Chapter 16
Night
Haru's Apartment
The time was 11:00 P.M., the Rating Game was scheduled to start at Midnight.
As I sat there on the couch and going over the situation in my head, I couldn't help but notice how at ease I felt.
Though I soon realized it's because I felt confident we could win, despite Riser's supposed immortality.
"There's just a few things I need to get"
As I closed my eyes and opened up the Naruto System, and started selecting a few items. As I finished a scroll popped into existence containing my items and landed in my left arm.
As I clenched it I thought "Better get started" as I opened the scroll and smoke filled the room.
Old School Building
As I walked inside the old school building I quickly entered one of the side rooms to get changed.
After spending a few minutes getting ready I walked up to the second floor and entered the clubroom.
"Sorry I'm late" I apologized lightly before walking inside.
"Don't worry, we still have time to spare…" as Kiba sheathed his sword and looked at me, though as he did he just stared at me while his eyes widened.
As the others looked at me they also had similar expressions on their faces, though Issei was pointing his finger at me.
"Haru, that outfit" Rias was the first to break the silence as she looked at me.
That's right. I changed my outfit for tonight's battle into something more fitting of a ninja.
I had decided to go with Sasuke's outfit from after he killed Itachi. Consisting of a grey high collared short sleeved shirt and blue wrist warmers. Also wearing a pair of dark blue pants, over which hangs a blue cloth that covers my stomach to my knees and secured with a purple rope belt.
My Kusanagi Sword was placed in the belt behind me.
After enjoying the looks on everyone's faces for a moment I scratched the back of my head "Yeah, you said we could be in what we feel most comfortable in, and this is it. Though it might be a little different from the ninjas you imagined huh" as I already had an idea of what she really pictured ninjas wore.
As I waited for her response "the school uniform feels a bit tight so this suited me better" as I remember only Asia had a different outfit from the rest.
"No, it's perfectly fine. In fact, I think it actually quite suits you more than the uniform " as she seemingly read my mind and smiled in delight.
"Right, that outfit looks badass man" Issei followed up on her as he looked at me with his smile.
"Ufufufu, I think it looks wonderful on you" as Akeno laughed and nodded her head.
"You look good" while Koneko gave her opinion while putting on a pair of black fighter's gloves with pink cat pawprints on the front.
"Right, you look great Haru" while my little sister Asia was happy while dressed in her nun's outfit.
As I looked on at everyone a smile greets my face "thanks you guys" as I offered my gratitude and took a spot near the window while crossing my arms.
Everyone then spent the next few minutes either preparing themselves or trying to calm their nerves.
Not long after I heard knocking at the door, Sona and Tsubaki entered the room, they both looked at me and seemed surprised by my attire, though I just smiled and waved at them.
"Sorry if I'm interrupting" as Sona apologizes while Tsubaki closes the door behind her.
"No, please come on in Sona"
"I'm glad you could make it" as both Rias and Akeno said their piece.
"Wow, I sure didn't expect to see those two here, what gives?"
"There's a live broadcast of the competition so family members can watch. Sona and Tsubaki are here to help out with that" as Rias answered Issei's question he seemed impressed by it.
"Great, so we're treated just like a show? Wonderful" as I acted sarcastically about the whole people watching me thing.
"And besides it's her first Rating Game, I wouldn't miss an event like this for anything"
"Well, I promise to do everything in my power to make it interesting for you"
Not a moment too soon, a teleportation circle appeared behind them, along with a flash of white light before Grayfia appeared in front of us with her usual stoic expression.
"It's almost time, I hope your ready for this Milady"
"Yes, we're ready whenever you are"
"In a few moments we'll use this magic circle to transport you and the rest of your team to the battlefield"
As both of them moved quickly Issei asked a question "and where exactly is the battlefield?"
"In a neutral alternate space created just for the game, because it's not real we have full license to do some damage, even burn it to the ground if we want" as Akeno brought her hand to her cheek and giggled in delight, sending a slight chill down both mine and Issei's spines.
"I'll be in the Student Council broadcast booth calling the game. We'll be cheering you on, good luck" while Sona wished for her fellow heiress to win.
"Thanks a lot, just try to keep the play by play fair"
"Oh I'll keep it clean. Though, if I was a betting girl. I'd say you're gonna beat that scumbag seven ways from Sunday" as she finished talking as both her and Tsubaki left for the Student Council.
After seeing her friend off with a smile she rested her head on her hand.
"There's something I forgot to tell you" as we all turn to look at Grayfia "I thought you'd like to know the Great Devil Lucifer will be watching the game"
Rias's face soon turned sour "ohhh, brother dearest"
"Brother?" I muttered to myself out loud, though that was just an act.
"Whoa, are you telling me your older brother is 'The Devil' or am I just hearing things wrong" as Issei panicked for a moment.
"No, Rias's brother is Lucifer, the King of the Devils" as Kiba dropped a bombshell on all three of us.
"Huh!"
"Ahhh!"
As Issei's mouth opened wide in disbelief while Asia covered her mouth with one hand like a proper lady.
"The 'Lucifer', the king of the entire Underworld is your big bro?" as Issei looks towards Rias who didn't seem thrilled about it at all as she only replied "that's right" without much energy.
Kiba who had his sword in front of him and his eyes closed "His name is Sirzechs, although historically he has been known by many names. During the Great War our leader died,Sirzechs took over the throne and led us through a dark time, he saved the devil kingdom from ruin" as Kiba summarized him as best he could.
"Well that explains why Rias is the next heir of the House of Gremory" while Asia seemed to get it.
"I had no idea" the same went for Issei as they both learned more about Devil society.
"No kidding. Seriously out of all the Devil families in the Underworld I joined the one with the 'literal' Devil at the top, small world that's for sure" as I shook my head as the corners of my lips curved in response.
W then saw the red magic circle with the Gremory Clan's crest on it appear next to Grayfia.
"It's time everyone" announced Grayfia.
"Then let's go" as Rias got up from her seat.
After that we all stepped on to the magic circle, as the light got brighter so did the intensity of the magic.
One by one everyone was being transported to the battlefield.
Till I was the only one left as I looked over at Grayfia and as the light intensified, I swore I could have seen her smile.
A Few Moments Later
As I felt the blinding light die down I opened my eyes slowly.
It first appeared as if we were still inside the clubroom, at least from what I could tell nothing had changed.
"That's weird"
"I think our magic circle's broken"
"Yeah, we're still here, did I screw it up again"
"Nope, not when Grayfia's the one who set it up"
[Your attention please. Welcome everyone, my name is Grayfia. I'm a servant of the House of Gremory, I will be your referee during today's match]
"Is she talking through the P.A system?" I asked nobody in particular, or it could just be magic, after all if you just slap something you can't explain as magic then suddenly everything makes sense, right?
Right?
[To create the battlefield you'll be competing in, I took suggestions from both Lady Rias and Lord Riser. You may recognize this place as it is an exact replica of Kuoh Academy, an educational institution in the human world]
"What does that mean?" asked Issei.
"Just take a look outside" she told him, I followed him and opened the window.
As I looked up I could see that the sky was green, it actually reminded of the aurora lights, though if the aurora was only one color.
"The sky?" as Asia looked on in shock.
"This is an alternate space"
"It might look like it but trust me, we're not at school anymore"
"Could have fooled me, so long as I didn't see the light show outside, Devils are amazing if they can create something like this with ease" as I imagined the kind of possibilities mankind could have if they all possessed the ability to use magic.
"Then again, it might also lead to their destruction. Since if humanity is known for one thing, it's being unpredictable"
"Okay, I'm totally having one of those 'I just peed my pants' moments right now" as Issei tried to cope with the change in environment, though to be honest I'm still having some trouble adjusting myself.
This coming from the guy who found himself in a world that has powers from anime's he thought we're nothing more than fantasy back home.
You can only imagine how much it would shock the Occult Research Club.
Though no time to dwell on that as Grayfia's voice continued.
[Each team has been given an area that will serve as its home base. Lady Rias, your crew will be in the Occult Research Club Headquarters in the old school building]
Rias didn't seem worried and ran her hand through her hair before straightening it displaying how calm she is.
[Lord Riser's home base will be located in the Principal's Office in the new schoolhouse. Pawns will be promoted if they can make their way to the home base of the opposing team, good luck to all.]
"Yeah right, like anyone watching is expecting Rias to win, if there was a gambling ring I'd betcha the odds were 1:9, 9 being in Riser's favor" as I thought about all the High Class Devils here watching the game, even though it isn't an official match it's still a game that will determine Rias's future.
Issei then smashed his fist into his open palm "I'm gonna fight my way to their home base right out of the gate, get promoted to something awesome, and beat the crap out of Lord Douchesnozzle"as I smiled at his enthusiasm.
Though I'm not sure that's even a word Issei.
Akeno smiled at him...
However, the next words that came out of her mouth were anything but kind .
"I wouldn't do that, unless you want to get your ass handed to you"
"Be smart dude, odds are Riser's gonna want to move his Pawns into our territory right away. We need to keep enough players nearby to make sure that doesn't happen" while Kiba shot down Issei.
"So not as badass as my plan" as he seemed to have the wind taken out of his sails.
"Maybe next time Issei" while I patted his shoulder in consolation.
Koneko then stepped forth and brought two pachinko sized red balls, one in each hand.
"Uh, thanks"
"Thank you, but what the hell is it?" as I took one of them for myself.
"These will help us communicate during the battle" summarized Rias as she used her powers to place the device in her ear which vanished shortly after.
"Alright, that's some secret agent shit" says Issei as him and the others put theirs on.
"No doubt, I betcha if regular human had access to this than cell phones would soon become an ancient relic, magic really is better than technology" as I put mine into my left ear, it reminded me of putting in an earphone for a moment before I felt it disappear.
[Alright Devils, let the game begin] as Grayfia announced the schools bell also tolled, which signaled the start of the game.
"Let's get this show started. Make sure you're watching closely Sirzechs, you'll find out what the Uchiha's are truly capable of"
"Kiba"
"Right"
As Rias orders him Kiba spreads a map on her desk that shows the basic layout of Kuoh Academy, it's actually the same one depicted when this was still just an anime, even the locations of the buildings and color scheme were the same.
"The enemy base is just across the way. Cutting through the school grounds might be quick but it's not an option"
"They'll see us coming a mile away" added Koneko
"Correct, and we might as well be sitting ducks"
"If we go through the track field and sneak in the back then we might have the element of surprise on our side" suggested Issei, though Rias shot that down since it's the most likely point of entry, one that Riser's expecting too.
She then placed her finger on the square labelled the club house "My guess is he'll station a group of Knights or Rooks with strong mobility right behind the athletic club house"
"That doesn't leave us with very many options then does it" as Akeno looks at the map with a serious face.
Kiba then placed his finger on the map labeled the gym "First things first. I think we should secure the gymnasium before we do anything else. It's adjacent to their home base and not too far from us. But most importantly, it will serve as a diversion to the other side"
"The gymnasium is basically in the center of the battlefield, whoever gets to it first is gonna have a leg up for sure" as Akeno grabbed her arm had offered her advice to Rias.
"Good call, given the options we have that's our best chance. Koneko, do you think you can handle getting in the gym and locking it down?" as Rias asks Koneko nods her head in agreement.
"All this talk of fighting is starting to scare me" says Asia.
I came by and patted her head "Don't worry Asia, we have Rias with us. Just trust her and everything will turn out alright" as she looks up at me I see her smiling "right, I'll do my best" she says while seeming to have calmed down a little.
"To do that, we need to secure a defensive perimeter. Kiba, Koneko, and Haru. Get out there and set up some traps in the woods ASAP"
"Got it"
"No problem" as I formed a hand sign and created a shadow clone, before handing him a scroll containing the ninja tools needed to set up traps..
"Dude, I will never get tired of seeing you do that" as Issei stared at me and my clone while smiling.
"Cool. Let's do this Shiro" as Koneko held her hands out, a magic circle immediately formed, Shiro then appeared with a 'POOF' before climbing onto Koneko's head.
"Well, wish us luck you guys" said Kiba before Koneko, my clone, and him walked out the door.
"Akeno, next we'll need your expertise, when they're done setting the traps your illusion magic is going to come in handy so be prepared" "I'll be waiting" as Akeno bowed in respect to Rias before leaving the room as well to set up her magic, leaving only me, Asia, and Issei with Rias.
"Weird, I told her about my Hidden Mist Jutsu. She might have something else up her sleeve" as I thought back to the training camp. I had shown them a few other jutsu beside the ones in my three chakra natures. Given that the Hidden mist Jutsu was a D-Rank Ninjutsu even a non Hidden Mist Shinobi can perform.
I thought she might want to use that but perhaps an illusion of one is just good enough for now.
"What about me and Asia, is there anything we can do to help out?" as I sat down on the couch Issei asked her.
"Asia you're my healing support. So in order to keep you safe you need to stay close to base. Because if we lose you were going to be in big trouble out there" as Rias walked over to the other couch.
"Okay"
"Issei, come here"
"For what?" Issei asked as his shoulders tensed up.
Rias sat down then patted her legs "I want you to put your head in my lap"
Issei then freaked out and tried to deny it, but an order from Rias quickly made him comply.
He soon started grinning like an idiot, followed by shock, then finally tears of joy.
Not long after he started spewing his usual perverted talk among other things.
I decided to try and ignore it, but eventually I just couldn't take it anymore and flipped a coin at Issei's face.
"OWWW"
"Issei, take it down a notch" as I warned him I pulled out my Kusanagi blade and began cleaning it. Though it was also meant to serve as a warning for Issei to keep it down, the effect was immediate and he managed to return to some semblance of normalcy.
Rias didn't seem to mind it and just smiled at our interactions.
"Haru, if you want I can let you sit on my lap later?" as she petted Issei's hair I couldn't help but feel shocked by her laissez faire attitude.
"Rias, can we talk about that after we kick Riser's ass?" I asked while focusing on my sword.
"Fine, I'll stand down for today. Now, onto the business at hand. Issei, I cast a little spell on you, it's time to unlock it" as she placed her hand once more on Issei's head.
I felt her using her demonic powers for a moment, before I soon felt Issei's power increase.
"Rias, what's going on with him?" I decided to play the fool and ask.
"When you became a foot soldier, I told you it used seven of my Pawn Pieces but what I didn't tell you was how much power you received"
"Wait, what?" as Issei was confused by her words.
"If I had unleashed everything at once, your body wouldn't have been able to take it. So I cast a spell to keep your power at bay. Because of the spell your abilities come to you in small manageable stages, what I just did was release another portion of your power"
"Makes sense" I said as I pretended to put two and two together.
"Okay, so does that explain the weird feeling I'm having right now?" he asked as he placed a hand close to his heart.
"This is just the beginning of what you can do Issei, but in order for your body to be able to handle your Boosted Gear on top of the full extent of your power we had to get you in shape and make sure you were strong enough. There's a good portion in there that your just not ready for yet"
"So this whole time you were running me ragged and busting my balls it was for my own good?" he asked, though I can already imagine what he's thinking of right now.
"Like Rias said before Issei, trust yourself. Before long you'll catch up to me, Kiba, Akeno, and everyone else. This is the power everyone here has helped you get, so stop blaming yourself" as I smiled at him, though I'll make sure I don't ever lose to you or Vali.
"Ahh, there I was being jealous when all along Rias was just trying to help him, dear God please forgive me for being so stupid and letting my awful jealousy get the best of me" as Asia sat down by me and clasped her hands in prayer.
BZZZ!
BZZZ!
"Owww"
Though of course this resulted in her receiving damage from His wrath, as I stroked Asia's head and comforted her Issei was giving me a pretty nasty glare. Though given since he was laying on Rias's lap you could call it even.
Both of us just glared at one another and the girls seemed to notice the sparks going on between us.
Rias was a little surprised by this but just closed her eyes as a small smirk graced her lips.
Asia however was more obvious as she looked at Issei, her faced blushed red in embarrassment before she smiled along with Rias.
She then looked at both of us before speaking "Both of you do your best out there, don't go easy on them just because your opponents are girls. Take those Pawns out, given the opportunity they'll do the same thing to you"
"I won't let you down, those Devil hotties will be sorry they messed with Team Gremory" and Issei clenched his fist in declaration.
"You've got it, it's about time the whole Underworld witness the power of the Uchiha Clan, I'll show Riser that in this world there is no such thing as an immortal"
"I can't wait to see what you two do out there, your powers will be one of our greatest assets in this fight, and I just know you're going to make me proud" as she smiles at us.
[Rias, do you copy?]
I hear Akeno's voice coming through my ear, it surprised me for a moment before putting my hand to my ear like Rias is doing.
"I hear you loud and clear"
[Were ready when you are, just say the word]
BZZT!
At the same time I feel my restoring along with the experiences the Shadow Clone I sent out with Kiba and Koneko earlier return to me.
I take a moment to process it before a smile forms on my face "she's right. My traps are all set too" as I let Rias know, she nods and stands up.
THUD!
BANG!
"OW!" of course since she got up suddenly Issei couldn't react and winded up with his head hitting the coffee tables side, causing him to clutch his head in pain.
"Alright you guys, here's the game plan"
Outside the Old School Building
Both Issei and I met up with Koneko
We merely nodded to each other before Rias started speaking and out our hands to our ears.
[Okay, once your in the gym there's no way you can avoid a confrontation, be sure to follow our plan]
""Got it"" as all three of us replied at once.
[Kiba, you all set?]
[Yup, I'm in position now]
The second voice was definitely Kiba's.
[Akeno, standby to move. I'm counting on you]
[We totally got this]
"More than you realize Akeno" as I smiled, the chance to finally pulverize Riser had come.
[Let's go team, commence Operation Phenex Ashes. Your opponent is Lord Riser, a gifted warrior even among the House of Phenex, show no mercy cause none will be shown to you]
With Rias's words of encouragement, me, Issei and Koneko made our way to the gym.
Though since the front entrance is connected to the new school building, we'll have to enter from the opposite side of the gym.
"Since this place is a replica the doors are all unlocked, how convenient" as Issei opened the door we soon found ourselves in the backstage area, we stopped next to the curtains and crouched down.
"I can't believe how good of a copy this place is"
"Yeah, if someone said this battle took place at the real Kuoh Academy I'd believe them. Of course that's not the important issue at hand"
"They're here"
As soon as Koneko's voice dropped the lights on the ceiling lit up and illuminates the whole place.
"Smells like Gremory filth, come out come out wherever you are" as a playful voice echo throughout the gym
"Well I guess the stealth approach isn't gonna work is it" says Issei
"I doubt it would have anyway, it's not your style" as I countered him.
"True enough"
All three of us walked out and were met with four girls.
One of them was the girl Mira who I mopped the floor (or in my case the ceiling) with a while back.
And I can tell from the look on her face that she was still pissed about it, not that I cared what she thought about me.
The others were a woman in a china dress with her hair tied up into buns and a pair of twins wearing gym uniforms with red and blue duffel bags on their shoulders.
"Look at what we have here, she sent us two Pawns and a Rook, how very generous of her" says the qipao wearing girl, while 'her' must mean Rias.
"Uhh, who are they?" as Issei flinched in nervousness.
"I'm Mira, and I'm a Phenex Pawn"
"I'm Xuelan, the Phenex Rook"
"I'm Ile, and I'm a Pawn"
"My name's Nel and I'm also a Pawn" they all introduce themselves one after the other.
As Koneko narrowed her eyes she spoke "The Rook chick, she could be a big problem for us"
"Mind clarifying Koneko" as I humored her
"Based on her power level she's got the skills of a Queen"
"That's not good" while Issei looks a bit nervous.
As we all look at the them for a moment "so, how do you guys wanna play this?" he asked.
"What the hell, we knew we were underdogs from the beginning. Let's just do this" as Issei summoned his Boosted Gear and powered up.
"Works for me" as I got ready and took a fighting stance.
Koneko put on her fighter gloves and ordered us "Issei, the twins are all yours. Haru, you take care of the staff wielder. I'll try my luck with the Rook, watch my back out there you two, at least keep those chicken heads off me" as she spoke from probably the second longest time so far.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna go easy on them because their girls, I'll choke a chicken"
"All right, let's do this" as I called out to them, we all ran out to meet our assigned opponents.
Koneko soon started fighting the Rook chick, who lit her feet on fire. Trying to close the gap as she laid out a series of punches and kicks clad in fire, though Koneko was able to block them or dodge them with ease while keeping her fists up.
As Koneko took a step back from one of her kicks before closing in.
Xuelan placed her hand on the ground and kicked backwards just as Koneko was getting in close, she was able to dodge it by only a hair's breadth.
RIIIP!
Though her school uniform wasn't so lucky, revealing a white and pink striped underwear for everyone to see.
As for Mira (the girl who I launched into the ceiling during our first meeting) was currently twirling her staff which she lit with fire, as she swung up, down, left, and right as if she was dancing. I spent for the most part dodging and keeping my distance.
Though the force behind her attacks was incredible since she can control wind and fire due to being from the Phenex family.
And since they can do that I can't use any Fire Style or Wind Style Jutsu as that would just give them a bigger advantage.
"Stop dodging me you bastard, I'll make you pay for last time with interest" she said as she lifted her staff, preparing to strike me from above.
"To be fair.." as sidestepped to the left to avoid it and kicked with my right foot "I don't care" only to be blocked by her staff.
I then saw a smile on her face "Not good" though before I could react she quickly lifted her staff up and held in her right hand and under her armpit, before leaning forward with her right foot and shoving the staff into my stomach.
BAM!
BOOM!
At the moment of impact she used her wind magic to create a tornado and send me flying across the room, where I crashed into the wall, causing spiderweb cracks to spread out from the impact.
As I slowly slid down and landed on one knee and tried to get my head straight by shaking it "Not bad, seems like she's improved since last time" as I slowly rise up and got back on my feet, I could see Mira was surprised for a moment before her eyes narrowed back in seriousness.
That attack did hurt, but I'm nowhere near down for the count "that was pretty good, this just makes things a lot more interesting" praising her and got back into my fighting stance.
"You haven't seen nothing yet" she said as she didn't give me anytime to rest and came charging at me once more, though even faster than before.
"I was just testing her, but I can't afford to drag this out, I prefer to conserve my chakra as much as possible for now" as I silently open the Second Gate and quickly felt my body brimming with strength and the slight pain from earlier vanishing.
Soon me and her were fighting on equal ground as small shockwaves were released from her and me.
Issei on the other hand was just running away from the twins as they chased him around with chainsaws, wanting to chop him to pieces.
"Why are you running pansy boy?" asked one of the twins though I couldn't tell them apart.
"What's the matter, not a fan of chainsaws?" yelled out the other twins.
Though I ignored Issei's banter and refocused on the fight , as I got in close and grabbed her staff.
"Oh no, I'm not falling for that again" said Mira as she quickly pulled herself back and tried to keep her distance.
"Now" as I took advantage of her weakness, her trauma from last time and quickly attached something to it.
"What is this?" as she had taken sufficient distance from me and looked at her staff, which had a scrap of paper with special writing, though in the center of it was the kanji for…
"Hahh" as I yelled out and formed the "Snake" hand seal
Boom!
Crack!
"Ahhh"
"Explode" written on them.
That was an Explosive Tag, one of the ninja tools I carried with me into this fight, the others were used however for a different purpose so I only had four on me, I just used one right now to end this fight quickly
As smoke filled that part of the room, everyone seemingly stopped fighting and looked at the scene.
Once the smoke cleared, it revealed Mira who was on the floor, covered with cuts and bruises, though it seems like the force of the explosion sent her to the edge of it, leaving a crater over three meters wide.
As for her staff it seemed like she used it as a shield to protect her as best she could, but there were only fragments of it scattered around. Just the tip had managed to survive the blast but was severely burned.
Since I didn't want to kill them I cut back the power just a bit, after all, the Rating Game's retiring system isn't perfect and I didn't want to risk blowing her up into a million pieces and getting disqualified.
As she tried getting up "my staff, it's broken" as she held it in disbelief, I walked over to her.
"Sorry about that, but I need to conserve my strength for that pompous bastard, hope you can understand" as I brought up my fist and about to finish her off.
"Haru, wait"
As I heard a voice behind me both Mira and I looked towards the source of the voice, it was obviously Issei as I saw that Ile and Nel behind him on the floor just a few feet away.
As faster than I've ever seen him move he quickly approached Mira and placed his hand on her shoulder and slamming her down on the floor again. Out of which I could see that a magic seal was placed on it for a moment before vanishing.
As he quickly returned and stood next to me "you're gonna love this" he says before wondering what he was talking about, before my eyes widened in realization.
"Oh for the Love of everything unholy, No" as my mind slowed down trying to process what was about to happen next, before I could stop him Issei had already acted.
His eyes turned serious as his Devil Wings unfurled, taking a pose before saying "bring it on"
All three of the girls came together at some point without me noticing and soon clad their respective weapons and hands in fire before charging at us.
"Here's my special move" as Issei brought his hand down, placed his other hand to hold his Boosted Gear and his fingers together.
Koneko who had at some point during my fight with Mira had managed to hold down Xuelan and was sitting on top of her while pinning her leg in some type of hold.
"Time to get... naked!" as Issei announced he snapped his fingers, lighting up the magic circles placed on three girls earlier by him.
RIIIIIPPP!

RIIIIIPPP!

What followed was utter silence.
As nothing could be heard of for a moment, as probably everyone in the room, and those watching were left in shock.
However, that silence was soon filled by something else.
"AHHHHHHHH!"
The screams of the three girls from earlier.
Why?
You may be asking.
Of course.
All three of them had their clothes torn to shreds in an instant.
Leaving them as naked as the day they were born.
With their boobs and private parts on full display for for all to see, though they tried to cover themselves up as best they could.
"HAHAHAHAHA" followed by an evil laughter by the culprit responsible.
That of course, being Issei.

I couldn't even begin to describe how I was feeling seeing this in person.
On one hand I feel like Issei just accomplished something that probably every pervert dreamed of.
On the other, I feel absolutely disgusted with myself and guilt for not having ignored Issei and just finished her off, at least that way I could have spared her some of the embarrassment.
Though as the girls scream returned me to my senses I turned around and just stared at Issei with a disappointed look.
"You ladies like that, since the first moment my tiny baby man balls dropped all I ever did was undress girls with my eyes, but now thanks to a lot of hard work and my perverted powers I just have to imagine you naked and my vision comes true. Try and mess with me…" as he struck another stupid pose.
"Tops are coming off"
"... Issei"
"Huh, what is it Ha..ru?" as he turned to look at me with a smile, though that quickly changed as he saw the dead fish stare I was giving him.
"...When this is over, you and I are gonna have a serious talk about your perversion Issei, be prepared for HELL" as I gripped his shoulder tightly and used chakra to tighten it so that he couldn't escape.
"W-W-W-Wait a m-moment Haru, c-c-c-c-c-can't we talk this out?" as Issei started shaking in terror and sweat fell down his face in buckets.
"Nope, not a chance" with a smile on my face, which served only to compound the terror and dread in Issei's heart.
Inside the Boosted Gear
[HAHAHAHAHAHA, it seems like things will be far more interesting than I imagined, HAHAHAHAHAHA]
As the voice of an ancient being laughed on and saw this, he couldn't but build up in anticipation for the future.
"Dirtbag"
"Slime Bucket"
"You make me sick"
As all of the girls from Phenex hurled insults while trying to cover themselves up as much as they could.
After getting my message across to a terrified Issei, I looked over at Koneko and my anger started to fade, the momentum I had going in the heat of the moment started to vanish as my shoulders dropped in defeat.
Already knowing that nothing in this world could cure Issei of his pervertedness, I could try to beat some sense into him, but in the end Issei is Issei, there's not a whole lot you can do about it.
"Well, maybe there is one thing" as I made a mental note to pick up that when he comes around and hid my smile.
As I looked back at Issei it seemed he quickly recovered from his fear by looking at his handiwork to cope with the terror in his heart, he was actually crying tears of joy while most likely remembering the help he got from Asia to perfect this move.
"I know his perverted powers make him invincible against women, but come on. How the hell can a power like that be allowed to exist in this world?" as I questioned if coming here was the right thing for me, which thanks to Issei will probably make me question all of reality even more as time goes by.
"Dude, you're such a loser" muttered Koneko.
"Agreed. You're the worst" as I did as coldly as Koneko probably would have.
STAB!
That seemed to work as Issei flinched from the cold treatment he got from us, though in all fairness he does in fact deserve it.
"Ahhh, I thought you guys would be proud"
"No one in the entire universe except perverts like you would be Issei" as I countered him Issei flinched once more as another arrow pierced his fragile ego.
As I ignored the incarnation of Lust in human form I looked to Koneko who had the Rook literally laying at her feet.
"Great work taking out the Rook, I'll buy you some more snacks if you can take out a couple more"
"Deal" she answered immediately, as a small smile appeared as she probably wondered what kinds of sweets she would get.
Since meeting her I made it a point to bring snacks with me everyday, which I share with Koneko as we eat together and actually got closer because of it. Like with the incident with Raynare I promised to get her snacks (which I did keep) she's been waiting for another chance like this, and she wasn't about to give it up and only motivated her more.
[Haru, Koneko, Issei, what's your status?]
As I hear Rias's voice come through the earpiece.
As he placed a hand to his ear "we're good here, though…"
[What is it? Did something happen?] as Rias's voice turned slightly more serious.
"It's not that, it's just… a piece of my soul just died right now… all thanks to Issei" as he looked up at the windows of the gymnasium with a sad expression, as if trying to hold back the tears.
[What did he do? Tell me Haru] as she heard his voice, it seemed she was relieved but now sounded more curious about what he did.
"Were good, the gym is now under our control... and the girls, I made their clothes rip off" as Issei reported his achievements he made another perverted face while looking at Koneko with lecherous eyes.
[...I see, good work Issei. Akeno is in position and she's ready to go, you guys need to get out of there immediately] even Rias had to take a moment to process that, before reverting back to her serious tone.
"Finally moving on with the fight, I wonder how it will look like seeing it in person?" as Haru looked at Issei and Koneko, both of them nodded their heads in response, as we soon made our way out the gym.
"Hey, come back here. This fight isn't over yet"
"Who runs away in the middle of a battle?"
"Oh, you'll find out why sooner than you think" as he heard the girl's voices as they left a small smirk appeared.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BZZZT!
As we left the gymnasium, we can already see what's happening above it, huge clouds started swirling and forming together while huge sparks of electricity raged about it.
He could also sense a huge amount of demonic power gathering together in one place, this was enough to even make a high ranking Devil think twice before trying something.
Soon a yellow magic circle appeared above it with the crest of the Gremory family present in the center.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BANG!
As he looked behind he saw a single bolt of lighting be released, but that alone created a massive explosion, blowing the entire gym sky-high.
"Shit" Haru yelled out in panic as the force from the blast pushed us further away and caused dust to cover the area.
A few seconds go by and as the dust settles and Haru gets back on his feet "Jeez, what the hell happened here?" as he dusted himself before looking back in utter shock at Akeno's handiwork.
"Boom" as he looked and saw Akeno dressed in a Miko outfit with a look of pure ecstasy on her face.
[Three of Lord Riser's Pawns and one of Lord Riser's Rooks… retires]
"Talk about overkill" as cold sweat dripped down his face he tries to keep his composure and sends a friendly smile towards Akeno.
"No kidding Haru, it was still badass"
"Badass is one way to put it, she's the real deal. It's why her nickname is the Priestess of Thunder, she knows how to bring the boom… and she likes it" as Koneko added what was probably the longest I've heard her speaking in one go.
"If she's the Priestess of anything it's pain, I'm just glad the hardcore dominatrix isn't on the other team"
"For once we agree on something" as they looked at the aftermath he couldn't help but compare Akeno's handiwork to Sasuke's destruction of the Uchiha hideout with Kirin.
Though they may be different in both terms of scale and destructive powers, the outcome is ever the same, complete annihilation of the caster's enemy.
Haru then waves over to her, which is returned with Akeno giving her own wave back as she licks her lips as she's still turned on from earlier.
Not a moment sooner we hear Rias's voice again.
[Alright everyone listen, the Phenex's still have us outnumbered, we'll need to buy Akeno a little bit of time so she can be fully ready for her second attack. Once her power is replenished we'll start to make preparations for our next move]
[Until then, stick to the plan and I promise you we will win this thing]
"Got it, we'll be heading out now" as I looked at the others.
"So?" asked Issei to us.
"We need to get to the athletic field as soon as we can, Kiba's waiting for us there. If we see any bad guys we own them, sound good"
Haru on the other hand already walked ahead of them
"You guys coming or what?" he called out to them with a hand on his hip as he smiled.
Both of them looked at one another before nodding their heads and started running towards him.
At that moment…
BBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
BBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
""AHHHHHH"" followed by the screams of Issei and Koneko as they were hurled by the shockwave.

Dust and debris littered the field, followed by the muffled pains and groans of the Pawn and Rook.
As both of them struggled for a moment before coming to their feet. Covered in dirt and minor scratches both looked at the sight in horror.
""HAAARRRRUUUUUU!""
Both of them called out both at the top of their lungs.
[Issei, Koneko, what happened to Haru? Talk to me, what happened?] while Rias's panicked voice came through the comms, though neither of them responded back to her.

First of all I'm sorry, the rest is coming out in a bit as I'm exhausted today from helping my parents and couldn't get all of them out at once. Hope you guys understand.
