Author's note: Two chapters in one day after neglecting this story. Sorry dear readers.

Just letting you know it isn't going to be one of those fics where the majority of the story takes place in the chamber.

Chichi's head jolted back at the statement and slowly she took a step back almost in disbelief.

What could he mean by that?

Kami gently yet firmly put his hands on her shoulders.

"Allow me to explain." He pleaded, sensing her urge to want to run away. Chichi silently nodded.

"The man you're engaged to is a fierce warrior and Prince of an almost extinct alien race as he said he is, but he isn't the innocent man he painted himself out to be..."

"Why in blazes is this earth marriage outfit so restricting?" Demanded Vegeta as Yamcha fixed his tie for him.

The Saiyan had on a black suit and was just waiting on Yamcha's finishing touch.

Yamcha chuckled.

"Well, what were you expecting, pal? It's made to make you look sharp. Not make you comfortable."

Vegeta growled, ignoring the logic.

"In Saiyan custom royals just wear armor for the wedding."

Yamcha snickered.

"Well, this is earth, Vegeta and you're marrying an earth princess. When in Rome, right?" He grinned sympathetically. "Just remember you want to make her happy. alright?"

Vegeta's forehead in bitter agreement wrinkled and Yamcha took a step back, done with Vegeta's tie and giving him a once over.

"You think dressing like this will make Chichi ...happy?" Vegeta questioned in confusion.

Yamcha gave a whistle in approval and laughed.

"Heck ya, bud. Just turn around and look! Looking mighty snazzy. You clean up great. Chichi won't know what hit her."

Vegeta slowly turned around and stared at himself in his reflection.

He didn't think he looked particularly more better looking than usual.

But by earth customs...perhaps I do?

Kami's world shattering words played nonstop in Chichi's mind as she walked down the aisle. She was dressed in her wedding gown, and the ox king blubbered loudly as he walked beside her, her hand resting on his large arm. Happy and sad tears streamed down the king's face, knowing his daughter was not his baby girl anymore.

The other z warriors were in the sea of standing wedding attendants. She could see them as she walked. They were mostly sloppily and quickly dressed in suits and ties. Krillian's black tie was almost hilariously crooked compared to the others.

Chichi's eyes scanned the crowd, looking for the one friend that was missing. Something in her gut told her to look up and when she did she almost had to laugh despite the stress she was feeling and the ice that had replaced the blood in her veins.

Goku was sitting crossed-legged on Nimbus, dressed in a suit just as sloppily as the others, but also practically inhaling a giant dinosaur leg as he intently watched her and her dad walk.

Typical Goku. Chichi mentally laughed.

She was now too close to reasonably not look his way without suspicion. She steeled herself and her eyes went to look at the end of where the aisle was leading her to.

Her brown eyes landed on the Saiyan prince who was waiting for her there, this warrior was not poorly dressed like the other fighters. His suit looked almost like it had been ironed as he wore it: Without wrinkles and wonderfully fitted.

Her heart of its own volition quickened, despite herself at his handsome appearance and the look Vegeta was giving her. with a smirk his bright eyes spoke to her and told her it was as if to him she was the only woman that existed in all the world and that he couldn't be more proud to have her as his wife.

"You didn't fall in love with a monster he was. You fell for the man Vegeta is capable of being: Who he has started to be since knowing you." Once again Kami's voice spoke to her, but this time with the volume raised at the highest it's ever been.

Chichi was standing beside him now, her father politely stepping away and to the side at his rightful place.

the ox king's absence from her made her feel exposed. Like an animal feeding out in the open and at any moment a predator could attack.

Chichi's heart pounded in her chest, this time out of the guilt that filled her.

"That earthling called Yamcha told me what I'm wearing is something earth women find attractive. Is that correct?" Vegeta questioned loudly enough for only her to hear as the woman Bulma had hired to marry them began to loudly thank everyone for attending.

The unexpected and unusual question jolted Chichi out of her inner torment, causing her to burst out into a small fit of giggles.

"Because of Vegeta's circumstances in life, he grew up and was raised by his vile father and then Freiza to have a heart of ice. By Saiyan tradition and Frieza's rule he was made early on to be a merciless killing machine, but you have managed to change him. You're changing him it at his very core.

You're changing him for the better and in ways he hadn't thought possible. Nor did I. Remorse is slowly starting to appear in his mind, but he pushes it away and refuses to acknowledge it."

"Yes, Yamcha isn't wrong." She confessed bashfully, causing Vegeta to stand a bit straighter with an overconfident grin.

"He does love you princess."

She heard as Vegeta placed the shimmering ring on her finger after.

Everything in the wedding procedure seemed to have rushed passed her as it went on, as Chichi battled between being filled with guilt and being bewitched by Vegeta and the proceedings.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride!" Proclaimed the wedding officiant.

Vegeta's face momentarily flashed a shade of pink as he considered all the earthlings staring at them before he boldly took Chichi's face in his hands and kissed her.

.

.

.

Chichi breathed in Vegeta's scent as she nuzzled her face comfortably into the crook of his neck as he carried her. The newly married saiyan flew steadily to Kami's look out as he carried his wife in his arms. He was back to wearing sweats and a tank top, gladly free of the restricting clothing he had been wearing while Chichi still had on her wedding gown

He looked down at her briefly, a small smile spreading on his face as he looked back ahead in the distance.

Meanwhile chichi drank in the moment, wanting to forget all about the guilt that had been eating away at her earlier.

Just do what Kami said to do, Chichi! The princess scolded herself.

He's earth's guardian! If he says to do it its probably the right thing to do!

Despite her inner conscience voicing the opposite, she ignored the part of herself that wasn't convinced.

Without thought, Chichi let out a displeased sigh at the thought she hadn't been able to completely enjoy her wedding as she had dreamed she would have as a little girl.

Vegeta, hearing her sigh misinterpreted it as a sign she was tired.

"What is it? Need to take a nap, woman?" Vegeta questioned. A lot had happened today, so he wouldn't be surprised if she did need to lay down for a while.

"Hmm?" Chichi blinked after opening her eyes. A few seconds passed before she understood.

"Oh! Uh perhaps." She lied nervously with a laugh.

At her words with determination, Vegeta increased his speed, choosing to forget the others following behind him, wanting her to get some rest as soon as possible back at Kami's place.

.

"Finally." Piccolo stated bitterly as he broke free of his meditation, just as Vegeta landed on the lookout.

Vegeta chuckled and sneered at Piccolo.

"How amusing. The Namekian has got his panties in a bunch."

"PANTIES!?" Roared Piccolo with a vein bulging on his forehead. Immediately Piccolo's hands went over his lips as his mouth audibly snapped shut in embarrassment once he realized what he had just shouted out loud.

Kami and Popo who were smiling warmly at the married couple's return blushed from secondhand embarrassment.

Chichi covered her mouth in an attempt to stifle her giggles while Vegeta cockliy smirked.

"Vegeta, you're so prideful that you let your pride blind you from logic, you idiot!" Growled Piccolo.

Vegeta's eyes burned with anger in return at Piccolo's words as he set Chichi carefully down.

"Mind that tongue of yours, Piccolo." Vegeta cruelly said, clenching a fist. "I already warned you once."

Piccolo gritted his teeth.

"Fine! By all means. If you two want to be stupid enough to waste precious time having a big ol' marriage ceremony instead of a quick marriage in order to start training as soon as possible to defend earth then that's your business. Screw earth and the rest of us."

Vegeta chuckled in return as piccolo quickly turned, his cape rising in the air behind him as he quickly began making his way to the time chamber.

"Congratulation's you two." Kami stated, bringing a smile to Chichi's face after being left condemned by Piccolo.

"Thank you, Kami." Chichi said with a bow to the green elder. "I couldn't help but notice that piccolo is heading back to the time chamber. Does that mean.."

Kami nodded.

"Yes, I chose your group to train first."

Chichi nodded in understanding.

"Did somebody say panties?" Came Master Roshi's voice.

The others who had been following Vegeta had arrived, Goku arriving first and then the others arriving seconds later in Bulma's plane. Roshi's head was sticking out the doorway, staring at those on the lookout. Bulma, standing directly behind Roshi and not liking his question kicked him off the plane.

"Move it, old man. It's just you being your old perverted self. Hearing things you just want to hear." Bulma said with furrowed brows and her arms crossed.

The four standing on the lookout who had just watched the scene taking place sweated in embarrassment while Goku laughed for a bit.

"Hey, guys. I just got here in time to hear that your group is going to be training first." Said Goku as he walked over to stand close to Kami and the others.

Chichi nodded.

"Yup. Not how I pictured my honeymoon being spent." She stated ruefully with a shrug.

Meanwhile, Goku wondered for a second what a honeymoon was, imagining honey being poured over the moon. He knew that couldn't be it but his imagination was enough to make his stomach growl. He shook his head, reminding himself to ask Kami what it was later.

Goku drew closer to Vegeta, a glint in his eyes.

"Ya know, it's too bad we couldn't have trained together. I would have loved to have fought against you even though I'm sure you would have won."

Despite his dislike toward's Goku, seeing the Saiyan desire to fight in Goku's eyes softened Vegeta towards him a bit. The prince couldn't help but agree.

The corner of vegeta's lip curled upward.

"How about when it's your turn in the chamber you don't waste your time in there just making those weakling friends of yours stronger. Make yourself worthy of my time when you get out and then you and I can have a real Saiyan battle. How does that sound, Kakarott?"

A large eager smile spread across Goku's face.

"You bet!" He nodded, stretching out his hand and offering it for Vegeta to shake.

Vegeta looked down at the other's Saiyan's hand in disdain and wrinkling the bridge of his nose before turning his back on Goku.

"Let's get going, woman." Vegeta said, walking past Chichi and heading to the time chamber.

Bulma, hearing Vegeta let out a gasp.

"Wait, Chichi!" She cried, digging her hands through the purse she had brought with her. As the others had been way at the marriage, Bulma had been away at the capsule corp and loading up on the capsules her friends would need.

Chichi froze in her tracks and turned around, just as Bulma handed her many small boxes of capsules.

"You and your new hubby be needing this."Bulma winked.

Chichi looked down at the capsules in awe and back at Bulma.

"Thank you so much, Bulma. You're such a lovely person. So kind." Chichi breathed in awe.

"It's no big deal, girl." Bulma smiled, with a wave of her hand. "You and your man are gonna be spending two years training to save the planet. It's the least I can do. Now, you and your 'geta guy have fun in there if you get my meaning." Bulma stated with a wink, making Chichi's eyes grow big thanks to being mortified.

Kami cleared his throat, understanding now was the perfect opportunity to mention what he had almost forgotten to say.

"That reminds me," Kami loudly stated, making Chichi's eyes grow even bigger and her face turn blue as she dreaded what possible embarrassing thing he was about to say.

"I want you all to know for future reference: should any other couples enter the hyperbolic time chamber like Vegeta and Chichi, they too as the royal couple will not be able to conceive a child in the chamber. That is part of the rules of the chamber that scarcely ever get mentioned about because a lack of necessity as you all could imagine."

At that second Chichi wanted to die right then, with all eyes of the other warriors on her.

Krillian and Yamcha were snickering while Tien and Chiaotzu pretended that they hadn't heard a thing.

Rage quickly replaced the humiliation inside Chichi.

"COULDN'T YOU HAVE TOLD ANY FUTURE COUPLES ABOUT THAT IN PRIVATE?! DID YOU REALLY HAVE TO USE ME AND VEGETA AS AN EXAMPLE IN FRONT OF EVERYONE?!" Screeched Chichi before punching Kami in the back of his head.

"I'm so sorry. I hadn't considered it!" Kami cried out, pleading for mercy as he held the growing red bump on his head.

"HMPF!" Chichi replied and began marching away to the time chamber.

"Wait one second." Kami pleaded, stopping Chichi in her tracks.

.

.

.

Shutting the door of the chamber behind herself, the feel of the small brown pouch filled with Senzu beans stuffed in her bra, weighed heavily against Chichi's chest.

Another secret Kami had told her to keep from Vegeta, something him and Piccolo had decided for her to use during her training time with her green rival.

She could see Vegeta and Piccolo standing off in the distance, seemingly taking in the place as their home for the next two years.

Chichi, set the small boxes in her hand down on the nearest counter and opened a box. To her luck the first box that she opened contained a house capsule beside many food ones.

Beaming, she grabbed it and went off to show Vegeta.

"Vegeta, look what I found!" She happily cried out, showing him the capsule in her hand. "It's going to be our first real home for us as husband and wife!"

Vegeta smiled at her happiness oozing out of her.

"Alright, then. You pick a place where you'd like it to be. Then you can get your rest."

"Rest?" Chichi wondered out loud but then remembered. "Oh, I'm far too excited to be tired any more, Vegeta. Don't worry about me! But I shall pick a place."

She grinned with determination and began examining the place.

I don't want it to be too far or too close from the chamber's doors.

She began walking around and after stepping fifty or so feet away from Vegeta, she had found the right place. She pressed down on the capsule and tossed it.

Out exploded from the capsule in a poof of smoke a large beautiful two floors capsule house.

Chichi let out an excited squeal at it's beauty and then ran over to Vegeta, hugging him from behind.

With large eyes, the prince almost fell forward at the unexpected embrace.

"Oh, Vegeta! Just look at it! isn't it wonderful?"

Good. A place for them to run off to so I get some time alone. Piccolo thought with relief as he watched the couple in disgust.

"As long as you like it, I'm content." Replied Vegeta to his wife.

"Do you want to step inside?" Chichi asked in excitement, ready to go exploring.

"In a little while, Chichi." Vegeta replied, staring at Piccolo.

Hurt was visible in her eyes, despite trying to hide it.

Smirking, Vegeta tutted his tongue at the princess's eyes and expression, lifting her chin that had lowered in sadness.

"You have to remember, the blood of a warrior runs through my veins and it's the longest I've been without a good fight. Allow me to scratch this itch that has been plaguing me and then trust me, my attention will all be yours, my wife." He murmured in an attractively low voice that caused Chichi to reflexively swallow hard.

Nervously she nodded.

Vegeta laughed to himself at her innocence as he powered up, turning to face Piccolo who had already taken off his turban and cape.

Piccolo had to smile to himself as he cracked his neck. It had been quite some time since he had fought someone too.

At least this time I'll be facing someone with more than two brain cells. He considered, thinking about Goku.
