I was once weak
Summery: the story of a girl who once wanted to be a hero only to be betrayed by the world at every turn. Her mother and herself abandoned her father almost killed by the man who once she idolized and the boy who once terrorized her every day being praised and called a "hero" it was to much. This is the story of how Izumi Midoriya became the villain "Osore"
A/N: hello all! Sorry it took me a bit to get this out. Lots of action this chapter hope you enjoy it! Also this chapter is a bit longer then normal

Chapter 8
the red haired teen was an unknown to the large man despite his hatred of Osore the man still looked over the files hat each member of the vanguard was given and expected to learn from but he was fairly sure the brat in front of him wasn't among those that he was provided.
"what's your name brat?" asked the blond psychopath.
"what's it to you?" asked the tense red head.
"suit yourself if you don't want to share I'll kill you regardless" the blond hair before lunging at the teen with a fist reared back.
"Kota, get back and find cover!" ordered the red head getting into a standard boxer's stance.
"right!" said the child as he ran to give the teen some space.
"let's see with Mr. Yagi's lessons come in handy here!" said the teen dropping onto his belly as the villain's fist missed him. Taking his chance the boy lunged forward grabbing onto Muscular's muscle fibers that covered the side's of his mid section as crimson arcs of energy coursed around him.
"damn brat!" snarled the villain before bringing a knee up into the teen's gut before swatting the teen away with a back hand sending him into the wall carter that he teen had made using him earlier. Muscular glared as the teen began to chuckle his eyes still holding that annoying defiance that Osore had! Muscular hated it he'd beat it out of him!
"thanks by the way" said the teen with a chuckle.
"what for?" asked the blond.
"for giving me the right angel too pull this off without endangering the kid!" as is on cue the sparks around him faded away and instead steam was coming out of his right arm! "BUNKER SMASH!" shouted the teen as she launched off the wall and brought forth a punch with everything the teen had! The impact caused an explosion of dust and as the dust settled a portion of the cliff was destroyed and Muscular was no where to be seen.
"Hero!" called out the child, Kota as he came out as the red head fell onto his ass panting his right arm felt numb and was hanging limply.
"hey there Kota" said he teen with a big goofy grin.
"are you alright!?" the kid asked worriedly looking at him arm.
"I w-" began the teen before the two of them could hearing chuckling and rocks falling looking to the edge there was Muscular climbing back up onto the cliff and large manic grin on his face!
"HA! Now THAT was a punch!" said the dreaded voice of Muscular as he stood up after climbing back onto the cliff "I almost feel sorry to kill you!" he said lifting up an arm to attack. The red head moved to shield Kota and clenched into eyes ready to receive the attack… only nothing happened? Opening his eyes they widened when a black misty portal had saved them from certain death.
"Thank you Kurogiri" said a new voice. Muscular would withdraw his arm before the warp gate vanished and a girl his age now stood on the mountain cliff.
"What are you doing here?" growled Muscular turning the face the new comer. Did he know her? The redhead could swear she was familiar with long green hair an slim figure she was dressed in a sort of business attire.
"Did you forget this is my operation and I remember everyone I listed are a target" said Izumi she knew she needed to get here quickly. She could overlook many things and she'd indulge people if it benefited her goal. However, she would never let trying to murder a child slide.
"Yeah not my fault these brats got in my way!"
"True but you have been prolonging this with your strength you could have just knocked them out and been on your way, but no you wanted blood" said Izumi her tone cold and unforgiving.
"So what! I was having fun."
"We're here for a job, the capture of the targets and the materials, not fun" her crimson orbs turned to the student and child and she shook her head "This is a distraction, you and chainsaw are meant to cover our retreat"
"So? What you gonna do about it!"
"I warned Shigiraki to keep you on a short leach" sighed Izumi "but since he won't I'll treat you like the rabid animal you are." Izumi putting her mask in place then retrieve a trench knife. "Consider this your expulsion from the League"
"You think you can take me girl!?" shouted the man charging at the teen who effortlessly weaved around the punch and deliver a deep and long slice around the man's arm with her trench knife.
"In fact I do" is all Izumi would say. Each punch Izumi would spin or avoid with out effort and cut the villain after only a few moments Muscular was a bloody mess.
"I'll kill you" barked the man.
"We're done." Izumi would say and with only a few sparks around Izumi as warning she'd end this fight. "Tartarus" both Izumi and muscular would become engulfed in crimson hot flames making the hero and child to gasp is surprise. The flames would recede and vanish with Izumi just having a few burn holes in her clothes meanwhile Muscular was covered almost entirely in third degree burns. "Now consider this a mercy" said Izumi as she took her trench knife plunging it into the man's skull ending him.
"She killed him…" gasped the teen with wide eyes the small boy trembling behind his back having had seen the two villains fight(if it can even be considered that)
"Sorry about having to suffer this fool." Izumi stated as she turned her crimson orbs over towards the hero. Their eyes meeting. "It seems my search for All might's successor has ended" said the girl making the red head's eyes to widen. "however I didn't think I wouldn't be a hero course student."
"How-"
"You shouldn't ask things like that so casually" said the greenette "When this is over you should ask All might to tell you about how it was born" with this a figure stepped out of a shadow to stand next to the villain
"Osore, are you still in need of my services this evening?" questioned the scarred man.
"Yes" said Izumi removing her mask "go to Mustard, make sure no one disturbs him, the gas is needed"
"Why? Why are you doing this!?" the successor demanded. Izumi would look at him and motion for Ibiki to take his leave.
"I doubt you'd believe me, but my reasons are not much different from you and your class. I wish too see a better world, Heroes and lawful people can only do so much to achieve that, that is where I come in, I'll do what the rest of you won't" explained Izumi retrieving her phone she dialed a number "Kurogiri, I'm ready." with that she put her phone away as a warp gate opened "I'm looking forward to seeing you reach your potential."
Spinner cursed as he leapt back to avoid an attack from the remaining female of the pussy cat heroes. His eyes shifted to where the students where struggling against the Nomu one such student was a small child with odd purple growths on his head the kid was slumped against a tree with large wells of wear as he held a vicious attack across his abdomen.
"Mandalay!" shouted a voice, looking to the source she spotted the general studies student who had escaped the clearing much earlier, Spinner narrowed at the boy. He came in and landed a powerful kick to the Nomu knocking ff balance, taking this chance the students made a run for it!
"Kota is safe!" the brunette stated upon hearing that the hero Spinner has been fighting seemed too relax as though a burden had been lifted from her. "I also got a message from Aizawa-sensei!"
"what is it?" asked Mandalay.
"the student's are authorized to use their quirks and defend themselves!"
'it's just as Midoriya predicted' thought the lizard man as he tightened his grip on his large sword.
"there's also additional info I have! I know one of their targets!" upon the red head saying his made the villains in the clearing to tense up "it's Bakugo!"
"Roger, message and info relayed!" Mandalay announced.
"I'm going to go help everyone out!" the red head stated turning to start his sprint.
"I'm going too stop you!" stated Magne as she moved to intercept the student and no doubt kill him.
"sorry sister Magne!" Spinner said as he halted her progress via a knife thrown in her path! "That child is not among the hero students so he is off limits"
"he's a threat to the plan!" Magne shouted moments before receiving a sucker punch courtesies of Tiger. Having just a second to respond Spinner avoided the sucker punch Mandalay had aimed at him.
"Spinner, Magne" Dabi's voice sounded over the ear pieces that the duo had "We're moving onto phase two so get moving." ordered Dabi
"Kinda in a bind here Dabi" hissed the lizard man.
"Don't worry about them" said Dabi as the Nomu got up off the ground no worse for wear despite having received a quirk powered blow earlier it's head turning towards the heroes. "They'll be busy"
"FINALLY!" shouted Tetsutetsu as he along with his two classes ran thru the gas enshrouded forest as they heard Mandalay's message via her telepathy quirk. "Now I can smash the villain's face without getting in trouble!"
"Hang on Tetsu" called out Kendo as the group came to a stop. "we're wasting time pointlessly running around like this"
"Kendo is right eventually these filter's will run out and then we'll be sitting ducks" agreed Shoda with a nod.
"Then whats your bright idea on how to find the guy?" questioned the muscle brained student.
"Simple if this gas is spreading outwards then it all has to come from a singular point" rationalized Kendo
"So if we find that point, we'll find the villain!" Tetsu deducted.
"Exactly, we just need to find it"
"Then I'll punch him!" Tetsutetsu's exclaim getting exasperated looks from his classmates.
"Seems UA's students aren't as hopeless as they seemed" murmured Mustard his voice modulated by the German styled helmet he wore he stroked his chin as he could feel the students moving thru the gas. "Sadly they fail to meet expectations" sighed the boy as he reached into his coat "Isn't that right Failure!" with that Tetsu came out the thick mist with a fist reared back onto to be met with a metallic revolver that was fired twice into the metal clad student making him fall back holding his face. 'seems it is metal Midoriya's insistence on testing that paid off' thought the boy ducking as a large fist made a swing at him
"So close!" said the red head as he masked by back up too create space between himself and the two students.
"That you where Itsuka Kendo, by all means the shining gem of UA's class 1-B" said mustard keeping his revolver trained on the girl. "You already have the interest on my superior, after all not many made it on the no kill list" said the boy. "But your just a blunt brute no different then your friend here"
"Screw you!" shouted the metal teen's muffled vice thru his hand that was clamped over his mouth and nose.
"I only speak the truth, you think I can't feel the movement you make thru my gas?" asked the by as he shifted the gun and made a shoot receiving a yelp. As the gas thinned out a moment later it showed and unharmed Shoda.
"Now this is annoying." sighed armed boy "If it was two no bodies I could just kill you and be done with it and capture the target but instead it's two no kills." sighed Mustard.
"Better sure of yourself aren't you, kid?" asked Tetsutetsu.
"Easy to be when your surrounded by idiots" Mustard answered as Tetsutetsu lunged forward only to crash down onto the ground. "seems the sedative in the gas is starting to affect you" said Mustard smugly as Tetsutetsu's vision began too become blurry.
"What did you do to our friend!?" demanded an angered Kendo.
"Nothing harmful the gas is just faster acting when near metal" stated the boy "smart idea with the masks they'll slow the effects of the gas but alas its only temporary."
"It seems safe to say you know what we're capable of?" asked Shoda.
"Trying to distract me with talk so you can find an opening?"
"Something like that" said Shoda.
"Annoying" said Mustard aiming at Shoda and firing his revolver only for the bullet too be intercepted by Tetsutetsu!
"Don't underestimate us!" shouted Kendo making to try and grab the boy with her enlarged hands who narrowly avoided the attempt.
"That was too close" said Mustard feeling that Tetsutetsu and Shoda were unmoving he decided to focus on the redhead. "Didn't I mention that I can feel your movement through my gas!"
"It doesn't matter if you can tell how we're moving!" shouted Kendo enlarging her other hand turning to face Mustard earning a scoff from the younger teen.
"Don't think you've won just cause you declared it idiot!" exclaimed Mustard retreating into the thick gas and out of sight.
"Your right! Words alone won't do it!" Kendo agreed and she began waving her hand around displacing the flow of the gas.
"Damn it! She's blowing the gas away! Just how much power does she have in those hands!" cursed Mustard.
"Now Shoda!" shouted Kendo alerting Mustard that her couldn't tell what direction the short teen was going too be coming from. In desperation he took aim at the head head only to be interrupted my a first to the side of the mask of his helmet followed by a second impact in the exact same spot knocking Mustard off his feet and making him lose his mask.
"Got him!" celebrated Shoda as the gas was clearing out now.
"Now I can see why miss Osore asked me to come here" said the distorted voice as a man stepped out of the shadow of a tree dressed in a black trench coat turtle neck sweater and cargo pans his head obstructed by a sleek black helmet with three lines that make a triangle where the face should be. "Mustard get up and get moving with the target" ordered Ibiki as an unconscious Tetsutetsu came out of a shadow further back.
"Fine." said Mustard in a defeated tone getting up shooting the two students a resentful glare before quickly dragging the unconscious student from the fight.
"Your not taking out friend!" announced Kendo.
"I'm afraid you'll be to preoccupied with me to interfere!" said the made as tendrils and hands of pure darkness formed out of the shadows all around them.
"Damn it!" shouted an enraged blond as the Todoroki teen continued to create ice walls to block the metallic blades that attempted to reach them. "How can this get worse!" as if on cue they could hear as be the forest being torn apart and the sound getting closer! Looking in the direction of the destruction they saw the red haired student on the back of the hairy beast that was Jurota Shishida of 1-B.
"Katsuki! We need an explosion here!" the red head shouted as the shadowy monstrosity that was Tokoyami's quick dark shadow burst out of the tree line
"Right on it!" stated Todoroki before being stopped by the blond.
"Hold on for a second will ya?" Bakugo said with a vicious grin as the villain was mumbling something before he tired stabbing dark shadow to have zero effect and was grabbed and thrown around like a rag doll before being thrown harshly into a tree.
"I HAVEN'T HAD ENOUGH FUN YET!" roared dark shadow only to instantly be put into its place via the combined quirk use of Todoroki's flames and Bakugo's explosion.
"You alright bird face?" asked the vicious blond.
"Yeah… Sorry…Thanks for saving me" said the bird headed student between pants.
"You guys get the message?" asked the red head as he looked towards the blond of the group.
"Yeah we are, Extra" huffed the blond
"Then I suggest we all return to camp as a group" stated Jurota now in his human form.
"Agreed" said Todoroki with a nod.
"Fine, I'll play along" growled Bakugo with a brooding glare at his classmates
"Ojiro!" shouted the panicked voice a a green haired students as a blond boy with a long and thick tail narrowly avoided an attacked from a blond teen that was around their age. The girl in question had light blond hair tied into a pair of buns, here clothing was a high school sailor uniform with a sweater shirt on but the additions was made the two students cautious her lower face had a matte black mask with a pair of tubes that attached to a pair of canisters on her hips and near those was holsters housing several knives.
"She must be one of the villains" said the tailed teen identified as Ojiro as he placed himself in a combat stance
"Who are you?" asked the greenette student.
"Hm? I'm Toga, and your Tsuyu Asui and Mashiro Ojiro" said he blond point at them as she said their name.
"She knows our names" stated Ojiro.
"Maybe from the sports festival?" hypothesized Asui. "regardless she knows who we are putting us at a disadvantage"
"There's not enough blood" sighed the blond examining the blood on her knife from when she had surprise attacked the duo "regardless Izu's device will help with that" said the blond placing the knife into one of the clear sheaths on her holster the blood on the knife being sucks off the blade and thru a tube to one of the canisters on her hip. She would retrieve another pair of knives from her holster and ready then with looking at the students "Izu is always tell me to be efficient!" she said and she charged at the pair!
"Ojiro!" said the frog girl her long tongue wrapping around the blond boy and tossing him behind her "run for the camp I'm sure that's what Mr. Aizawa meant when he gave us permission to use our quirks!" said the girl dodging a thrust from the blond villain her knife grazing the frog's tongue!
"Tsu!" shouted the tailed student.
"Tsu?…Tsu?…Tsu!" said the blond as if trying out the nickname in her mouth. "What a cute nickname! I decided that's what I'm gonna be calling you" said the blond gushing.
"Don't!" replied the greenette as she distance herself from the blond bracing herself. "the only people I want calling me that are the ones I want t be friends with."
"Awe your just like Izumi both of you not wanting to be my friends" said the blond pouting behind her mask. "Oh well I made Izu my friend I'm sure I can get you to be as well" she the blond lunging towards the greenette who jumped back making Toga grin before tossing a knife the blade pinning the frog girl to a tree via her knife thru her hair.
"Tsu!" called out Ojiro running towards her friend.
"Oh! your bleeding Tsu! You're so cute. I LOVE blood!" said the blond getting into the pinned girls personal space.
"Get away from her!" shouted the blond in rage. The blond reacting made from a stab only for him to avoid the the attack and grabbing her by the wrist the other hand grabbing the back of the blond's neck she slammed her into the ground and brought is knee down hard onto the blond's arm causing a snap to be heard followed by the girl's scream of pain…and pleasure? The knife in her captured hand dropping as the blond girl looked up at the tailed student with an intense blush on her face freaking out the teen boy.
"Oh that was just wonderful Mashiro~" said the blond in a sing song tone.
"Riiight" said the disturbed blond boy before turning to his friend "Tsu you al-" began Ojiro before shouting in pain as he felt a sharp pain looking down he saw a knife in his leg. The sudden pain making the boy lose his grip taking advantage of this Toga slams the back of her head into his face knocking him off balance allowing Toga to escape his hold. Toga making distance is about to go on the attack when she spots in in coming group of UA student.
"Toga, where are you?" questioned the voice of Dabi from her earpiece.
"Fine" sighed the blond as she retreated from the students.
"Ojiro, Tsuyu!" called out the red head of the large group of students.
"Tachi, good to see your alright" said the tailed blond.
"We're getting Bakugo back to the camp's main structure" said the dual toned teen.
"Then shouldn't he be with you?" questioned the frog girl.
"Wait what!?" said a surprised red head. Looking back they took notice that both Katsuki Bakugo and Fumikagi Tokoyami where gone.
"Sorry for the lack of showmanship children" said a man dressed like a circus ring leader with a mask in place. "but our illustrious Osore has need of these two, after all great showmen need a grand stage for their talents to show do they not?"
"It seems you are running late are you not?" questions the voice of Kurogiri as he exited a warp gate before him was several members of the vanguard squad with the missing members being Muscular, Toga, Moonfish, the Nomu as well as Mr. Compress.
"Primary target acquired, in route" came Compress' vice of the radio along with what sounded like ice?
"Hm, Compress is in route and Toga should be where soon as well." said Dabi pocketing his hands.
"Double O me is in position/Shall be give them the big finale!?" questioned Twice.
"Yes, sounds like Compress will have company with him so the last thing we need is eraser or Vlad too interfere."
On cue they could hear Compress's voice from above as he crashes into the ground with a trio of students on top of him. The students in question were Jurota Shishida, quirk: beast, class 1-B, Shoto Todoroki, quirk: half ht half cold, class 1-A and the last was a red head student that Dabi didn't recognize.
"Wait, I know these kids!/but who is he!?" said Twice pointing towards the red head. It was at this moment Toga arrived at the area to see the display.
"Compress watch it!" ordered the leader of the vanguard as he launched a wave of blue flames toward the group. On cue compress used his quirk on himself. Partially hitting the unknown and the fur clad students while the Todoroki avoided it all together as the flame died out returning to himself compress moved to stand beside his comrades.
"C'mon king Vlad we got to go help the others" exclaimed the red head of class 1-A Eijiro Kirishima. "you heard Mr. Aizawa's message!"
"He didn't mean you" stated the large white haired man that was the homeroom teacher of class 1-B. as if on cue a door slamming open could be heard. Hearing this the students in the class room along with Vlad king braced themselves only for more of the students to crash into the room. "Vlad help!" called out as they rushed into the room. Vlad placing himself between the students and the door was ready as the visage of Dabi rounded the corner as readied a flame attack.
"Everyone back!" shouted the pro using his quirk blood control to made a wall of hardened blood to block the flames as the students moved towards the back of the room. Dabi would enter and ready another attack but was interrupted by a fist from Vlad King into the wall the hero would then use his quirk to encase the hero in hardened blood.
"You walk into my class room without so much as a plan? You underestimate us!" stated Vlad King as he glares at the villain.
"You say there's no plan here? That we underestimate you?" Dabi scoffed as small blue flames ignited on him. "I'm afraid your the ones who under estimate us…Isn't that right Shrike?"
"Quite right, Dabi" said the deep voice behind the students making the heroes eyes widen and look back too see the appearance of the villain with a grasp on the sole member of 1-B Neito Monoma.
"Dabi secondary target acquired!" said the villain
"Vlad get him!" commanded the vice of Aizawa as he came into the class room.
"Right!" replied the hero.
"Mr. Vlad!" called out the blond.
"Lady Osore sends her regards" said Shrike as he and the blond melted into the shadow in the corner of the room. Vlad's fist hitting nothing but the wall the shadow laid upon. Then as if on cue the Dabi they had melted into nothing more then mud.
"We're done here" said Dabi and he nods to Kurogiri. "Twice, Nomu keep them busy"
"Right!/Lets go!" said Twice as he ran at the dual toned Todoroki.
"The a Nomu!?" shouted the red head and as if on cue a chainsaw revved up behind him rolling the the side he witnessed the blade arm of a Nomu gouging out the spot he had stood previously.
"Chikao! Todoroki! We don't have to fight!" called out the fur clad member of 1-B. saying this got Compress' attention despite not looking worried. "I might not know what his quirk is, but inside that right pocket of his were these" the student pulling out two marbles "Our comrades Tokoyami and Bakugo. Right entertainer?"
"Right on Shishida!" said en elated Chikao.
"Oho, that didn't take you very long!" said compress almost sounding joyful.
"Right lets go!" said Todoroki using ice to ensnare the Nomu and Twice and the two began their retreat.
"Moron" Dabi said dismissively readying an attack only to be stopped by compress.
"No. Wait." On cue portals opened up near all the villains in the clearing.
"We're not leaving without the Bakugo kid" Dabi said firmly as many member began retreating thru the portals.
"Oh that? No worries dear leader, they seemed so happy I thought I'd let him celebrate" said Compress from behind Dabi. "It's a habit, one of the basics of magic." began the villain as he removed his mask and hat. "When I flaunt something, its because there's something I don't want you too see." with this her opened his mouth revealing the marbles containing the two students he then snapped revealing the marbles the trio has was just ice.
"My ice!?" said Todoroki in surprise.
"Right!" with this Dabi and compress began their retreat through the portal.
"STOP!" shouted the red head. As compress turned around and bowed.
"and now that's all from me-" began the villain onto to be blasted from the find by a laser. Off to the side from where the laser came was Yuga Aoyama of class 1-A! the surprise making Compress cough and lose the marbles in his mouth! As thew students lung too grab them!
Jurota was able to take hold of the marble containing Tokoyami has as Todoroki was seconds away from Bakugo's marble Dabi came and swiped it.
"Sorry little brother not this time" said Dabi with a smirk as he vanished through the portal as it closed leaving the students alone in the clearing.
