"Beryl...the hell are you doing here?" Darien growled, hands balled into fist.

"I just had to see for myself my dear prince..." She smirked. "Rumor has it that moon brat left you." She put her hand to his face. "I just had to make sure you were okay...make sure you were not lonely..." She said seductively.

"Remove your hand from me. Now!" Darien demanded. "And she will be back."

"Right... she only left because she had to help her mom plan this ball coming up..." Beryl rolled her eyes. "You don't expect me to believe that she just went away, to plan some ball..."she pointed both index finger down. "Leaving you here alone...do you?"

"I don't care what you believe, I want you to leave!" He pointed at the door.

"Oh such frustration built up." She took a step closer to him. "I can definitely help you relieve." She whispered in his ear.

"I am going to tell you one more time to step away from me and leave!"

"Oh... please don't stop the party because I showed up."

Darien turned to see Serena entering.

"Serena..." He whispered. Beryl put her hand on his shoulder and he shook her. "This is not-"

"I don't care. Do whatever the hell you want. I am only here to speak to your mother on behalf of my mother about the ball, and I am gone." Her eyes expressed nothing but anger. "Why your mom could not just do this over the phone I don't know. But while I am here, please stay away from me."

Darien banged his head as the scenes kept playing over and over in his head. She left that night because she could not sleep in that castle. And it was like this heavy feeling fell over the castle. There was no laughter, no light, nothing.

He tried to call her. She did not answer. He had his mom call her, but anytime he got on the line, she disconnected. He looked at his mom as she looked out the plane window, completely.

She tried. She made every excuse she could come up with to bring Serena to the palace and there was Beryl to mess everything up.

"Sire, we will be landing soon." Jadeite whispered to the prince. Since the incident Darien could not look at him without hating him and wanting to rip him to pieces. Darien did try to understand that he was under the influence and had little control, that was the reason he did not beat him, along with the fact Jadeite had been hiding behind Malachite most the time.

Darien sighed. Looked out the window, there it was, the moon palace. His heart started to race and his stomach started to flip, his legs started to bounce.

"It will all work your majesty." Malachite whispered.

Darien's mother turned around. "You better fix this son."

The landing was smooth and quick. They got off the plane to be greeted by Queen Serenity and one of her servants.

"Serenity!" Darien's mom gracefully walked to her with open arms. "So nice to see you again."

"How as the flight?" Serenity asked.

"Smooth as always."

"Prince Darien." Serenity greeted.

He bowed, and looked around.

"I am sorry dear, she didn't come."

Darien just nodded.

"Where are you bags, let my servant help." Serenity offered.

"We got it your majesty." Malachite chimed in.

She just nodded.

"Well let's head to the palace and get this planning done with." Serenity clapped. Darien's mother looped her arm around hers and they walked. Catching up on everything that has been going on so far.

Darien's eye just wandered, hoping he would just catch a glimpse of her, but he didn't.

When they reached the palace the queen turned to Darien and his guards. "I do apologize gentleman, but we are going to have to leave you here, as we have some planning to finish with. I was hoping my daughter or one of her scouts would have shown up so they can give you a tour." She continued to look around. "But they are either in the training hall or the garden."

"That Serena, loves her garden." Darien's mom smile.

"Yeah... and she has been trying to plant some sort of flower she saw on Earth. I can't remember what it was called, but she said it beautiful and bright red, with thorns." She clapped her hands together. "I just cannot recall the name." She shook her head.

"A rose." Darien voice cracked.

The queen snapped her fingers. "Yes! She has been obsessed with those. But they just keep dying." She shrugged. "But anyhoo, your rooms are all down that way, do not hesitate to ask one of our servants to show you the way. Our palace is not as large as yours, but please make yourself at home."

The men all bowed as the two queens walked away.

"What are we going to do with our children Serenity." Darien's mom whispered.

"I have no idea...but Serena is just as broken as your dear boy." Serenity explained.

"I blame him. And you can too."

Serenity just sighed. "We cannot get involved. They will find their own way."

"This castle is so Serena..." Nephrite observed as they walked around. "The color's, the flowers, the crystals... so lively..." He nodded.

"Why do I feel like we are lost." Zoisite asked.

"Because we most likely are." Malachite answered, hands behind his back as walked, also observing all the little details of the castle that match Serena's personality.

"Look another hallway for us to go down and get further away from where we need to be! Yay!" Zoisite said sarcastically.

They all took the turn only to see ahead of them the four scouts and Serena, but she was transformed to Sailor Moon. Darien knew she saw him because her smile faded and her hands balled up into fists.

The men just stopped in their tracks, as they came closer and closer.

"Serena..." Darien desperately called.

Serena turned to a castle guard. "Guard, he is to not pass through this wing."

The guard nodded.

"This is mine and scouts area, and I don't want him coming though." She ordered.

Darien's guards hung their heads down.

"Serena I need to talk to you." Darien pleaded.

"I have training to do."

"Serena please talk to him," Ami tried on the Prince's behalf. "We have been training nonstop since you came back."

"Last time I didn't train what happened Ami? Hmmmm? I married a guy who pretended to love me and it turns out he needed an heir and I was just another notch oh his belt." She did a fake smirk. "We have a schedule Ami, and if I plan to be strong enough to be able to protect our kingdom without the help of another prince, we need to stick to it." She stared him down. Looked away and started to walk.

Darien grabbed.

"Serena, please let me explain. It is not what you think."

"Touch me again, and I will have guard arrest you." She snatched her wrist.

"I am the prince of Earth, they wouldn't dare touch me."

"And last time I checked...we are on the Moon. Scouts, let's go." She ordered.

The scouts looked at Darien with sympathetic eyes as he just stood there, watching Serena leave again.

"He is to never pass that hallway, or you will be fired!" She scolded the guards.

Dinner was not any better. The mothers sat in the middle, right next to each other. The guards and Darien sat on one side of the table and the scouts and Serena sat on the other.

"Mom." Serena called.

"Yes?" Both moms responded throwing Serena off.

She turned to her birth mom, and the rest saw Darien's mom face drop. "Mom can I please be excused?"

"Honey, you didn't eat anything."

"I just want to go lay down. Long night tomorrow an all."

Her mom just nodded. Serena turned to everyone and bowed. Another blow to Darien's mom. And she walked out.

"Mom," Darien called.

They again both turned.

"I will be back." He ran after her.

Rei and Lita popped.

"Girls." Queen Serenity called. They sat back down with their heads hung.

Serena made her way down to the hall and almost down the hall of her wing.

"Serena!" Darien called.

She kept going.

"Serena!" He roared.

It was not until she got to the guards of the hall did she finally turn around. "How can I help you Prince Darien?"

Hearing her call him by his title causes a crushing pain against his chest. He lost his breath for a second, but regained himself.

"How could you do that to mother, you know how much she loves you."

"She is your mother, Prince Darien, not mine."

"If you want to hurt someone and get mad at someone, fine, I will take it. But do not-"

"News flash again, Prince Darien, this is my palace."

"And as my wife, it would be half mine."

"Maybe on Earth, but here are the moon, you are nothing." She spat back.

"Serena!"

Darien and Serena both turned to see her mother standing behind him.

"Mom!" She said in shock.

"How dare you speak in that nature, especially to your husband." She scolded.

"He is my husband on paper, Mom, not for real." She stared him down.

"Serena." Her mom called again.

"Those were his words mom, not mine." With a whip of her dress she walked down her hall. The guards closed together to keep Darien from coming through.

"I am so sorry for my daughter's behavior." Serenity bowed.

"Queen,"

"Ehhh, from what your Mother says, as the mother of your wife you are to call me mom..." She smirked, putting a hand to his face. "My daughter loves you. I can see it."

"Really? Because I just see hate."

"Maybe the way we wedded you two was not the best..."She looked down the hall to her daughter's room. "But like I expected she saw the best in you and fell in love. Now it is just a matter of her understanding." She moved her hand from his face. "Please do not give up on her."

"M...Mom, I have loved your daughter."

"I know son, I don't doubt it for the world, and I would not have married her to you if I did not believe you two would have the love that my late husband and I had. I would have never done that to her." Serenity reassured.

"So how do I fix this."

"Your mom...well your birth mom and I both agreed, you two will figure this out on your own, and it will make you a million times stronger." She sighed. "That is what Earth and the Moon really need. A strong King and Queen who are stronger together."

Darien just nodded.

"I am going to check on your birth mom."

He just nodded again as she walked away. Darien looked down her hall. He must have unknowingly took one step towards the hall because the guards stepped closer together.

"We apologize sire." Was all they said.

"It is fine." He responded. "Have a great night gentleman." He turned to walk away.

"Prince Darien..."

He stopped when he saw Mina.

"I am so sorry to startle you."

"No need to apologize, Sailor Venus."

"Call me Mina, you are after all, my future king." She did an awkward shrug.

He looked down the hall. "Not from where I am standing." He sighed.

Mina looked down the hall as well. "Prince Darien."

"Please, Mina, call me Darien, what I pulled at the cabin, I apologize."

Mina nodded. "Darien... the day she heard all those things..." Mina's eyes started to tear. "She had just admitted how much she loved you." She cleared her throat. "And as long as I have known her, she has never loved anyone." She sniffed back her tears. "What happened hurt her in such a way...what Jadeite said..." She inhaled a deep breath. "I know he was drunk, but Serena believes the truth always slips when someone is under the influence. She has this set in her head that... you know?"

"I made her fall in love with me, just to..."

"And those stupid prints you guys have one Earth..." Mina clapped both hands together. "What are the point of those things...they just make people sad and insecure... Like why is that a thing on Earth? She saw that Beryl moved in, which I am sure did not happen. There was something about you have a party to find her next suitor." She just shook her head. "If you love her Darien, and for some odd reason, I really believe you do." She looked at him in his eyes. "You need really show her. She is not one of those tabloid women. She really matters, and whatever doubt she has no has to be depleted. She is broken Darien, fix her."

Mina curtseyed and walked up to the guards. They moved for her to walk through. Only to close together again. Leaving Darien behind.

"Sire..." a guard started. "I do apologize, sometimes the princess..."

"That is my wife you are about to insult... so I highly suggest you stop." He sternly said before he walked away.
