Chapter 4: Viridian City and Team Rocket
Our story continues near the outskirts of Viridian City as our protagonist nears the city he is stopped by Officer Jenny as she asks him for his trainer i.d to verify who he is. He shows her his Pokèdex with the i.d in it, she apologies as she states that there are Pokemon thief's known as Team Rocket an was just making sure. Ash doesn't really care if they couldn't keep
their safe they were weak and pathetic.
He thanks the officer for letting him through as he walks around he notices a gym and walks over to it until a man came up and said "it your looking for a challenge kid your out of luck the gym leaders away." Ash wasn't happy but thanks the man for the information and heads to the Pokemon Center (which is place where trainers can heal their Pokemon after a battle as well as stay here like a hotel) as he enters he walks up to the front desk where Nurse Joy (the one who heals the Pokemon) she greets him as he gives his Pokemon to her as well as asking her to register for the Pokemon League which is a tournament in which trainers who have collected at least eight gym badges and enter.
As she takes the Pokemon she says it will be a while and she leaves with his Pokeballs. He then heads over to the phones wear he calls his Mom to make sure he got here safely and Professor Oak to inform of his capture and he is impressed as the Spearow already knows such powerful moves. After that he hears a noise as nurse joy in forms him that his Pokemon are fully healed he thanks her and takes the Pokeballs and heads back to sit down. As he sits down he decides that tomorrow he will head to Viridian Forest ad then Pewter City for his first gym badge.
As he sits their and thinks he hears the door open as a boy walks in with a Pikachu as he runs to Nurse and gives the Pokemon to her he notices that it and the boy looked hurt. As Ash takes a good look at the boy he knows who this is it was Ritchie a boy from Pallet just like him but he had a different view of Pokemon unlike he method of using them as tools he said that he will treats them with love and care to him that was pathetic. As Ritchie sat down he notices Ash as he tries to go up and talk to him a girl walks in with a charred bike as she sees Ritchie she begins to yell at him about the bike. Ash annoyed at this just gets up and sits at another table away from them.
BBOOOOMMM as smoke emits the whole room two people and a Meowth stood there a man with blue hair and a woman with red as they rehearsed a stupid mantra:
Woman: Prepare For Trouble
Man: And Make It Double
Woman: To Protect The World From Devastation
Man: To Unite All People Within Our Nation
Woman: To Denounce The Evils Of Truth And Love
Man: To Extend Our Reach To The Skies Above
Jessie: Jessie!
James: And James!
Jessie: Team Rocket Blasts In The Speed Of Light
James: Surrender Now Or Prepare To Fight
Meowth: Meowth That's Right!
Ash was surprised 1. at the talking Meowth and 2. The Fact that this was Team Rocket the feared Pokemon. As he then saw them send out two Pokemon which were a: Koffing and Ekans as the Meowth also stepped in to fight. He checked all the Pokemon with The Dex but was disappointed the Koffing and Ekans only knew Two Moves and the Meowth was the most Pathetic It only knew One. He thought how anyone would lose their Pokemon to these guys. Just then the Same Orange Haired girl walked and told them that there was no way they were taking anybody's Pokemon. As she took a PokeBall off her belt and sent out a Staryu. As Ritchie walked and stood next to them with Pikachu(He was healed), Ash sighed and Took out Spearow's PokeBall and sent it out standing next to the two of them as they prepared for Battle.
