Disclaimer: If I owned TMNT, I would have actually … I don't know what I would have done because it turns out that I don't own TMNT. Ah well, I'll just watch it instead. 2012 version or 2003 version? (Tries to picks between the two to re-watch some episodes.)

Note: Ms. Dragon Reader would also recommend to bring something to eat and take small breaks reading this 16-page chapter. Review if you want, fav or follow and know this is most likely going to be update twice a week. I do not think short chapters will ever be a thing for this story unless I was taken by aliens. (Jokes)

He's not back here. He isn't this a dream all of it is just another nightmare playing over and over again in his head. He wanted to wake up he wanted to scream he wanted his brothers he didn't want to be alone anymore. Michelangelo knew the moment he went to bed after hanging out with his brothers on Mutation day he was going to have this nightmare again. A nightmare where had no control in trying to change it, but to just let it play back in his mind. He was running on gravel, gravel that used to be building of New York city, sure there were still a few, building standing tall, but most of it was just gravel. People had either moved out or left to live underground, nobody wanted to be on the surface anymore. The fear of being attack out of the blue and not seeing it coming was too great for the rest of the human population to handle.

Mikey had told himself that he was out here again to make sure no human that wasn't a Foot Clan ninja was out here. Sometimes a few humans ended up on the surface world either looking for a place to flee or to try and find food in what was left of city. Most of the time humans are attack by the Foot Clan, the ninjas come out of nowhere for them and soon their attack and killed. Crows after a fresh bit of meat, most are not shock to see a mutant anymore just fearful of seeing a ninja. Mikey tried his best to help them, just like how Raph and Donnie both had before they had been killed. Someone did, someone had to take charge and lead, his brothers never stayed long for a thank you though always leaving the moment that the turtles knew the human was safe. Mikey would do the same.

He needed to remember this was a dream, he yelled at his mind to not forget that this was a dream.

"Help!" Someone yelled and Mikey looked up to see a person on one of the remaining skyscrapers.

Don't go up this is a dream this has already happened before this is only a nightmare. Mikey mind tells him over and over again trying to ground the young turtle, trying to bring the turtle back to his senses trying to wake up. His body does not listen it moves as if his body is still back in that future, he climbs the building that feels unsafe underneath his feet no matter how light he tried to be. He isn't shock to find that there is no woman only three look alike Foot ninjas, he knows there is more of the Clan lurking around somewhere. Call him paranoid, but he can feel eyes watching his every move.

"Do you really want to get rid of me that easy?" Mikey asked. "Faking a woman cry for help just to get my attention. Where is your honour?"

"You will get know honour from me freak of nature," the ninja taunted. "Do not think this Clan does not know what you and your brothers did to the great and powerful, Master Shredder."

"Don't think you know what you're talking about kid," Mikey said. "You weren't even born when Shredder was alive. You lot just heard about this Clan and looking for an excuse just to go around in his name and do damage."

The ninja didn't bother to comment they never did after you pointed out the facts. They just grew in numbers a dozen more appeared around him, katana in their hands and nun-chucks in his. He tries his best to move out of the blade's way, but while he can doge at least half of them the other half gets to him. They tear meat of his bones with a simple slice he feels pain the moment they go deep into his plastron, there are too many to handle and just one of him. Mikey is strong, but he is not this strong. At some point during the fight he loses his nun-cucks but he is a student of Master Splinter and he will not give up a fight that easy.

He had lost his beloved weapons half way through this fight the moment his arms started to go numb from the blood loss. He will not make it through this battle, he kicked them aside and used his head to push them off the building. He will not give up. He will go out with glory and honour, but he will not give up. Mikey kicked and tried to fling his numb arms around sending the ninjas of the building one at a time. He can no longer hold his body weight and he is bleeding, no amount of help from anyone or him will be able to aid him this time. His body is too beaten up, to injure, some parts are numb and some he feels a strong sense of pain. He dropped to his knees it is just him and that ninja left.

"You shall die now freak."

Mikey felt the stab and he gasped in pain his eyes widen looking up only now he saw no ninja, but Xever himself.

Mikey gasped for air falling out of his bed as he done so. That was not right normally when he dreams of that fight he dies, the same way he did in his first timeline. Xever never shows up in his dream never, he finds it hard to breath. Why is he having trouble breathing? He was safe and he was at home he was in his room his brothers are alive their all sleeping. Right? Just breathe. Xever is somewhere of in New York doing who knows what but perfectly far away from anybody. Baxter sound asleep in his own apartment, everything is alright.

With weak legs Mikey helped himself up trying to breath as he moved around the lair. He checked Leo room his older brother was safe and mumbling about Caption Ryan, he checked Raph room and Raph was safe, alive and sleeping. Mikey was having a harder time breathing he was sure he was going to collapsed then and there in front of Raph room, but was able to stop himself. Next was Donnie, if he could make it to Donnie lab at all.

Just breathe. Just focus. He was sure he heard the spirit of his mother calling out to him trying to reach him, but he could barely see what was going on around him. Whether alone acknowledge that his mother energy was around him. So, he just keeps walking but he barely makes it. Breathing becomes too hard at this point and he collapsed right out the front of Donnie lab. Wishing that his older brother was alright, that he was safe, that he was alive and everything was okay.

"D-Donnie."

Donnie was busy, working in his lab when he could hear the faint call of his name. He shakes his head though because he's the only one awake.

"Don. D-Donnie … please, be alive."

Donnie felt his heart break a little. He knew that voice and turning around he rushed to his baby brother that was at his lab door, crying and struggling to breath.

"Mike. Mikey it's okay I'm here bro. Just focus on breathing. Mikey just breath with me, in out."

He would say this a couple of times before Mikey finally started to breathe properly again. Donnie hugged his brother closely afterwards, Mikey still sniffer. Why would Mikey think that Donnie was dead at all?

"I died Dee."

He flinched at the words looking down at his little brother that didn't seem to understand what he had just spoken.

"I died. I should have been dead by now."

"No, Mikey don't think that never think that."

"But I did Donnie. If you travel into the future you would see that for yourself. I was killed, but I wasn't killed by him though."

Donnie didn't understand what was going on before it clicked. Could it be possible Mikey was finally talking about his dreams? Mikey never talked about his dreams no matter how many sessions Master Splinter would do with Mikey to try and open up with Mikey emotions. Mikey just didn't spill the beans to anyone. Donnie got information about Mikey dreams before about a woman having a child and having it taken away from her. If this what he dreamt all night than no wonder his brother had a slightly unstable mind in that head of his.

"It's alright Mikey your safe," Donnie said. "You're not in that messed up future of yours Mikey you're here."

Dreams about a future where his baby brother was killed was a future Donnie didn't want to see.

"No." Mikey said with his arms crossed.

"Come on. Please?" Leo asked.

"I said no."

"Why not bro?" Raph asked. "Just this once."

"Because I said no." Mikey said again.

If one first met Mikey nobody would see the fact that he hardly slept at all. It's one of the things Donnie had respected. His baby brother is good at masking his own emotions from others, it's also one of the things that Donnie hates the most. It makes it hard to get anything from his brother, one wouldn't even be able to tell that Mikey had a panic attack last night because of a nightmare, or the fact that he had spoken to Donnie about the worst dream in the world. Before going to sleep in Donnie arms. Which scared the shell out of him when his little brother went numb. Only to find yes, Mikey was alive he's just sleeping not dead.

"But we're old enough," Leo said.

"I don't get it why do we even come to you to ask permission for this. We're your older brothers I say we go up there right now and see topside for ourselves again, if you won't take us," Raph said stubbornly.

Mikey normally would be happy to take them topside. Donnie knows his baby brother had been begging Splinter for years to allow them to see the outside world. Either he was hiding something, up to something or both. Raph was about to leave only to be pulled back by Mikey hand as the youngest of the family dragged his second oldest brother by the shell and dragging him back to the living room. Leo and Donnie followed.

It was odd and sure some people might raise an eyebrow on why the three of them would even ask the youngest permission for anything, but Donnie hated to admit it, but his baby brother had always been seen as the leader. Long before Splinter had given the title. Mikey nightmare caused sleep problems that was true, but Mikey nightmares also caused him to be a lot more serious than the three of them combine. Sometimes Mikey can laugh and joke and be downright annoying, but most of the time Mikey was the turtle to go to if a problem had a rose. It was as if Mikey had lived through this before.

"Come on," Raph said. "How come you won't let us out now. We have permission to go topside, Splinter even gave us his blessing."

"Raph makes a point Mikey," Leo said.

Mikey was glaring at both of them it caused all three of his brothers to shiver with fear.

"You are not going out. Not today, tomorrow yes but not today."

"How come? You got something to do." Donnie said he frowned. "You're not going to get hurt, are you? Mikey."

Mikey was already gone. Donnie wonder when his brother had left because he didn't even see the youngest move and yet the orange mask turtle was no-where in sight. A reminded to all three of them that matching up to Mikey skills was almost impossible.

"You know what I'm out of here."

"Raph, Mikey said."

"Seriously Leo, you're listening to him?" Raph asked. "He's our baby brother. Since when do older brothers listen to the youngest of the family?"

Donnie was the second youngest granted Leo and Raph didn't listen to him. Unless Mikey was behind him basically telling his brothers to play nice or else. If looks could kill Mikey glare would have killed all three of them by now at some point.

"Since our father gave him the job of being leader."

"Since our father gave him the job of being leader," Raph mocked Leo voice. "Will he's not, doing a very good job at leading us. When he ditched up to go to shell knows where. I on the other hand am no longer waiting down here."

"Raph, what happens if Mikey comes back and find us gone." Leo protested as he watched Raph walk out of the lair.

"Will maybe he should have stayed and be the leader like he's meant to."

Off course both Leo and Donnie followed after Raph. Not because they understood where Raph was coming from and actually wanted to go topside at all, no off course. (Yes, mainly.) Also, because both brothers knew what Raph could be like and it was better to go as threes than let one of their own wonder about and possibly get hurt or worst. Beside if Mikey asked where they had been, they could all just blame it on Raph since it was the red mask turtle idea.

Xever waited.

He didn't wait for Mikey though he had already spoken to the turtle and both had come up with a plan to deal with the Foot ninjas that wanted to kill Xever for turning on their beloved Master. So, now Xever waited for one of them to turn up and try to kill him on behalf of that said Master, while Mikey was somewhere in the shadows. At least Xever sort of hope Mikey was somewhere in the shadows because damn the kid was good at hiding.

"Xever."

He turned his head on the voice he was a man dressed in a suit covering up his face.

"Are you the Shredder?" he asked.

"No, I am not Master Shredder just one of his most trusted. Master Shredder had been annoyed by you Xever. You had been hard to find with all the dead ends you leaded us to."

Xever grinned keeping the secret that it was indeed Mikey idea to do so. Mikey only ended up pranking them once they thought they had found Xever himself.

"You've been working with someone else to," the ninja said.

"Oh, what gave it away?"

The man tossed down the trash of an orange balloon on the ground.

"Water balloons are not your style. Didn't think you would rope a kid in either."

He shrugged his shoulders in different, Xever didn't care who you were as long as you got the job done and Mikey got the job done, mutant turtle or not.

"I think even the Foot would be shock to find someone that matches them in their ninja ways. The kid knows the streets pretty well and sent you all running like headless chickens. Been pretty fun to watch."

Stickman had been able to get video footage allowing Xever in a safe spot to watch his want to be killers running around New York. He can see why Shredder wanted him on their side, most of the ninjas had no clue where they were going. They clearly needed someone to help them around in New York streets. Who better to ask then a street rat like him?

"Master Shredder is still giving you a choice. You can either work with us or end up back in that jail you came from."

Xever waited and he saw something move fast in front of him, lifting off the helmet and jumping between him and the ninja.

"Mikey wonder where you would show up," he mocked.

Mikey stood in front of him twirling the helmet around on one finger.

"Chris Bradford," the turtle said looking at the ninja. "Who would have thought someone like you with your statues would be working with the Foot clan."

"Isn't he that martial arts celebrity?" Xever asked, remembering seeing the man from somewhere.

"Yep, owns a chain of dojos. He's not meant to be in the city let until next week," Mikey said.

"What are you?" Chris asked looking at Mikey.

"Dude, it's pretty clear I'm a mutant turtle and you see this guy," he said pointing to Xever. "He's under my protection and I would very much like it if you don't give him death threats."

"As if a freak like you could do anything to stop me."

Mikey shakes his head pulling out his nun-chucks and dropping the helmet on the ground.

"If only your Foot listened. It would stop so much unnecessary drama."

The turtle seemed to be talking from experience, but as far as Xever knew it sounded like the Foot didn't even know about a mutant turtle running around in the city.

"I don't have time to fight a brat. Step aside freak this battle has nothing to do with you."

Kusarigama blade popped out slicing the helmet in two.

"Mum not going to like it," the turtle said. "She never does when I kill, but I'm willing to get rid of you permanently. You cause a lot more trouble in the future Chris and I know now, that you are far too loyal with Shredder to ever change your mind."

"What are you on about freak?" Bradford asked.

Mikey didn't answer though the next thing Xever knew is that Mikey had attack. Chris moved out of the way, but the turtle would just swing his weapons left to right. Xever wonder if there was something, he could do about it.

Chris had always been a challenge for Mikey in his old timeline.

In that timeline his brothers often tried to protect Mikey from Shredder henchmen, but his older brothers weren't here this time to do the dirty work. So, Mikey had to put in the effect, but no matter what he did Chris just seemed to move out of the way before he ended up catching his nun-chuck in mid-air. His eyes widen at the grin on Chris face before Mikey found himself spinning rapidly and flung upwards to a skyscraper of all places and landing harshly on the wall. Maybe he won't kill Chris just let, only because it was clear to Mikey that he wasn't strong enough to handle the soon to be dog mutant.

He noticed something about this building he remembered it before, because of the green house that was on it. Jumping down and walking into the green house he smiled at the bee's nest. Hey, ninjas have to be creative sometimes to get the job done.

Mikey pluck it ignoring the small stings of the bee's that saw him as a threat to their Queen. As Mikey ran back down using the fire escape on the side of the building and running back to that alleyway, just in time to. He saw Xever being trapped and Chris ready to deliver the following blow. Running up to the man Mikey placed toe bee hive on Chris head. The human screamed at the sudden pain, but Mikey forgot to see that the man was about to fall on top of him. Xever saw though and pushed Mikey out of the way as Chris landed on the ground, the hive snapping in two. With honey on his face and a bunch of bee stings, Chris went screaming running away from the two and a bunch of furious bee's chasing after him. Mikey found himself laughing at the sight.

"Dude thanks for the save," he said standing back up on his own two feet.

"No prob kid. The least I could do for the protection. I'll admit didn't think you were coming back after he flung you so high," Xever said.

"I don't give up that easy dude."

Then something dawned on Mikey.

"Man, my brothers."

"Brothers?" Xever asked. "Alright you did say you had a clan. What about them?"

"It was going to be there first day going topside, but I had told them no because I wanted to deal with this and not worry about them during the fight."

"And, your worried about them because?"

"Because they've been trapped underground for most of their lives and by the time, they got dad blessing I was pretty much a downer, saying no to them."

"I see and you think there running all over the place."

Mikey rolled his eyes.

"I know there running all over the place."

Mikey made sure he still had his nun-chucks with him.

"Can I meet them?" Xever asked.

"I thought you wanted to go back and do what you did before?"

"Eh, still do but now I just want to see what Mikey big brothers are really like for myself."

Mikey smiled.

"Sure dude."

Mikey dashed ahead and Xever followed suit. Mikey still didn't trust Xever, but he was willing to work with the man. No matter what his dreams told him.

"You don't just scare a pizza guy to give us pizza." Donnie said to Raph who was currently holding that said pizza.

"What I'm hungry," Raph said.

They stood on the roof top it's not the first time since the three of them ate pizza. Baxter normally brought some over whenever he was running late from work and Mikey had stolen some back when he was a tot to give them a try on what the new food was like. They've been out for a good two hours now, no sign of Mikey at all before Raph decided to scared a poor pizza boy and steal his pizza in the process. Raph opened the box and the beloved smell was there, Donnie was still frowning at Raph in disapprover.

"How about this we eat first and then we go back home," Leo said.

"Or, we can spend more time topside," Raph said.

"Raph don't forget that Mikey doesn't know where we are. He could be worried about us or worst waiting for us."

"Please, he won't do anything just beat our shells in tomorrow training."

Raph was about to pick up a slice before the three of them noticed the box was gone right under their eyes. They blinked, looked at one another, looked at the place where the pizza had last been and looked at one another again. The pizza was gone. Only they noticed something will someone, Mikey standing there with the box in his hand and handling a slice to a human that wasn't Baxter before eating his own slice.

"I was gone for two hours and you guys couldn't even stay in the lair for that long," Mikey said in between bites.

"To be fair it was Leo fault," Raph blamed.

"Hey. It was your idea." Leo protested.

"Yeah, but you're the oldest and you didn't stop us. There for it's your fault."

Leo sulked Mikey tossed a pizza slice right in Raph face. It dropped on the ground shortly after leaving Raph cover in cheese and source.

"Raph don't blame Leo."

Mikey walked up to Leo and allowed his older brother to take a slice before walking up to Donnie. Donnie happily picked one.

"At least I don't bring humans to meet us, who is he anyway?"

"I'm Xever," the human said. "Your brother just did me a big favour."

"Favour?" Donnie asked.

Raph used his hand to remove the food from his face.

"Yes." Xever answered.

"You're not causing trouble are you Mikey?" Leo asked.

"Off course not," Mikey lied. Before finally allowing Raph to have a slice that wasn't tossed in his face. "I would never do such a thing Ni-san."

Leo, Raph and Donnie didn't know what Mikey did most of the time but they knew for a fact that their little brother had just lied to them to their face. They turned to Xever looking for answers that he might be willing to give.

"Don't look at me. I just know he going around and stealing rope."

"Stealing rope?" Donnie asked. "I thought Splinter said that you don't need to steal. And, why would you steal rope?"

"Um," Mikey said looking for answer.

"So, he could tie me up and threaten to kill me," Xever ratted Mikey out.

"Dude."

"What? You said I'm not allowed to mess with your Clan, you didn't say I couldn't tell them the truth."

Donnie couldn't tell if Xever was just teasing Mikey or not, but Donnie did see the water balloon that was tossed right at Xever soaking his hair and shirt in water.

"Really?"

"It's not like I said I couldn't prank you either," Mike said turning the tables on Xever.

Donnie wished Mikey didn't make strange and questionable friends. Maybe he was being judgment but he always thought that the people Mikey often brought home would have ended up working for another ninja group. Which was silly because as far as Donnie knew there weren't any ninjas in New York, but them.

Karai wouldn't admit it but she found the sight amusing Chris Bradford her father student had just come back from a failed mission and cover in bee stings all over his face, as he kneed in front of Master Shredder.

"I had trained you better Bradford. Killing a street rat should have been a problem for one of my students," Master Shredder was not at all pleased.

"Forgive me Master Shredder but Xever seems to have protection."

"Protection, with what? That street gang of his. I highly doubt they would cause any trouble for a student of mine."

"No, Master Shredder it was a freak of nature. The thing shouldn't even be alive whether alone possible. It was a turtle."

A pause, nobody spoke most didn't even think they heard the Shredder student right at all.

"A turtle? You had been beaten by a turtle."

Karai had an idea, but that itself seemed impossible. Mikey was just a dream. He wasn't real he was just someone she could go to and talk about things that bother her here. He normally had answers that she was looking for.

Apparently, I have brothers to.

Is it possible that Mikey was real and not a dream at all?

"Does this turtle stand on two legs?" she asked.

"Yes."

"Karai what do you know about this turtle?" Shredder asked.

She knew a bit that he had a mother that looked a little like her, that he had brothers at a time in their younger years he had seemed to be forgetting who he was. She still talked to him in her dreams though, but he didn't really tell her much about himself.

"Not much, but it could be possible father." She said the first time in her life she had lied to her father.

"It is," Bradford said. "He's a fighter to Master Shredder. His skills could use some work, but he knows how to put up a fight and he does not back down. I was sure the throw killed him. Until he jumped out from nowhere with a bee hives of all things. I believe he is the reason why the Foot Clan had trouble in finding Xever."

"Explain." Master Shredder ordered.

"He said Xever was under his protection Master."

"Do you think there is more of these freaks?"

"I do not know Master Shredder, but if they all know ninjutsu than it could lead to complication."

"Yes, it will," Master Shredder agree.

Michelangelo is it possible that you are real? She thought and if he was, she would have trouble because she did not want to fight the turtle she had started to see as her own little brother. Especially, knowing that there is a high possible chance that he is more than just something her mind had made up.

It's been a day since the team had met Xever and while Xever didn't know where they lived, he seemed to be around them whenever they were on night patrol, alongside Baxter that joined them as well.

"Why are we working with him?" Xever asked looking at Baxter.

"Hey, I knew them first," Baxter pointed out.

"I bet a nerd like you couldn't even throw a punch to save your life."

Baxter knew the basic of self-defence since Master Splinter was slowly warning up to the man even if there were still some trusted issues between the pair.

"I could beat you any day."

The two of them we're so closed to one another that if they went closer, they would knock themselves out, just by a head bang.

"I highly doubt it Stickman."

"It's Stockman."

Leo moved out of the way the moment Stockman had thrown the first punch and the pair was tackling one another on the ground.

"Mikey your friends are weird," he said standing beside his baby brother.

"Why is Xever even here?" Raph asked. "I thought you said he could do whatever he wants."

"He can," Mikey said. "He's just staying here don't know why though."

Baxter and Xever we're still fighting like two school girls as the four turtles watched them from a distance.

"Should we do something?" Leo asked.

"I say let them punch one another out and ditch them," Raph said.

"Mikey you haven't told us what the favour was yet?" Donnie asked.

Donnie made a point, Xever said that he owned Mikey a favour. Yet, nobody knew what it was and not even father had known about Xever just yet, Mikey did promise the turtles that he would tell Splinter about the male human later.

"Is it just me or is that van going fast?" Donnie asked pointing to a van that was heading on the road way too fast to be legal.

"This seems familiar," Mikey mutter rubbing his chin.

"How so?" Leo asked.

"Don't know, something about suits."

Leo looked at his brothers to see if anybody else understood what was on Mikey mind. Knowing the three of them nobody would know but Mikey himself.

"Should we follow it?" Raph asked.

The van was heading towards what Leo assumed was father and daughter. Donnie took notice.

"She's the most beautiful girl I have ever seen," Donnie said in awe.

"She's the only girl you've ever seen," Raph reminded him.

Mikey was keeping an eye on Baxter and Xever making sure the pair hadn't killed one another while the turtle shell was turned.

"Alright, we get the pair out of the way because that van doesn't seem to be stopping," Mikey order.

The three brothers nodded their head and off they went, Mikey pulled Xever and Baxter apart.

"Get along with one another or get out. And, Baxter keep up."

Mikey was off following after his brothers that were running alongside the van on the rooftop. Xever and Baxter followed suit.

"What's the plan Mike?" Xever asked.

"Protect those two, the van doesn't seem to be stopping."

The van did stop the group stop as will watching and waiting as men in suits appeared.

"I swear I've been here before," Mikey said to himself.

"Not cool those guys have guns, big ones at that," Xever said.

Pointing out that yes, the men in suits did have guns and heading towards the pair that had noticed the strange men.

The men in suits surrounded the pair and the next thing they know the man was taken as the girl was forced to stay put by one of them.

"Hey, let me go. Help. Dad."

"Alright stop those men save the people," Mikey said.

"Mikey are you nuts. Master Splinter said we shouldn't be seen by humans," Leo protested.

"Leo. People are being taken if you don't want to fight you can stand here, but I'm going down. Come on."

Mikey jumped down, Xever, Donnie and Raph following the youngest lead. Master Splinter had warned them not to be seen by humans it was one of their rules to keep the family safe. He noticed Baxter hadn't moved he smiled nervously.

"I'm not really a fighter," Baxter admitted.

Leo knew he wasn't he tended to build machines than fight. Not wanting to leave his siblings to do all the work Leo jumped into action.

"Protect the humans," Mikey called out.

Mikey was swinging both of his nun-chucks.

"Where have we seen each other before?" Mikey asked looking at the man. "Did I beat you up somewhere?"

Leo isn't too sure if he wanted to know what Mikey was thinking. Doing as he was told Leo pulled out his katana, both out and ready to face the strange men in suits.

"Who are you?" Mikey asked again. He waved his hand to tell them not to share any information. "Nope, don't say it dude it will come to mind."

He should be helping his brothers and friends to try and fight off the men, but they seemed to be holding up the battle.

"Kraang, these creatures are not the Kraang recognize as the ones called humans," one said.

"Kraang, these creatures have seen Kraang."

"Then Kraang must take what is called action."

Raph had gone a shade of red and a tic appeared on his head Mikey seemed indifferent to his brother anger.

"Shut!"

"Dude no fun," Mikey said cutting of the red mask turtle. "I wanted to remember my self who you are. There's no need to tell me."

"Seriously that's the problem here!" Raph yelled.

"Will yeah dude. Now, where was I?" Mikey asked.

He really wanted to say his old catch parse again. He hadn't said that word in ages and the Kraang reminded him trigging some old memories popping up in his mind, another thing the Kraang did was reminded Mikey about this. A punch in the alien gut sending the man in the suit backwards as Mikey felt the soft inside of the creature known as the Kraang he pulled out the pink brain causing the robot to fall flat on the ground like a broken machine.

"That is not natural," Xever said looking at the pink brain in front of him.

"Gross," the red head said that Mikey had known as April.

"Yep. I can see why you wear the suits," he taunted swinging the Kraang around like it was his nun-chuck by the end of their tentacles.

The Kraang took a step back as they watched their own being used as a weapon. Mikey grinned before taking his full attention on them leading his brothers into actions while using the Kraang head as a weapon and destroying each and every one of them.

"Kraang will need to do what is called withdrawn. These creatures seem to know what Kraang are."

"Yes, Kraang is corrected we also need to take what is called humans with us."

"Let me go," April said. Once she saw her father being taken away Mr. O'Neil struggle in the Kraang hold before Mikey himself was came crashing through knocking them aside with one of their own. Mikey picked up Mr. O'Neil and jumped upwards on to the skyscrapers where Baxter was before leaping back down.

"Hi, the name Baxter Stockman not Stickman," Baxter said to the fellow human.

"Your human, aren't you?" Mr. O'Neil questioned.

"Yep." Baxter answered. "You had been just saved by mutant turtles, their also ninjas. Excepted for Xever he's human. Want to hear a story?"

Mr. O'Neil didn't speak he just stood, with wide eyes his face slightly pale as Baxter rambled on about how it was possible for mutant turtles to be.

April panicked the moment the aliens started to move her into the van at least her father was safe, but now she feared for her own life. She kicked and scream and did her best to push them off, but their grip was strong and the strange turtles seemed to be busy. She found the Kraang being pushed aside by someone that at least looked human.

"Thank you," she said to the man.

"No prob kid, the name Xever by the way. I think I just need to get you to safety. Yo, Mike!" he yelled to the turtle in orange. "The girl safe."

He picked her up off the ground and the turtle in orange gave the group the signal to leave. Smoke bombs had been thrown to the ground filling the air with smoke and April alongside her father found themselves hiding in the shadows with two humans and four turtles. The orange turtle had his hands covering their mouths as the group looked down below. Watching the Kraang looking baffled, after the smoke had faded away before hoping into the van and speeding off into the direction. The orange turtle removed his hands from their mouth and April wanted to scream because she had never seen such a thing as four mutant turtles.

"I don't know what you are," her father said. "But you saved my life and my daughter."

"Hmm," the orange turtle said looking at her father strangely. "Something seems different."

While Mikey kept looking at the two O'Neil's as if they had been life biggest mystery, Mr. O'Neill continue.

"We are in your debt, you saved us.

"We we're only passing through," the blue masked turtle said. "We weren't even meant to be seen."

"I think it's a good thing," the man that wasn't Xever said. "You guys saved a pair that could have been taken by aliens. Wait, there was aliens. Real aliens, with pink brains where the one that you had with you Mikey?"

"The one I pulled out at the start?" the orange masked turtle asked which April had learned was Mikey.

"Yes, I could research it."

Mikey whistled and the man looked down on the ground to noticed nothing was there.

"I may have tossed it into their van at some point."

"Why? That was alien life Mikey. Real alien life and you gave it back to them."

"Dude Baxter your panicking over nothing."

"I had the biggest find in the world. I could be famous for finding alien life and you gave it back to them."

"Um, I'm April," she pointed out. Not wanting the pair to fight over some sort of pink brain.

"And, you can call me Mr. O'Neil," her father said.

"Wait you guys aren't freak out by us?" the one in blue asked.

"Kind of," her father said. "But we did just get attack by possible alien life and saved by lizards?"

"Turtles," the red mask turtle said. "We are turtles."

"I've learned he has anger issues," Xever whispered into April ear.

"We did just save their lives guys they kind of have to be nice," the purple one said before looking at her. She was sure he had hearts in his eyes. "By the way I'm Donnie, full name Donatello, but most just call me Donnie or Don. And, you have really nice hair."

April just laughed politely. She learned the blue one was Leo, the red one was Raph, the human was Xever that saved her life, and the one still talking to the orange one was Baxter Stickman she thinks, she isn't sure if she got his name right and the last one was Mikey.

"Stop freaking out about alien life dude."

"No! Mikey that was proof there is life beside us. Do you know how long people have asked that question?"

"What are we than slice pizza?"

"Should we stop those two?" April asked Leo.

"Mikey could have stop Baxter from fighting with him ages ago. Just let it go he might actually sleep tonight."

"Which is a good thing," Donnie added.

April frowned at the comment but didn't want to say too much that might cause the turtles to walk away from her. She wonders if her father will allow her to keep contact with them, they seemed like a nice bunch and April didn't have too many friends.

Mikey was dreaming but it was a nice dream for a change because Karai was there with him. They walked along a river in the dream Karai lead the way as Mikey told her about meeting a new person. He didn't share names rather keeping April hidden for a while much like he didn't talk about his brothers as openly with her. He was happy that Mr. O'Neil was willing to work with than Splinter ended up being told about Xever and the O'Neil. Mikey still didn't trust Xever though, but he was willing to work with the man for a while.

"And, then he saved her. Pretty cool, huh sis."

He noticed Karai had not replied as they kept walking forward.

"Sis?"

"Michelangelo are you real?" she asked he frowned.

"Yeah, Nee-san I'm real."

"Physically real. I know we are dreaming and we have been able to talk to one another through our dreams since we we're six. But are you real and do you really live on the Earth itself?"

"Nee-san what's with all the questions and yes, I do. I'm real. I always thought you weren't though."

Mikey didn't like to lie, but he reminded himself that this was for her safety. He feared if the Shredder knew that she knew about her true past he might kill her. He didn't want that.

"I'm real Michelangelo. Do you think it's possible that we could actually meet?"

Mikey wanted to. He wanted to see his older sister again he wanted her away from the Shredder, but the cost was too high.

"If you want to. But why you asking?"

"My father is looking for someone that is helping a street rat by the name of Xever. One of the hitch men said he looked like a turtle. I have never told my father about our friendship because my father would have said it was childless to think of such a thing."

"Oh, you're not going to tell him, are you?"

"Truthful I do not know."

Mikey thought about it.

"You know Nee-San if it comes down to it and we battle one day. I think I might let you win."

"What?" she looked furious at the mere offer. "I would have to kill you because of it. My father wants the person dead before they become trouble."

"Yeah, and that's why I would let you do it. To protect you Nee- san."

"What about your brothers? They will not at all be pleased with me if word reaches them."

Mikey knows his brothers would have to go through his pain like he did after losing all three of them, but Karai could be at risk.

"I look at it like this Nee-san. I will put up one shell of a fight if I have to fight you, but I think I might just let you win if the time ever comes that way to keep you safe. My brothers will be sad don't get me wrong and maybe they won't understand but if anyone needed to die this time around. I would rather it be me."

"You are a strange one Michelangelo," she told him. He flashed a smile.

"What would you do than Nee-San if we fought? I don't want to fight you and I don't think I could bring myself to kill you either."

"I do not know. I must be loyal to my father."

The pair of them didn't speak afterwards both not wanting to talk about the matter anymore. Mikey knew his choice though if he had to fight her, he would put up a shell of a fight to protect the people he said he would and protect his brothers. However, if there was a risk where Shredder might put her in harm way because she failed a mission in killing him. Mikey would happily take a blade again even if it means he won't come around a third time. Beside Mikey soul needed rest and the timeline had already been changed his brothers could finish the fight with the Foot and do a ten times better job than he ever could.

Note: Like the change? Mikey memory of the Kraang is a little fussy. I tend to read a lot of reborn OC fic's where the main character seems to know everything about the plot and when it well happened and how it will. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the idea and I do love the context of it, but realistic we won't remember everything. Which is where Mikey comes in with his timeline the Kraang invasion happened years ago to him, it was just something that he and his brothers had to deal with during their teenage years. Mikey main issues is the Foot Clan since they are what destroy most of New York city wasn't aliens, but people instead. The Foot clan is what Mikey remembered the most because it's the most recent in his mind.

He does remember a bit about the Kraang which will be shown in later chapters, but the first meeting with them wasn't something he at all remembered since to him in his mind it happened way back when. I mean I don't know about you, but I can't remember what happened three weeks ago and yet I can remember tripping over my own two feet taking the dog for a walk, when I was 11 because my dog had stop to look at me and see if I was alright. I look forward into writing the next chapter because it's going to show a little with Tang Shen and her children along with April. It's not going to be based on an episode, just a little family fluff and a session between Mike and Mr. O'Neil.
