really taught you, Uzumaki-san? It doesn't seem like it to me"

"Don't you dare disrespect Cat-chan!"

… Okay, she didn't really expect that.

As crimson began to bled in his eyes, the boy waved his sword, pushing her that blocking it because of the force behind it.

Huh, so this is how much power behind his muscles after he enforced himself with small bit of Kyuubi's chakra. Not bad, not bad at all… though, the elder from the council would definitely shit their pants if they were to see this sight.

Only Uzumaki is able to hold the Kyuubi's chakra, and only Uzumaki is the people who can use the power of the strongest tailed beast.

Anyway…

They're already pretty far from their first position, and for some reason, they're now already in some kind of training ground. Which training ground, she doesn't know, but it probably around eleven to twelve from what she can see in the terrain.

Then again, they already fighting for hours, focusing their mind to each other and nothing else, so it doesn't really surprising that they somehow transported into a training ground.
