"Well.. This is my home." I say as we approach my house. A lot happened today and- basically, the Pines family got kicked out by Gideon when he stole the deed. I don't even know if that's how it works.

They had nowhere else to go so I asked my mother if they could stay and she said it should be fine for a few days. Soos already went home before us a while ago.

I looked at my house- it wasn't that big, but it had enough rooms for the pines. It was as big as the Mystery Shack. Most of the rooms weren't really being used.

Before I could knock at the door Stan puts his hand on my shoulder, "Are you sure it's fine with your parents? That we could stay for a few days?" He asked with a frown.

"Of course it's fine," I assured him and knocked on the door, "I already asked her. She was fine with it."

"I-I owe you, one kid."

I took out my key and opened the door. "I'm Home!" I said as I enter the hallway, I turn to the pines, "C'mon let's go in."

They went in and took off their shoes. My mother approaches us, "Welcome home!" she looks at the pines, "Hello!" she looks at Mabel. "Oh weren't you out on a date with my son last time? Nice to meet you again." She said with a grin. She really does like embarrassing people.

"It's not like that mom!" I facepalm and look at Mabel, "She's just messing with you.."

"Y-Yeah... Nice to meet you again!"

"Hi! My name's Dipper Pines, I'm Will's friend and Mabel's twin."

"That's... a unique name, nice to meet you both."

"Hello miss. My name's Stan Pines, and these are my niece and nephew," he says pointing towards the twins. "You don't mind talking for a bit in the living room do you?"

She looks at him with silence for a moment before saying, "Hello, Stan. Nice to meet you." She looks towards us, "Will- why don't you take Mabel and Dipper to where they're staying at? I'll just talk to Stan for a bit."

I nod at her, "Okay." I look at the twins, "Let's go, it's upstairs." The twins followed me and we started heading up while my mother and Stan went to the living room.

There seems to be some kind of weird atmosphere around them, maybe they met before.. "Your mother seems nice," Dipper says breaking my train of thought.

"Oh, yeah.. Thanks..." I look at the twins while walking, "We have to do something about Gideon- or Stan might.. he might send you back home."

"What? We don't want to go back home yet!" she says worriedly. I would be too- they're nice company here. I wouldn't want them to go back home.. yet.

I look at Dipper he seems to be in thought, maybe thinking of some plans- as always. "What do you think we should do?"

"We should get the deed back. We can also expose him.. but we don't have any proof." As I finished my sentence we stopped at a door, "Well- let's think about that tomorrow, for now, this is your room."

"They're probably done talking, so.. let's go eat!"

William

"Well Well Well... Fancy meeting you here."

"AHH!" I opened my eyes and I screamed surprised by the voice. I know that voice anywhere.. I looked around me. I was in a grassland. Everything was drained of color. The land seemed to go on forever from the distance.

I feel something appear behind me. "How are you kid?" he says with his voice seemingly coming from everywhere. It echoes with confidence. Which.. I hate...

I turn my head behind me, there was floating Bill Cipher- a demon with one eye. I looked around this seems too different from my normal dreams. "Where am I? And are you even the real Bill? Not just... My dream?"

"The one and only! You're in the mindscape Kid!" He snaps his finger, "Here have a drink."

A glass of juice appeared in my hand. I looked over to him again, if he had a proper face he probably looks smug right now. "What do you want Bill?" I say with venom in my voice.

"Isn't that a bad way to talk to a friend?" he swirls the cane that he's been holding.

I roll my eye. I point my finger at him and shot him with a laser and shot him in the bowtie- like what he did with Dipper. "You know that ain't true Cipher."

"Woah-!" He looks at the hole I made and regenerates it. "You're a- SPECIAL KID AREN'T YOU?"He says the last part in a deep voice. His voice goes back to normal, "I like that about you kid. You're one of a kind."

"Enough with the small talk- what do you want?" I say as bluntly as possible.

"I just wanted to have a little chat. Like I said you're a special kid. I'm the smartest being in this universe- yet even I don't know much about you." He goes around circling me- staring at me again. "I just know that you came to this town- a mother with an unknown father."

He-.. What? "How do you know that?"

"I know lots of things kid." He turns his back to me, "You probably noticed during your time here- some.. 'Weird things'." He looks at me. He puts his hand out- his hands ignites with blue fire. It looks so familiar. I look at the ground- to avoid his distracting gaze, I tried to remember all the things that happened during my time here.

My memory clicks as I understand what he means by 'weird things'- not the fact that Gravity Falls was weird. No. The things happening to me.. the flame that appeared in my hand. The glow. The dream.. but.. what does it mean...?

I look at him, this time my gaze burning through him. He flew back a few feet- giving me a few space. "What are you trying to say?"

"You already know that don't you?" He looks at me as if expecting me to say the answer myself. "I'm sure already put the pieces together."

"I'm not like you Bill," I say bluntly. "It's just a coincidence-.." before I could finish my sentence he interrupts me.

"There are no such thing as coincidences here pal," he states while his voice turned deeper, "You coming here in Gravity Falls. Something brought you here. I know a lot of things- but you.. You're different." His voice turned back, "There's a reason why you're here right now. That's what I intend to figure out."

"Then what do you want with me?" I sat down trying to get comfortable. Even if it's a dream, it still feels tiring just talking to him.

"You're right kid- you aren't like me. You still feel human. A half-human and half-dream demon."

"How can you even prove that?"

"I just can. You're always conscious when dreaming you are born a dream demon! and besides, you're one smart kid. Now all I want is to help you. This time for free. You don't even have to pay me back anything."

"You know I can't trust you, Bill! Because of you, the shack got stolen by Gideon!" I look around us the mindscape was fading.

He looks around also, "Looks like you're waking up. I'll visit you on your next dream kid! You should think about it. I'll help you understand everything! Even your other parent! I'll help you master your powers!"

Wait what? "Wait! What do you mean my other parent?!"

"That's for another time! I'll see you soon!" He starts disappearing, "Remember! Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, bye!" Everything turned to white and he disappeared- leaving me in the mindscape.

I feel something in my hand. There was a blue light which was writing in my hand- it was written in blue which read, "DONT TRUST A CIPHER."

It's not like I'm actually gonna trust that guy...

I just need to figure out some mysteries.
