Battle For The Pokemon Center and Ash vs Ritchie
Our story pick up at the Viridian City Pokemon Center as Team rocket is now battling the three children. "Use Vine Whip and slam Koffing into the ground" Ash ordered of his starter, as the red haired girl orders her Staryu to use Water Gun on the Ekans as we also see Ritchie telling Pikachu to use Thundershock on Meowth as all attacks hit damaging the Pokemon. James orders Koffing to use Smokescreen as the Toxic Pokemon released a thick fog of black smoke blinding everyone. As Team Rocket uses this to try and cut the power and steal the Pokemon.
Ash then recalls Bulbasaur and sends out Spearow as he orders it to use Whirlwind toblow the smoke away. As this is happening the power cuts as Nurse Joy screams and tells them that without the Power the Pokemon can't get healed. Ash realized that this was a diversion once the Smokescreen is blown away and Jessie and James are gone leaving Meowth and the other two. Ash tell Ritchie to go and use Pikachu to power the Center and deal the Jessie and James while he the the girl take care of the Pokemon.
Ritchie understands and uses Pikachu as a generator by putting wires next to him/taping some to his face as it works as the center starts to get power back. Meanwhile Ash and the girl are battling the Pokemon Ash beats both Koffing and Meowth while the girl finishes of Ekans. As this is happening Team Rocket try to steal the Pokemon with Ritchie but get moves thrown at them as they flee the recall their Pokemon as Meowth gets up but as they try to leave Ritchie and Pikachu come back as Pikachu unleashes the biggest and Strongest Thunder sending them Blasting off but destroying the Pokemon Center.
The Next Morning
We see the ruins of the Pokemon Center as Fire Fighters and The Police on the scene questioning them. After that the three are free to go as Ash prepares to leave Ritchie and the girl stop him and thank him for helping as says think nothing of it as he did not do it to save those Pokemon and frankly he did not care what would happen he was just testing his strength much as the two are shocked he didn't care as the girl yells at him as that is no way to treat people he asks who she even is, she huffs and says her name is Misty Waterflow. He says whatever and begins to walk away but Ritchie stops him saying that he challenges them to a battle. Ash thinks about for a moment and agrees only if they leave him alone.
We then see the three on a flat field as Ash and Ritchie stand on Opposite sides as Misty stands in the middle. As she declares that this will be a one on one match as both trainers present their Pokemon. Ash sends out Bulbasaur as Ritchie sends out Pikachu, "BATTLE BEGIN!" Misty calls as Ritchie orders a Thundershock, Ash orders Bulbasaur to dodge and and strike with Vine Whip, the attack hits damaging the electric mouse a lot. Determined Pikachu gets up as Ritchie smiles and call for a Tackle as it runs at Bulbasaur Ash orders a Tackle of his own as they both hit each other head on dealing plenty on both Pokemon. Ash calls this battle pathetic and says its time to end this as he orders Bulbasaur to grab Pikachu with Vine Whip and slam, it does as it's told and Pikachu is knocked out winning Ash the battle as he recalls Bulbasaur and calls Ritchie and Pikachu Pathetic as he walks away leaving Ritchie and Misty. As he walks outside of Viridian City and enters Viridian Forrest.
