With explosions, the destroyer squeezed his bony hands into a fist. Deaths are everywhere, the unholy carbon of smoke filling the air, and the pathways were painted with thousands of human intestines like a meat salad mixed with bloody dust and bones that can be seen in a faraway distance. The monsters who inhabit this tortuous kingdom, starved and drowned with insanity dug their sharp claws into the flesh of the fallen human, feasting their hunger. The destroyer has seen it all, this universe is suffering, all because of a maniac creator and his so-called sunshine, boot-licking lapdog.
The deity's Soul let out an anguished scream, begging to end this beyond-fixable world of death, starvation, and insanity. His Soul made a painful twist and turn, guilt clawing his chest so heavily and painfully, tears pouring out as his strings slowly wrapped themselves into the world's code (a non-destructive way of erasing a world) and tightening it until it'll break. The world itself slowly disintegrates, and the monsters whose in the verge of insanity looked at him with relief and happiness. Their suffering is now gone at the hands of their one true, merciful god.
The god himself let out a sigh with his Soul filled with sorrow, he made himself a rift to enter his private quarters, the Anti-Void. Grunted in frustration as the voices slowly yelled out their mindless statements that made the god slowly descend into insanity once again. The destroyer gasped as the bloody, red strings on his neck tightens.
You pathetic little worm, the walls of the womb is still crowded. You cried like a little brat. You don't think, I think. You do the dirty work so that my little boy will be happy...forever.
He can't breathe, tip-toeing as the strings slowly pull his neck upwards. The voices laughed, echoing at his past mistakes. The FATE laughed. Everyone laughed at the poor, battered god. He was raised higher and higher as the being choked for air, pricks of tears were visible on his sockets. His body is getting numb, and his vision slowly fading. He's going to die.
I will always find you, no matter where are you now, you belong to me and nothing else.
Error gasps, hands fly to his neck. The feeling of the strings tightening around his neck felt so real. He closes his eyes, calming his beating heart, wait heart? Error's eyes shot open, he look at his body, and instead of bones, it was pure warm flesh. He stared at his hand, his mind was in shock. Is this his mother's adjustment? Is he reincarnated? Is he going to defeat some demon king or something?
Shaking his head to shrug off the thoughts, there's no time to think such childish things, he blames Epic and Cross for making him sit through all episodes of anime to 'insure' his mental sanity which is not helping at all. He decided to look around, and to his surprise... he was in a medical bay? To him, it's like a medieval style with three hard-to-sleep beds laid with spotless white sheets.
His coat is placed on a wooden chair, indicating that someone saved him from his doom. He sighed and look out the window where sees heavy snow falling from the sky, wondering what to do next since he was in a new world with no ambition nor goal in mind.
Crash!
Error snapped his body into a defensive position, and multiple sharp bones manifested in a blink of an eye. His face morphed into a fierce glare, and let out a low growl.
"Who's there!?" He scanned the area and there was no one there. Error narrowed his eyes and let his magic roam around to find the person. He raises his hand shot with speeding electric blue strings behind the large vase, capturing the sneaking person.
"Ahhhhhh! Help me!" yelled out the deer. The deer kept screaming about him eating the poor monster. An error was left dumbfounded and sighed in annoyance.
"Will you shut up?"
"Eep!"
Finally, he calmed down and analyzed the deer while the talking animal trembled in fear. Error decided to check the deer's soul if it was a foe or friend.
"Check."
The deer looked at him confused about his actions and remained still while dangling in the air. To Error's surprise, he's a good animal that talks even though he doesn't have magic. The fallen god sighed in aspiration.
"I apologize for my actions, little one. For I don't like being sneaked around." Error gently put the animal down on the floor but the deer remain unresponsive. He raises his brow and walks towards the deer and lightly shakes his tiny shoulders.
"...well shit." The deer faints due to fear and Error is slightly panicked. He quickly scooped up the unconscious deer and lay him on one of the unoccupied beds. After that, he sat on the chair where his coat hangs.
"
What's going on here!?" An old lady suddenly busted into the room carrying a large mace. For an old lady, she's kind of strong. Before a misunderstanding could happen, Error quickly explained and apologized to the old lady.
"Maam-"
"Don't 'maam' me! I'm still young!"
"Eh...?"
"What? Are you baffled at my youthfulness?" The old woman flick her hair and posed, making Error deadpan.
"Ma'am, I don't care but please, let me explain.."
The lady huffed and bring down her old mace. Error cleared his throat and straighten his back. "I apologize for any inconvenience, your friend fainted due to extreme...exposure..." The lady narrowed her eyes, not buying Error's statement.
"Exposure...huh?"
"Mhm, yeah."
The air went tense and awkward. Both are staring at each other for a minute. Error is getting more uncomfortable. Before the former deity speaks, the old lady signs and lifts her mace once again.
"You...maybe a suspicious person, but why aren't you laying down? You are still injured!" The old lady aggressively points her finger in front of Error's face, making him cross-eyed. His lips straightened and move away the hand out of his face.
"I'm sorry, I decline."
"You can't decline me, I'm your doctor."
"I've dealt with much more worst injuries, there's nothing I can't handle."
"Don't care, now go to the bed, young man!"
"Y-young man? Human, don't order me—"
"You're young and stupid enough to stay outside in a damn blizzard. Now, get to bed."
"You—"
"Now."
Error groaned and went back to bed with the grump-est face he ever mustered, this is the first time a human (outside Frisk and Chara) somehow challenged him. The old lady seems satisfied and smiled. "Now, it wasn't that hard?" He rolled his eyes and crosses his arms. He's a damn deity for goodness sake. "By the way, my name is Doctor Kureha, but you can call me, Doctrine." She flings her mace on her shoulder and walks back to the door. "That reindeer is my apprentice and he was the one who tend your wounds, treat him well, brat." And then she closes the door.
The deity was stunned, he accidentally attacked his doctor. Well, double shit.
Error sighed and lean back on the stone pillow. This is much nicer than his old home yet he still misses his friends. The bickering between the two commanders, Cross and Dust. The caring yet enthusiastic skeleton, Papyrus. The loud and reckless revolutionary team is guided by Blue. And the loyal but grumpy Nightmare and Co. He misses those days that almost cause another ruckus and wild goose chase due to pranks and schemes. But now, he's here, all alone in a new world where his body morphed into a human figure.
His body is weaker than his original. Barely hold any godly power that he possessed. He has no choice but to stay here and recover, he's been fighting for how long and never had a chance of healing himself due to responsibility but that responsibility is now gone, he might consider traveling this new world without any fear of being hunted down, to be fair, he still wants some fights, not gonna lie.
He saw some movements on the corners of his left eye and look to see the blue-nosed reindeer shaking his head. He stayed silent so that the animal won't panic. Also, his nose looks so cute. "Ugh, where am I...huh, I'm still at the infirmary." His nose is wiggling, he seems to notice the ex-deity. Error swore that he saw the reindeer go from brown fur to pale white sheets. Man, he scares him to death.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to threaten you. I was just confused when I woke up." The reindeer froze up. This is gonna be hard, Error mentally sighed. "I-it's alright. I understand." The animal stuttered, nervously patting down the white sheets as he landed on his hooves from the high bed. "By the way, you're the one who treated my wounds?" The reindeer froze again and slowly turn his little head to Error. "Uh...yeah! What's wrong with that, huh!?" The ex-deity held out his hands in surprise, not expecting the animal to burst out like that.
"I was going to say that you've done a good job of closing my wounds, Doctor." Error smiled at the reindeer and then he didn't expect to see this reaction.
"C-calling me 'Doctor' won't make me happy! You damn jerk~ hehe!" He seems the type of person who doesn't hold their emotions back, Error chuckled at the reindeer's antics, slightly relieved that he didn't completely scare him off. Error reaches to the side to get his coat's pockets and takes out the golden heart locket. He pushes the button on its side and it plays a beautiful song that is played in a music box, Error can't help but closes his eyes and felt the nostalgia washes over him.
"What's that?" Error opened his eyes again and saw the reindeer who is now at the foot of the bed. He's still weary but curiosity bested him. Error can't help but smile softly at the animal, he reminded him of the certain child (that is fated to be doomed in his life), whose curiosity and kindness are his heart. "Well, this is a locket music box. This locket is a symbol of friendship it's a treasure to me because it is a gift from my beloved friend." The reindeer's eyes shone in awe. Both of them fell into silence as they listened to the music box.
"Say...I forgot to ask. What's your name?
"You know you have to introduce yourself? You stupid bastard..."
"Ah, apologies. My name is Error and who said I'm human though?"
"Wait...you're not human?"
"You're not?"
"Yeah."
"By the way, the name is Tony Tony Chopper!"
