Chapter summary: Michelangelo breaks.
Michelangelo wasn't feeling well when he arrived to Hun meet up place.
He felt warm and sweaty which was odd, but he kept on walking determined to get there determined to change the future. Purple Dragons weren't much of a threat and weren't even in the bigger picture, but he supposed they deserve a chance.
Baxer got his and so did Xever and with that Mikey jumped on top of the roof top nunchucks out, Donnie and Baxter stayed to the side along with the Purple Dragons.
He can do this, thinks Mikey.
This wasn't Shredder this was Hun. He could handle Hun.
He could.
He felt dizzy.
"Something not right with him. He looks sick," a worried Donnie said.
He was fine. Just fine.
A flashback occurred.
He was older. Snap, he's back in reality.
"Hun! Are you coming out or what?" demanded Mikey.
Hun jumped onto the rooftop walking towards him.
"So, you're the freak causing trouble around town," said Hun.
"The name Michelangelo. We had a deal. The winner is the leader of the Purple Dragons. Got it."
"Fine by me."
Hun crackled his knuckles.
"I think you're right Donnie. He looks almost ready to fall over," said Baxter.
Another flashback occurs. It isn't just any flashback, it's how he dies.
Hun moves in for the punch and he ducks it but he blinks frantically trying to get the flashback out of his mind. It plays in his head. He's surrounded by Foot.
He grunts and goes to wrack Hun over the head, but Hun ducks.
The flashback of himself is stabbed in the chest, but his older-self still fights on still keeps pushing on, killing at least a dozen before another blade comes stabbing into him.
Hun is able to punch him in the gut he groans as he's pushed back, but he goes to weak him over the head again. However, he's dizzy and his attack miss allowing Hun to punch him again this time he lands on the ground. He's punched in the jaw and then kicked. He hears both Donnie and Baxter calling out to him and than darkness takes over him.
He's back in the future. He watches his family get killed one by one. First his father and last is Donnie and then he's fighting again. The Foot have him surrounded. He knows it will be his last battle, but he will gladly take out as many as possible and he does. He kills a dozen before the first blade stabs him. He kills a dozen more before the second blade stabs him. He kills another dozen before the third blade stabs him and by the time he stops he has three blades in him. He's coughing up blood and his neck is met with a sword.
"This is your last stand freak."
"I know," he smiles and then his head is chopped off.
He wakes up.
He does not know where he is, but he notices that he is younger, he isn't a tot he's a teen, but it does not stop him from screaming.
"Mikey."
The lab door opens and his family bursts in with Baxter following after them.
"Mikey calm down everything alright your safe, your here," said Donnie.
"Don't touch me."
He pushes Donnie hand back and almost falls out of the cot, but Splinter catches him before he does.
"Get away from me. Get away, you're not them, you're not them."
It wasn't his family. Not the family he grew up with.
Oh, my Sunshine.
"Mikey, it's okay," said Baxter.
"Get away from me you mutant fly."
He wanted out.
No, he needed out. He needed to get away from these imposters.
My Sunshine they are still your family.
"Shut up," he yells the imposter turtles flinch.
And, then he feels someone wrapping their arms around him. It's Donnie.
"You're not there. You're here and you're safe," he whispers. "I know we aren't them, but please Mikey give us a chance."
It wasn't his Donnie.
He wanted his Donnie.
He wanted his big brother. B-team forever, right? Right?
Give him a chance.
Odd, it didn't sound like his mother at all. It almost sounded like Donnie, but that was impossible. It does not stop him from sobbing.
"What the shell was that?" Raph yelled furiously as Mikey falls asleep in Donnie arms.
"A panic attack by the looks of it," said Baxter. "A rather violet one."
"Donatello I would like to know the truth where were you and your brother?" Splinter asked.
"Um, Mikey has been dealing with street gangs."
"Street gangs," said Leo in shock. He turned to frown at Baxter. "And, you knew about this."
"Hey, it wasn't like that. I tried to talk sense into him. But you know Big M once he gets an idea in his head there's no talking him out of it."
"And, what was he doing with this street gang?" asked Splinter.
"He's been trying to get a gang to join his side, but he lost the battle and the guys went with their new boss in a heartbeat."
"That doesn't explain his reaction just then," yelled Raph.
"This is why he needs help Raph. He has serious PTSD," said Donnie.
The two glare at one another and Splinter cane bang hard onto the ground gaining the turtles attention.
"Enough of this. Fighting will get us nowhere for now we claim down and allow Michelangelo to rest. Baxter as for you I suggest you go home."
"Of course, Master Splinter." Baxter bows his head and walks out of the room giving Mikey one more glance before leaving completely.
