"Welp.. Time to head out." I say as the clock rings loudly- signifying that our shift was over once again.

Wendy- the only person with me right now at the gift shop. "You going somewhere?" She asked.

I turn to her, she seems to be leaving also- probably to hang out with her other friends. "I guess yeah.. Just going to explore more of Gravity Falls."

"Really? Again? My friends and I are going to hang out. You should just come with us- pretty dangerous out there."

"Hm... Maybe next time. Besides... it's part of the adventure! Ya gotta take a little risk from time to time." I chuckle, maybe I was too confident.

"What do you even do there?" She says curiously.

I can't really say my reason to her yet... "It's just exploring when I'm boreeeed." I shrug, I can't say that I hang out with a griffin yet... Well yes- I do sometimes go to the forest just to befriend the griffin. It's just so coooool. Can't let this chance pass by."Let's hang out another time."

She gets her stuff and says, "Sure dude. It's already noon so you better be back before it gets dark." She lightly punch my arm- a sign of affection I'd say, "See ya!" She then proceeds to leave the shack after waving goodbye.

"Have fun!" I reply and waved back. She's right though. It's noon- I don't wanna come home late or my mom would kill me...

I leave the shack and turn to the forest. It might seem dangerous but when I have nothing to do I go meet up with my friend. I wanna introduce him to the twins.. but they seem to have gone somewhere.. so that's that I guess.

I entered the forest for quite a while now. I always go to that spot where I met him. There's really nothing better than appreciating nature.

I take a deep breath, "Ah.. Fresh air. It beats the city air. Maybe I should come back here with my other friends.."

I remembered my friends again, every time I remember them I just frown. It really is sad to leave my friends. Though sometimes I can talk to them on the phone- but I'd really rather see them in person.

I can say that I'm really lost in thought, "Ah-!" I tripped and rolled down a small hill for a moment before my body stopped. "I should- really- look where I'm going-.. Ugh..." That was a rough landing.

I looked at where I landed, there were crystals all over the place. "Woah... Never been to this part of the forest before..." The trees were definitely thicker here. There was only a little light getting through the trees. The crystals were enough to lit the area though.

At the center was a large crystal few feet bigger than me. Light was shining off it- reflecting two different colors- pink and blue, from different sides. Conveniently a butterfly flies through the pink one and it becomes smaller, "Woah... I gotta stop repeating myself-.." The butterfly flies through the blue one and it became a few feet larger and flies away. "That looks so cool.."

I approached it carefully not to touch the light, "This is definitely a good souvenir!" I took one of the smaller pieces off the ground. "Good thing I'm prepared!" I take out my flashlight and attach it to the top.

I opened the flashlight and the light became blue. I looked around me trying to find something to try it on... "There!"

Somewhere on the ground was a snail. I tried the blue light and it definitely became bigger. Almost the size of a car. It probably got spooked because it went back into its shell. "Wonder if you could try to ride a snail... would that be slow?" I give it some thought, pretty sure I saw some show where they can ride a snail... "Meh. Probably some other universe."

I turn off the flashlight and turned the crystal around and opened the flashlight again. Yep, it was pink now. I pointed it towards the snail and it became smaller. This seems rather.. dangerous. I turned it off and detached the crystal temporarily. "Wouldn't want that turning on now do we..."

I made it out of that part of the forest and continued my search.

Finally, half an hour later I found the area again. Might have gotten lost a few times- but hey! I made it, that's all that matters.

I entered the clearing and sat back down. My griffin friend wasn't here so... I whistled loud enough for him to probably hear. He's usually near the area so he'll probably hear it. A few minutes later I hear flapping and I looked over above me to see him above the trees.

He lands in front of me. He usually understands human language.. so he easily understood the gesture, I approach him, "Dusk!" I hug him in the neck, "You are so coooool!" He seems rather fond of me now- he recognizes me as a friend!

He sat and I took out some treats and gave him some. I sat beside him just chilling while eating some food as well. I gave him most of my food and he started to eat most of it.

I was laying on him because I had nowhere else to lay on.

It was comfy. Like a bed...

I started to become sleepy.

"Ugh... Where am I?" I opened my eyes my body feeling a bit heavy- I looked around me. Of course... I fell asleep.. again.

I sat back up- Oh yeah. I was with Dusk. Where is he? I looked around trying to find him. I closed my eyes trying to rid of this headache of mine. It worked- a few moments later I feel so much lighter now. I don't even feel the ground anymore.

"Okay, It's time to go home!" I said as I open my eyes. I looked around me.. I seemed to be... Floating- only a few feet above the ground. I panicked and I fell on the ground-"Ouch-.. Oh, wait it doesn't hurt." I got up back on my feet. "Is this a dream..?" I ask myself. This is definitely a dream. Usually, I don't get hurt when I'm dreaming.

I guess I just have to wait until I wake up. Before I could sit back down- I sense someone's presence behind me. I looked over. There was a guy- He was wearing a blue sweater with black polo underneath and black pants. He had blue hair and he had an eyepatch on the left side and his right eye was blue.

He doesn't seem to notice me. "Hello!" I yelled in his direction. He didn't hear me either. He turns and walks to the mountains. "Hey! Wait for me!" I said as I get up to follow him.

I tried to run towards him, but somehow he was even faster than me even by walking. The more I ran the more he seemed even farther. "Wait.. This is my dream I'll just follow him by flying! Duh!" I facepalm myself.

I think of flying and soon enough I was flying towards him slowly. Minutes later he seemed to have found what he was looking for. Large trees and foliage were blocking it.

It was a door made of stone that completely blends in with the mountain it was attached on. The door was around twice my size. There was a hand-shaped hollow in the middle of the door.

His hands glows blue like fire and he reaches his right hand towards the hollow part of the door.

A few moments passed- I thought nothing would happen, but the door lit up with blue like fire and it splits open from the middle. I was on the side so I didn't see the inside- very unfortunate. He then proceeds to enter the room. I tried to follow him, but before I could approach it- the door closes behind him.

I was now in front of the door. "Now... What do we have here-?" I looked closer and the hollow part of the door was surrounded by a somewhat subtle triangle. I looked at where he put his hand, "Hmm.. Do I dare try to put my hand there?"

Not much thought was really put in it, "Eh. What's the worse that could happen? The world would end?" I laugh at my joke before stopping myself.

"Well here goes nothing.." I dramatically put my hand in it. I waited and waited- nothing happened. "Well.. that was disappointing." I look at my right hand, "What happened with his hand a while ago...?" His hand was glowing blue like a flame at that time.

I was still looking at my hand intently- my right eye started to feel a burning sensation, before I knew it my hand sparked with blue flames. "Woah..." I say with awe. It felt hot- but it didn't burn. Kinda feels warm. Why am I not panicking? I don't know either.

I look at the door again- thinking if this is worth it. "Oh yeah.. This is just a dream."

"Well.. here we go..." I put my hands in it yet again. A moment later the door lit up with blue flames- it was warm. After the flames died down the door started to open again. I back away a few feet as it fully opens.

The door leads to a cave. It was just a normal cave, but it felt really ominous to me.. On the farther cave walls- there were writings in it. I instinctively went inside the cave to get closer.

"Hello...? Are you in h-..." Before I could ask and try to find the guy who was just here. I became dizzy. My eyes started to become wobbly.

"Woah...!" I tried to go forward but I tripped and fell on the cold ground. Then everything became a blur.

"AHH!" I jolted up with my heart racing. I looked around me- I was back from my dream. "What the heck was that?" I was still on the same spot I accidentally fell asleep on. Dusk is still here, she tilted her head and was looking at me a little concerned.

"Oh.. Sorry." I pet her in the head. "Just had a little nightmare." I started to get up.

I look towards my hand again.. It still felt so warm- my right eye started to heat up again- it didn't hurt but it felt weird. Then, my hand sparked with blue flames again. "WOAH!" I waved my hand trying to put it out. The flame died moments later. "T-This isn't a dream right?"

Last time it was a dream- that was totally fine but.. This is real life right? "There's one way to test this.." I pinch myself in the arm- "OUCH!" I stopped pinching and rubbed my arm, "Okay.. This seems real.."

"B-but how- like how is that even possible? I know Gravity Falls is weird- but this is my first time being here." It's just so weird. I looked at my hand again- few moments passed and that feeling came back to me. My hand was engulfed by blue flames again. This time I didn't try to put it out.

I just kinda stared at it, "It kinda looks cool..." I was just staring at it- probably almost a minute passed. My body was feeling tired and heavy. I put it out, for now. My body felt lighter the second I put it out.

"You know what.. I'll question that another time-... speaking of time what time is it?"

I looked at the sky- it was still evening. Looks like I was only asleep for a while. "What should I do to pass the time..." I didn't really know what to do now. I'm really not in the mood to go home so... Should I hang out with the twins at the shack? Hmm... No- it's already late. Never mind.. I'll just go home.
