"I can't believe I'm letting you set me up Sis." Miko groaned. She hadn't seen Hawks since that night, and her sister had offered to set them up.
"It's a logical choice, right Reiko?" Aizawa said from the couch.
Miko rolled her eyes. Perfect to get her out of the house, maybe.
"Yep! Perfectly logical!" Kitsune smiled and leaned into Aizawa.
Absolutely sickening how innocent they were acting.
Hawks knocked on the door.
Miko blushes. "You get it!" She hid.
"Oh look she's shy…like someone else I know." Aizawa smiled fondly and opened the door. "Hello Hawks."
Hawks blinked in surprise. "Hello Eraser? What are you doing here?" He was confused.
"I'm not shy!" Miko protested.
"Your looking for Miko right? "
Miko whispered. "Tell him I'm in the shower! Wait…no don't! I'm not naked!"
"Yes I am. Is this the correct place?" Hawks said, not hearing her.
"She's over here hiding!" Kitsune gave her was.
Kuri glared. 'Traitor." She stood up, giving a shy wave. "Hello Hawks."
Hawks smiled. "Hey there Miko."
Kitsune shoved her. "Please go."
Miko turned red, fixing her hat. "I'm going!" She headed over to Hawks, making sure her wings were toasty warm inside her jacket.
"You warm enough?" Hawks said, concerned.
"Yeah. I got ice on my wings."
"What?" Hawks cried, worried now.
Miko blushed and showed him.
"They're cute!" Hawks smiled after making sure they were ok. "Yeah keeping them warm is a good idea."
"Y-you think they are cute?" Miko grinned proudly. Her wings floofed. "Ooh! Hey calm down!"
Hawks laughed. "Oh yeah they'll do that too! When complimented." He grinned.
Miko grinned back. "Where would you like to go?"
"This is about where you'd like to go. Come on."
Miko blushed. "I wanna go somewhere warm." She nuzzled into his wings.
Hawks stiffened slightly at the pleasurable contact. "I-I know a place." Hawks her to a restaurant she liked, having worked hard to find out what she enjoyed.
Miko quickly let him go, realizing what she had done. "You ok? I'm sorry, I should know better." She blushed. "Happens to me too."
"Yes…I-I'm alright." He smiled. "You should be a bit more careful."
Miko giggled. "It's still a bit new to me. I only grew them recently. "
"Yeah I was there, but I'm still confused. How is that possible?" Hawks asked curiously. "Quirks manifest at age four, and my wings grew earlier than even that. I was born with them."
Miko shrugged. "The doctors say me and sis are a new evolution of quirk mutation. My quirk is spiritual power, clairsentience. But when I resonated with my quirk fully, the wings manifested. They aren't real wings like yours; they are made of spiritual energy. When I am really weak they break and vanish."
Hawks touched her wings. "They feel solid and real. You're telling me this is just a manifestation?"
"Yeah well sis and I had our quirks when we were kids. But when sis turned ten BAM! Ears and tail. Mine came in later and they are still growing. Sometimes when I'm really fired up they grow BIG! But they always shrink back."
Hawks laughed. "You just haven't grown into your wings yet!"
"Don't laaaaaaugh! I-I…" Miko pouted and said in a small voice. "Can't fly yet."
"I'll show you how to fly when you get stronger how bout that?"
"You'll teach me?! "Miko bounced up and down. "Oh Hawks!" She hugged him. "Thank you!"
Hawks hugged back. "You're welcome." He chuckled. "Now let's eat!"
