Chapter summary: Because things with Victor go a little bit differently.
They waited.
"This is boring. Let's face it the Kraang are never going to show up," said Raph.
"Trust me guys there going to break into this lab tonight. I have reilbel intel."
"Intel?" question Raph.
"He means his girlfriend told him," said Leo with a smirk.
"April told me. Not my girlfriend. She's just a friend who happens to be a girl."
Raph muttered under his breath as he folded his arms he glanced over to Mikey looking to the youngest with concen. His little brother had been horribly tense since that break down and Raph hated seeing him all worked up.
He shouldn't be leader. Raph can't help, but think.
Mikey didn't need the extra stress.
"What the heck is going on up here? Are we playing dress up?"
Mikey groaned the moment the stranger appeared.
"Not this again," he muttered.
Raph wonder what Mikey meant by again.
"No, sir were just…"
"Which one of you slimy green ham shanks busted my satellite dish?"
Raph was starting to get annoyed.
"Ham shanks."
He was ticked off now.
"I don't even know what that means," said Donnie.
"That's it buddy," said a furiously Mikey.
Donnie held him back.
"What's wrong with you turtle freak?"
Nobody calls his baby brother a freak and gets away with it.
Raph was ready to beat this guy black and blue.
"Easy Mikey take it easy," said Donnie.
Right, he wasn't the only one furious.
Unknowing to the four turtles Kraangdroids were down on the ground and they looked up on the rooftop to see what all the noise was going on about.
"Kraangdroids," said Leo.
"Finally something I can take off."
"Mikey wait." shouted Donnie.
"Scam," Raph muttered as he jumped down to the ground.
"Holy cow. They're some kinda . . . Kung fu frogs."
He pulls out his phone.
"Can I kill him?" asked Mikey.
"No," the three brothers yelled in union and unknowing their mother as will.
"But he's just going to cause trouble."
"Mikey," Leo stressed as Mikey destroyed three Kraangdroids.
"But Leo."
"No."
Mikey destroyed another Kraangdroid.
"Fine," he muttered bitterly. Taking out another Kraangdroid. "But someone better stop him because he's filming us."
"What?" Leo and Donnie both said as Raph turned to glare.
And, true to Mikey words he was indeed filming them.
"Not for long."
Raph jumps back onto the roof, but the man let's out a scream and makes a run for it. Raph follows, but is quickly slammed in the face by a door and hits the ground.
"There's too many of these Kraangdroids we're going to have to move out," said Donnie.
Raph jumped back down to join the fight.
"Fine, let's withdrawn," said Mikey.
"What about that creep with his phone," protested Raph.
"We will work on that later. For now, let's move."
Mikey dropped the smoke bomb and the turtles flee.
"I can't believe we left. We could've won that fight," said Raph.
"We were being overwhelmed," said Mikey.
Don't look at me like that, Raph wanted to say.
Don't look at him as if he had just came back from war.
Don't look so broken because you're not, so stop acting like you are, Raph thinks.
"We could've handle them."
"No, Raph we couldn't."
You're not my brother, Raph thinks. He wasn't his happy carefree brother like Mikey was back when he was a tot. He shouldn't be leader. Leo or Raph should be, not Mikey.
"That is enough the both of you," said Master Splinter. "Not only did you get caught by the Kraang, but you were film as will."
"I volunteer to kill him," said Mikey happily.
"And, you will not kill Michaelangelo."
"Mum says the same thing," said Mikey sadly.
Donnie patted him on the shoulder.
"Michelangelo I expect after tonight you will see Mr. O'Neil."
"But sensei…"
"You need help my son and your anger was the reason why your mission was jeopardise in the first place. You need to learn to heal my son. I do not know what causes this trouble in you, but it cannot linger on forever."
"Hai sensei."
"What about the phone? That guy still has us on film," said Raph.
"Will perhaps you should do something about this," Mikey opened up his mouth. "And, you will not kill him my son." Mikey sulked.
"How are we going to take his phone off him?" asked Leo.
"Hmm, I'm not too sure. But hopefully we get it before he post the video online. Wait, where's Mikey?"
There was a long pause between the turtles as the three look around.
"Mikey," the three said in unions after an awful realisation dawned on them.
Mikey muttered he can take care of this guy easily.
You do not need to kill him my son. He is no threat.
"I know that."
"Oh, great the frog is talking to himself."
"First of all dude I'm not a frog I'm a turtle and second of all give me that phone."
"Or, what?"
Mikey spun his nunchuck around wracking him over the head knocking him out cold and taking his phone out of his pocket.
"Or, that will happen."
I'm so glad you didn't kill him my Sunshine.
"He wasn't worth killing like you said mum he's no threat."
"Mikey," said Leo meeting his brother on top of the rooftop.
"What the shell knucklehead? What were you thinking running off like that?"
Mikey smiled and waved the phone around.
"You got his phone," said Donnie.
Mikey dropped the phone onto the ground and as he stepped on it the phone smashed.
"Yep, saving us a lot of trouble."
"Team leaders aren't meant to leave their teams behind like that," said Raph furiously.
"Raph," warned Leo.
"What it's true? What kind of leader is he if he's just going to run off like that?"
"Someone who just saved us a lot more trouble than it was worth."
"Are you saying we can't handle anything?"
"What? No, that isn't what I'm saying at all."
The two face down one another, but its Donnie who pushes them apart.
"That's enough you guys. Enough fighting. Just remember we're a team Mikey and you're the leader. Alright, little bro."
Mikey glared at the ground, grunts and nods.
"Let's go home," said Mikey, leading the way.
