"What do you mean she's not there!?" An angry, pissed-off sounding voice belonging to one Nemuri Kayama, aka The R-Rated Hero Midnight, rang out through the top floor of her Love Hotel: Love Love Deluxe. The top floor acted as a suite that the pro hero lived in, and conversely allowed her constant access to her business.

But that was not what this was about. Not this conversation, anyway.

"We checked everywhere, Midnight-san. She's not here. I'm sorry if this isn't the news you wanted to hear, but—"

"But nothing, Officer. She's my responsibility, and now also yours to find her! The fact that you can't do your job properly only gives me more reasons to believe that the police force needs to pick up their act!" Nemuri spat, hanging up her cell phone as she slumped down on the couch.

It had been a week since Yoshihara Kira's disappearance. Seeing as the teen in question was her adopted daughter and student, she was starting to get worried. Any parent would get worried if their child went missing, adopted or otherwise.

It wasn't normal for Yoshihara to leave the house on a weekend, but then again, there was always a first for everything. She said that she would only be a few hours, and Nemuri stuck her to it. Then, 12 hours passed, and she hadn't come home. The pro hero called her cellphone to ask where she had been, except instead of ringing it went straight to voicemail.

So, she assumed that her phone was dead and that she was hanging out with Josefumi and his girlfriend. Except, an hour later, Karera came over and asked if she had seen Josefumi.

That had caused Nemuri's worry to skyrocket from a slight concern to outright fear. If Yoshihara wasn't with Josefumi and Karera, then where could she have gone? Nemuri had already called the Midoriya household to ask if she was there earlier, but the two had said they hadn't seen her all day.

And if Karera was asking if she had seen Josefumi, then that also meant that he had disappeared too.

Of course, it had only been 13 hours at that point, so it wasn't as if they still couldn't come home. Just in case, Nemuri called the police to ask them to keep an eye out for the pair and to call her if something came up. They agreed, and that was as far as it went. If Yoshihara wasn't home by the end of the night, she was going to have to report her as a missing person.

And that was exactly what happened.

Yoshihara didn't show up the next morning. It was at that point when Nemuri made it her mission to look for her. During her search, she ran into a doppelganger.

She had an instinctive urge to investigate why someone who seemingly looked like her was out masquerading as herself but was asked to keep away from them by Yaoyorozu of all people and to stay in her house.

Though Yaoyorozu looked a little different from the last time she saw the prodigy, with a high amount of hesitation, Nemuri did as the teen asked, which seemed to earn her a thankful smile from the prodigy. That still didn't mean she was going to give up her search for Yoshihara. It would just mean that it would have to be more online-focused than in-person.

1 day turned to 2, and 2 turned to 4, and so on, till now. She felt a bit of nausea in the early morning, and upon making a call to the police station, they still hadn't found anything.

U.A. had gone into lockdown after the disappearance of two Hero Course students, one of which was the son of the head of the Speedwagon Foundation and the second-ranked Pro Hero in America, which made matters infinitely worse. Until the two were found, the school would not be able to be reopened.

News outlets reported on the disappearances, and shifted blame onto U.A., because of course they would. Which led to now, where Nemuri was about to have her second full glass of wine to calm her nerves.

Originally, Aizawa's class—the one Yoshihara and Josefumi were a part of—was planning to do some rescue training. But when Kira and Kujo disappeared, that was cancelled… obviously.

Currently, Nemuri was wearing a black blouse with a frilly collar, grey yoga pants, and red and white striped socks. In her right hand was a glass of wine, and in her left hand was her phone, constantly refreshing her text messages and calls.

She WOULD go out and look for Yoshihara herself, which she planned to do later, but right now she needed to unwind.

If she was going to go look for her, she needed to have a clear headspace and the ability to think rationally. Wine helped with that. It helped with that a lot of things as of late.

'Damnit, Yoshihara, where are you?' Nemuri thought, taking a sip of her wine as she closed her eyes. There was silence within the suite for an undiscernible amount of time. A silence she just wasn't used to.

And then, the elevator bell rang, and her head snapped to attention. There was a fifty/fifty chance that this was either Karera coming to ask for her help again, or if this was Yoshihara. She didn't want to get her hopes up, so she prepared to greet the former.

However, when the elevator doors opened to reveal a dishevelled, tired-looking Yoshihara, Josefumi, and five other individuals that she had never seen before with the exception of Kyoka Jirou, Nemuri's eyes opened as the ravenette almost dropped her wine glass.

"Yos—"

"Not. Right. Now. I need a shower, and a good meal, and so do these guys. They can fill you in on what's going on. If you excuse me, I'm going to go scream into my pillow, bye!" Yoshihara all but interrupted abruptly, storming up a set of stairs leading to the second floor of sorts and taking a sharp left turn around a corner.

Everyone else in the room looked at each other as Josefumi sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I… There is a lot to go over. So, allow me to do just that," Josefumi spoke up, looking at Nemuri, who stared at him with an expectant expression.

"You better, Kujo. Or I swear to all the gods in the world I will turn you inside out with a cheese grater because I am at my wit's end! My daughter disappears for a week, and when she comes back, she does so with you, Jirou, four strangers, and one that looks incredibly similar to Midoriya! So you better have a damn good explanation!" Nemuri all but shouted as the pompadour-haired teen sweat-dropped.

"Uh, ma'am, I—"

"Nope! I'm only listening to Josefumi," Nemuri interrupted Josuke before he could speak, making the older man recoil at her rudeness.

"First off," Josefumi began, sticking a thumb over to Izuku, "that is Izuku, just… not OUR Izuku," Josefumi stated, crossing his arms before continuing. "And second, Kira and I got kidnapped by a kid with the ability to rip open portals to an alternate universe. For the past week, we've been attacked by people who the boy keeps sending after us due to a misconception and him thinking that we're trying to kill him, even though we just want him to deactivate his ability because if he doesn't both our world and theirs are going to collide, and cause a universal deletion the likes of which that we have never seen before, and will never see again if it happens for obvious reasons."

The flat look that was on his face while he explained everything added to the fact that he was being serious, to which Nemuri sighed, got up from the couch, walked over to the kitchen, grabbed a small bottle of vodka, grabbed a shot glass, poured it, and shot it back with an exasperated sigh.

"Uh… is she okay?" Izuku questioned, whispering as Gyro shrugged his shoulders, not making a single noise.

Nemuri came back, sat back down on the couch, clasped her hands together, then looked Josefumi right in the eyes and spoke. "So. You mean to tell me, that Yoshihara got herself caught up in something far bigger than anything she ever had before, you've been to another dimension, and now you're back here to continue said goose chase because, and I'm only guessing, the kid came here to shake you off his tail?" Nemuri questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"You're… just going to believe him? Just like that?" Johnny was the one who spoke up, which earned a scoff from Nemuri.

"Oh, yes, definitely. If it explains that doppelganger crap and everything else, then I'm not gonna even bother questioning it," Nemuri stated, slowly standing up for the second time in a minute. "If you don't mind me, I'm going to take a long-deserved nap after scrambling around trying to find Yoshihara. Foods in the fridge, and if you want a room to sleep on the lower floors, it's free, seeing as you're all clearly in a bit of a crisis. We also have public showers divided by gender on the main floor. Soaps provided and everything. I suggest you all do so because you all stink like high heaven."

And with that, Nemuri walked up the stairs, entered the first room on the right, and slammed the door.

Something told Josefumi that this was going to be… rather interesting going forward.

Johnny sighed as he got out of the shower, feeling refreshed. In all honesty, he was relieved that they had somewhere a little more comfortable to stay, even if it was a little...

Well, Midnighty.

Of course, the Joestar had nothing but respect for his teacher, but there was no denying the woman was a bit of a horndog. He couldn't help but remember all the times he had to subtly rescue his father from his universe's Nemuri's advances, although they might have just been a running joke now that Johnny thought about it.

Upon slipping on his washed white and blue top, he exited the room to find Kyoka waiting for him, having shed her jacket to let it dry. He smiled and raised an eyebrow, "Were you waiting for me?"

"Duh, yare yare... you take way too long in there," His girlfriend said with a smirk, taking his hand as they began walking down the hallway together, "Diva."

"I am literally the furthest thing from a diva there is," Johnny deadpanned, taking a seat on the edge of the bed in the room they were so generously gifted to by Yoshihara's version of Nemuri, as did the purplette.

"Doesn't mean I can't call you one," Kyoka replied. The purplette sighed and she squeezed his hand. "We've had a whole bunch of scares in just a few short days. First, all the terrifying shit the Enigma Boy did... then... Yagiyama, and Doppio... who we now have to drag around."

"I take it him being here makes you uncomfortable?" Johnny questioned, though there was no hint of curiosity, more than it was just a pure fact. Even so, Kyoka responded.

"JoJo... you know damn well why that bastard makes me uneasy," Kyoka shuddered as she looked around. "He did everything just short of killing us, and now we have to bring him along? He could rip my heart out in my sleep," Kyoka said, a tinge of fear creeping up her spine.

"I... think he realized what he did. Don't get me wrong, I'm not forgiving him any time soon. He hurt you and Izuku, and you know that is something I would never, EVER let go unpunished... but I don't think he's a threat anymore," Johnny said, giving Kyoka a gentle squeeze on the shoulder, which somewhat eased her tension, but only barely.

"I'm keeping a jack on him at all times. Anyway... we've already been put through the wringer, multiple days in a row... so I guess I just want to relax for a little while before we start our search up again. We're in Yoshihara and Josefumi's territory, so they're both gonna have to take the lead on this," the purplette said, humming.

"Yeah. We're no longer in the driver's seat, it's on them," Johnny replied, looking over to the window. It was tinted so that those on the outside couldn't peer in. It WAS a Love Hotel after all.

That thought alone made Johnny just a tad bit uneasy. Not out of fear, mind you, but rather just a general sense of uneasiness. He just hoped that these beds were deep cleaned before they were rented out again. He couldn't imagine what it would look like with a blue light beating down on it.

Out of reflex, Johnny summoned Tusk to his side, the Stand floating over his shoulder with a tilted expression. However, something Johnny took immediate notice of was the fact that Kyoka… didn't react to it being brought out. Not even a raise of the eyebrow.

"Uh… Kyoka?" Johnny questioned, catching her attention.

"Yeah? What is it, Johnny?" Kyoka asked as the jockey pointed behind him.

"Do you see anything behind me?" The Joestar asked, earning a raised eyebrow from the purplette.

"If I did, I probably would've said something by now, why?" Kyoka responded as Johnny's face turned sour as the realization hit him like a truck. Just to make sure that what he thought was happening wasn't happening, he had Tusk wave its hand in Kyoka's face. Not even a flinch. She had absolutely NO idea what was going on.

If that had been an enemy Stand… 'Oh gods… that's not good. Fuck! Josefumi even mentioned this when we first met! Those without Stands in his universe can't see them! Kyoka and Izuku are sitting ducks!'

"Kyoka… I summoned Tusk behind me. I'm having him wave a hand in front of your face right now," Johnny said as Kyoka's eyes widened.

"What?! Wait, you're serious, right?" Kyoka asked as Johnny grimaced.

"Yeah, I am. I should've seen this coming, too. Josefumi mentioned that those without Stands in his universe can't see them, period. And since you don't have a Stand…"

"I can't see them," Kyoka finished his sentence, her shoulders sagging. "Oh god… if an enemy Stand user attacked, and I was the first one they came across…!"

"You wouldn't be able to see it coming, nor retaliate accordingly to the attack," Johnny stated with a grim expression on his face. "Which means, unless you magically awaken a Stand thanks to your Hamon training, you're pretty much a sitting duck. Not that you can't fight, but it would be extremely difficult for you to do such a thing. Maybe Izuku has a loophole with Thriller and its energy, but you don't."

Kyoka sighed, putting her face into her hands and groaning. She picked herself up and looked up at the ceiling, an annoyed expression on her face as she frowned. "Great. Just when I wanted to relax, I learn that I can't see Stands, which puts me at a disadvantage… son of a bitch!"

Johnny put a hand on her right shoulder, causing the purplette to look over at him, her frown disappearing as her eyes met his. "Hey, don't think like that. Yes, you might be at a disadvantage, but you can still help. Besides, in this big of a city, we're going to need you more than ever to find Karl."

Kyoka nodded, a bit of determination appearing in her eyes as she smiled. "Yeah, you're right! I don't need to see Stands to be useful, I can still be useful in my own way!" The purplette declared, her smile growing and setting off a chain reaction as one appeared on Johnny's face.

"That's the Kyoka I know. Now, let's get some coffee. Yoshihara's Nemuri did say they had food in the fridge, and I don't doubt for a second that the others are up there already helping themselves, let's go join them."

With that, the couple left the room and made their way over to the elevator that would bring them up to the suite on the top floor. Inserting the key that Yoshihara gave them when they first entered the building. Just before the doors closed, a voice called out to the pair.

"Excuse me youngins! Are you going up to the top?"

Johnny's eyes widened.

From atop a ledge of the opposite building facing Love Love Deluxe, a silhouette of a man observed the love hotel, humming as he held what appeared to be a cane to his ear.

"So... Jotaro's son. It appears as though I failed in preventing the Joestar group from reaching Lord DIO. Such a shame... but it appears as though I have a new task to complete."

The man leaned forward, an aura of tranquillity washing over him as he took in the sounds of the city, the breeze...

The hotel. Johnny's conversation with Kyoka.

"A universe in which Stands aren't visible to the public, and even those who originate from our universe aren't immune to this. Poor girl, although her hearing is still better than mine... still, I'm only after her lover."

The man's grip tightened around his cane as he found his resolve. There was no way he was just going to let Johnny live, Jotaro was dangerous enough as it is. The Joestar family only got more dangerous with each new generation, and from what the boy told him...

Tusk Act 4 beat Star Platinum in combat. The boy was surpassing his father, and that was something he couldn't allow.

"Jonathan Kujo, son of Jotaro Kujo. A lesser man would fear such power..."

The man stood up and stepped out of the shadows. He had a dark skin tone, unkempt hair, and two hoop earrings. He wore a t-shirt with a stripped overshirt on top, armbands, and sported simple trousers. His most defining feature, however...

Was the fact that his pupils were almost non-existent. The man was totally blind.

"...the great N'doul has nothing to fear. I shall kill you in Lord DIO's name!"

"I can't believe we went from an abandoned school to a love hotel," Izuku muttered, a slightly unnerved expression on his face as he cautiously looked around.

"At least it's clean," Josefumi retorted, crossing his legs on the couch that he sat on. "So... about the whole not seeing Stands thing..."

"It isn't entirely new to me. My Quirk came to me later in life, so I spent most of it Quirkless. In our world, the Quirkless can't see Stands. I was always so frustrated whenever JoJo used to describe Tusk to me because I wanted to see it for myself."

"Is that why you got angry when Yoshihara told us about her past?" Josefumi inquired, and Izuku's eyes shifted to the floor, "Sorry for asking, it's just-"

"Joestars are observant, I know. I've known one since I could walk," The greenette responded, leaning backwards, "Yes... I was bullied because of it. Hearing how her mother abused her partially because she was Quirkless irked me the wrong way. I mean, who goes out to have a kid, loves them unconditionally, only to turn around and treat them like trash because they don't have a superpower?" Izuku asked, his eyes narrowing toward the ground.

"I know. It doesn't make sense to me either," Josefumi said, chewing the inside of his lip out of reflex. "I mean, I too was born Quirkless. All Joestars are, at least in my universe. I awakened my Stand around the age of 8, and from there I lived a normal life explaining away how my Quirk came in late. But the fact is that I know what it's like to be Quirkless. Granted I wasn't bullied because I was a Joestar. Everyone respected me because of my father, though some saw it as a stain on his name, I didn't particularly care all too much."

Izuku had a small smile appear on his face, glancing over at Josefumi. "Why is that I run into people who were Quirkless now that I have a Quirk, but never did when I was still Quirkless?"

The pompadour-haired teen only chuckled at that, shaking his head. "I couldn't tell ya Midoriya. We might not be from the same universe, but I'm sure my Midoriya could take solace in the fact that he wasn't the only Quirkless kid out there."

"Ha… I guess your right…." As Izuku said that, Josefumi's eyes widened.

"Ah, shit! I gotta call Giorgio and my dad! They're probably still looking for me!" Josefumi exclaimed, jumping up from the couch. Just before he was able to grab his phone, the elevator doorbell dinged, causing Josefumi to look over at it.

Out stepped Johnny and Kyoka, which he had expected. What he hadn't expected was their faces and the person behind him.

Standing at a height of 6 foot 4 inches, his body built like a brick wall, his pearly blue eyes and his messy blond hair being the two most notable things about him along with his black pinstripe suit, there his father stood with a smile on his face.

"There you are! I was beginning to wonder where you went!" The man said, scooping Josefumi up into a bear hug as the pompadour-haired teen winced.

"Dad! Now's not the time!" Josefumi cried out as Johnny backed away as much as he could from the massive man, not wanting to get in arm's length of the guy, keeping Kyoka behind him as he did so.

"Now, now Joseph, there's no reason to be so distant! I haven't seen you in a week!"

"JOSEFUMI! WE'RE IN JAPAN! IT'S JOSEFUMI!" The teen tried to shout, though it was through the choked sounds of a bear hug. The bigger man put him down, patting Josefumi on the head with a smirk.

"I know, but it annoys you, and therefore I have to do that," The man said, earning a sigh from Josefumi.

"So uh... you're... Josefumi's dad," Izuku said his eyes wide as they shifted from the older man to Johnny, "Uhhh, I'm Izuku Midoriya."

"Jonathan Kujo, but most people call me Johnny." The man responded, and they both turned around when they heard a THUMP.

Kyoka was on the floor, having fallen over upon the revelation that the tall man who resembled her boyfriend was in fact, an alternate version of her boyfriend. Which also meant...

'WHY THE FUCK DID HE CALL ME 'MOM?!'

"Boy, am I glad I didn't rub elbows with him in the elevator," Johnny muttered, knowing he was likely only two inches from death. He had his suspicions upon seeing him, it was like looking in a mirror that made you older... and blond. However, now that it was confirmed, he had only one question:

'Why the fuck didn't he tell me that I was his FATHER?! That seems like something you'd want to bring up! Also... Joseph... Josefumi... why didn't I make that connection sooner?!'

"So...where have you been?" Adult Johnny asked, sitting across from his son, "You've been gone for a while, I was pretty worried."

"Um... it's... kind of a long story," Josefumi said, slowly turning to find Johnny glaring daggers at him.

'Hoo boy, I have some explaining to do.'

That was the moment Gyro came strolling into the room. He stopped as soon as he saw the adult version of his best friend, and then slowly turned around to grin at Johnny. The brunette version of the seventh JoJo raised an eyebrow, and mouthed, 'You knew?!'

"Well, I figured that considering that young man looks a hell of a lot like Gyro," Adult Johnny responded, and his blue eyes focused on his fuming counterpart, "And... you're other friend here, I don't think I have to say much about why I have a few questions about him."

"I have questions too... Johnny," Johnny said with his typical unamused sarcasm, "Josefumi, care to explain?"

"Why did you call me Mom?" Kyoka asked as she sat up.

Adult Johnny raised an eyebrow, "...what?"

"I don't know Mom...I MEAN JIROU!" Josefumi said, turning his head to suppress a grin.

"I will stab you in your beauty sleep if you do not explain this to me right now," Kyoka threatened, standing up.

"What is happening?" Izuku questioned, rubbing the sides of his head, "Everything made sense, and now everything doesn't."

"Josefumi, I think we broke them," Gyro said with a grin.

"WE?!"

'Two Johnny Kujo's? As if this wasn't dangerous enough,' N'doul thought to himself as he listened into the bizarre conversation that was taking place. It didn't help that one was older and more experienced.

The former agent of DIO looked up to the sky, and sniffed, grinning in satisfaction, "Looks like there will be rain... good, that's very good."

'Jotaro and crew encountered me in a desert after all. The environment was on their side, but now that I'm in a rainy environment, I can use Geb to its full destructive potential!'

That would be his ticket to victory. Tusk was rumoured to be extremely powerful, and with the possibility of having to deal with two versions of it, he needed to be careful and efficient. With the rain, Geb had many places to hide, many angles to attack, and more than enough time to do it, considering the rain was only just getting started.

N'doul stuck his hand out, smiling as he felt a raindrop splash against his palm. Only one, but one was enough to make him feel assured.

'I suppose this is revenge. Jotaro took someone important to me, I take someone important to him. An eye for an eye, a loved one for a loved one. Lord DIO will not go unavenged.'

Geb manifested beside its user, brandishing claws.

'When the rain comes, Johnny Kujo will be dead.'

"Hahaha!" The older Johnny laughed as hard as he could, wiping a fake tear from his eye as he watched the unfolding chaos. The currently fighting teens looked over to him as he cleared his throat, cracking his neck from side to side as he reclined in the seat he was in.

"Well, I don't mind answering any questions you have for me, but I guess I should start with the one the lass over there brought up," Jonathon said as he dug out a small photograph from his pocket. He passed the photo over to Jirou, whose eyes widened upon seeing it.

The woman in the photo had short purple hair, though she had no jacks dangling from her ears. The woman had a similar facial structure to her own, as well as the same colour eyes. She was probably 5 foot nothing, or maybe a little bit more than that. She was standing in a mosh-pit with other people, and the person holding the camera was probably Josefumi's father. "Holy…"

Jonathon took the photo back from Jirou, a small smile on his face as he did. "I had to do a double take when I saw you on the elevator. You had the same face as her, but when I saw the earphone jacks, I knew you weren't the same person. Which in retrospect is a good thing. It would've made that elevator ride even more awkward."

Johnny cleared his throat, catching the older version of him's attention. "Uh… I don't mean to make the mood weirder, but what was her name? She looks an awful lot like Kyoka's mother, minus the jacks."

Jonathon's face soured, biting his lip as he shook his head. "Well, I don't mind saying. But… her name was Tomoko. Tomoko Jirou. She came from Japan to experience the American lifestyle when she was 20. She wanted to get away from her overbearing parents and jerk of a sister. We met when I went to a concert with my longtime friend. Skipping the details, we married at 28, and by the time we were thirty I found out she was carrying my child. But… when Joseph was born, she died giving birth. No previous complications, no nothing, just dropped dead. Joseph's only seen pictures of her, so I guess that's why his brain made the connection to thinking why the young one over there was a spitting image of his mom. 'Cause, that was the only thing he had of her."

There was dead silence in the room as the older Johnny coughed into his hand. "Aw shit, I overdid it again. Well, heh, I guess it doesn't matter all too much. You know now, no harm no foul."

"Wow… I… I'm sorry for your loss but… does that mean that Josefumi is related to this universe's Kyoka?" Jirou asked, raising an eyebrow with a hint of concern in her eyes for something completely unrelated. Although no one really noticed it.

"Yup. I talked over the phone with her, but never in person, so she knows about the Kujo name being related to the Jirou's. Outside of that, I've never met her in person. Kinda hard to do that when A. I live in America, specifically Texas. And B. I run The Speedwagon Foundation. I'm a rather busy man, so—"

"Wait a minute, full pause, you RUN the Speedwagon Foundation? I thought you'd be a pro hero?" Johnny interrupted as Jonathon snorted.

"I am a hero, kiddo. I just so happen to run The Speedwagon Foundation as well. In fact, I'm America's number 2, Joekid. I would be number 1 if it weren't for Star and Stripe taking that role. Not that I care all too much. I'm already successful as it is. I mostly do hero work for the fun of it and the satisfaction of putting crooks in the dirt or behind bars. But that's enough questions. I'm sure we all got things to do, and you gotta get back to your Universe, and…"

Jonathon stopped, his eyes narrowing as he stood up. His shoulders were tense, and a furious pink aura washed over him. "Don't move, don't do anything irrational, or panic. I got a bad feeling about something. Someone other than us nine is near."

"Don't worry other me, this isn't our first rodeo," Johnny replied, glancing around the room, "Kyoka?"

"Already on it... tons of running water, all around us. Too much to be anything normal," Kyoka said with a grimace, "Sounds like we have a water bender."

"Water-based Stands are notoriously deadly, and judging from Karl's track record... it may be an old Joestar family friend," Izuku said, pulling his cowl over his face to turn on his tactical lenses, "There are only two who fit that description."

"Angelo, or the blind assassin my dad fought in Egypt, N'doul," Johnny affirmed, "Both are bad news, don't drink anything until we're certain."

"Wow, you all picked up on this pretty quickly," Jonathon commented, "I'm impressed! So... Johnny, I assume you have Tusk too?"

"Yup."

"This should be a breeze then, although we probably won't be able to do any damage to the Stand, only the user," The older Kujo said, summoning his version of it. Johnny did likewise, and the next thing they knew they were both comparing their Stands. The older Johnny's Tusk was taller than the younger Kujo, matching Jonathon's size if only taller than a few inches. The younger Kujo's Tusk had bright yellow eyes, while the older's Tusk had dark purple eyes.

"Really?" Kyoka asked, shooting her boyfriend a look.

"Hey, it isn't every day you can see another Tusk," Johnny retorted.

The purplette sighed and smirked, "You're ridiculous."

N'doul sat in silence, the rain splashing all around him. He didn't dare make a single noise, as he would undoubtedly alert the one with the ears. She was well protected at the moment, so he couldn't just target her.

Besides, he actually wanted her alive.

He was truly only after the young Johnny, as he was the one with the connection to Jotaro. However, there was a certain satisfaction to murdering the boy in front of his loved ones, leaving them alive to grieve.

Maybe he was just a sadist, but N'doul thought it was poetic, for all of the people Jotaro hurt by killing such a wonderful, terrible man.

'Hm? They're all moving in different directions... I see, they're splitting up to confuse me. Unfortunately, that means I can no longer locate Johnny Kujo until he talks. I could attack a few of them to draw him out... that Karl kid mentioned he gets mad whenever someone dear to him is threatened... The girlfriend? Too easy, too close to him. He'd save her in a heartbeat. His partner? Just as capable as he is. The childhood friend? That may be my best bet.'

The sounds of the city, and the fact that his target decided to scatter with his friends, only left one option for the blind assassin: he had to go inside Love Love Deluxe. The issue was that he was already a suspect, along with this Angelo. Johnny Kujo clearly knew his family history... N'doul would be identified.

'Unless... I impersonate this Angelo fellow... he must have a water-based stand too.'

N'doul descended to the streets below and stepped out onto the sidewalk...

...and immediately fell over.

"Oooh, help! Anyone, please!"

Footsteps stopped, and those walking through the rain turned to find the blind man flailing on the ground, looking as pitiable as he could manage.

"Please, help... I don't know where I am! I-I'm blind...I can't find my cane..."

N'doul felt a hand touch his back, and someone helped him to his feet.

'Finally, took someone long enough.'

"Here's your cane sir... where are you from?"

"Last time I knew, I was in the middle of the Sahara Desert," N'doul answered, albeit truthfully.

"You're one of the displaced. People have been popping up from all over the place, we've even had people seeing doppelgangers, although the heroes are telling us to stay away from them. I hate to break it to you buddy... but you're in Japan." The male voice responded sympathetically.

"JAPAN?!" N'doul cried out in fake panic, clutching his chest. The man who was kind enough to help him patted his shoulder.

"Yeah... I'm sorry, it must be quite the shock... going from the desert to a rainy Japan like that. Poor thing, you're soaked! There's a love hotel across the street, but it's run by a pro hero, Midnight. She's sure to take you in."

"Thank you! You're too kind," N'doul responded.

'Too kind for your own good.'

Geb manifested from a puddle, following the oblivious stranger as N'doul was led to Love Love Deluxe, its claws ready to strike.

Yoshihara opened the door to her room, having finally detoxed enough to have a conversation about the group's next move...

Only to find Vinegar Doppio on the ground in front of her, his ass raised in the air.

"Why?"

Doppio jumped, and turned his head to find the blonde giving him an unamused expression, and narrowed his eyes in response, "I'll have you know there is a perfectly good explanation for this."

"Then give it, before I blow you to hell."

"Midoriya was gracious enough to warn me that there is a water-based Stand running around, possibly with lethal intentions. I... saw a spill here, and then it dried up. Almost as if the moisture in the carpet moved, I was assessing the threat."

"Izuku's too nice, he should've let you find that out on your own," Yoshihara responded with a glare, "I assume he probably had the intention of warning me, and he ran into you first."

"I understand why you're bitter... I'm not trying to defend my actions in any way. Everything I did, and everything I'll do going forward is in the kid's best interest," Doppio retorted as he stood up, brushing himself off. "You're no saint either, you know. Karl told me that you've killed plenty of people on numerous occasions, either to get by, out of self-defence, or because that person pissed you off and you lost control of yourself as a result."

"Doesn't mean I'll forgive you any time soon. The only reason you're even alive right now is that you and your King Crimson are useful. With your ability to see the future and Erase Time, warning those who used to be able to see Stands that now can't is useful to us. So let's make one thing clear…."

Yoshihara turned to glare at Doppio, her dead eyes drilling holes into the mafioso, her true nature as a killer breaking through.

"Everyone here has a role to play, and yours? You're the expendable one. We can afford to lose you... so keep your ass in line. And if you so much as make a move that could be considered against us or a threat to our wellbeing… well, I still have that bomb placed on you. One wrong move and you're dead. Capisci?"

Doppio shuddered. The glare reminded him of Cioccolata when he went on missions with him and his "pet" Secco. It was the type of glare one would give another if they were on thin ice. Despite that, Doppio held his ground. "You know, Yoshihara Kira... Diavolo would've loved you. You'd be perfect for one of his hit squads."

There was a tense silence between the two, and after a few moments, Yoshihara looked away and pushed passed the man, closing the door behind her. "Well, perhaps in an alternate timeline I do end up in one of those so-called hit squads. Truth be told I only became a hero-in-training out of necessity. You might not be far from the truth. But the point still stands, don't fuck up, you won't like what happens if you do."

Doppio raised an eyebrow at that. That would be something he put a tab on later when the group was brought back together. He was still on Karl's side, so creating a slight division in the group would be perfect to help the kid. A part of him felt wrong for even thinking that, considering the amount of death that would result if Karl wasn't caught. But at the same time, he owed the kid a lot for bringing him back to life.

Yoshihara looked down the stairs, watching as Gyro, Johnny, and Izuku entered the elevator. The big guy who had said himself to be Jonathon was already gone, probably leaving before Johnny got on the elevator so he didn't accidentally bump into him and cause them both to die.

That left Kyoka, Josuke, herself, Doppio, and Josefumi on the top floor. Half the group was split up, meaning that the enemy would have to have a conscious effort to take on one group or the other, and depending on who was after who, then that meant splitting up was a good idea.

"Much to my chagrin, you and I will stay up here. Josefumi and Kyoka will stay in the lower portion of the suite. I'm deactivating the bomb I have on you so I don't accidentally blow you up. Don't do anything stupid."

"You have my word!" Doppio said, doing a mock salute, earning a tsk from the blonde-haired Stand user.

"Whatever," Yoshihara said, Killer Queen summoning to her side as it touched Doppio, the bubble bomb extracting itself from his forehead and going back to the cat-like Stand. Doppio shuttered internally from that as the pink Stand glared at him, fading away from existence.

He watched as the elevator doors closed, and as soon as they did, he activated Epitaph to check the future. Once he did, he saw an image of the group getting out of the elevator, and Izuku being attacked by a water-like claw, slashing his eyes.

Doppio's eyes widened upon seeing that. Doppio leaned over the railing and as soon as he did, he spoke as loud as he could without shouting. "Epitaph just predicted Izuku to get his eyes slashed after walking out of the elevator! Jirou, pass that on before it's too late!"

Kyoka jumped, turning around and looked at Doppio. She turned on the radio, and just as she was about to speak, her jacks picked up a disgusting-sounding slashing sound, and blood being spilt. Doppio flinched, clenching his teeth.

'This is not looking good!' Doppio thought, checking the future again as he ran down the stairs. He took the radio from Kyoka, the purplette staggering back out of shock. What he saw was not good. "Johnny, whatever you do, don't attack it! It'll impale you if you do! Epitaph predicted it!"

Within the elevator, the brown-haired Stand user stood, fury in his eyes as Izuku was slumped up against the elevator wall. Geb flexed its claws, clinging to the roof in a prone-like stance, readying itself to attack.

And so, the standoff began.
