dumpstertrashfire123: Not Yoshikage, but a DIU enemy for sure.

Kosaku Valentine: I agree, Josuke was the best person to do so...also, he isn't a serial killer necessarily, but he is a vile human being.

Boy in new fic: Carl Wheezer!

It was a quaint day outside of the Owson store, the sky's were their regular bizarre yellow, clouds dotted around the sky with the sun just peeking out above the mountains, and all was relatively well.

Well, as 'well' as a multi-universal disaster could be, caused by a cute child who meant well but whose Stand could merge dimensions in a very unhealthy way, causing mass death if not stopped. And in the middle of all of this, Johnny Kujo and Kyoka Jirou were having… issues.

"No."

"Kyo-"

"I'm putting my foot down," Kyoka whispered harshly, her back turned to her boyfriend, arms crossed with an annoyed expression, all the while Johnny was giving her a confused, yet also irritated face.

The two teenagers were currently in the middle of a lover's quarrel, and much to Johnny's annoyance, the purplette was NOT backing down from her stance.

"I think we should bring up my mother in front of Kira, it might be-"

"Two reasons on why that is a shit idea: One, that woman left a lot of scars on everyone who ever knew her. Two... you could set Kira off like Mr. Josuke did and end up with a bloody nose and a lot of hurt feelings," Kyoka interrupted, and even though her face was turned away from him, he could tell she wasn't in the best of moods.

Johnny, equally as stubborn, was not backing down either, and it was to the point where he was pinching the bridge of his nose, though not at all close to losing his cool. He knew where Kyoka was coming from, they both knew that Susan was a massive cunt, but coming from Johnny's perspective, if he could perhaps bridge the gap between Kira and himself, then perhaps they could work together better.

And maybe he could figure out just how she was connected to the Joestars.

"And if I don't?" The former horse jockey started, raising an eyebrow. "Look, all I'm saying, is that maybe if she learns more about me, we learn more about her, and the tension in the air can dissipate, even just a little bit. We have to work with her, and I need context if I am ever going to trust her. Allies who don't trust each other are liabilities, especially with situations like this. You know that Kyoka," Johnny retorted.

"We're working with her fine already! I'm not bringing that bitch into this!" Kyoka snapped right back, still refusing to look at her boyfriend. God, he loved Kyoka to death, but this was getting ridiculous.

"...I understand, I know how she made you feel... but I'm over her now. I have been for a while, and it's mostly thanks to you. I don't have to talk about her with you, but bringing her up around Kira might give us more of an insight on who she really is," Johnny retorted, crossing his arms as he began to put his foot down.

And just like two bulls clashing in an endless brawl, Kyoka charged back with her retort.

"You shouldn't just be throwing around your past like this! I know we joke about her, but that's to each other! Kira is a stranger, from another dimension! You can pretend you're not affected by Cummings, but I know you well enough to know it's bullshit! You didn't get a childhood!"

There was something inside of Johnny that twinged, just a little bit. He sucked in a deep breath, and growled out his next sentence, making it clear that he was not happy about the comment.

"I'm well aware of that," Johnny stated bluntly, his tone of voice sharp and agitated as he narrowed his eyes, resulting in Kyoka lowering her shoulders, realizing the barrier she had crossed.

She pursed her lips, biting her tongue, thinking about her next set of words carefully before continuing with a softer tone of voice. "I know you don't need to be reminded of that... I'm sorry. It's just... spilling the beans to someone you don't trust? This... this is something private, and... it feels like you're being a bit too... dismissive, about what she did."

Johnny calmed himself, gathering his thoughts together, then calmly spoke, the aggravation in his voice leaving as he responded.

"You may be right, pretending I don't care about it isn't exactly healthy... but I need to know more about Kira, and... as much as talking about her seriously will hurt... it might bring a bit of Kira out into the light," Johnny reasoned.

"I'm not comfortable with it. Your past isn't a fucking tool." Kyoka replied, her voice shaky, as were her hands. "I saw what she did to you... did you forget that? I... I almost died, fighting her... she was the first life I have ever taken, and it was so she could never hurt you and your family again, and I'd gladly kill her again," Kyoka said, on the verge of having a mental breakdown as Johnny sucked in a breath.

"Kyoka, I think we should do this-"

"We made a deal Johnny," Kyoka interrupted, looking over her shoulder with anger in her violet eyes. "I've told you that I don't like talking about her, and we agreed that we would only joke about her. Or, if the conversation is inevitable. This is neither of those things!" Kyoka turned around fully, jabbing a finger into Johnny's chest, it was clear that she was starting to get a bit emotional. "I don't want to just start blabbing about my trauma just because you don't trust someone!"

Johnny blinked, finally realizing his colossal fuck up. 'Oh fuck... and here I was, casually talking about this... How could I forget that my mother hurt her too?'

Susan, before her well-deserved demise, had picked up on Kyoka's feelings for Johnny and had decided to torment Kyoka in retaliation. In his mother's demented mind, Johnny didn't deserve love, and anyone who dared to hold affection towards him deserved to be belittled and humiliated. His crackhead mom made the woman he loved suffer, all because she dared to love him back.

In the end... it had been Kyoka who finally banished his mother from his life, both mentally and physically. How could he be so selfish?

"Kyoka, I'm—"

"I know you're sorry," Kyoka cut him off, wiping a tear away from her eye. "I... just need a moment to cool down... I'll talk to you when I'm ready," the purplette said, walking away from the store.

"Take your time..." Johnny said, and Kyoka paused in her retreat.

"...I love you." The purplette said, her back still turned to her boyfriend, and she turned around the corner and into the abandoned ghost alleyway.

"Me too..." Johnny whispered, biting his lip. He so desperately wanted to punch something, but with nothing to punch, Johnny simply stood there, stewing in his stupidity.

Unbeknownst to the quarrelling couple, a certain blond had heard the argument and went outside to investigate.

Yoshihara watched Johnny walk back into the store from the shadows, noticing his ashamed demeanour. What she had just heard had left her with more questions than answers, much to her dismay.

'So... his mother was... sort of like mine...?' The blond thought to herself. 'And Jirou was affected by her… She mentioned that she had to kill... what was her name? Cummings? What kind of name is that? My Jirou probably wouldn't kill anyone, but she hasn't been pushed to the same lengths as this one apparently has. Those scars on her arm, she was sneaking glances at them throughout the whole argument, and I remember Jirou saying she got them from one of the most dangerous opponents she's faced... It was Johnny's mother, wasn't it?' The blond thought, letting out a huff of air from her nose.

Yoshihara leaned back into the wall, still deep in thought about the newly acquired information. Earlier, Izuku had told her that Johnny's mother was crazy, but it was now obvious that was extremely watered down. She and Johnny Kujo might have come from similar places...

And yet, he seemed to be in a better place than her. Friends that were willing to die for him, a girlfriend that said 'I love you' immediately after an argument, and an uncle that, despite getting on Yoshihara's nerves last night, seemed like a pretty nice man.

However, she felt... unnerved by his willingness to use his past to learn about hers. Perhaps... he was trying to get her to understand him? That seemed like the most likely answer. Yoshihara was always good at reading people, and she could tell that Johnny was far from a bad person. There was no way Izuku would be so attached to this guy if that was the case.

'I'm not going to go into detail about my past... he's not going to get that out of me any time soon. There is nothing he can say to get that out of me. However, no matter how much I may be on edge, all of this mistrust is harming our chances of finding that kid and Josefumi's and my chances at going home.

Perhaps I… should work on being a bit more friendly with them. If not for that not to happen again, but for my chances at getting home.

Kyoka sighed, putting her face in her hands.

"I'm so stupid..." The purplette was beating herself up mentally for doing something, well, stupid. But to be fair, who wouldn't get defensive about something like that! Although, she could see the flaws in what she had done.

She escalated the argument, all because she couldn't handle Susan being brought up in such a manner. It was a sensitive subject, and while she was more than willing to ridicule the woman...

A serious conversation about her just didn't feel like it should be public, and bringing it up around someone they didn't exactly trust?

What was he thinking?

Of course, Kyoka already knew the answer. It was the price of being in love with a Joestar, it's in Johnny's blood to try and find solutions for problems... even if those solutions were painful. Deep down, she knew that it probably would work too, but she just wouldn't be able to go through with it.

Yet, despite being angry at him, she already wanted to apologize.

'God fucking damnit... how is it that two stubborn idiots can get along so well? I don't agree with his idea, but I already want to run back into his arms like a giddy schoolgirl... Oh, God... Have I become a giddy schoolgirl?!'

Kyoka was tough, and she didn't take anyone's shit. That was true even when she was struggling with her self-worth, as evidenced by Susan herself. The woman had done everything in her power to make Kyoka feel like shit, even during their final confrontation, and yet she had never shown her weakness to anyone before that point...

Other than Johnny, and later Gyro.

Her fight with Susan was when she was at her weakest, her most vulnerable... and talking about the woman reminded her of that. Eventually, after a while, feeding someone's self-doubts and making them feel worthless would cause someone to snap.

Hence, Susan is dead.

Yet... despite her tough nature... Johnny Kujo always brought out her gentle side. Of course, Kyoka wasn't a complete hardass, her kindness was one of her best traits... but Johnny had brought out a whole new vulnerability from within her...

Her love for him was both a strength and a weakness. She drew inspiration from him, but she could also be hurt by him, and their relationship progressed to the point where she knew Johnny was in the same boat when it came to her.

Every argument hurt more than any bullet wound, every time they weren't on the same page, it was like DIO used The World to donut her and rip out her heart. Being in love fucking sucks... and doesn't at the same time.

'Life is full of contradictions, huh?' Kyoka thought to herself and snuck a peek into the store. Johnny was stewing in the back, clearly overthinking ways to apologize and compromise.

That was the way she and Johnny handled things whenever they were at odds about something. First, the apology, then the compromise. Whenever a problem arose, that was their first instinct, to find a middle ground.

Kyoka couldn't help but smile upon seeing how serious Johnny's face looked, and her cheeks turned a light shade of pink. He was a problem solver after all, and to him... an argument with her was a top priority. He valued her over his suspicions about Kira any day.

Despite the problems love causes... at the end of the day, there could be no greater euphoria than knowing that they love you back.

Kyoka sighed. 'We should really discuss the compromise together... I'm going back in.'

"Nice weather we're having."

Kyoka paused at the door. The voice behind her was unfamiliar...and her gut was telling her that it wasn't exactly friendly. "And who the hell are you?"

"One of Josuke's old friends...you mind if I come in?"

"Sorry.. .that's a no from me," Kyoka turned around with her fists clenched. The man standing across from her had a head of silverish white hair. He had a tan complexion, light blue eyes, and a coat that had the word 'ENIGMA' printed on it. "Unless Mr. Josuke vouchers for you, you aren't getting in."

"You're... Earphone Jack, right? They mentioned Josuke had an apprentice of sorts nowadays," The man said, glancing into the store, only for Kyoka to step into his line of view. "Come on, you wouldn't want to disappoint your mentor by treating a friend of his like this, would you?"

"That's a manipulation tactic if I've ever heard one," Kyoka responded with a snarl, and in response, the man scoffed.

"You're pretty sharp," The man complimented. "No wonder Josuke keeps you around. My name is Terunosuke Miyamoto, also known as—"

"The Enigma Boy. Mr. Josuke tells me a lot of stories... plus, you're wearing your fucking name. Here to scare me? Did Karl send you?" Kyoka interrogated as Terunosuke frowned.

"He saved me from my fate. Josuke Higashikata was going to turn me into a boo—"

"You're going to wish you were a book if you don't fuck off." Kyoka snapped, cutting him off. Terunosuke sighed, and pulled out a piece of paper. "Nuh-uh, don't you dare open that! I'm onto you!"

The Enigma Boy smiled, knowingly, and turned the paper around. Kyoka's heart skipped a beat upon seeing that he had written 'Yoshikage Kira' on it. "Surely you know who this man is?"

"Y-yes... but there's no way—"

"All I have to do is open it, and I guarantee a pretty young woman such as yourself wouldn't last too long."

"I'm not afraid to die..."

"But he'll see it happen," Terunosuke pointed towards Johnny, who still wasn't aware of the conversation taking place outside. "Karl told me all that I need to know... can you imagine what watching you die would do to him? The last time he ever sees you being in an argument? Oh, the overwhelming guilt he would undoubtedly feel!" Teronsouke said a vindictive sneer on his face as Kyoka began to sweat.

"Y-you don't have Yoshikage Kira, you're bluffing," Kyoka said, defiant, but the thought of Johnny suffering, even more, had put her on edge. And then, she began to twirl her left jack out of nervousness.

"You twirl those ears of yours when you're nervous, don't you?" the boy asked, a purple hue glowing around him, a predatory smile on his face as his eyes narrowed.

Kyoka's eyes widened. "No...!"

Her jack was already wrapped around her finger in mid-twirl... she didn't even know she was doing it.

Enigma, Terunosuke's stand, came at her instantly. While she knew it was hopeless, she still tried to fight back, her jacks stabbing towards the enemy stand. More and more, the world began to look like a piece of abstract art, a clear sign she was turning into paper.

So, she did the only thing that came to mind.

"JOOOOOJOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" She called for Johnny at the top of her lungs, desperately hoping for some kind of glimpse at him before she was lost to the pages.

Then, just before everything went dark, her partially exposed jack caught something from within the folds.

His voice. Calling out for her, and getting closer.

All the fear in her subsided upon hearing it, and Kyoka smiled from within the folds.

Love was both a strength and a weakness.

"Give her back," Johnny said, quietly, as Terunosuke put Kyoka's piece of paper in his pocket. "If you want to live, give her back."

"So...this is Josuke's nephew. I can see the family resemblance! Same rugged good looks, same fire in your eyes too. Honestly, you could dye your hair black and comb it into a pompadour, and you could almost be a clone!"

"I'm not asking again." Johnny's voice was cold, unforgiving, and honestly rather intimidating to the Enigma Boy. It was clear that he was much deadlier of a foe than Josuke was, this Joestar would kill him if he didn't comply with his demands, no mercy would be shown to him. "Give her back...NOW!"

"You really love her, don't you? Aww...what an adorable teenage romance! However, you aren't the one who should be making demands!" Terunoske taunted. "Her life is now in my hands, along with Izuku Midoriya's!"

Well, if there wasn't murderous intent coming from Johnny before, there certainly was now. After all, this man had the love of his live and his childhood friend in the palm of his hand. "You asking for death, you bastard? I am not pulling your leg, I will shoot you here and now."

"You should've seen Midoriya's face when he saw me. Who knew all I needed to do was put a goat skull on my head to scare him?"

Johnny was about to step forward but felt a hand on his shoulder. "Easy Johnny... provoking you is this asshole's whole game." Josuke said, glaring at Terunosuke. "Threatening Kyoka wasn't smart, Enigma Boy. I never thought I'd have to deal with you again... but I probably should've guessed one of my old enemies would show up, with Magenta Magenta running around."

"Josuke...you're old."

"I'm 30!" Josuke snarled. "Still threatening the people I care about?"

"30? And you still have that ridiculous hairstyle?"

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT MY HAIR, MOTHERFUCKER?!" Now Johnny was the one restraining his uncle. "I'LL KILL YOU!"

"Uncle Josuke! Listen to your own damn advice!" Johnny yelled, and Josuke settled down but was noticeably more livid. "Let's focus on saving the other two..."

"Right,"

"What the hell is all this yelling for?!" Yoshihara stuck her head out of the grocery store entrance, annoyed. "It's six in the... who is that?"

"An old enemy of mine... brought here by Karl. He has Kyoka and Midoriya as hostages." Josuke said, darkly.

Yoshihara narrowed her eyes, and stepped out of the grocery store, summoning Killer Queen. "He has Midoriya? And Jirou?"

Johnny couldn't help but notice the slightest tinge of worry in Yoshihara's tone when she said Izuku's name, while for Kyoka she seemed to show mild concern. Right, Izuku is pretty much her best friend in their universe, it makes sense that she would care for him in some way.

"You see, I fully intend to paperize all of you. That kid saved me from my fate, and I won't have that be undone" The Enigma Boy stated. "You all are the only thing preventing me from turning into a book for all of enternity! I won't let you undo Karl's crossover!"

"It's destroying the world, idiot. Surely you must see that." Yoshihara replied. "Your fate is-"

"I don't care, Diet Kira!"

"Diet? What do you mean by that?!" Yoshihara asked, offended.

"It doesn't matter, you won't live long enough to hear the answer!" Terunosuke responded, and took the paper labelled with Yoshikage's name. He opened it, and an entire bus came flying at the three, along with a terrified driver.

"TUSK: ACT 4!"

"ORA!"

Tusk emerged from Johnny's back and punched the front of the bus with one hand, and rescued the driver, who had been thrown through the windshield, with the other. Its gold-plated fist stopping the vehicle in its tracks.

Yoshihara could only stare, trying to register the full size of Johnny's stand. It towered over its user, casting a protective shadow over the whole group. While she had gotten bits and pieces on how Johnny was a powerhouse, she didn't expect his stand to be such a heavily armoured tank. Tusk opened its mechanical jaw, and blue smoke poured out as it let out a thundering roar.

"CHUMIMIIIIIIIIIIIIN!"

This stand wasn't one to be messed with, that was certain. She had no idea with its ability could be, but its physical prowess alone was enough of a threat.

Tusk punched the wrecked vehicle aside and began hovering over to the Enigma Boy, radiating killing intent. Its long, skirt-like structure around its waist billowed in the wind as it approached their enemy, and it began cracking its knuckles in preparation for a beatdown.

"Wow...your stand is...neat..." Terunosuke said, one of his eyes closed as the gargantuan stand stopped directly in front of him. "I-I have t-to admit...I-I am scared shitless of th-that thing...but it doesn't matter."

"GIVE. THEM. BACK." Johnny said through his stand, Tusk's eyes glowing bright with malice.

"In what condition?"

"Johnny... be careful... " Josuke put a hand on his nephew's shoulder. "This bastard is willing to do just about anything to scare you."

"Tusk can keep up with my father's Star Platinum, and your Crazy Diamond. It's too fast for him, it'll stop him before he tries anything." Johnny replied. "That's why it's so close to him."

"Unless... I already did something."

Both Johnny and Tusk gasped in unison as Terunosuke pulled out Kyoka's paper, which was on fire. Josuke stepped forward, trying his best not to show how terrified he was.

Yoshihara was staring at the flaming paper and then turned to look at Johnny. It was clear just by looking at him that he was truly terrified.

"Kujo, it's a trick." She said, and Johnny turned to look at her, she could see the terror in his eyes. "He knows you love her, he's using it to his advantage. I know it's hard... but if you succumb to fear, it's only your uncle and me."

"I-I'm...trying..." Johnny replied. "It's just a load of bullshit, there's no way..."

Yoshihara had always had mixed feelings about Johnny Kujo, but at that moment, seeing him go through mental torment such as this... it was making her really mad.

'This asswipe is torturing him! Using someone he loves to break him, this bastard is pure evil!' Yoshihara thought to herself, looking at the Enigma Boy with a mixture of hatred and disgust. He makes me sick...

'He reminds me of her.'

"She's in pain... Kujo. I can hear her sobbing out your name, begging you to come to save her," Terunosuke taunted, waiting for Johnny to slip up. "Her flesh is slowly burning away...the more you wait, every agonizing second you waste, she gets a bit quieter. All I can hear is pitiful moans: 'JoJo, JoJo I love you.'"

"Stop..." Johnny begged, his forehead coated in sweat.

Terunosuke continued to mimic Kyoka. "'JoJo... I'm... sorry...' Oh... what do you know? She's gone quiet."

At that moment...

Johnny broke.

Tusk grabbed the burning paper out of Terunosuke's hand as Johnny began hyperventilating, his face a mask of what Yoshihara could only describe as true terror. It was painfully clear what was happening, as she had experienced these herself.

He was having a full-blown panic attack, struggling to catch his breath as tears came flying out of his eyes. Yoshihara couldn't take her eyes off of Johnny as he desperately ripped the flaming paper open, and was met with a purple wig.

It was all a cruel joke.

Josuke grabbed his nephew by the shoulders and pulled him into a hug, shushing the terrified Joestar and comforting him, even as Johnny was turning into paper. He continued to hold him, until Johnny was eventually just a fold of paper in Terunosuke's hands.

Yoshihara met Josuke's eyes as he was getting up, and they were filled with tears...but also something else.

Josuke Higashikata was enraged, even more so than if someone had insulted his hair. "Terunosuke Miyamoto...you wanted to avoid your fate right? You don't want to become a book? Fine... I'LL JUST KILL YOU!"

"GO AHEAD AND TRY HIGASHIKATA! I'VE GOT YOUR NEPHEW AND YOUR APPRENTICE IN THE PALM OF MY HAND! ONE FALSE MOVE AND THEY'RE DEAD!" Terunosuke yelled right back.

"YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD! NOBODY MESSES WITH MY FAMILY, NOBODY!" Josuke screamed, summoning an equally enraged Crazy Diamond.

The fight was only getting started.

At first... all Josuke had was his mother and grandfather. It was the only family he had, and back then...the only family he needed.

And then he met Jotaro Kujo, and everything changed. The summer of '99 had opened up tons of new doors. He met his father, who turned out to be a good man, although he was also pretty mischievous, and began a relationship with him. He met Okuyasu and Koichi, both of whom became his closest friends to this day.

He learned about the Joestar bloodline, and all the good his father's side of the family did for the world and embraced his heritage. He went from a small family to a large one, and he was grateful he had so many people he could care for.

Even Giorno Giovanna, who came into the picture a little late, was dear to him.

Josuke met Johnny after he graduated high school. At that point, the boy had gone to live with Josuke's father, Joseph Joestar, due to some... problems at home.

It took a while for Johnny to warm up to him. The boy was damaged, deprived of love, and reluctant to put his trust in people. Jotaro, while having good intentions, was an absent father due to having so many enemies...and thus Johnny was left alone with his demon of a mother.

However, love won in the end. Slowly, the little boy's smile began to show, with Joseph and Suzi Q raising him as he should've been from the beginning, and Josuke was proud to be along for the ride.

After the years went by... Johnny was finally reunited with his father and sister, and he gained a new uncle in Giorno, everything just felt... right.

But wounds could not be healed by words alone, and deep down... Johnny was still haunted by his mother. An argument between them had reawakened the darkness in his nephew...

An argument, which Kyoka had later told him, involved Susan saying, "God took the wrong son," in reference to Johnny having supposed to be a twin.

In the end, it was the girl he had taken under his wing that had finally freed Johnny from that darkness, Kyoka not only gave Johnny hope for the future but also put an end to Susan for good. He loved her like family... because it was likely she was going to be.

Johnny hadn't had a panic attack since the Steel Ball Run... and it was painfully obvious what had just happened.

If something happened to Kyoka, all the progress Johnny made would be undone. As strong as his nephew was, the girl who had given him renewed purpose meant everything to him. Johnny would fall even deeper into despair than he ever had before.

Josuke knew the couple like the back of his hand. Johnny and Kyoka didn't just love each other, deep down, they needed each other.

To see Johnny in such a state... it made Josuke's blood boil.

"DORARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARA!" Crazy Diamond pursued Terunosuke instantly, fists blazing, but the enemy stand user simply turned himself into paper to float away from the attack.

Josuke wasn't even speaking clearly anymore, he was just screaming.

Objects were raining down on them, Terunosuke had folded plenty of ammo in preparation for a fight, he was ten times more prepared than he was the last time he fought Josuke, but it didn't matter in the slightest to the enraged Joestar.

Yoshihara narrowly avoided a set of knives as she took cover behind a picket fence. 'He's gone nuts! Mr. Higashikata isn't thinking rationally anymore, hell, I doubt he's really thinking at all!' The blond thought to herself.

Despite the incident that happened between them, Josuke had always seemed like a good-natured individual. She punched him in the face, and he never raised a finger in retaliation.

It's just as they say: Always fear the wrath of a patient man.

"COME BACK HERE YOU DIIICKBAAAAAAAAAAAG!" Josuke screamed.

There's no use trying to talk him out of it, Mr. Higashikata is beyond reason right now... I'm the only person left standing who can keep a calm head about this. Yoshihara ducked into the battle, using Killer Queen to swat aside a flying textbook, and began making her way through the storm of origami and miscellaneous projectiles, trying to locate the enemy.

He's hiding in one of these pieces of paper... I can't shoot recklessly, or I could blow up one of my allies.

In the hailstorm, a bloodied Josuke was opening pieces of paper in an attempt to either find Terunosuke, or the other three. In his rage, he had ignored the attacks that were being thrown his way, there was no way of telling if he even registered the pain.

The guy had a knife lodged in his pompadour, something that he clearly prized judging from his near-constant grooming of it, and didn't even bat an eye.

If his game is fear, perhaps I can turn the tables. It will be risky though...

"WHERE ARE YOU?! COME OUT AND FACE ME, COWARD!" Josuke yelled in the middle of the hailstorm, and Terunosuke emerged from a sheet of paper, grinning sadistically.

"When I heard about my fate, from Karl, I was mortified. To think... you didn't even kill me, you turned me into a book! That's a fate worse than death, and for what?! Scaring your mother? Was all of that justified?"

"IT SURE IS NOW!"

"Oh no Josuke, this is my revenge. I'm going to rip your nephew and his girlfriend apart, for real, right in front of you," The Enigma Boy adopted a serious expression, holding up two pieces of paper. "This isn't a scare tactic Higashikata, I want to make you suffer for what you were going to do to me."

Josuke was snapped out of his rage in an instant. He knew a genuine threat when he heard one. This manipulative bastard was actually going to kill his kids.

"I believe you."

Both men turned to find Killer Queen extending its pointer finger out at Terunosuke, Yoshihara standing behind it with a cold glare on her face. Josuke involuntarily shuddered, remembering when that same glare was directed at him, by Yoshikage.

"You saying something Kira?"

"I believe that you'll kill them, you have been nothing but a heartless bastard this whole time, playing with their minds like it's all some silly game. What you did to Kujo was unforgivable... why wouldn't someone like you take it a step further? Well... go ahead and try... but Killer Queen will reduce you to ash before you do," Yoshihara said, her tone emotionless, her eyes glazed over, and a menacing black smoke-ish aura rising off of her.

Just. Like. Yoshikage.

Terunosuke blinked, turned to look at Josuke, and then at Yoshihara. "I have their lives in the palm of my hand, Kira."

"I know," Kira spat in response.

"I could kill them at any time," Ternosuke taunted.

"I'll repeat... you'll be dead before you do," Kira responded in kind.

Terunosuke pulled out a pair of scissors from one of his papers and held them perilously close to the two. Then, he pulled out a third. "You care for Izuku Midoriya, don't you? Karl's told me all about your history... I know he's a different version, but Midoriya is still Midoriya, no? Would be a pretty big shame if I had to make a paper snowflake out of him."

Yoshihara smirked, but it was a smirk that indicated killing intent. Her eyes became murderous. "If that was supposed to scare me, I hate to disappoint... but now I'm mad."

"Well, it was worth a shot...but I believe I said I was serious this time." Terunosuke put all three of the papers into the blade of the scissors and was just about to cut...

BOOM!

A small rotating bubble slammed into the scissors, blowing up instantly. The charred remains of the scissors fell to the ground, along with Terunosuke's fingers.

The enemy stand user screamed and clutched at what was left of his hand, blood spurting everywhere. Crazy Diamond snatched the papers from midair, and opened one of them up, causing Kyoka Jiro to fall out of it and onto her face.

"Ow."

"Holy shit... he was actually serious..." Josuke said, helping his prodigy up and crushing her in a hug.

"Double ow..."

Terunosuke was crying, both from pain and from terror, as Yoshihara approached him. Killer Queen grabbed him by the shirt and lifted him clean from the ground, bringing him to eye level with the blond.

"Where's the kid?"

"Y-yo-"

"Where's the kid?" Yoshihara repeated, calmly. Her quiet, simmering anger scared him even more than Josuke's rage did.

"Th-the Morioh G-Grand H-Hotel...I-I... may have encouraged h-him to fight against y-you, I a-am only one of the enemies you will face..."

"Just as we thought," Josuke muttered, unfolding Izuku back into existence.

"Thank you."

Yoshihara set the villain down and walked back to the others, while Terunosuke used his good hand to pull out another sheet of paper, pointing it directly at Yoshihara as she retreated.

'You thought you won, didn't you Kira? No, I refuse to become a book! You must be afraid of something, I know it! I know...how about meeting the same fate as Yoshikage!'

"Kira, he's openin—!"

"I know," Kira said, interrupting Johnny, looking over her shoulder as Josuke's eyes widened with horror at Killer Queen balling its hand up into a fist, raising its thumb over it like the Stand was about to click a bomb detonator.

Terunosuke flung open the paper, and an ambulance came flying out. It came close to Yoshihara. However, as if a wave of Deja-Vu hit Josuke, he could swear that he heard the voice of the person who terrorized Morioh come out of Yoshihara.

"Killer Queen has already touched him."

Terunosuke noticed the thumb and came to the same realization, screaming as it came down. "NOOOOOOO—!"

*click*

Crazy Diamond intervened, putting itself between Yoshihara and the ambulance as Killer Queen detonated the Enigma Boy with a resounding BOOM!

Josuke grunted, sweating as his stand slowly set the ambulance back down, silently finding the irony of the situation amusing. He... of all people, had just saved a Kira from getting crushed by an ambulance.

Kyoka and Izuku just gave each other blank looks, before Johnny threw his arms around the purplette from behind, startling her. Kyoka smiled and patted his cheek. "Easy there JoJo, I'm alright."

"You had a panic attack?" Kyoka asked softly. They were all still outside, recovering from the rather emotional fight.

"As soon as I thought I lost you... I couldn't control myself, I haven't had one of those in so long... " Johnny admitted. "And... with our last conversation having been... "

"No... no, don't think like that. It's one stupid little disagreement, and I was the one being overdramatic. If you want to bring up your mother around her...you can...just, be careful not to overshare." Kyoka consoled him, cupping his cheek with her palm. "You and I rarely fight, I get it...but even when we do, I love you. I'll always forgive you too..."

"I just...can't lose you. I know it's a bit cliche and all...but I need you in my life, Kyoka. I said it when Nine almost killed you, and I'll say it now...I...I need you."

"...I need you too. I know that I'm a strong independent woman and all—"

"No one actually calls themselves that," Johnny interrupted Kyoka, deadpanning as the purplette continued.

"—but I don't see how I could be happy without you. This is... the cheesiest conversation I've ever had, but I think it's a necessary one. We... I can't believe I'm saying this... we complete each other,"

"Disgusting."

"It is."

"Also true."

"I agree."

"Cheesy as hell, though."

"I am so sorry that I scared you today... I feel terrible." Kyoka said, her eyes pointing towards the ground. "You know how I hate it when you cry..."

"I'm more embarrassed now than anything. I became a bawling mess in front of Kira," Johnny groaned, smacking himself in the forehead. "She probably thinks I'm a wimp."

"She saved us today, you know."

"Yeah... I do. Like I said before, I don't think she's evil. She makes me feel a little off, yes, but I think she's most likely an ally," Johnny said, frowning. "I just wish I knew a little bit more about her, just to be sure..."

Meanwhile, Yoshihara was helping Josuke wrap his wounds. "So... if you can heal others, why not yourself?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, genuine confusion in her expression.

"I can't, it's one of my many limitations," Josuke replied.

"And yet you still fight."

"That's... just who I am. Thanks for stepping in while I was going crazy back there," Josuke said earnestly. "I don't think we would've won if you hadn't managed to keep a calm head."

"Well, I was surprised by your... rampage back there. That seemed like the polar opposite of you."

"...it only really happens when someone insults my hair, or when my family is being threatened." Josuke turned to look at Johnny and Kyoka, both of whom were laughing over some unheard joke. "They're both family to me... so I lost my cool."

"You're a good man, they're both lucky to have you," Yoshihara said, a small twinge on her lip that could be equated to a smile.

Josuke turned to look at Yoshihara, legitimately touched by the compliment. "Thanks, Kira... you know, you aren't so bad yourself."

She had saved the people dearest to him after all... it was safe to say that Yoshihara Kira, despite sharing a name and a stand with his old nemesis, had earned his respect...

She was still a little sketchy though.

"Uh... guys?" Izuku asked, peering through the glass door of OWSON. "Both Gyro and Josefumi are still sleeping."

"They didn't wake up at all? After all of that ruckus we just caused?" Josuke asked.

"We nearly fucking died, and they're just napping away in there?!" Kyoka added on, incredulously.

"Yeah…" Midoriya shrank into himself, and that was when both Kyoka and Kira looked at one another. The blond cracked her neck, walking away from Josuke, who was concerned for a few moments. Kira walked into the OWSON, the rousings of Josefumi were heard, and then a loud crashing sound.

The purplette then cracked her knuckles, and walked inside, following in Kira's footsteps. As the saying goes, great minds think alike.

For those that are confused, no, the Enigma Boy's death will not have an effect on the timeline. Fate isn't something that is easily broken, so when he died, it simply sent him back to his status as a book.
