Those two were really going at it.
Three days ago, hours after he slept, Naruto woke up when he heard some bickering from the living room. Of course, he simply needed to wait for a few minutes before in the end, Kurenai came to the bedroom, Luka following behind her.
Both of them were bruised, a sign of them just fought against each other… and when Luka saw his nude body, she almost exploded and lash out in anger once again.
He stopped them of course, he may be chill when they fought each other outside. But he won't be so chill at all when he sensed a fight going to break out inside a room.
And also, seeing that some of their bones broke, Naruto told both Kurenai and Luka to bit into his hand to heal, nothing perverted about it.
But still, Luka gritted her teeth when Kurenai took her turn with the woman's face blushed red.
She's angry, but probably knowing his antics, she didn't make any fuss for the act… instead, she probably going to give Kurenai some extra attention when they do their brawl again.
A perk of his… perk.
Just as he said again and again, that [Tears of Innocent] are just too broken.
With that in her mind, Luka in the end ignored Kurenai and start to nurse him until her shift time came.
It may be true that she hated Kurenai due to the fact he's going to sleep on the woman's house. But she knew that it was actually a good idea, as she herself going to go on a night patrol, and thus cannot protect him in his vulnerable state.

He doesn't care about their wellbeing. But two of those three is family with his closest people… Sasuke is the son of Mikoto, and Sakura is the little sister of his girlfriend.

Sasuke may be his friend, but their bond was never that good from the first time they met each other, and they always clashed about every little thing, no matter how useless it was. As for Sakura, well, it doesn't need to be said, the girl always belittled him when she got the chance, calling him dummy or stupid was basically a daily routine for her and her little group of friends.
Caring about their safety… should be the least of his concern.

… Iwa was hit by mass heart attacks that day, while Kumo also panicked from the fact the man who can fought with their Raikage had a son.
Thus, ignoring everything, Kumo and Iwa send out their representative to the Chunin exam, in hope to get a glimpse of this Naruto (for Kumo) and to kill him if they gain the chance (for Iwa).
Of course, as Kumo doesn't really want to offend him just in case the boy had sensory ability, they merely told Bee to meet him. while Iwa spread out all of their spies across the Konoha to get the glimpse of him and follow if given the chance.
Kumo had better luck, as they don't have any negative scheme.
As for Iwa, some of their spies has been captured, some killed and some is on the run…
Fortunately for them, Konoha is yet to realize those spies are theirs.
Whatever it was, they have lost a rather big chunk of intellect army only to spy on the boy… without any result.
And now… he came to the exam as if he is the owner of said place, looking at everyone from the top of the railing and merely glanced down at them with his blue eyes, followed by two Jinchurikis from Kumo, smiling with that stupid calm look on his face as he then greets some of the Konoha's elite Jonin after his finished his glance.

Hate is something Naruto feel familiarity with.
Thus, it was easy for him to sense the killing intent send at him as he greets Kakashi, Kurenai and Gai.

From what he can see, there's just too many genins right now… there's no way the final can be done with this many genins from all kind of villages.
The Daimyos will come after all, and it's better to give them nice snow instead of weak ones.

As Naruto asked this, a single man appear in front of the chunin applicants, face look so sickly and looked as if he's going to fall over and die. Though, he's so calm as he put his hands inside his pockets.
"Perhaps they will… after all, ninja can't except fair fight in their line of work. Plus, there's also some of them that just arrived this morning"
It would be more unfair to them.

As Naruto said that, he watches as the man talked about how the ninja need to be in control of their power, to use their power in right time and right moment so they won't waste any power and chakra.
And of course, he also said about how there's just too many of them and they will need to do preliminary matches to cut down their number until twelve people is all that left.
Of course, some raged on and said how unfair it is, but was cut down by the man that said there's no fairness in the world of ninja.

Naruto saw some genins indeed already has downed look.

Of course, one by one, some of the genins choose to give up, each know their own limit and know that they can't no longer push their body forward…. Tired and screaming for rest.
In no times, there's only thirty or so contestants.
And seeing this, Naruto smiled a little.
Konoha's side will get easier win now with some of the contestants out of the way.
Now, it doesn't mean he support Konoha, it just, it would be bad for his reputation if the village where he born become the last place on the battle between the five great villages and few other smaller villages.
He's a business man now… so he needs to act like it.
"Is there any more of you that want to give up?"
As the sickly man said that, he took out a box holding few straws and stares at them. and when a minute passed without anyone back down, the man said his next words…
"If none of you want to give up, then come here and pull a straw"
And thus, Naruto let out a hum as he tapping his feet gently…

Stabbing a lone hirashin kunai on the fence, Naruto ignored the few curious glances he got from the Jonins as he flashed away with a glaring red light.
And not long after that, he flashed in again… this time with a bag of popcorn in hand.

Sweatdrop immediately appeared on the side of Jonins head when they heard his words.

The first match is… well… boring.
Why boring?
Well, Sasuke was fighting against this Yoroi guy that can absorb chakra by touch. And not only Sasuke almost lost because of the seal placed on his neck by Orochimaru, he also almost lost to the darkness from said seal.
How boring and… weak.
To think Sasuke that he thought as rival almost needed to lean on the power not his to defeat a genin of all people.
Well, that alone should be fine, but the Uchiha heir dare to sent him a smug smile when he was in his powered state, when his power merely touched a low Chunin level at the time.
Its fortunately that Kakashi stopped the boy before he can snap that Yoroi kid's arm.
Because if he didn't, then Naruto would've come down himself and beat up Sasuke. His rivalry with the boy demanded such beat down for his smugness.

And just like that, as Zaku destroyed the clone, the bugs inside his gantlets already ate so much of his chakra while the bugs that made up the clone also started to attacking him.
In no time, Shino that almost lost suddenly won, without any scratch.
Now that's… a ninja to him.
"Rather impressive for a genin"
Yeah… Kurenai really trained her genins good.
'Unlike this person…'
Blankly, Naruto gave the masked man beside him the most blank stare he could muster. And probably sensing this, Kakashi raised his head up from his book, smiling lightly at him.

She let out a small sigh of relief as the killing intent from her baby brother starting to calm down.

Just as Temari wanted to focus on her brother's match, she heard another voice from her left… a voice of someone she doesn't recognize at all.

Hell! He's even laughing as he said that.
Of course, what made her heart filled with dread is the fact that Gaara himself was shocked from the look on his eyes. That, and even the sands under his legs are trembling… as if the Shukaku itself was afraid of this boy.
Kyuubi Jinchuriki… her mind realized without being told.
"Who are you?"
Gaara said as he trying to make himself more menacing by glaring at the boy not even taller than him. after all, standing on 4'10, there's very small different between them in height.
And yes, Naruto got taller by 0'1 inch after six months.

Calmly and without any hint of fear on his face, the boy called Naruto released Gaara from his grip and sat on the fence while facing at them, ignoring the match between two genins behind him.
Of course, calm and kind smile on his face.

Naruto winked at Temari, an act that's cute enough to make the girl starting to have a blush on her face. Though, her heart still beating from her fear of him and what could he do to both her and her brother with such speed.

Heard Temari's answer, Naruto nodded at her, as if expecting her to say that in the first place. Though, when he heard Gaara's answer, his smile slightly widened.

Both of the Suna siblings widened their eyes at his answer. Though, while Temari just shocked because she wasn't expecting such nice respond from him, Gaara himself soon recomposing himself and start to narrowing his eyes in anger.
Killing intent start to wash over them as Gaara doing this.

With a small laugh, Naruto shrugged off the killing intent and flicked Gaara on his forehead.

But the result?

The boy was instantly got himself embedded on the wall… his whole body's cracking as his sand armor just can't a take simple hit from Naruto.
Hell… even small amount of blood trailed down from the edge of his lips, a sign of the impact to the wall was strong enough that some of his organs got injured.

Seeing her baby brother got injured so badly, something that she honestly never saw in the first place, Temari took a hold of her fan and stand in front of him, protecting him from Naruto that merely raised one of his eyebrows.
The girl's having her legs trembling in fear, but her glare is there.
"For a Jinchuriki, that was a love tap, you know?"
Naruto decide to say to make sure the girl in front of him doesn't misunderstand. And he was honest with that… Jinchuriki are just far too durable compared to normal ninja. A hit that can broke someone's bone felt normal and doesn't hurt that bad to the Jinchuriki.

"I still won't let you hurt my brother!"
Temari is angry… but also confused by why no one come to her and her brother's rescue despite the attack thrown by this Naruto should've gain everyone's attentions.
One look to the edge of her eyes, Temari realized that Naruto already casted high level genjutsu around them.

Now… that was admirable. Her desire to protect her brother… one that has terrified her for years is just impressive to him.

As Naruto let Temari sat there… having her legs trembles both from how fast Naruto was and from how her own brother almost killed her, he walked to Gaara that having his eyebrows furrowed.
… once again, his sands refuse to obey and merely trembling from Naruto's presence.

No killing intent, no bad intention, but pure curiosity, and once he heard this, Naruto grinned from ear to ear.
Let see how far he can convince Gaara that his way of life all these years is wrong…

Naruto-kun have gained the things he lacked, and thus he's now showing the world how impressive he is.

She still lacks those things she lacks.
Still, these are still tiny if compared to the pain she feels on her heart.
The pain of losing him to other girls.

Honestly, he really wanted to say 'she's weak'. But Naruto already told him that people sometime hide their strength and only show it in critical or important moment.
For example, the one he will face on his match, the one with green jumpsuit…
To him, that boy look weak, and not even worthy to be a ninja with that strange green jumpsuit of his. But Naruto also said that said boy is probably one of the strongest in this preliminary.
Gaara choose to trust his words.
"Well, her heart is in the right place… and with that, I'm sure she can be stronger"
Another thing that Gaara honestly doesn't understand, but he simply nodded to his senior.
He already decided that he doesn't like pain, and thus, he doesn't want to argue and got hit by another 'love tap' of Naruto.

Though, every negative feeling gone and her Byakugan deactivated the moment Naruto appeared in front of her just as she wanted to went downstair, a heartwarming smile on his face.
One that make her heart beat so fast in no time and blood start to go up to her face.

After he greeted her like that, a rather bashful look starts to appear on his face, blushes on his cheeks.
It as if, he's nervous and shy to say what he wanted to say to her.
'I-Is he going to refuse my feeling for him?'
Hinata knew Naruto-kun. He was confident, full of it actually, so for him to shy like this, there's a chance of him already knew her feeling for him.
Not a surprise, as her own teacher that she usually shares her problems on, also loved him.
Love rivals from all sides.

Panting slightly, Hinata wiped off the smallest sweat pooling on her forehead.
Of course, she smiled bashfully when she looked up, the boy she has crush on since childhood is giving her a large smile with a thumb up.

She faced her fear.

He held her in contempt because she lacks strength.
But now she has proved her strength, his animosity should lay down a little, right?

After Hinata and Neji battle, Naruto simply lay down and watches as battle after battle was fought in front of him.
There's nothing impressive though. Some may have impressed him, more so seeing Kurotsuchi with her [Lava release] or Haku that finished his battle as fast as he can using his [Demonic ice mirror] is really something to behold.
But except for those two… along with Gaara's fight with Lee, there's really nothing impressive to see.
Oh right, Gaara was wounded by Lee. Something that made him go crazy and at the end, also crushed the poor boy's right arm and leg.
It would be hard to heal, and even usually positive person like Guy looked mad after he saw the damage done to his student.
Naruto told him if the doctor indeed fails to heal Lee, Naruto will do it in their place, something that calm Guy's anger.
His healing chakra should be able to heal something like few broken bones… there's no need to anger one of the monsters of Konoha if he can help it.
And of course, he also forced Gaara to apologize to Guy for using too much force on his battle, something that Guy answered with a large smile and scream about how youthful it was to apologize to him despite they came from another country.
It was an image of healthy sportsmanship, more so between two allied countries.
From his seat, Naruto saw the troubled faces Temari and Kankuro making… thus, the idea of Suna brewing something isn't that farfetched now.
He smiled…
He already got Gaara, and he also already tagged him with one of his Hirashin seals.
Whatever plan Suna have brewed… Gaara should be their key factor, as he's their only Jinchuriki. There's simply no way their plan doesn't include Gaara, after all.
And with the boy already so close to him, Temari and Kankuro looks hesitant to see him as their enemy.
In this battle… he already won.
