Chapitre 23: Camp Castaways
Yassine789 : Yes I didn't want to dwell too much on this chapter. And for Scott I didn't want to eliminate Leshawna like in the canon, for me it didn't make sense

The last time on Total Drama Island. In a special episode we found the former campers in a luxurious hotel. Playa de Losers. We could see that Idris and Sammy were still in love, that Amy had become even more unbearable and that Jasmine, Beardo, Dj and Brick had a hatred towards Scott. The former losers had to vote on who would be eliminated tonight. After the vote Scott was eliminated and I think he got a beating. Who will be the next contestant to go in the dramatic campfire ceremony? You'll find out by watching this new episode of TOTAL DRAMA... ISLAND
After the introduction song we find Chris under the rain
"Walcom back in Total Drama Island. This week has prepared a very special episode full of surprises. For example: the rain is not easy to control. But we found that the last four campers. They were really starting to find the game easy. Let's just say we all just spiced things up," said Chirs before getting hit by a lightning bolt.
Then we find the campers outside their cabin
"Listen to me, candidates, one of the most indispensable challenges in summer camp is the inevitable rainy day. A day where any activity, even the least fun one, is replaced by the not so inevitable name: DIY. The weather forecast for tomorrow. Rain, rain and more rain. So I give you an appointment tomorrow at seven o'clock sharp "said Chirs
" It's good not to see Scott here anymore," says Leshawna.
"Yeah, I still don't know how he got into the final five," Gwen says.
"It's touching to see you guys getting along so well, it's heartwarming," Duncan said wryly.
"Very funny Duncan, but I'll remind you that we're stronger than you," said Leshawna.
"You made me laugh. Dave and I can beat you with our eyes closed. Can you confirm that, Dave? "Duncan said.
"Yeah... sure, no problem," said Dave.
Confessional: Dave
"I hate it when people start to provoke each other, it usually ends up in a fight all the time.
End Confessional
" Don't you think it's really starting to rain a lot?" said Gwen.
"Yeah, we better get going," said Leshawna.
"Wait. Have either of you seen Dave?" said Duncan.
"Since he left for the confessional, he hasn't been back," said Gwen.
"He'll come back anyway," said Duncan.
All the campers returned to their cabins.
The rain continued to fall until it flooded the island, washing away many things.
The next day Chief rang a bell
"Hey, Chief, do you know where they went?" said Chris.
"No. And I just peeled a ton of old potatoes" said Chief.
"I don't see any of them that's weird. And now that I think about it their cabin is gone" said Chris.
Then we find the campers floating on the water with their cabins or their beds
Duncan got out of his cabin and fell into the water, then Leshawna fell into the water
"But what are you... "said Gwen before falling into the water
"But where does all this water come from" said Gwen
"Did the rain make a flood? "said Leshawna
"This situation is ridiculous, it's almost comical," said Duncan.
A shark began to circle them.
"Run! "said Leshawna
They swam out of the water at full speed
" Il we need to find something big and soft to lock his jaw," says Gwen.
"Leshawna, sacrifice yourself for us," said Duncan.
"Shut up, you stupid punk" said Leshawna.
Confessional: Dave
He tried to open the door, then saw that it was floating.
What am I doing on the water, I'm going to die here . I'm stuck here and it stinks. This is a bad joke, Chris
End confessional
After floating for hours, the campers finally arrive at an island.
"Okay. I'm the only one for whom this island is scary," says Gwen.
"I understand that it's really strange" says Leshawna.
"Yo drama queens. The water current just drifted us away, the producers will probably send a search party" said Duncan.
Then we move on to Chris and Chief who were still in front of the usual cabin location.
"The fact that he's not there means the craft day is off. As for me, I'm hungry. Let's go eat," Chris said.
"You really want to eat those old rotten potatoes" said the chef.
"Not really. I was thinking more about the breakfast waiting for us at the camp" said Chris.
"Cool" said the chef. The two men started laughing and shoving each other
Confessional: Duncan
Fine, fine, fine, alone on an island with two girls. Too bad she's boring.
Confessional : Gwen
I figured they'd leave me here to die.
Confessional: Leshawna
Being stuck with Duncan on a desert island is hell. He'll probably eat you if he doesn't get something to eat.
End Confessional
Duncan is lying on a ratchet
"We should relax until help arrives," Duncan said.
"But what if there is no rescue team? What if the producers think we're dead? I suggest we make a raft to get back to camp," said Gwen.
"Good idea! That way we'll get lost even more," said Duncan.
"We need to make a raft" said Gwen.
"And I say we stay put" said Duncan.
"Build a raft" said Gwen
"We're not moving," said Duncan.
"Stop it both, this is the worst time to argue" said Leshawna
"So what do you suggest" said Duncan.
"That we explore the island to see if it's safe" said Leshawna.
"Good idea, I'll go left" said Gwen
"I go to the right" said Leshawna
"I'll stay where I am" said Duncan
Confessional: Leshawna
I'm a great leader, I got everyone to agree. Plus someone had to keep calm and Leshawna is not easily scared off.
End Confessional
Then we move on to Leshawna who had found a tree house
"Not bad I guess, it's better than nothing" said Leshawna
Then we go to Dave who was still in the confessional
"Fuck what did I do to deserve this, why out of 7 billion humans it falls on me" said Dave. The confessional booth hit something
"Wait a minute, this is sand" said Dave
He ran out of the confessional
"Free at last, freedom is priceless" said Dave
He continued to move forward and then came across a T-rex skull
"Seriously, a dinosaur skull is really the least believable thing and I'm sure it's made out of junk" said Dave
Confessional: Chris
Just to set the record straight. My sets are not junk. We lost three stagehands setting up the squellette and for the search party. No! The campers are on their own. It was not necessary to make flop my idea of the squellette of T- rex
End Confessional
Then we return to Leshawna who was on the balcony of the cabin
"Nice view, hey you two come see what I just found" said Leshawna.
She opened the door and saw a skeleton that scared her. She fell backwards. She took a step back and saw the skull of a T-rex, which scared her again.
At the same time, Duncan and Gwen arrived.
Confessional: Chris
I knew the T-rex idea was good.
End confessional
"So you still think we're close to camp," said Leshawna.
"Okay. Sometimes I'm wrong," Duncan said.
Then we turn back to Dave, who hadn't moved.
"This is the worst day of my life," Dave said.
He started to get hungry
Besides, I didn't eat anything this morning," Dave said.
He saw coconuts
"I think that should be enough," said Dave.
Confessional: Chief
Can someone please explain to me what palm trees and coconuts do here. We are in northern Ontario
"These are props from an amusement park commercial," said Chris.
The chef stares at her.
"What? To make the budget" said Chris.
End of the confessional
Dave had finished eating
"I hate coconut but I guess it's better than nothing," Dave said.
He got up and set off. In two minutes of walking he found the other campers
"Dave! "Leshawna said.
"We thought you were dead," said Duncan.
"Why would I be dead, it's just a challenge Chris made" said Dave
"Wait what?" said Gwen.
"It sounds like a survival challenge" said Dave
"What makes you say that?" said Leshawna
"The T-rex skull or the fact that Chris is a huge psychopath" said Dave
"No matter how challenging it is we have to do something" said Leshawna
"What do we have to do" said Duncan
"Let's start by getting into the cabin" said Leshawna.
"No way am I going in there, it must be years since it's been cleaned" said Dave.
"We're stuck on a deserted island, we need to build a raft" said Gwen.
"If we're stranded here, the producers will eventually come and save us" said Duncan.
"What if the producers don't know where we are? They're not very smart, in case you haven't noticed" said Gwen.
Confessional: Chirs
I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that okay
Confessional: Dave
I was better off alone, now they're just going to argue
End Confessional
"Well you know what, we're going to make a new rule, from now on it's every man for himself" said Duncan
"Perfect," said the other campers.
Confessional: Duncan
I know it was a bad idea to split up with Dave, we could have worked together but he thinks it's a challenge and I don't want to risk dying on this island.
End Confessional
Leshawna went back to the cabin, Duncan took the bow and arrow, Dave went into the forest and Gwen went to build a raft.
Then we go to Dave who was in the forest
"I've been walking for eleven minutes and I feel like I'm going around in circles" he sighed.
"Maybe I should have stayed with the others" said Dave
An arrow grazed Dave
"WTF! Where did that arrow come from" said Dave
It was Duncan who shot at random
"Oh man. I have no idea where that arrow landed. Remind me, always take more than one arrow," Duncan said.
He heard some noise behind him, and he had a devilish grin on his face.
He pulled out his knife and jumped on the thing and stabbed it several times. In the end it was just fruit.
"Fruit salad for dessert," Duncan said.
He saw a giant egg
"And an omelet for dinner as a main course. Yeah, great," said Duncan.
He took the giant egg and left. A noise could be heard but none of the campers heard it.
Duncan was back in front of the cabin, where Gwen and Leshawna were
Leshawna was eating chocolate
"Hey, where did you get that chocolate?" said Duncan.
"I always go out with a chocolate bar" said Leshawna
"Not a bad idea. You could use it if you're stuck on a desert island. You'd have to share with us or we'll starve," said Duncan.
"Sorry, but you're the one who said it, it's every man for himself" said Leshawna.
The noise from earlier could still be heard. This time if the campers heard it
"What was that?" said Gwen.
"No idea, but it doesn't sound like he's laughing," said Duncan.
Then we move on to Dave who was still in the forest
"You can't be serious, where is the exit?" said Dave.
He heard the noise
"Okay I'm not staying here" said Dave
He ran to the confessional
"At least here I can think of a plan" said Dave
In reality the noise was Chief blowing a horn
"Brunch is served," said the chef.
"Brunch! What a great meal, don't you think? You've already digested your breakfast but you're not hungry for lunch yet?" said Chris.
"It's mostly nonsense," whispered Chief.
"Ice cream! You really outdid yourself Chief" said Chris.
Chief blew the horn again.
The campers heard him again.
"That's Chris trying to scare you," said Dave.
Then we went back to the other campers.
"This thing is never going to stop" said Leshawna.
Gwen's stomach started to get very hungry.
"It doesn't matter what it is. I'm not staying here" said Gwen who had finished building her raft.
"But you don't even know how to leave" said Leshawna.
"I don't care. At least I'll be off this island" said Gwen.
"I can give you my egg in exchange for a place on your raft," said Duncan.
Confessional: Gwen
I didn't really want to go with him but I was too hungry.
End confessional
He started to get even hungrier
"Deal" said Gwen
"Wait, you're leaving me here alone" said Leshawna.
"You're not alone, Dave is with you," said Duncan.
"You can't form an alliance together, you said it was every man for himself" said Leshawna.
"We are not an alliance, we just help each other" said Duncan.
"I offered to come but you refused" said Gwen.
"Stay with me and I'll help you," said Leshawna.
Confessional: Leshawna
Okay, I wasn't really scared, but seeing them leave together and him leaving me alone was really not cool.
End confessional
Dave came out of the confessional
"The first thing I need to do is get some food," Dave said.
Then we move on to Chris having fun with Chief
The two were playing a game of limbo
"It's so good to be out in the open" says Chris.
"Too bad our three guys can't enjoy all of this. Maybe we should send them a video," says Chris.
Then we find Gwen and Duncan on the water.
"You row like a girl," Duncan said.
"If you don't think it's going fast enough, you can leave," said Gwen.
"Then pass me the oar," said Duncan, trying to pick it up.
"No, it's my raft, I'll row" said Gwen.
"Correct me if I'm wrong. But I think you're leading us in circles. We're back where we started," Duncan said.
When they landed, they saw empty coconuts and footprints.
"Looks like our desert island isn't so deserted after all," said Gwen, panicking.
"You got us back here, I'll take my egg back," said Duncan.
They started to fight over the egg, but a huge bird flew in front of them.
"You can have your egg back" said Gwen, panicking.
"No, no please, I insist" said Duncan in a panic.
The bird flew toward them and grabbed Duncan.
To save him, Gwen grabbed a rope and threw it at the bird, but the bird dropped it back. They began to float in the air.
Then we move on to Dave who was back at the cabin.
"Where did they go?" said Dave.
"They went on a raft," said Leshawna.
"But it's just a challenge, if they leave the island and they will be eliminated" said Dave.
"It doesn't matter, they left me here" said Leshawna.
"At least we'll already be in the finals," says Dave.
Screams could be heard in the sky.
"Can't you hear something?" said Leshawna.
"If a very strange noise" said Dave.
It was Duncan and Gwen above, flying toward the bird.
Duncan's idea was to stab the bird in the pasta.
The bird screamed in pain and dropped Gwen and Duncan, who fell next to Dave and Leshawna.
"We're not alone on the island," said Gwen.
"What!" said Dave and Leshawna.
"We saw footprints and empty coconuts" said Duncan.
"That was me when I was alone," says Dave.
"Seriously?" said Gwen.
"Yeah, sure," said Dave.
At the same time, a giant snake jumped on the campers.
"That's not true, we're cursed" said Dave.
"Run" said Leshawna.
The campers took refuge above the cabin. They look at the snake with panic.
"How can a snake be so big?" said Dave.
"I don't know but it's scary and cool" said Duncan
Then we move on to Chris and Chief who were having coffee
"So Chief, how do you think the campers are doing on... Desert island" said Chris
"The way I see it, a lot of things could have happened. Either a bear attacked them... Either they fell from a cliff or they starved to death" said Chief
"Maybe I should go look at the screens and see what we can keep in the edit" said Chris
Chief Hatchet grabbed Chris and started tucking him in like a baby
"Chris, you are a dedicated host. You are an inspiration" said Chef Hatchet.
Thanks, Dude. That's my forte" said Chris
Then we move on to the campers who had returned to the cabin
"So what do we do now?" said Duncan.
" "We're going to have fun," Leshawna said.
"You want to burn down the forest! I already have a lighter," Duncan said.
"What? No, I wasn't thinking that," said Leshawna.
"What were you thinking then?" said Dave.
"Let's play guessing games" said Leshawna.
"Ok, I'll start" said Gwen, "What floats in the water and gets us off this crappy island?" said Gwen.
"A raft," said Duncan.
"Good job, except now we don't have one," said Gwen.
"That's not a foul, okay?" said Duncan.
"I'm sick of this stupid show," says Dave.
"Stop it, there's no show anymore, we're lost and everyone thinks we're dead," said Gwen.
"Let me convince myself it's a challenge and I'll put it into perspective," says Dave.
"But it's not, you'd have to get that through your head to survive," says Gwen.
"Calm down, whether it's a challenge or not, we need to stay together and think. If it's a challenge, it will stop and if it's not, we need to survive" says Leshawna.
"To think that we are going to die here, when I haven't even finished everything I had to do," said Duncan.
"I too have never dated a girl and never fulfilled my fantasies either" said Dave.
Confessional: Gwen
A At that moment I thought my head was going to explode, supporting Leshawna is still okay but being with Dave and Duncan is unbearable. They never listen to what I say, one thinks it's a challenge and the other thinks the producers are coming for us. Hello we are not in the world of the fairies
Confessional: Dave
I know at first I thought it was a challenge but with what I saw, there is a chance that we are totally lost but my assumption of the challenge is still there
End Confessional
"You know what we could do to pass the time" said Leshawna
"Run for our lives and leave you here with your riddles" said Duncan.
"No, we're going to play another game. Confess to everything we've done wrong" said Leshawna.
"Non jamais" a dit Dave
"Seriously, confession is the best way to feel better. Why do you think people go to confession in churches?" said Leshawna.
"I've done some horrible things, but can you handle my worst secret?" said Duncan.
"I've done a marathon of all the horror movies and you think your little story is going to scare me" said Gwen.
"That's cool," said Duncan.
"Then let's do it," said Leshawna.
The campers looked at each other hesitantly before regrouping and revealing their most horrible secret.
"So that's why you went to Juvee," said Gwen.
"Yes, but it's not as bad as what Leshawna did," Duncan said.
"I admit I went a little too far, but it's not as bad as what Gwen did, if that's your real name," said Leshawna.
Gwen felt guilty.
"Your secrets are so horrible it could be the plot of a horror movie," said Dave.
"Thank you," said Duncan and Gwen.
"That wasn't a compliment," said Dave.
"So how are you feeling now. I'm sure you're feeling better," said Leshawna.
"No, I'm just completely scared of you," Dave said as he lay down on the bed.
At the same time, a spider landed on Dave.
"A SPIDER RIPPED IT OFF ME! " said Dave as he screamed and ran around.
"Calm down Dave, it's just a spider" said Duncan.
Dave ran out of the cabin and saw smoke.
"Guys, I really don't think we're alone," Dave said.
The others came to see
"The rescue team?" said Duncan as he rushed to see
"Or cannibals, maybe," said Gwen.
"Or castaways like us" said Leshawna.
"Or maybe it's just Chris setting us up" said Dave
"There's only one way to find out. We're going to go," said Duncan.
"You're out of your mind, imagine they're cannibals," said Gwen.
"We have to put on makeup so they don't recognize us if we ever see them again" said Leshawna.
Leshawna had put makeup on the other campers. Duncan was blue with black stripes on his eyes, Leshawna and Gwen had red stripes on their eyes and red dots on their cheeks and Dave had a mask made of leaves because he didn't want to wear makeup. They all had wooden spears and Duncan had his bow on top.
"I'm not sure that's a good idea" said Gwen
"Me neither" said Dave
"We're going to scare the hunters away and they'll never attack us again" said Leshawna
"We have just one more problem, the ten meter long python waiting for us down below" said Dave
"Don't worry, I'll get rid of him" said Duncan.
He shot two arrows at the giant snake, one on its body and the other on its tail, to keep it from moving. To finish it off Duncan jumped on it and took out his pocket knife and stabbed it in the head.
The other campers were shocked.
"I know I did great," Duncan said.
"Wow, that was badass" said Dave.
"Why didn't you do that earlier" said Gwen
"Because I didn't have my bow" said Duncan.
"Let's not waste time, let's go" said Leshawna.
The campers ran into the forest and got closer and closer to the smoke, before Leshawna stopped them.
"Guys, we may not make it out alive, but I have to tell you that despite our differences, I enjoyed being with you," said Leshawna.
"Yeah, as weird as that sounds, so did I," said Gwen.
"It was a good experience all in all" said Dave.
After this emotional moment, the campers headed for the smoke. Their surprise was complete when they saw Chris
"Hey guys, it took you guys a while to get here" said Chris.
"Wait, it was really just a challenge" said Gwen.
"It could be a mirage" said Leshawna.
"No, I'm real and you're in the film crew's secret lair, well, until today" said Chris. It was a beautiful place, filled with food and a trailer to rest in.
"I was right, I knew it" says Dave.
"But the presence of the dinosaur skeleton?" says Leshawna.
"And the prehistoric bird," said Duncan.
"We found them on a prehistoric movie set" said Chris.
"So while we were lost, you were here, less than 100 yards from us" says Gwen.
"Suddenly, the rain started to fall. Chris and Chef went into the trailer.
"That's exactly right, I would have invited you but there is only room for six people, let's meet at the campfire" said Chris.
This evening
The campers were sitting in front of Chris, he didn't have their makeup on.
"Well, it hasn't been an easy day and frankly Chef and I are dead tired, I hope you learned two big lessons, the first: always check to make sure your cabin is anchored to the ground. The second: Too bad there is no alliance now, it will make things less cool. Four brains are always better than one" said Chris.
"Chris, who is the winner of the challenge?" said Gwen.
"The winner is Dave, he's the only one who understood it was a challenge. He has immunity and will enjoy a delicious meal with me and the chef" said Chris.
"Yes, you should have believed me at first" said Dave.
"Now we'll move on to the heartbreaking chamalow ceremony" said Chris.
"Wait a minute, there are four marshmallows on the tray, one for each of us" said Duncan.
"Good vision, dude" says Chris.
"Leshawna."
"Gwen."
"Duncan."
You're staying, it was just a reward challenge," Chris said.
"Then we all did it for nothing," said Leshawna.
"No, not Dave," says Chris.
"By the way, everything we have is entrusted to this place and stays here" said Gwen.
"Yes," said Duncan.
"No problem," said Leshawna.

Author's note: We are slowly approaching the end, and I'm happy because it's been a year since I wrote this fanfic. To return to the chapter I decided to end the alliance because for the continuation it would cause me problems
