Chapitre 17: Hide and Be Sneaky

Duncan for ever : Yes, it's true that the chapter ends sadly, but we had to find a reason for Sky's departure.
"The last time on Total Drama Island. The campers did the treasure hunt, and I was very impressive as the pirate. But this treasure hunt was no ordinary hunt. Several candidates put their lives on the line to get their loot. Dave almost had his stomach turned when he did something that would have scared a lot of people away. In the end, the candidates went above and beyond to win treasures, which, let's be honest, were not worth their efforts. With the exception of Dave who won immunity. Dave and Sky's love affair went a bit awry when Scott's plan revealed that Sky already had a girlfriend. In the end, it was Sky who left the island. Who will be the next candidate to walk the Dock of Shame? Who will keep their cool? Who will be the smartest? Find out in the most shocking episode of TOTAL DRAMA... ISLAND
After the introductory song, we find the girls in their cabin talking to each other.
"I still can't believe what happened yesterday" says Sammy.
"Yeah, some people really don't have a chance," says Gwen.
"Easy girls I know Dave is hurting you but we have to stay focused" said Leshawna
"Yes, she's right," says Gwen.
"Girls, I have an idea. In the movies, the boys always help each other, a kind of code of honor" says Leshawna.
"I'm not sure I understand" said Sammy.
"They will form an alliance with each other to eliminate us" said Leshawna.
"Are you sure" said Gwen.
"Of course, that's how boys work" said Leshawna.
"Okay, what do you suggest?" said Gwen.
"We'll form a three-way alliance and call it the girls' alliance" said Leshawna.
"I'm for it and you're for Sammy" said Gwen.
"I don't know girls, my boyfriend is with me and I don't want to betray him" said Sammy.
"It's not like you're not going to see him again, Idris is a smart boy and he will probably understand" said Leshawna.
"Well, okay, I'll join the girl alliance" said Sammy.
Later, we find Scott and Dave talking alone in the boys' cabin.
"You know Dave, you couldn't have known that Sky had a boyfriend" says Scott.
"That's true. By the way, thanks to you for telling me that Sky was manipulating me," says Dave.
"It's okay, I hate it when people manipulate others" says Scott.
"These people are the worst there is" says Dave.
"But you know you can't trust anyone on this island, I'm the only honest and fair person" says Scott.
"No, even though Sky betrayed me, Idris and Duncan are the people you can trust," says Dave.
"You are far too naive," Scott said.
"What do you mean by that?
"When the time comes they will betray you and have you eliminated, people are deceitful, you said yourself in your audition video that you wouldn't trust anyone" said Scott.
"I didn't believe it at first, I was going to play it alone, but Duncan helped me and Idris is really one of the best people I've ever met" said Dave.
"You're living in a different world, but you'll see I'm right," said Scott.
Dave lay back on his bed thinking about what Scott had said.
Confessional: Scott
My goal is to build an alliance with Dj and Brick when I don't need them anymore I'll take them out. But for now I have to get Dave to turn on Idris and Duncan.
End of the confessional
Later, we can see the campers gathered in front of Chris to challenge him.
"Today's challenge is an old fashioned game of hide and seek, you have ten minutes to hide, before Chief Hatchet comes after you. A former career military man with a PhD in manhunting, he is well qualified to make this game extremely difficult" says Chris.
"The chief pulled out a water gun
"What's he doing with that water gun? "Duncan said before a red laser appeared on his forehead.
"The lifeguard chair is your target. If he finds you, the leader will spray you. If you manage to avoid the spray, you can run to the chair. But if he catches you before then, you'll get soaked," Chris says.
"We're going to get wet from a little water! I'm scared to death! "Duncan said sarcastically.
"Why don't you give us a demonstration, Chief?" said Chris.
The chief loaded his water gun and a large amount of water hit Chris, who was thrown away.
"NOT ON ME, MEC" said Chris angrily.
"How can we win this challenge?" said Gwen.
"You have three options. One: make sure the chief doesn't find you. Two: Run to the base before the Chief finds you. Three: Once caught, you will help the Chief find the others. Do any of these three things and you win immunity, is that clear? "said Chris.
Sammy raised his hand but Chris ignored him.
" You have ten minutes to hide. Go ahead," Chris says.
All the campers ran away
Leshawna put on her bathing suit and dove into the lake with a lily pad snorkel.
Sammy tried to hide in the showers but Chris followed her.
He hit
"Okay, I surrender," Sammy said.
"It's not Chief Hatchet. It's me Chris," said Chris.
"You scared me," said Sammy.
"You know you're going to have to be a little more careful, if you don't want the chief to catch you" said Chris.
"Are my stashes that predictable?" said Sammy.
"Yes, even a child could have found you," Chris said.
She quickly got out of the shower to find another hiding place
"I think she'll find a better hiding place," said Chris.
Shawn searched the forest for a hiding place, passed a cave and was grabbed by hands.
"Don't eat my head" said Shawn.
"Don't make a sound," said Duncan.
Duncan, Dave and Idris were also in the cave.
"You guys are scaring me," said Shawn.
"Hi Shawn," said Idris.
"This place is so cool," said Shawn.
"Listen to me, Shawn, we need you to vote against Brick," Duncan said.
"Ah, that's why you brought me back to this cave," Shawn said.
"Can we count on you? "Idris said.
"Just one question, why do you want to eliminate Brick?" said Shawn.
"He's a great threat, he has great physical abilities and he was in the military. "Duncan said.
"That's a good reason," said Shawn.
"Can we count on you? " said Duncan.
"Okay, I'll vote for him," says Shawn.
"Cool. Now you can go," says Duncan.
"What?" said Dave.
"I was here first. This is my stash, guys," Duncan said.
"But aren't we an alliance? " said Idris.
"Only for votes," said Duncan.
"That means I'm part of the alliance," said Shawn.
"Well... We're not an alliance, we just agree on votes."
"Oh yeah" says Shawn
The boys came out
Dave hid above a tree until he saw a couple of birds talking.
"Don't listen to her, you love her, you do everything for her, then she'll tell you she already has a boyfriend" said Dave.
The birds just stood there looking at Dave.
"Don't look at me like that, you know I'm right" says Dave.
The birds ran away
He felt a tremor as he let go
"Sorry soldiers, you are out of the game" said Chief Hatchet.
"Shit," said Dave.
Brick camouflages himself in the mud as if he were invisible.
"It would take a master of camouflage to see me," says Brick.
Sammy looked for a hiding place near the campfire, but she found nothing.
"Zute, I'm really bad at hiding" said Sammy.
She kept walking until she got tangled up in some tinsel.
"I'm in trouble" said Sammy
A family of skunks arrive in front of her
"No please don't fart" said Sammy
The skunks farted
"Burk is disgusting" said Sammy
Chief Hatchet has arrived
"Normally I'm not supposed to water by force but here" said Chief Hatchet
"Please water me" said Sammy
The Chief watered her
"An advice to go take a shower" Sammy
"Good idea," said Sammy, running to the shower.
Excuse me, Chief, I can leave," said Dave.
"No, you stay with me, I need you to find the others" said Chief Hatchet.
Refectory
Scott went into the dining hall, he looked everywhere and then he found it. He decided to hide under the table.
"I could have found something better," said Scott.
He heard a noise behind him.
"It sounds like someone is right next to me," Scott said.
On the roof of the canteen, Dj and Idris can be seen trying to get on the roof.
"I have the best hiding place," said Dj.
"No one thought to hide here" says Idris.
The two men walk forward and cross each other.
"Dj!" says Idris.
"Idris!" says Dj
"What are you doing here?" said Idris.
"You, what are you doing here, I was here first" Dj.
"I was here first" says Idris
"Well listen, no need to argue, we can share" says Dj.
"Ok, but don't say I'm here and I won't say you're here" says Idris.
The chef waits for the noise coming from the dining hall.
Confessional: Chief Hatchet
These teenagers are really bad in wartime they would have been dead long ago
End Confessional
He went into the refectory and started looking around until he found Scott hiding under the table.
"Found it, you're out" said Chief Hatchet
"Shit" said Scott
"Tell me if I find someone I have immunity" said Scott
"That's exactly right" said Chief Hatchet
"All right then, there's someone on the roof" said Scott.
Chief Hatchet ran up to the roof and found Dj. He sprayed
"Lost soldiers" said Chief Hatchet
Dj had a disappointed face
"It's okay buddy, you'll do better next time" said Scott
Confessional: Dj
At first I thought Scott was mean, but as my mom says "You shouldn't judge a person by their looks".
Confessional: Dave
Maybe Scott is really trustworthy
End Confessional
Scott saw Idris on the roof
"Chief Hatchet, there's Idris on the roof" said Scott
The Chief has watered Idris
"Scott gets immunity tonight," said Chef Hatchet.
"That's not cool Scott" said Idris.
"That was my only way to get immunity" said Scott.
Forest
Chief Hatchet had found a clue about Duncan, he had found one of his hairs.
"I feel he's over there," said Chief Hatchet as he looked into a cave.
He entered the cave and found Duncan.
"You will come with me," said Chief Hatchet.
Duncan tried to run away.
The chief chased him, but could not catch up.
"I'll see you when I win," Duncan said in a cocky voice.
"Never underestimate the Master Chief," replied Chief Hatchet.
He shot water in Duncan's path, causing him to slip.
"You lost, soldier," said Master Chief Hatchet.
"Okay, okay I surrender," said Duncan.
"I have four more people to find," said Chief Hatchet.
Searching the forest again, he found a mud lake. He dug around it until he found Brick.
"I guess I'm out," Brick said.
"Bad luck for you, I know all the techniques used in the army" said Chief Hatchet.
"You can water me please," said Brick.
"With pleasure," said Chief Hatchet.
He watered which made the mud disappear.
"I miss Shawn, Gwen and Leshawna" said Chief Hatchet.
As he continued to search, he came across a bump in the ground.
"This lump is not normal," said Chief Hatchet.
He patted the bump and noticed that the grass was not ordinary. He lifted the grass and saw Gwen
"Very well tried but failed" said Chief Hatchet.
"That was lucky" said Gwen.
"Now I only have two more people to find," said Chief Hatchet.
"But you hadn't explored the whole forest," Sammy said.
"What if, they had already arrived," said Idris.
Chief Hatchet's face changed.
"Quick, everyone to the dock of shame" said Chief Hatchet.
They ran to the Dock of Shame and saw Leshawna sitting in the lifeguard chair.
"What took you so long, Chief?" said Leshawna.
"Wait a second, if it's just you here, that means there's another person to find," said Chief Hatchet.
He ran into the forest looking for Shawn.
Shawn was camouflaged in a tree as he had been before.
He could see Chief Hatchet moving around looking for him, something to laugh about.
He laughed a little loudly and Chief Hatchet heard a noise
He turned around and stood in front of Shawn's tree to see him. He used his sense of smell and smelled paint.
"This tree is not normal" said Chief Hatchet.
He watered the tree and Shawn was revealed.
"Finally I find you" said Chief Hatchet
"The game is over, Leshawna and Scott have immunity. Tonight choose who will go home" said Chris
Girls cabin
"So who do we vote for tonight" said Gwen
I propose Brick" said Sammy
"I would have said Shawn" said Leshawna
"If we told the reasons why we should eliminate them" said Gwen
"Shawn is very agile and smart, he proved it to us today" said Leshawna
"Yes, but Brick is strong and he is also smart enough to hide himself, if it wasn't for the Chief looking for us, he would surely have won" said Sammy.
"Your right the choice is really hard" said Leshawna
"And you Gwen, what do you think" said Gwen
"Well you both gave good arguments but the choice remains difficult" said Gwen
Boys' cabin
Scott and Dj talk about who they were going to eliminate tonight
"Dj I think we should vote for Shawn" said Scott
"Why him?" said Dj
"He is a great threat with many qualities" said Scott
"I agree but there are only two of us" said Dj
"If we ask Brick, I think he'll agree," Scott said.
"Okay, I'll ask him, but do you know where he is?" said Dj.
"He's probably in the back practicing" said Scott.
Dj went behind the booth.
"Hi Brick, Scott and I need you to vote against Shawn" said Dj.
"I agree, I needed an ally because it seems everyone has an alliance" said Brick.
"You should tell Scott" said Dj.
"Okay, I'll tell him" said Brick.
Tonight
"Campers, as you know, one of you will have to leave the island on the losers' boat, I remind you that Scott and Leshawna are immune to the vote. You have voted and the people saved are...

"Brick you have to leave now" said Chris
"Soldiers Dj, Soldiers Scott I would love to fight by your side but unfortunately I have to leave but I have to tell you that the other boys are in alliance" said Brick
"Interesting all this" said Scot
He headed to the Dock of Shame then took the loser boat and left.
End of Chapter 17
Author's note: This is a new chapter a little shorter because I don't really have time to write much. So yes in my fanfic it's the girls who make an alliance I don't really find sense that the boys make an alliance knowing that they have more than the girls. For Brick I didn't really know what to do with him so I decided to eliminate him.
My opinion on Brick: I love Brick and he is one of the only characters I like in TDROTI. I think I could do something with him in Island but I didn't succeed but maybe in another season
