"Today is such a good day," I look over towards the sun, right now I'm high up near a cliff. It felt good here, I could stay here all day. That I would say if this wasn't a dream.

Since childhood, I seemed to have good control over my dreams. I never really knew why, most of the time I never forget what happens in my dreams.

Most of the time I don't dream of anything, but sometimes, like this time I dream of stuff that I could easily control. Most people don't have any sense to control their dreams, but somehow I can.

Every time I dream, I try to dream of nice sceneries or do stuff, things that I wouldn't be able to do in the real world. It felt nice.

"Hehe.." I heard some giggling, which sounded like Mabel. I blinked for a moment. Everything was dark, I seemed to be waking up.

I try to open my eyes, blinking to get used to the light. I woke up to some unfamiliar ceiling, with my body aching all over. Probably slept wrong. I look in front of me at least I see some familiar faces.

"Dipper..? Mabel..? Ugh..." I had a sudden headache just from speaking, "Where am I..?" I asked the twin.

"You're in the Shack silly! Boop!" She then proceeds to pokes my nose. She's right I.. remember now I fell asleep in the couch. We were watching some shows and I fell asleep. I was so tired from yesterday that I barely had time to sleep.

I looked at the twin, I just noticed it, but Mabel uses different sweaters everyday, unlike her brother. This day she has a sweater with an alpaca in the middle.

"Hehehe.." She giggles, "Good morning, Will!"

"Good morning..?" I say confused, behind Mabel was Dipper, he was snickering, "What are you laughing about?" I cross my arm.

"Nothing..." He said letting out a few small laughs.

"Is there something on my face..?" I put my hands on my face, trying to get out whatever Dipper was laughing about. I look at my hand, Ink... "Not funny."

I got up from my seat and headed towards the bathroom, leaving the twins alone in the living room. "It was Dipper!" Mabel screams blaming her brother.

"What? It was your idea Mabel!" The twins argue while laughing a little.

I went up the stairs because the bathroom was on the second floor. I entered and closed the door behind me, I looked into the mirror. There were scribbles on my face. There was a cat's face on my left cheek, with the words Adorkable! That was probably Mabel. On my other cheek was, "I 'heart' M". I would assume Dipper put that, which I have no clue what meant.

The doorbell rang, I wonder who's at the door at this time. Well before that, I have to get rid of these scribbles on my face. I'll seriously get the twins back for this. I opened the faucet and washed my face. Fortunately, it was easy to rid of the ink, took a few more washes to fully get rid of it.

I turned off the water and left the bathroom. I headed down the stairs, no one was at the door so I went towards the living room. Dipper was still there he was sitting at the table drinking water, "Not cool man." I cross my arm.

Dipper turned towards me, "Oh, Hey Will! Sorry man had to do it, heh.." He shrugs, "Besides Mabel had the idea!"

I approach him and took a seat at the other chair, "Uh-huh sure... Where's Mabel anyways? She was just here a while ago."

"She went and had a look to see who's at the door," he explains, "Then she said she was going out, I have no clue where though."

"Oh.. okay, by the way, what was that book you were reading when we were at the lake?" I remembered him reading something. It told Dipper that there was a cave behind a waterfall.

"Oh uh... T-That was.." He stammers turning his gaze away from me, is he hiding something from me?

"C'mon man was it? Hmmm?" Now I'm really curious.

"I-.. Uh, I guess it's fine.." He takes something out from his vest, it was the book. I don't even know how he can fit that book in his small vest.

"Whoa.. What's that?" I look at the journal, It has a red cover a hand in the middle- but instead of a normal five-finger hand, there was six- with a number three on the middle.

"It's journal number 3, I found it in the woods when we were hammering the signs." So that's why he was being weird at the time and both of them went up as soon as we got to the shack, "It tells you everything about Gravity Falls, all the weird stuff happening... Everything."

He opened the book and we looked through it. It had everything, from those gnomes that they battled, to zombies, fairies, unicorns. Mostly everything that shouldn't exist.

"This is crazy..." I was amazed at the book. It even has all the details you need to know about them, "Well not as crazy as experiencing them anyways."

"Yeah.. but the book says to never trust anyone..." He said showing me a page. I guess the weirdness of Gravity Falls got more mysterious than before... "And half of the book is empty though.. The pages it just stops, it's like-.. the author mysteriously disappeared."

A missing author.. We need to figure this out at some point, "Do you wanna go monster hunting?" I am now curious, the mystery of Gravity Falls. Why is it that all the weirdness comes from this town.

Dipper was giving it some thought, "Hmm... Sure, got nothing to do anyways, besides Mabel left me to do some other stuff," he stands up from his chair, "Let's get ready first."

"Yep, sure." I stood up from my chair, I was ready anyway, I didn't need to bring anything because all my stuff is at my house. Well.. except for my phone, I do know 'some' self-defense it might come in handy...

"So where are we going again?" I looked at Dipper as we walked through the forest. It wasn't that dark since it was around the afternoon right now. Unless it gets dark, I brought my flashlight with me.

"Uh.. It's very close by, it's another part of the forest." He points to a direction in front of us, "The book said it was a magical forest, so I'm hoping we could spot some monsters there."

"This is so epic man!" I was so excited at this point, "You never get to this type of thing anywhere, you don't even get to imagine places like these would exist!"

"Yeah! The mystery is so interesting, makes me want to uncover everything," He agrees, "Good thing I have a mystery buddy that I could go monster hunting with!" He looks at me.

"Same to you," We fist bump.

He is really easy to get along with and fun also. Wonder if Mabel is the same, maybe I could go monster hunting with her, or maybe both of them.

"By the way, we should invite your sister some time," I look at him, "I mean.. next time we go on a monster-hunting adventure."

"That could be nice," He looks forward so that he wouldn't trip and fall, the roots of the trees, seemed to be getting a little bit bigger, "The more people the merrier I guess, just don't get distracted if we bring her okay?" He laughs at his joke.

I didn't get it, "I'm the least person to be distracted, c'mon" I humor him a bit.

We walked for about half an hour. Talking about more nerdy stuff.

"We're here," Dipper points out, It was obvious when you look at it, the forest in this area seemed darker against the dense forest. Yet it's still so bright because there seems to be glowing stuff around. We didn't know what the stuff was so we avoided it.

It looks so beautiful here compared to the other part of the forest. The trees seemed to have bigger roots.

We headed forward, "This is just.. beautiful," The scenery was awe striking.

Dipper looks around more, "Yeah.. Let's just hope there's no other creatures here," The next moment after he said that, a loud roar came from across us.

"You jinxed it, dude.." I gulp, whatever made that roar we needed to avoid.

"Uh... Let's hide!" He went to one of the huge trees and hid behind there, I follow him, hiding behind the same tree as him. Few seconds later, the thing that made the noise came out.

I look at Dipper, "Use your book to find out what the heck that thing is.." I whisper to him.

He takes out his book from his vest, he flips through the pages finally landing on the creature in front of us, "It says... It's a Gremloblin a combination of Gremlin and Goblin. When fighting a Gremloblin, use water... only as last resort as water will make it much much scarier," Who writes sentences like that?

There wasn't much description of the monster. I looked towards it, it was huge, he has red glowing eyes with no pupil. He has green skin and mushrooms on his shoulders. Quite terrifying unlike its name.

I tap Dipper on the shoulder, "Let's get out of here...!" I whisper to him gesturing to the trail where we came from.

We quietly sneak away from the area. Unfortunately.. a branch breaks making a sound that alerted him.

He looks in our direction and roars.

"Run!" I scream at Dipper as I drag him out of there.

We are now running for our lives. There was still a few hundred meters of distance between us, so we're good for now.

Since we were much slower, it was starting to catch up to us. We were finally out of the magical Forest.

A minute of running, we were getting tired and the monster was closing in on us. We had to do something before we become monster food.

I looks behind us, the monster was probably a hundred meters away from us. Out of nowhere, a sound of an eagle came from the sky.

The footsteps of the monster seemed to disappear as it roars and was replaced with the flapping of wings.

I looks behind and I saw something flying, I dragged Dipper to a bush, hiding from another creature. I look behind us. The monster that was chasing us grew wings and flew away.

The creature that made the eagle noise landed on an open area. I look at it.

It was a beast, I've seen this before in mythologies. A griffin; its body, legs, and tails is a lion, while it has the talon, wings, and head of an eagle.

I look at it with amazement and even Dipper looked surprised. I can't believe I'm seeing something that is supposed to be a myth. I guess anything is possible in Gravity Falls.

We were still exhausted from all the running, because of this I accidentally fell on my butt and made some rustling sound, "Shi-.."I quickly shut my mouth with my hands.

It looks in our direction, I stop myself from making sounds. It walks in our direction.

We were probably holding our breath at this point just terrified hoping we get out of here.

Luckily more bushes rustling came from behind the Griffin. A few moments later a deer came out of the bush.

Before the deer even had the chance to figure out what's going on. The Griffin seemed to have swooped towards the deer, it was fast alright...

With its sharp talons, the deer die as the talons dug deep into the poor deer's body. I'm just glad that wasn't us.

The deer's body plops down towards the ground, the Griffin sits on the ground as it starts to eat the deer.

"This is our chance... Let's get out of here.." I whisper to Dipper. We sneaked out of the bush, this time not making any kind of noise.

It was quite busy so I would expect it to just leave us alone.

After gaining distance away from the Griffin we started to walk. We didn't want to run since we were still tired. Besides this side of the forest is mostly safe by now.

"That was.. intense," I look at Dipper, he looks all ragged up. Clothes are a little torn, but not much, just a little dirty. Same for me, my clothes are dirty. Both of us on the other hand, were unscathed.

Dipper lets out a deep breath of relief, "Yeah man that was wayyyy too close," he lets out some few deep breaths, "I need a long rest after this."

"Yeah, same dude same.." Not only rest but also a shower.

Right now the sun is still high above the sky meaning it's still around the afternoon, we have to get back before it gets too dark.

"Finally home!" I look in front of us, the good ol' Mystery Shack. It only took us about half an hour to get home, we didn't get lost or anything. It just took a while to talk all the way home.

"Yes! I can rest finally!" I can see that Dipper is very tired. Legs probably numb from walking.

We enter the Mystery Shack from the back porch. We open the door, no one seemed to be in the living room.

Dipper gravitates towards the couch as he lays down, while I just lay down on the floor, not comfortable but it will do, just needed to lay down.

"That was fun Dipper," I lay face up towards the ceiling, "Dangerous, but still fun."

Dipper lets out a small laugh at this while still laying down, "Yeah definitely.. we should do it again sometime if you're down."

"Yeah absolutely, just give me a heads up when you want to," the only problem I have is workdays. I wanted to still earn money so I got to at least work in the Mystery Shack for now.

I hear the back door open, the door that we came from. Footsteps enters the living room, I couldn't make it out due to the fact I was still looking in the ceiling.

"What's up Dipper! Will!" A voice said, which sounded like Mabel.

"Where you've been Mabel? and what's up with those fingernails?"

"Oh, I was just hanging around with my new friend Gideon," Wait... That little guy..? I've heard of that name before, It was from that tent of telepathy. I went there on my first week here. The guy was small and creepy, that's why I never came back there.

"Mabel, I don't trust anyone whose hair is bigger than their head."

I laugh at Dipper's comment, "I also don't trust the guy, just my opinion. He's very creepy."

"See even Will thinks he's creepy." He was also mysterious, the little dude seemed to be able to control the townspeople at the show. Gives me shivers.

I sat up feeling a little rested, I look at Mabel. She was wearing pink lipsticks, with rosy pink spots on her cheeks. She also has long pink fingernails. She seemed to have wavy hair now with a pink bow on top, "Whoa.. Nice look Mabel, it's cute," I comment.

Her pink cheeks somehow became a little red. "Thanks Will! Uh... You both look great too?" Doubt that comment, we were very dirty and clothes a little torn, "Wait a second, how about you guys? Where did you go?"

"Uh.. Just monster hunting?" He shrugs.

Mabel crosses her arms, "Without me?" She pouts.

"Well.. that's because you were gone!" Dipper argues.

She thinks for a moment, "Well.. yeah... Next time I'm coming with you guys though!"

"That's fine, the more the merrier," I replied.

I can tell the next adventure is gonna be a whole lotta fun.. and dangerous of course.
