Chapitre 1 : Not-So-Happy Campers
Welcome to my first chapter I hope you like it
"Yo we are coming to you live from Camp Wawanakwa, somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario!" A thirty-something man said to the camera. He had wavy black hair, bright eyes and was dressed as a camp counselor. "I'm your host, Chris McLean! I'm dropping season one of the hottest new reality show on television right now!" Chris was walking along a pier, still talking to the camera.
"Here's the story: twenty-two teenagers have signed up to spend eight weeks at this crappy old summer camp. They will compete in challenges, then face the judgment of their fellow campers. Every two days or so, one team will win a prize while the other will see one of its members walk down the dock of shame, take a ride on the losers' boat, then leave Total Drama Island for good!"
The scene shifted to show Chris at a campfire.
"Their fate will be decided here, at the dramatic campfire ceremony, where every third day all but one camper will receive a marshmallow." Chris grabbed a stick with an unroasted marshmallow stuck in the end and ate the sweet treat. "In the end, only one will be left standing and rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame and a small fortune that, let's face it, they'll probably blow in a week. To survive, they'll have to fight black flies, grizzly bears, disgusting camp food and each other. Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras located throughout the camp and island. "The scene then returned to Chris on the dock.
"Who will collapse under the pressure? Who will go all the way? Find out here, right now, on TOTAL... DRAMA... ISLAND!
After the theme song plays, we see Chris back on the dock.
"Welcome to Total Drama Island! It's time to meet our campers! We told them all that they would be staying at a five star resort. So, if any of them seem a little upset, that would probably be why ." Chris told the audience with a mischievous smile.
The first boat arrived near the Dock of Shame and dropped off a very pretty girl with black hair. She was quite small and wore black legging and a beige sweater with a purple stripe.
"Hi Chris, I'm so happy to be here, tell me where the fancy hotel is that you promised us," Sky said,
"You're going to laugh, but there's no hotel and you're going to sleep in shacks.
Sky looked off and headed for the end of the Dock of Shame.
The next boat arrived and dropped off a very tall girl in an Australian hat. She wore an explorer's outfit
"Hi Jasmine, how are you?" said Chris in a friendly tone.
"Hi Chris, you are shorter in life than you are on TV" said Jasmine.
"Say, this island looks a lot like my island in Australia" said Jasmine.
"Good news for you, this is where you're going to live for the next 8 weeks," said Chris
She walk to the end of the Dock of shame and said hello to Sky.
As the next boat appeared on the horizon, loud, patriotic music was heard. As it drew closer, the campers saw the next one: a tall, well-built boy with a unibrow and black crewcut. He was wearing a green shirt, blue shorts, military boots and dog tags. When the boat reached the dock, he jumped out and ran toward Chris.
"Private Brick MacArthur reporting for duty, sir!" He stood at attention and saluted.
"At ease, soldier." said Chris, chuckling. "This isn't the military. This is reality TV. Speaking of which, you're not supposed to use your last name on the show. That's for your personal life."
"Right. My mistake." said Brick in a low, harsh but friendly voice. "Thanks for the opportunity all the same!" Brick walked over to the other campers. "Have a great day, fellow cadets! I look forward to competing and getting to know each of you!
The next boat arrived near the Dock of Shame and a guy dressed as a wizard
"Hi Leonard, how are you" said Chris
"Hi Chris, glad to see my wizarding skills being recognized," said Leonard.
you're going to laugh you're not here because of your wizarding skills, you're here because you were the last choice" laughed Chris.
It doesn't matter as long as I'm here, I'm fine with it" said Leonard as he headed to the end of Shome Dock.
The next boat arrived with another candidate and he got off the boat. A small boy with brown skin. He was wearing a blue sweater and brown pants. His hair was short and black
"Hi Chris says you got the note from my doctor saying all my allergies.
"Yeah sure Dave" said Chris.
It's not supposed to be a luxury hotel," says Dave.
"That's right soldier, you're disappointed" says Brick
"No" says Dave with a very forced smile and rubs his arms nervously.
Dave approached the other candidates and found Leonard very strange
Another boat dropped off another candidate, he was tall and very muscular. Il était bruin. He was brown. He was wearing a green sweater with D written on it and shorts
"Hi Dj" said Chris
"Chris Mclean! How are you doing" said Dj and gave Chris a "have five".
"And are you sure this is your show? Where's the Spa" said Dj
"No, my brother, this is the right address: Wawanakwa camp" said Chris
"On the registration form, it looked cooler" a said Dj
The next boat arrived and dropped off the next applicant near the Dock of Shame. A boy who wore a white swite and blue jeans. He had short horses, he was quite tall, 1m80 and he had black hair. He had brown skin
"Hi Idris how are you", said Chris
"Hi, I'm glad to meet you" said the young man he advanced to the end of the Dock of Shame.
"Hi soldier how are you" said Brick
"I am good bro, and you" a said Idris
"They also shook hands with Dave. Idris found himself intimidated by Jasmine but held her hand anyway.
Another boat arrived and two girls got off the boat. Both were blonde, both had cheerleading uniforms. They both look alike except that one had a mole on her cheek
"Don't walk in front of me, Samey," said the girl.
"Hi Amy and Samey" said Chris.
And my name is Sammy" said Sammy.
But your sister told me that everyone calls you Samey" said Chris.
Sammy tried to talk but Chris didn't let the two girls get close to the other contestants and Idris looked at Sammy, which made him blush.
Another boat arrived and dropped off a goth girl. With White skin, short hair and blue eyes
"Wait, tell me we're not staying here" said Gwen.
I'm not, but you are, I'll be in a hotel with the technical team" said Chris
Yes well I'm not staying here" said Gwen annoyed
"Okay but I hope you know how to swim" he said turned and saw the boat leave to pick up his bags and head to the end of the Dock of Shame.
After Gwen arrived, a puckish sound could be heard from far away. Un garçon était dessus. Il avait un Iroquois Ridge. Il A boy was on it. He had an Iroquois Ridge. He was wearing a black sweater with a skull on it and blue pants
"Duncan! Are you okay?" said Chris.
"I hate surprises," said Duncan.
"Yes, that's what your parole officer told me, he also told me to contact him anytime I wanted to take you back to your cell" said Chris.
"Okay, I'll stay," Duncan said.
"I'll meet you at the campfire," Duncan said to Amy.
"I'd rather die" said Amy
"Nice piercings you did all by yourself" said Dave
"Yeah, you want me to make you one? "Duncan said as he grabbed Dave's pound.
Nah, I'm good! You can give me my lip back, please," Dave said. Duncan finally let go of Dave's lip.
Another boat came by and dropped off a boy with glasses, he had a little weight and the beginnings of a beard.
"Welcome to the camp, Sam" said Chris
He didn't listen to him because he was playing on this console.
"I see the problem" said Chris. He took the console from Sam and put it in his pocket
"Give me back my console" said Sam.
"Sorry, consoles are not allowed in the camp, you will get it back after the competition.
"Okay," said Sam.
A boat dropped off another candidate. He had a cap, was tall and wearing a black jacket
"Hi B how are you" said Chris
B gave a thumbs up
"Not very chatty are you" said Chris
B gave another thumbs up, he looked around and didn't see a hotel
"You're wondering where the hotel is, there isn't one" said Chris
B raised his shoulders and joined the other candidates
Hi Chris" said a mysterious girl
AH! But how did you get here" said Chris
"I took a shortcut" said the mystery girl
"Friends, this is Dawn" said Chris
"Hello everyone" said Dawn as she approached the other candidates.
"Your auras is a powerful green that suits you" said Dawn to B
"Hey everyone, Leshawna is in the house" said a girl in the distance
"Yo baby! How you doing? I'm good" said Leshawna in a hive five to Chris
"If you want to retire and save yourself the trouble do it! Cause I'm here to win" said Leshawna
"How are you doing everyone, you have a great smile" said Leshawna to Dj
"I've never seen a girl like you in real life yet" said Sam.
"What?" said Leshawna
"You're imposing and you don't stop talking" said Sam
"What did you say to me? I'm dreaming or something" said Leshawna
"You haven't seen it yet! You're going to see the big one, baby! "said Leshawna
Leshawna was about to run at Sam but Dj and Sky held her back
"Relax, folks! Calm down! "said Chris
Another boat dropped off another boy
He was tall in stature, wore overalls and had red hair
"Hi Rodney" said Chris
"Hi Chris, I can't wait for the masseuse to massage me" said Rodney.
"Speaking of which, there is no hotel or spa" said Chris.
"I got screwed again" said Rodney.
"At least there are girls," said Rodney as he headed for the other candidates.
Another boat arrived and dropped off another boy.
He had black skin, afro hair and a big stain on his sweater
"Hey Beardo how are you doing buddy" said Chris
"DING"
"Uh... Okay I'll take that as a yes" said Chris
"Validation noise"
"Okay. So I'll tell you one thing, don't talk too much and maybe you won't be eliminated too soon" said Chris.
Another boat dropped off another girl
She had red hair and a very short outfit
"Hi Zoey, how are you doing" said Chris
"Wow, the real Chris Mclean in front of me, that's so cool" said Zoey
"Tell me where the SPA is, I'm thinking of relaxing a bit" said Zoey
"You'll laugh, but there's no SPA or hotel" says Chris.
"False advertising" says Zoey.
"Yes, welcome to Camp Wawanakwa.
Zoey went to the other candidates
Another boat arrived but did not drop off any candidates
"Uh... Where are the candidates?" said Chris.
A box was thrown from the boat.
Chris opened it but saw the last thing he expected.
"DIE ZOMBIE" said a boy.
Chris managed to dodge his punch
"Calm down Shawn, there are no zombies," said Chirs.
"You can't be sure they're everywhere" said Shawn.
"Okay, now go stand next to the other candidates.
Another boat arrived and dropped off another boy.
He was wearing a white wifebeater and blue jeans and had red hair.
"Hi Scott, how are you doing" said Chris
"Don't talk to me, just tell me where the SPA is," said Scott.
"As you can see there is no SPA hotel" said Chris
"Time better I hate the big place" said Scott
"Bizzard this guy" said Dave to Idris
"Yeah, your right" said Idris
"What did you say" said Scott who had heard Dave
"Nothing important" said Dave
"Your attention: this is Izzy
"Hi Chris! Hi everyone. Hi!" said Izzy.
As she tried to get out of the boat she tripped and slammed her jaw against the floor
"Ooh, she must have hurt herself! "said Idris
"I don't know if one of my spells will save her," said Leonard.
Jasmine jumped to Izzy's rescue and pulled her out of the water
"What a feeling... it feels good! Except my hair is messed up, is this summer camp? Oh, but it's great! How about some food?
"Okay, folks, here's the latest candidate."
A small boy, very short, wearing a jacket and purple hair.
"Max, sorry, I didn't see you" said Chris.
"Evil does not serve the hand" said Max.
Max looked at the other candidates.
"Hello slaves, you are in the presence of evil itself".
Many candidates we laughed
"Laugh all you want but the world will be mine" said Max.
Once all the candidates arrived, Chris wanted to take a picture with everyone on the boat and took a picture except he forgot to remove the second attempt to take a picture the memory was full Duncan started to lose patience once the memory card was sorted he took the picture but the Dock of Shame broke but Chris would not take another one
Once the candidates dried off, Chris told them to meet by the fire, "Well, this is Wawanakwa, this is where you're going to live for the next eight weeks should be, the candidates here will become your roommates, your competitors and maybe your friends, you know what I mean, whoever stays on Total Drama the longest
"Excuse me. How do we arrange the bed choices, because I have to admit it would be cool if I slept under her bed," Duncan said, looking at Amy.
"These aren't co-ed dorms I hope? "Amy said.
"No, there are two dorms in each cabin: one for boys and one for girls" said Chris.
"Oh, come on comrades, it'll be just like the army," said Brick as he picked up Idris and Dave.
"Oh, Brick, I can't breathe," said Idris and Dave.
"So I'm going to form two teams when I say your name, you're going to go to the left of me, Samey, Jasmine, Izzy, Leshawna, Sam, Scott, Gwen, B, Max and Amy now, everyone's going to call you. The Screaming Gopher
"Wait a minute, I'm on the same team as Amy," Sammy said.
The candidates I did not call so Brick ,Dave, Duncan, Dj, Rodney, Leonard, Sky, Shawn, Beardo, Dawn and Idris the name of the team will be... The Killer Basse," said Chris
"Okay campers, you and your team will be followed by our cameras in all public spaces during the competition.

"Okey. This game sucks

"In my head, I'm still running from zombies. And if you're not, you're crazy!

""After Chris' introduction, the contestants entered their cabins.
"Doesn't a bunk bed look too camp?" said Amy.
"That's just the point of the idea" said Gwen.
Hey, goth, I didn't tell you" said Amy.
"Where are the showers? I need to plug in my hair straightener" says Amy.
"There are some in the communal shower," said Chris
"The communal showers are a joke," said Amy.
"Oh, I'm glad we're staying with boys in our dorm, you know what I mean?" said Sam
Scott and B looked at him strangely
"That's not what I meant. I like girls. I don't want to sleep with her, that's not what I meant." said Sam.
"Chris, excuse me. Do we have chaperones or something?" said Idris.
"As far as I know, you're over sixteen, so you're old enough to be a camp counselor, which means besides me, you won't have anyone to take care of you, so you'll have half an hour to get your stuff ready and meet me in the dining hall, so watch the clock," Chris said.
After Chris' speech, a scream was heard in the Gophers' girls' room, it was Amy screaming about a cockroach
"Wow she screams loud!" said Leshawna "
What is it? Kill it... that monster" a said Amy
When Dj saw the cockroach, he jumped on Gwen's bed
"That was my bed," said Gwen.
Everyone tried to squash it but no one succeeded until Duncan came along with an axe and cut the roach in half.
"Well, I didn't know that was the way to kill cockroaches," said Gwen.
"But you're a heartless being for killing that poor roach," said Dawn,
"Because it was in total panic," Duncan said.
"May Mother Nature make him pay one day," Dawn said.
"Wait, you can talk to animals. You're weird," Dave said.
"It's a gift I was born with," said Dawn.
"I don't know that magic, I'd like to learn it," says Leonard.
Refectory
"Listen. I serve three meals a day! and you eat three times a day, I serve you the dish, sit down and eat it all," said Chef Hatchet.
"Is your food clean," said Dave.
"How about a dose of slap in the face?" said Chef Hatchet.
"He doesn't look so easy," said Sam.
"What did you say? Get over here, boy! I don't think I heard you right" said Chief Hatchet
"I guess it wasn't that important" said Sam
"I'm sure it was" said Chief Hatchet
"Excuse me, my nutritionist strongly advised me not to eat simple sugars, white flour and dairy products" said Sky
"I don't think that will be a problem" said Gwen
Okay, I don't want to sound like a picky eater, but I feel like there's something alive in my burger," said Gwen.
After Gwen's words, the chef took a hammer and smashed the burger.
"Well, that settles it," Gwen said from the other side. "
This guy thinks he's the bad guy but I'm the bad guy AH AH AH",
"Welcome to the dining room" says Chris
"Tell me Chris is there any way we can order hot dogs? "said Shawn
Chef Hatchet overheard Shawn and tossed A knife
"Calm down, I was just kidding" said Shawn
"Your first challenge starts in an hour" said Chris
"What do you think the challenge is going to be" said Zoey
"This is the first challenge, it's probably going to be really easy" said Dj
An hour later, all the competitors had to jump off the cliff
"Oh shit" said Dj

Author's note: so how did you find this chapter? If you're wondering who Idris is, he's an OC that I created, I was in need of inspiration so I named him after myself. Idris is a bit like everyone else, with his own personality. I decided to make him like that so that a maximum of people can identify with him.
