A week has passed since the meeting to counter rival village's plan happened. And right now, alone, Naruto is sitting on his usual seat inside the library, reading a book about some warfare and some historical war plans.
Of course… his mind is different matter altogether.
'They're… surprisingly docile and haven't done anything suspicious these few days'
With his Kagura's eyes, it's pretty easy for Naruto to conceal his and Kyuubi's chakra while at the same time, keeping his eyes on the four other Jinchurikis.
Small part of him, the optimistic side of him still think that the two villages (namely Kumo and Iwa) is coming simply for peaceful chuunin exam. But large part of him knows, it's simply a stupid notion to think like that…
Kumo have done very bad deed to Konoha, while Iwa's people still think that Konoha is a monster to release his father on them on the war. The latter village still hate Konoha deep inside their blood.
The three hate each other… simply as that. And so, there's no way the two doesn't have any plan to attack or at least to sabotage the exam while they're here…
And yeah, if he only suspicious of the two, why does he also keeping watch on Suna's Jinchuriki?
Simple, while Suna and Konoha should be allies, the fact the wind village bringing the rumored unstable Jinchuriki to their door bring a rather large question mark on him and the other council's members. And that's why he's also keeping watch on the boy.
Something on the back of his mind however, think that he's wasting time and should look from another angle. Though, he doesn't know which angle he should see and thus keep watching the four with his bloodline while reading through a book about warfare just in case he and the other council's members indeed missing something on the grand picture.

Just as he walking around the Konoha, Naruto felt three familiar chakras going to Konoha. And quick to response, Naruto greet the four people right as they passed the entrance gate of Konoha, his form was nothing but a blur to people around him, even some Jonin.
"FUCK! Don't anyone ever teach you to not appear suddenly in front of people, kid?"
Come a rather rude words from Zabuza, though Naruto merely laughed lightly at the man words. He sensed no negativity at all from him… so his word was simply a jest.
Behind the man, Haku, Ao and Chojuro is lining up, with the latter two bowing gently at him.
"Naruto-sama… it's nice to see you again/Naruto-sama/Naruto-san"
"Nice to see you too, Haku, Chojuro and Ao"
Gently, the boy greeted the three back, though his eyes went back to Zabuza right after that.
From what Mei has told him from the letter, because of Kiri is in the state of rebuilding, they can only send two genins at this time of the year. Said genins is Haku and Chojuro, two which Naruto know actually is at mid Chuunin at least.
Heh… she's trying to show off to the incoming big names that despite Kiri just got out from internal war, they still have strong bloodlines and strong ninjas in their repertoire.
As for Zabuza and Ao…
Well, Zabuza is the two's Jonin sensei while Ao is Mei representative in this Chuunin exam. After all, the Mizukage herself cannot visit because of her nation's state.
The other Kages understood her reasoning, thus it's alright for her to use representative instead coming herself.
Though… it's kinda unfortunate for him…

"Anyway… should I escort you four to your lounging?"

Zabuza said with a rather relieved sigh after he paused for a brief second. Which, make Naruto raise one of his eyebrows in curious manner…

The boy asked after he turned around and start to walk away, behind him, the four following him. though, Zabuza walked a bit faster until he's right beside him.
And now Naruto focusing his sight on the man, he can see the obviously fresh wounds on him.
Huh? Will it be problematic, he wonders, after all Mei did say that she's placing those four in his care. If Zabuza getting himself (a Jonin level ninja) wounded, should he give the man his support?

A punch, strong enough to break someone's spine got blocked as Naruto found his fist got grabbed by the person in front of him.
Said man, is someone he had been keeping watch for these last few days.

Illusion became reality right in front of Bee's eyes as the Naruto he grabbed slowly dispersing into few petals of Sakura, followed by the boy's voice heard from his back.
And experiencing this, Jinchuriki of the eight tails, Bee, widened his eyes for a small second before he turned around so that he and Naruto can be face to face.
The boy himself look calm as he leaning his back to the railing, no hint of using Kyuubi's chakra whatsoever in his sky-blue eyes.
Though of course, said blue eyes doesn't hold any playfulness whatsoever, like… at all.
Uncaring of this, Bee simply clapped his hands and do some kind of… pose. One that make Naruto can only blinked his eyes in confusion.
"Yo! I float like a butterfly and sting like a bee! I'm Killer Bee! Don't forget it! OH YEAH!"

Seeing his Jinchuriki brother like this, Naruto can't do anything and become speechless. His body itself suddenly loosening from it's on guarded state.

The elder from her clan have told her about the meeting and all of the possibilities everyone could think of. But honestly, she has a feeling that it won't happen like what they expecting.
Kumo, Iwa and Konoha…
Three villages that's hating each other, coming together in one event with her love acting as catalyst of such a thing.
"… still can't think of anything. I'd better draw some painting"
If something big really were going to happen, at least she will have some stock of painting to use.
Of course, she doesn't really care about Konoha. But she does care about her love and all of the people he cares about, she needs to fight… she must fight if the worse were to happen.

Heard the old man's words, Naruto nodded, knowing what he said is very accurate.

Ninety percent is pretty accurate if he were to say so.
"And if the ten percent were to happen?"

Let's just hope Kumo won't make any move for now, for his, and for their own sake. He honestly doesn't want to fight Octo-pops of all people, now fully knowing his mastery over his tailed beast's chakra is far from Octo-pop's own mastery.

He damn sure he can kill most of them and then use hiraishin as far as he can, maybe to outside of the fire nation.

A rather bad development, but it's pretty expected. Kumo and Iwa is two of the five great villages, they won't leave even the smallest hint of gossip when they haven't even started the exam.

First, there's new village called the sound Village, or Otogakure, with the leader himself is called the Otokage. However, what suspicious about them is the fact most of the ninjas from Sound village looked rather scared when they were asked the identity of said Kage, followed by them refusing said question…
It as if, their Kage is a criminal to the highest degree or something like that.
That's one.
Secondly, and this time come from one of the great five (which honestly, took him by surprise) it seems even though the Kazekage has arrived, he is yet to come out from the room he rented. Some actually said he did, but with clothes covering all of his body part until none showing… whether he's back to his room is not to anyone knowledge, and none asking, because most, if not all of the Suna ninjas doesn't seem that concerned about their Kage's wellbeing.
That's two… and that's all he got from his walk.
A bit boring, because he only got two rumors, but it's still better than nothing. Can't expect to get great stuff every time he walked around now, can't he?
Just as he thinking like this, Naruto saw someone he already closes to, and think as his own sister, stuffing her cheeks with his favorite food, ramen…

If Anko can be honest, she doesn't really understand what Naruto see on this food called ramen.
Oh, of course, the food is good, more so Ichiraku's, but it just can't defeat the deliciousness of dango of all thing.

Slurping the last bit of noodle in her mouth, Anko blinked a few times when she heard her name being called by familiar voice. And when she turned her gaze to left, she sees a rather pleasant sight of her newest friend, Naruto walking to her with a rather calm gait and small smile on his face.

That was what crossed her mind when Anko saw him walking to her. though not showing anything outwardly, she merely waved her hand a few times to answer his call.
Kurenai has gotten herself smitten with the boy, and Yugao of all people followed suit. Which led to two once best friends turn into rival and clash, she doesn't want to put herself in the same situation, no matter how interested she is on the boy.
Plus… he treated her like his own big sister, and she's consent with this.

Anko asked as the boy taking his seat beside her and ordered a bowl of ramen. After all, this is not Ichiraku, so he ordered only one bowl.

He needs to keep his image as good as possible, more so in front of the shop owner that he sells his merchandises to.
He's aiming to be the biggest and most famous trader, and with Gato already gone, said goal is becoming closer. Can't let himself be rude and break the image he already created now.
Gossips can even circle around ninjas, the most secretive of the bunch.

It's like a fucking bloodied meat in the middle of group of frenzied sharks.
Basically said, it's impossible to run away from if he ever got bitten.
Even Gato made sure to circle the whole Wave country with his people before he started oppressing them to made sure no gossip can circulate.

Naruto is honest with that, and sensed no lie in his words, Anko grinned from ear to ear.
She really like a man who won't make her wait long. Because let's be honest here, among the five ice Queens of Konoha, she's easily the most impatient.
She's glad to meet someone like Naruto.
