Turtle Tot years part 3 Dreams over reality
Summary: Mikey rather stay in his dreams.
Note: Get something to eat or something, this is a long chapter. Seriously, I have trouble writing short chapters. I only wrote one short chapter because I didn't want to make myself cry during the reread. Which was the one-shot title the Good die young that you can find it in my story list on my profile. Even friends and family whine about my long text messages because I give them long text messages. I am curious though when you read what do you prefer long chapters or short chapters?
"Come on Mikey get up," Raph said.
Raph didn't like having to share his new room with his baby brother, but it helped Mikey and the nightmares happened less compared to when he was alone. If it helped his bro. He would rather have to deal with it then worry when his baby brother would wake up screaming.
"Bro, I know you're a deep sleeper when you want to be. But you have to get up."
Raph shakes his brother up whom is tuck into all the sheets. Somewhere during the night, Mikey had snatched them all to himself. Raph tried to pull a couple for himself too, but Mikey had a shocking strong grip leaving Raph a little cold throughout the night.
"Mike?"
Raph was worried a little his brother wasn't waking up he checked to see if his brother was still breathing. Mikey was, but he just wouldn't wake up. Raph did what anybody else would do in a situation like this.
"Dad!" he roared.
Leaving his brother alone as he went through the lair looking for the wise rat.
"My son?" Splinter asked the moment he saw the panic in his second oldest green eyes.
"It's Mikey, something wrong he won't wake up."
In the background Leo and Donnie poked their heads into the room to see what was all the fuss about. The moment they heard Mikey name they dashed to their brother side. Raph and Master Splinter quickly behind them.
"Michelangelo," Splinter said shaking his son by the shoulder. Three older brothers holding just as much concerned as Splinter is. "My son, please wake up."
"Mikey?" Leo asked looking over his baby brother.
"Mike," Donnie said with tears in his eyes.
"Wake up!" Raph ordered.
Mikey did not move from Raph bed and the only sign that the youngest was still alive was the slow steady movement of his breathing that told his family one thing. Mikey didn't die in his sleep.
"It's nice here," Mikey said to himself.
The room around him was a mix with light pink and bright yellow nothing but him. He isn't too sure if he had entered the astral plan or just stayed sleeping. Either way the place was light compared to his body feeling tensed in waking life. It was nice, it was calm it brought a sense of peace to a young Mikey that he hadn't felt in so long.
"My son, you cannot do this to your brothers," the woman said.
For an odd reason Mikey thought the woman was his mother. Only problem Mikey did not remember having a mother nor did he remember having brothers.
"Who are you?" he asked.
The woman looked so sad and almost ready to cry. Mikey did not want her to cry. Couldn't she see that he was finally happy, finally at peace, finally where he belonged.
"My son you must leave this place. It is slowly erasing your mind because at some point you had decided that living was not worth it. Your soul itself is slowly transforming from the earth realm to the spirit."
"Meaning?" he asked.
"Meaning you are slowly dying," she explained.
Dying sounded painful and yet he felt no pain. He didn't feel numb either just a sense of peace he liked the peace it didn't scream at him like stress or doubt had done before.
"I like it here though it's so nice."
He could hear voices calling out his name he does not understand where the voices come from or who they belong to.
"Oh, my sweet child."
The woman was gone in a blink of an eye leaving him here somewhere between the astral world and the waking life. Leaving him alone in peace.
Master Splinter tried to connected with his son spirit. Tried to understand where his son had decided that sleeping was better than waking up again. His son spirit was slowly going away from him and for a moment he feared the worst.
"My love."
He was not expecting to find his wife though he had tried to connected with her after her death, but it isn't until now where he finally did. He finds someone that he wasn't even trying to connected with.
"Tang Shen. I'm sorry my dear but I am looking for our son."
"I know. That's why I am here Michelangelo had chosen the spirit world is better than the living. Because of this he is slowly forgetting everything about his family. The longer he stays in that world the more time his body will slowly fail allowing him to stay in the spirit world forever."
"What can we do?" he asked with a frown.
He must save his son he cannot lose another child nor did he think his three sons would handle the death of their brother well. His sons had not seen death and he wished to shelter them from that experience until they are old enough to understand.
"I do not know my love. But I will try my best to help our son remember the living."
"Then I will also try my best here as will."
She flashed him a smile.
"Take care of our three oldest as will my love."
Splinter nodded his head at the request and his wife was gone.
Mikey stayed in the room with light pink and yellow he stayed in the place of peace, he saw a girl though walking by he watched her do moves throwing punches, spinning, kicking, backflips all with weapons in her hand and short black hair.
"Who are you?" he asked the girl.
The girl stopped her training and turned to him with a raise eyebrow.
"Am I dreaming again," she said. "I must be if you're here though."
"You didn't answer my question."
"It's Karai remember?"
He gets a feeling in the pit of his stomach like he should know this person. She is much younger than what he is used to seeing.
"No."
"Oh," she said. "Why don't you remember?"
"I don't know. Apparently, I have brothers to."
"Really, there's more of you how many?"
"I don't know that either."
She looked at him in disappointment.
"You must remember something if you remember you have brothers."
"I only know I have brothers because some female told me she looked a little like you. Only her hair was longer and she was taller."
"Did you get a name?" she asked.
There is something in her eyes almost hope and he wonders why she would be so hopeful over this. He had the oddest thought though that the pair are mother and daughter. A mother that never got to see her daughter grow and a daughter that never got to know about her mother. He does not know if that information is true or not nor does he know why he himself even had the information.
"No, but she called me my son."
"Oh. So, she might be a turtle like you."
He snorted.
"She's human like you looked a lot like you to."
"Really?" she asked before changing the topic. "Want to train with me. It has to better then sitting here. Where is here?"
"I don't know," he admitted.
"You don't know much do you."
"I think I'm forgetting things," he said. "But I supposed you can train with me."
So, the pair of them did. Training until Karai would wake up and think to herself she had a nice dream.
"Master Splinter why is Mikey still dreaming?" Donnie asked. "He should have woken up ages ago. He's never slept in for this long."
Donnie just wanted his little baby brother back he didn't like dealing with this Mikey that won't wake up to anything. Mikey needed something to eat, he needed something to drink but Mikey did not move and Donnie is worried. Since he knows if one didn't eat or drink then they might stay asleep forever. Donnie does not want Mikey to stay asleep forever.
"It was a choice he had made," Splinter said. "Our only chances in helping your brother now my son. Is to try and remind him to return home."
Master Splinter said Mikey soul was lost walking in the realm that Donnie didn't understand, the one world which wasn't physically around them. Only Master Splinter and Leo are good at going to the astral realm and now Mikey had decided the realm was better than the earth they live on.
"Come on little brother. Don't go," Donnie said holding back a new fresh bunch of tears.
"My mother was killed," she said to him one day.
"I'm sorry," he told Karai.
She shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't really know how to feel about that. I never knew her, but my father said that she was killed by this awful man. That was jealous of him because she picked my father over him. And, killed her shortly after I was born. My father says if we meet the man again, I will have the honor in killing him myself."
"Do you want to kill him?" he asked.
"Why would you ask that question off course I do. My father said."
"No, I heard that. You said your father have given you permission to kill the man that killed your mother. But do you want to kill him?"
"I have to in a way," she said. "I have to make him pay for killing my mother. And beside father said if I do, then I will get to take over the Foot clan one day. I want to show my father that I'm just as strong as him and capable as him."
"Do you know if it's true?" he asked looking at the bright yellow above them.
"What is?" she said.
"The story. I mean how do you know if it happened if you weren't there."
"Why would my father lie to me about that?" she demanded.
He shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know."
"That's right you don't know," she said furiously. "You don't even know who you are anymore I have to remind you every time I am here Michelangelo. So, don't say anything like that about my father he's an honorable man unlike the man that killed my mother."
She stormed off and leaves him behind there is a part of Karai that believes the man who raised her is not her father at all.
"But I don't want rest," Leo said. "I'm fine Master Splinter."
"Leonardo, I have warned you of the dangers about spending too much time in the astral world. You know very well, why I am pulling you away from your mediation to rest."
Leo had been mediating for a while now and looking for his brother in the astral world. In hopes his baby brother is there and Leo can talk some sense into Mikey to come back home, to tell Mikey that the family needed him.
"I know. I just miss my brother."
He told himself he shouldn't cry he was the oldest after all and shouldn't be seen to cry. He can't help it though as he breaks down into tears he just wants to help, he just wanted Mikey to wake up again.
"I know my son. I know we all do," Master Splinter said taking Leo into a hug.
Leo must have fallen asleep at some point though because the next time he wakes up he's in his room.
"Michelangelo."
The mutant turtle hears his name being called.
"Michelangelo."
He does not know who is calling him.
"Michelangelo."
He does not even remember where he was.
"Michelangelo."
Nor, does he remember who he was.
"Michelangelo focus."
He turned to see the girl again standing there she had tears in her eyes. He does not think she is to one to openly show her emotions and he does not like to see her cry.
"Why you crying?" he asked.
A part of him said his sister is sad. He does not remember him having a sister.
"You don't remember me, do you?"
He shakes his head.
"I'm Karai."
For some reason the name does not fit, it is not her name and he does not understand why he would even think of such a thing.
"No, you're not," he said. "Your Miwa."
For some strange reason she broke down crying, he did not like seeing her cry for he oddly picture her as someone that didn't openly show her emotions. He frowned but hug her nevertheless.
Raph saw red. Raph always did have a problem with his anger more so then his brothers, Mikey often helped him though, often helped Raph to let it go in a healthy way. Mikey wasn't here though he still hadn't woken up and Master Splinter was worried because Mikey was growing thin. He kept mumbling how they wished they were human so Master Splinter could take Mikey to someone that could help. Someone that would stop their brother from growing thin, thin enough he looked like a twig and let his little brother wasn't waking up.
Raph wanted to punch something, anything, anyone he wanted to yell and scream, he wanted to cry, he wanted to do something. He wished just for this moment he was human, wished to be human just how Master Splinter used to be. So, maybe, just maybe someone could help his baby brother.
"It's not fair." Raph said to Spike.
Spike looked at Raph and Raph wanted to destroy his room. He did so yesterday but it didn't help his anger, only Mikey could help Raph his anger and Mikey needed the help more.
"We should be human to."
Raph never cared for being human though he liked how he was, but Master Splinter had always warned the brothers on how some humans may frown upon them. There wasn't anything wrong with them though they were just different, something that nobody else had seen. Master Splinter had also warned sometimes people do strange things whenever fear is in control.
"If we had been human Mike be able to get help. He might even be awake."
He won't be almost dead, his mind whispered.
"Raph!"
Raph turned to Leo that called out his name.
"It's Mikey something going on Master Splinter wants us all there."
Raph picked up Spike into his hands and rushed to his baby brother room. Donnie was crying on Master Splinter robe and Master Splinter was humming, rubbing his baby brother forehead. Raph wonder for a minute why he had been suddenly called. Nothing seemed to have changed, but then he noticed his baby brother breathing it was a lot weaker than normal. Almost as if, no Raph refused to even think such a thing.
"What's going on?"
"My son," Master Splinter said holding out an arm.
Raph didn't move even if Leo went to check on Mikey only to be hug closed by Master Splinter.
"What's going on?" he demanded again.
"Mike not going to wake up," Donnie said. "Master Splinter thinks that Mikey will stay asleep soon."
"He's already has been," Raph pointed out.
Donnie glared at him with tears in his eyes.
"He means he's going to die. He, be dead like our sister and mum are. That's what dad means Raph, Mikey going to die."
It can't be that bad can it? Mikey will wake up, won't he, he be alright. Raph had never experience such a thing and sure Master Splinter had told the family about those stories, but it didn't really affect Raph. Mainly Mikey though because Mike always wanted a mother, but it didn't affect Raph because Raph never knew them. He knew Mikey though and Raph refused to believe that his baby brother would just go, just not be there anymore. Even if Raph had to deal with Mikey nightmares or his breaks downs, or watch him go around the lair speaking to things that only Mikey could see. Raph would happily deal with that if it meant Mikey would stay.
Raph felt his father furry arm brining him forward closer to his soon to be gone baby brother. Raph ignored his tears.
"Wake up Mikey," Raph said. "I said wake up!"
Raph roared, he roared like those monsters from the old television shows that stamped on people houses. He roared at Mikey to wake up.
"Wake up! I said wake up stop pranking around and wake up!"
Master Splinter only seemed to hold him tighter and Spike must have gotten out from his hands at one point because the little turtle was on Mikey bed. Raph suddenly hated Spike because Mikey gave him Spike, he wanted to push the turtle of the bed because how dare the normal turtle be on his brother bed at all. He didn't though he decided yelling in Mikey ear was better than pushing the turtle of the bed, it was also better then listening to his family crying in fears the youngest may leave them forever.
The room had turned orange he wonder why he was here, wonder who he was, wonder why it was so lonely. He had things to do, he had goals, he had something that needed to be done. Something about changing the future, something about protecting loved ones. Something. If only he could remember it, what he was and who he was, his goals and even his name was all on the tip of his tongue. He just couldn't remember what.
He missed her. The feeling in the pit of his stomach he missed her, he did not remember who her was but he remembered sharing a connection with her. A sister he liked to think, a sister that he had forgotten she was just a faceless voice in the back of his mind.
"Wake up!"
He flinched at the loud voice his mind taken back to a destroy city, bombs falling to the sky and hitting the ground, people running for shelter. He shakes his head and the thoughts stop.
"Wake up Mikey!"
His mind once again takes him somewhere else, blue, red, purple.
"Let me go." He said, the pictures in his mind fades away.
He cries. He does not understand why he is crying but the pain is so deep, so much sadness like he had lost everything and everybody he had ever cared for. The worst part he does not remember who.
"Wake up!"
He feels anger, he feels heat overwhelming in his body and he sees red. He does not understand why he sees red and yet red seemed to mean something to him.
"I think it's time to wake up me."
He looked to the person standing in front of him. It wasn't a person but a mutant turtle a kid at that.
"You're a kid to," the little one said. "Will, again. Back to a tot again which is strange but hey we've dealt with stranger stuff."
"Who are you?" he asked.
The kid smiles and it's so bright that its almost blindly.
"You really don't remember do you dude. I'm you, I'm you inner you. Little Mikey. I don't have much time to explain though bro, but your running on thin ice. The choice is up to you. If you stay here your body stops working. What I mean by that? You die."
"I'm alive?" he asked slowly, the whole topic does not seem to make any sense to him at all. Little Mikey giggled.
"Yeah, bro. Your alive. Your meant to be alive. We had been given a second chance man, it's what our family wanted."
He does not remember a family.
"Wake up Mikey, wake up now so I can punch you!"
"That's Raph," little Mikey said. "Remember big brother Raphie. We always went to him for our nightmares."
"You mentioned about family," he said little Mikey nodded his head.
"I only know as much as you, but I know a little more than you. Our family all got killed in that timeline dude. But wherever their spirits are now, they all got together. They decided they didn't want us there."
"Why would they not want us there if we are family?"
"It's not like that. They didn't want us there because they didn't like us. Our family loved us, maybe a little too much but the point is when we died in that timeline. Our family demanded that you were to be saved. That we had to be saved. So, they got together and did just that saved us and brought us into our current time."
"Wake up, just wake up Mike please."
"Raphie never says please," Little Mikey said.
"The choice is yours though dude. If you go to the left," little Mikey said pointing to a wooden door. "You get to see our family again. Pretty, sure Leo would lecture us for hours, Donnie be mothering us for the next hours and Raph will yell our heads off. Or, you can go to your right."
Mikey turned to see a wooden door standing beside him.
"That one will take you into the timeline you have been in. The one where we are tots again, it be tough though."
"Mike."
"I do not understand how this is working at all," he flat out said.
Little Mikey shrugged his shoulders.
"Only someone close to us would, but even this form of time travel would be new to her. Either way this happened, our body was dead in that timeline but the soul lives on. So, now its your choice this time not the clan choice yours. Left, or right?"
"What happens to the ones I leave behind? The ones calling out my name."
"Oh right, forgot you don't know who we are or who Raphie is. Those ones will just think they lost a baby brother. It's a different timeline though so things will end up going differently. Leo, might even be somewhat controlling to. Just because he might think he needs to in order to keep the last two of his brothers alive. Raph won't listen to anyone either, I don't think his future looks so great without us. Donnie wonders, how you died. The only good thing about our death and the impact it has on them, would be Donnie."
He sees purple flashing through his mind.
"Donnie will spend most of his days trying to work out how you died. In the process he will find a bunch of cures for other medical sickness. It won't be good enough though because he's only trying to work out what happened to us. Our Ni-san smart, but not perfect. I think him overworking himself might send him a little insane." Little Mikey paused. "Okay, a lot insane, Shredder insane."
"If I go what happens to the family that I have on the other side?"
"You lose contact with them," Little Mikey said. "I don't know all the ins and outs, but you lose contact with them because they're still alive in that timeline. In the other timeline after Dee death we tried so hard to speak to them through mediation. But because of our own sadness it created a block between us, just like it will here. It, be one big wall and neither side will be able to reach out. Only mum can because she's been dead for years in both timelines. She, be the only one that knows what happened in our first timeline and the only one that knows what happened in this one. Does that make sense?"
He frowned his head hurt.
"No."
Little Mikey laughed.
"I know bro, I don't even know where that information came from either. I do know this, make a choice dude. Make it now. Left takes you to the family we lost, right takes you back to earth in the timeline we can change."
He thinks of going left it called out for him to do so, right only reminded him of pain and he does not like pain.
"Mikey, we love you."
He saw blue flash in his mind.
"Leo."
The name itself seemed to be special to him. Special to him because it reminded him about someone that he held close to, someone who was there to lead, to protect. He picked right. His green hand moved towards the wooden doorknob and turned the door opened flash of white light shinned over him. The next thing he knows he feels heavy, he groans in pain, his body is tensed, his body is demanding food.
He sees faces and Mikey remembered who he was.
"Papa," he said to Master Splinter.
"My son."
He is taken into a hug and on the other side of Master Splinter shoulder, three faces look at him with big grin.
"Who knew Raph yelling actually did something useful," Donnie said.
"Leo helped to," Raph added.
"I only said I love you. Which we do little brother."
He smiled as Leo rubs a hand on his forehead. He is happy he made the right choice.
Mikey finds himself in the dojo with his father. He knows his brothers are no doubt ears dropping outside behind the dojo door. It's been three months since Mikey had woken up and he wasn't allowed out at all and only had to eat soup for a couple of weeks because his stomach was unable to handle solid food for a while. He was slowly gaining his weight back and tomorrow will be the first day he was allowed to go back outside.
Which lead him to the dojo. Donnie had been reading all the books Mikey had found or stolen from different places. Most of them lead to one answer, bolted up emotions that finally decided to break due to a trigger point. The trigger point Mikey nightmares at least the family thought that was the answer. Mikey still wasn't going to tell them anytime soon about how he died and travel back in time because apparently his family in that timeline was like, nope not yet and forced him back in time. Due to reasons that nobody understands and don't tell Donnie this because his mind would blow due to overload of information. So, he kept to the time traveling information to himself.
The spirit of his mother and his father seemed to have the same idea, talk about his problems on a regular base. Every week, it could have been worst for Master Splinter and his brothers wanted him to speak about his said problems every day. Mikey didn't want that though and tossed a fit until they all managed to work out a time that suited the family and Mikey.
How do you feel my son? Tang Shen voice came through to Mikey in the form of a thought.
This is dumb. He thought bitterly.
Excuse me. She threatened.
I mean, I'm alright mum well aside from the normal nightmares. But I'm better than before.
"My son, how do you feel?" Master Splinter asked.
"I just told you," he said.
You told me not my love. Remember he may be able to sense me now, but he does not know you and I speak to one another.
Clearly Master Splinter didn't with the raise of a furry eyebrow.
"Imaginary friend," he heard Donnie said from behind the door.
I'm telling them.
I do not think that is wise my sunshine.
Tough, I'm telling them because my family thinks I'm more nuts than normal.
Imaginary friends are very normal for children.
And, what happens if I grow up mum and my brothers catch me talking to you out loud.
They will love you my child. You will be their little insane brother that they love and worry over for the rest of their days.
Mum.
All while Mikey was having dialogue with his own thoughts Master Splinter only saw him zoning out and grew more worried about his youngest son then he already was.
I am not going to be that one person that still has an imaginary friend by teen ages years. ADHD and PTSD, I can deal with, but I refused to allow my family to think that I have gone so far into the deep end. Because I speak to you when they have their back turns.
His mother didn't comment, Mikey took that as a sign that he had her permission.
"Hey dad, guess what. I speak to mum and when she talks to me it sounds like I'm thinking, but they're not my thoughts. So, yes, I'm hearing voices in my head, but it's cool because its mum and not some evil demon telling me to do bad things. More, like this person that tells me I'm grounded if I mess up." He said out loud with a smile on his face.
If Mikey had a pin and dropped it on the ground the sound that the pin made would be deafen because of the silence that followed. The dojo door itself opened a little and three brothers falls into the room, landing on top one another in shock.
"What?" Raph yelled furiously.
"Mum speaks to me by thoughts. Isn't that right mum?"
He waited for his mother to answer for some strange reason he was pretty sure she had face palm.
"I'm sorry Michelangelo could you explain."
So, Mikey did, sort of, kind of, well he lied a bit and told the truth a little. Basically, saying she started to show up when the nightmares happened and spoke to him and how she was always worried for him whenever he went topside. He had also explained that she was there a couple of times when he almost died and that is why he talked to himself out loud and he isn't as nuts as the family thought he was.
Master Splinter had believed him though because Splinter had been able to sense his wife energy around the lair for some time but had been unable to connect with her. Until recently when Mikey was in his dream state as Mikey started calling the latest events. Either way when the family went to bed that day, Master Splinter was able to see his wife through dreams and Leo, Raph and Donnie also got to know their adopted mother through the use of dreams. Raph won't admit it though, but he had asked her very quietly if she could help with Mikey and chase the bad dreams away from the youngest turtle.
She didn't tell him that she couldn't. Mikey and Tang Shen had both agree not to tell Splinter about Miwa where abouts. Fearing that if Splinter did something reckless it could possibly lead to Karai death and Mikey didn't want any more deaths.
He supposed he was going to run into him sooner or later. With the amount of times Mikey had been out of the lair he was going to run into Stickman anytime now. Wait, was it, Stickman? One of the turtles many foes and the only one Mikey could barely remember. He supposed running into the man was about to happen, this time though the man wasn't an adult like Stickman had been the first time but a teenage no doubt living in his parent's home and crying. Mikey blinked seven times.
This wasn't the man that Mikey knew someone that ended up working for the Shredder and turning into a mutant fly because of it. He was tempted to kill him Stickman would only become an issue later on in life.
Michelangelo, my son what are you thinking about? Tang Shen said.
End a battle before it started.
Your heart was never made for a warrior life my son, your brothers knew this. It is why they shelter you the way they did. Please, try and think of another way.
Another way, like what? He ends up working for Shredder.
Yes, in your timeline. But try and remember why, look at the boy in front of you now and tell me what you see.
Mikey frowned hiding in the shadows. He was going to be late if he didn't make a choice, it's been a while since he's been out ever since the dreaming state. Even Master Splinter had denial him of the chance of going topside again if Tang Shen hadn't promised him that she be around to try and talk Mikey out from doing anything that could get him hurt. His eyes soften when he remembered the cause of Stickman downfall.
They had started that fight Mikey even asked the question if he should just by him an ice cream. Speaking of ice creams. Mikey darted out of that place leaving a crying Stickman behind only because he knew a family that brought ice cream and always seemed to end up forgetting to eat it. Sneaking into that apartment he picked up a spoon, grab the ice cream and the cones and ran back to Stickman apartment.
Nobody else seemed to be home just the crying teen in his bedroom that seemed to be mumbling on how someone was bulling him. Dude, the guilt flooded over him and maybe if his younger self had decided to buy that ice cream and not listen to his older brothers Stickman would have ended up becoming one great ally. The man was just as smart as Donnie only unlike Donnie he didn't have many supporters.
"Hey."
Stickman eyes widen in shock.
"What are you?" he paused. "Holy cow, you're a turtle."
"You can call me Mikey though. I saw you crying so I thought ice cream might cheer you up."
"Why would you want to share ice cream with me?" He asked looking at the floor.
Mikey found it odd that Stickman didn't seem bother by the fact that he was a turtle more bother by the offer. Mikey supposed though if he was going to try and be nice to the teen than he might as will remember the man name.
"Because you look really sad and I know what's it's like to be sad and alone. And, I thought maybe we could be sad together with ice cream."
"Why would a kid be sad?" he asked.
"I've seen messed up things."
Very messed up things its why Mikey promised himself that he was going to change the timeline and one of them was offering a hand of friendship. Stickman? No, Stock. No, Stockman yeah that's right Baxter Stockman, Mikey was sure that was the name.
"I highly doubt that, you're not bulled or pick on and your dad doesn't hate you."
"No, but my nightmares keep me up all the time. And, I think I saw you in it."
"Really?"
"Yeah, but you were a bad guy working with other bad guys and you tried to kill me."
And his brothers, but Mikey didn't want to share that information just yet.
"I don't want to do that," Stockman said. "I don't want to be a bully like the bullies that are mean to me."
"Will you don't have to. We can be friends instead that sounds much better dude."
"Friends?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, friends. Want to eat some ice cream with me before it melts?"
"You really do don't you. You're not just going to hurt me?"
Nope, not this time Mikey was going to be the one to protect him if that what Stockman wanted. He was going to be there and support him Stockman hadn't reached that point yet in this timeline.
"Alright, I'll take that offer than."
"Cool dude, let's eat ice cream. By the way, I told you my name but I never got your name."
"Wouldn't matter everybody gets my name wrong or they just don't remember me." He said between sniffers.
"I can try and learn it."
"Nobody bothers to try before."
"I will, bro that's what friends are for."
"It's Baxter Stockman."
Baxter Stickman, not, Ben Stockman, not, Pan Stockman. Come on Mikey there no P in the name, he got it right before.
"Baxter Stockman, did I get it right?" he asked with a smile on his lips.
"Yeah, you really did."
"See dude, I told you. Let's have some ice cream Baxter."
They made ice cream cones and talked and Tang Shen whispered into Mikey mind.
I'll tell your father where you are my sunshine so he knows you will be running late today. I'm so proud of you.
Mikey just smiled telling Stockman that he knew how to do backflips and handstands and how he could teach Stockman if he wanted to. Look out world give Michelangelo a second chance at life than he's going to change a couple of things and he has high hopes for this change he had just made.
Note: I've noticed in the episode I think his name is Baxter Stockman, if the turtles hadn't reacted so reckless and Mikey really did end up buying that man an ice cream. There could have been a high possible chance of them gaining another alley. I'm going to assumed that Stockman had only just recently lost his job that week due to the fact that a person even said all because I fried you. Stockman was clearly bullied for most of his life and the turtles had been a tipping point. Especially when he noticed the power, he held in his hands from the turtle pod. Which is why one of the changes here is Mikey trying to be nice to him, yes, he had thought about killing him due to the future he had seen may have done so if it wasn't for his mother looking out for him.
