Hi guys, I am so sorry it's been so long. Literally years. I was 17/18 when I first started this story, I am now 25. But I am glad to be back. So for all you guys who have been asking about my other stories I am also planning to update them too. Wish me luck. Best wishes to you all. Let's begin again...

After a few hours of moving in boxes and putting away clothes, Dean embraced Misaki, being sure to be gentle with young man.

"You be safe, Misa." He demanded as he let go. "I've gotta go back to the hospital, the police wanted the names of the doctors and nurses who where treating you." Misaki beamed at his father like boss and nodded.

"Thank you so much, Dean, for everything you have done." He said, I'm so lucky to have you he added in his mind, not wanting to sound like a wet Wednesday morning.

Dean smiled warmly back, then gave a look of hostility towards Akihiko. "Call me if you need anything, okay?" He said as he was closing the door behind him.

Misaki and Akihiko looked at each other once the latch on the door suggested they where alone, "I don't think he likes me." The blond guest.

"It's not you, he's like that with everyone when they get to close to me, his like an over protective wolf, keeping his pack safe. I'll guess his like this with all his employees." Misaki said, knowingly stretching the truth a bit. He didn't want his new interest knowing the in's and out's of his relationship with Dean. Akihiko simply grunted while shrugging his shoulders, while making his way to kitchen.

"So, what do you fancy tonight, we've spent most of the day unpacking, and ur supposed to be taking things easy."

Misaki hummed as he felt the weight of the day in his body. "What's on the menu, teach." He was a little taken back when he saw the pile of take out menus the older man was pulling out the kitchen draws. Not a cooking type of guy, Misaki mentally noted. Kind of a good thing considering how much he loved to cook, but not so great when was supposed to be taking it easy. So it was take away for Misaki until he recovered.

"Um ... I'm not sure." He wasn't sure what he could handle with food, in the hospital they had kept him on a mostly liquid diet to allow his jaw to heal. So maybe he should stick with that for now. He could use chopsticks though. Noodle soup maybe.

His thinking was interrupted by Akihiko's smooth voice. "How about some soft ramen?" Misaki looked up at the beautiful man who knew his mind, smiled and nodded. "Alright, ramen then."

As Akihiko busied himself with ordering the food, misaki took this opportunity to take another look at the apartment, not moving from his place on the sofa. He could see it was much cleaner than his first visit, and that's with much of Misaki's stuff stacked up in the corner. This man is so considerate, despite their strange first meeting in this apartment.

Misaki could see the toll this whole situation took out of Akihiko, he had lost a friend and possible lover. He understood that Misaki needed someone and he was more than happy to take up that position without hesitation. His so kind Misaki thought as he finished his survey.

As soon as Akihiko had finished ordering the food he was back at Misaki's side. They sat comfortably together, Misaki taking the opportunity to lay his head on his tutor's shoulder. "Thank you." He softly said as he got more comfortable.

"You're more than welcome." Akihiko replied. Not wanting to ruin the moment but knowing this couldn't wait, he sat up straighter and moved Misaki to be facing him. "There's something you need to know." Akihiko said, looking at a now very confused Misaki. "Your brother has been arrested, Dean has been keeping in touch with the police and he mentioned it to me before he left."

Confusion turned to realisation as Misaki listened. Not sure on how to react to this news he asked, "Do you know what's going to happen now?"

If 3 years at law school taught Akihiko anything, it was how the process of conviction worked. "There going to try and convict Takahiro on greaves bodily harm. To do this properly they will need evidence and witnesses statements. So this will mean getting all the people who where involved in your care, me, Dean and possibly any neighbours who heard or witnessed anything. It's a long process but ultimately it's up to you. You can offer something called a plee bargain, if you offer this than Takahiro's sentence will be reduced if he admits to everything."

Misaki nodded, understanding a little of what he was saying. "Will he get help, for the drinking?" Akihiko was a little taken back by this remaining kindness he still had for his brother.

"Yes, if you like we can make it a mandatory to the plee bargain."

"Thank you for telling me. And I'll need to thank Dean for all the work his been doing with the police."

"You just focus on healing for now, we'll worry more about all that when you're more able."

They both smiled a little as they heard the door bell ring. Food.

Dean made his way to the hospital, that image of Misaki looking so happy to be at that man's house playing over in his head. It's not that he didn't like Usumi, he just didn't know him. He saw the way they look at each other, he knows that look. He owns an escort club for Christ sake, he just wanted Misaki to be safe.

he finally reached the hospital, only to nock into a nurse and watch all her paper work scatter. He imminently went down to gather as much as he could and she joined him. When he looked up he recognised her straight away.

"Oh, hello again." She said with another stunning smile, despite what just happened.

"H-hi." Dean answered, stumbling a little with his words.

"How's your friend doing, now he's out?" She continued, as they both got up from the floor.

"His still a sore, but he seems happy where he is."

"That's great, most people don't come back too often, their usually left to the community staff. It's good to know he's in high spirits."

Dean cleared his throat a little to draw her attention back to him. "His why I'm here actuality. Do you know where I could contact everyone who treated him. The police want as many statements as possible so they can formally charge the attacker." He left out the part about family, not wanting to shake out any dirty laundry on Misaki's behalf.

"Of course, the joy of being a sister means that I have all the records, but I will need the police to come and collect the names them selves with a warrant, I can't just hand this kind of stuff over."

"Yes, that's fine. Do you mind if I give them your name so they know who to ask?"

She gave him another dazzling smile, "My name is Sora Akita, sister nurse of the major injuries unit."

Dean made a mental note to write this down when he had pen and paper. Like she was reading his mind, Sora put the pile she was holding on the trolley next to her, whipped out her pad and wrote it all down.

"Thank you." Dean smiled as she passed the information over.

"So, what your name?"

"I'm Dean Kai, nice to meet you." He extended his hand and she met it. Despite his face, Sora always seemed to be smiling at him. He liked this about her, she had probably seen so many injuries that she has the power to look past them, and see the person underneath.
