I opened my eyes. I see a familiar ceiling. I sat up with my body feeling heavy. "I just slept and I'm already tired? Ugh.." I look around and I was covered in a blanket. "Oh-.. Right... I'm in the living room."
I move the blankets away from me. No one is here right now... "Where are the twins?"
"Dipper? Mabel?" I said out loud and waited for an answer. Nothing. Huh...
I get up from the couch and stretched. Honestly, I could have gone for more sleep... Before I could leave the room- I smell something else in the room. "Food.." as I say that my stomach begins to rumble. "Heh..."
I head over to the kitchen and there was one plate that had a cover. I took it off and there were pancakes. "I don't know whose food this is but... it's mine now," I say snickering.
I took a fork from one of the drawers and ate a bite of the pancake, "Delicious.." It was a bit cold already but still tasted good.
"Good morning! You slept well?" My mother said from the hallway, I cough a bit from the sudden voice. I look over to see her standing in the doorway.
"Oh uh... Good morning. I guess I did, kinda." I said while shrugging.
"I left you some food there from earlier, I didn't expect you to sleep so much, so it's already cold," She glares at me, "Did you sleep late again?"
I put my hands up defensively, "U-Uh, I promise I didn't!"
She laughs a bit, "I'm just joking."
I put my hands down, "Y-Yeah... Did you see where Mabel and Dipper go? And also Stan?"
She looks at me with a confused face, "Stan.. I'm pretty sure he went to the diner. Dipper and Mabel.. I remember them saying something about the Mystery Shack."
I ate more of the pancakes while listening to her, "They didn't try to wake me up?"
"They did, but you wouldn't wake up so they left." She turns around, "Also- I have to buy some stuff, so I'll be back in a bit."
I wave at her, "Okay! Byeee!" She waves back as she leaves the house. I ate the rest of the food and decided to take a bath. After that, I went to my room and got changed. Seems like nobody was home right now.
I look at my room, it's.. messy. There were a lot of things scattered around. I've been busy so I didn't have time to clean it up. "Maybe another time..."
After putting on my clothes, I took one of my jackets- I had, uh.. let's say a lot... I took one and put it on. I had different kinds, most of them don't have designs- just colors. Right now I'm wearing a dark blue jacket. I zip up the zipper and got ready to go out.
I went downstairs and took a spare key from the drawer beside the door. I left the house and locked the doors. I looked at the garage, "Should I bring my bike?" I hummed, giving it some thoughts. I shrugged, "Eh. Probably won't need it."
I started to head towards the Mystery Shack, which.. sadly was going to be turned into a theme park because of that Gideon... Just thinking about him makes my blood boil. I sigh, leaving that thought for another time.

I started to go my way. It didn't take long to get there. As I arrived, I see some gnomes turning away from the Shack. "Did they get into trouble?" I whisper to myself. I ran trying to find them. I look at the entrance to the Mystery Shack, there I saw a huge robot. What's worse? It's a Gideon robot... I walked towards the entrance before I could go in- I heard some noises somewhere else.
I followed the voices and saw the twins sitting in the grass talking as more gnomes leave the area. "Dipper! Mabel!" I yelled as I ran towards them. I stop in front of them, "You guys okay? Did something happen?" I asked, worry filling my voice. I swear if that guy...
They stood up, "Will!" They both greet. They seem rather sad... Did something happen?
Mabel approaches me and tackles me in the body crushing me with a hug, "Ouch.."
I look at her, she was buried in my chest. "He took the journal! What are we gonna do now? I don't wanna leave Gravity Falls yet!" She looks at me- her eyes shining, tears threatening to fall.
"The journal? He took it? What does he want with it?" I look back at the shack. Is that why he wanted the Shack..? I look back at Mabel, a frown on her face.
"Uh.. We tried getting the deed back.. which failed miserably." Dipper sighs replying nervously. He looks rather defeated.
"We can't really do much about that now.." I admit, "I-I'm not sure when, but I'll try to get it back at some point, but right now... Stan wants you to go back to your.. home. I can't do anything about that..."
Dipper looks at me, hope in his eyes. "Thanks, Will. I'm really sorry I can't help."
"No no.. It's fine... Maybe you can come back if we get the shack back," I said with a slight hope of seeing them again.
Mabel lets go of me, "Do we really have to go? Can't we stay at your house for a bit?" She said pouting. One word was in my mind.. Cute...
"U-uh.. I'm not even sure of what Stan would say. I'm sure he has other plans," I sigh. "Let's find Stan first."
I look at the twins, they nod reluctantly. I knew they were leaving soon, but I didn't know it was this early..
...
"Well... This is it. Your bus... " I said sadly.
"Bus 52, departing Gravity Falls, all aboard." The bus driver says as the door opens. Me, Stan, Wendy, and both Mabel's friends- Candy and Grenda stood there saying goodbye to the twins.
Stan approaches the twins, "This is for the best kids," he says frowning, with guilt in his voice.
I approach the twins and gave Mabel a piece of paper, she looks at it curious to find what's inside, "That has my number in it.." I give them a quick smile, "I'll see you both soon."
She gives a small smile, "Thanks!" She gives me a quick hug and before going inside the bus.
I look at Dipper and he shrugs. "Hope we can go on an adventure again," I say to him.
"I'm sure we'll come back." He waves and enters the bus also.
They sat in the back seat. They wave to us as the bus leaves.
Candy and Grenda were hugging each other trying to not look at the leaving bus. Wendy was waving goodbye, with a sad face. I look at Stan he was turned to us while looking back at the bus, he had a huge frown. Even I didn't see Stan this sad before.
The bus leaves in the distance with Mabel and Dipper at the backseats looking towards us. Both of Mabel's friends left running away. Wendy also left saying that she needed something else to do. Stan started walking towards the house, I look back at the bus which was long gone before following after Stan.
"You okay Stan?" I asked genuinely.
He sighs, "I'm fine kid.. if I would have just been more careful of him- this wouldn't have happened."
"Maybe.. Somehow I don't get why the whole town seems to favor him so much." I shudder, he really is a creepy kid... "Or maybe the town is just more gullible than I thought..." I look at Stan, he seems rather quiet. "You're gonna try and get the Shack back right?"
He looks at me finally breaking his thought, "Oh- Uh yeah.. I just have to find a way to defeat him. To expose him!"
"You know- you notice you have a lot of secrets."
He looks at me, giving me a confused face. "What's it to you kid?"
"I mean you do have a portal in the basement-" Before I could finish my sentence he stops in his tracks. I also stop and looked back at him.
He starts walking again and went past me, "I don't know what you're talking about."
I follow after him, "The twins, Soos, and I went to your mind yesterday. We were trying to get rid of Bill, a dream demon, so he wouldn't steal the deed of the Shack." I explained, "Then I found out about something else."
He chuckles, "And do you think I'll believe that kid? This town is normal as it can be!"
I look at him for a second, "You-.. You have a brother right, Stan? Your memories wouldn't lie."
"What's your point?" he says bluntly.
"Well.. Your subconscious told me to talk to you about this at some point- something about a favor." I shrug.
He seems to be in thought for a minute, I was gonna speak up, but he beat me to it. As if he knew what the 'memory Stan' was thinking, he says "I-.. Something might happen soon. If you've seen most of my memories, you'll know what I'm gonna do next." He gives out a big sigh, like all his problems piling up on top of him. "Can you just protect Dipper and Mabel? I-I don't want them to get caught up in all of this.."
I give out a small smile, he really seems to care about the two. "They're gonna find out eventually you know?"
"I'm sure they will, but this is too dangerous."
I lightly laugh, "For a grumpy guy, you really care about those two."
He groans, "Yeah, yeah. They- they're the only family I have right now.." We walk for a minute with complete silence before he continues, "I'm glad you get along with them."
"Yeah.. They're fun to hang around with." I sigh, I already miss them.
"Especially Mabel," I look at him, tilting my head in confusion. "You're a good guy you know? Both of you are young, but I wouldn't mind if you got together."
"W-what? I-I, Uh.." I say completely flustered as I ran out of words, "Where'd that come from?" That I did not expect Stan to say.
"I'm rootin' for ya kid! I'm sure they'll come back." He says slightly becoming more in a good mood, "Mabel's uh.. Unique, as they say. I'm sure you'll like her."
He isn't even listening to me anymore... "I didn't even say anything about that!" Sure I may not deny it, but still- I don't know yet...
He laughs, "Sure you didn't-" Before he could finish his sentence he puts his hands to his ears and covers it, "Ouch! My hearing aid! I swear this thing is broken!"
"I doubt it's broken, maybe it's picking up some sort of frequency." I look around him, he still had a Gideon pin on his suit. Suspicious... I took it and inspected it. How could I have not noticed something so obvious... The eyes had a small lens in them. Not noticeable easily, but still visible.
"What are you looking at kid?"
I whistled to it for a few seconds, seeing if it works.
"Ouch! What the-.." He stops himself before he swears, "What keeps causing that?"
I give it back to him, "It seems to be a small camera... and it can detect the audio as well.."
"Really? This is great! We can expose him with this! I knew he wasn't a psychic!"
"Now.. Where would this be connected to..." Before I could finish, there was a small rumble in the ground. I look over behind me at the road to find the source of the sound. It's barely visible, but I could see it, a giant robot was running at the dirt road. No.. It wasn't just any robot. It's the worst kind... A huge Gideon robot. It was as huge as the trees.
"Pines!" He yells out still running as fast as a huge robot can go. I feel like someone I know made that.. A certain crazy old man perhaps...
Then I noticed where it's headed, "Dipper and Mabel!" I look at Stan, concern in my eyes. "He's probably headed for the twins!"
"Let's go drive up to them!"
I look around, not sure if that's gonna be fast.. "You go on ahead! I'll uh.. find another way." He nods and runs up to a taxi without hesitation, and takes it to wherever the robot was going.
I look at the forest, I ran inside where there's no prying eyes. I'd love to fly there- like what Bill taught me, but I barely know crap. I whistled and waited for my friend. My flying friend.
Not even a minute passed and I heard the sound of flapping wings above me. Before I could look up, the creature falls in front of me, I covered my eyes as the specks of dust goes past me.
Hopefully, I'm not too late...
...
I look in front of me, "Dusk!" I ran up to her and hugged my griffin friend. I haven't seen her in a few days, with me being busy and all. She squeals at me as I pet her. Before I could get distracted, I shake my head to clear my thoughts, "Can you get me somewhere?"
She tilts her head, before bumping me with her side- indicating that it's fine. She lowers her wings and I brought myself up and put my right foot on the other side as I got on. The first time I did this- it seemed really uncomfortable without anything to hold on to. Yet somehow it feels like I won't even fall.
Soon after she flaps her wings and we got off the ground and looked over to where the robot was going. I already wasted enough time so I had to go faster. She starts heading over to the direction and went faster than most cars. It was weird- there isn't any wind directed to me at all, even to dusk... Magic perhaps?
It only took us a minute to catch up to it. The robot seemed to be on top of the rail which was in between two mountains that were connected by an old set of rails- which was surprisingly holding up to the weight of the robot.
I was wayyyy above the robot so it didn't exactly spot me. It was holding its hands up. I look closer and there was someone on both its hands. I flew a little closer, I could barely see it. Before I could see who it was, it then throws the person on the left hand towards the back to the cliffs. I look over to see who it was...
"Dipper!" I yelled, he really didn't hear me. If that's Dipper then... I look over to the robot's other hands as it turns around "Mabel!"
"Once I find the other journal I'll rule this town, with you as my queen!" He yells out, laughing maniacally.
I growl as I motion for Dust to fly closer. Before we could get anywhere near. Dipper jumps off the clip and yells. The robot turns around and with that- Dipper falls to one of the eyes, breaking the glass and getting inside the robot. The robot then falls to its back on the rails. I look over to the right side as I look for Mabel.
She was barely holding on to the huge fingers of the robot, with quick thinking, I motion for Dust to fly to the right hand. "Hang on!" I say quite literally. With approach her as I grab her in the stomach with both of my hands- she wasn't heavy, so I could easily lift her up, but she wasn't exactly light either. I put her in front of me as she holds on to Dusk for support. We fly away for a bit.
I look at Mabel her eyes closed, "Hey, Shooting Star!"
She opens her eyes to see me. She smiles at me brightly, "Will!" She says excitedly.
I give her a small smile, "You okay?"
Before she could respond the robot got up as it starts punching itself, soon enough the head rotated from the punches and it started to lose balance. It falls off the rails, Dusk flies towards the robot, I look around for Dipper.
In a split second, Dipper falls out of the robot's eye the one he broke. In one quick motion, we flew towards him and I grab his hands as we fly away trying to not get dragged down along with the junk of a robot.
We got out quickly, before I could help him up, the robot falls to the ground below it- creating a huge blue explosion, causing a mini shock wave. Though it didn't reach us that much.
I shake my head, clearing my thoughts, I bring Dipper up and he climbs Dusk. He sits in the front with his sister behind him. "Ugh.." He groans, "Thanks, Will..." He says as he breathes deeply, quite tired from the current event.
I look back down with the dust clearing the area. It shows that the robot is broken with some fire in some areas of its body. Dusk starts descending, "That-.. was close. You both okay?" I say as I look towards the twins.
"Yeah, t-" Before Dipper could finish his sentence, Mabel cuts him off.
"That was cool!" She says excitedly, she looks at Dusk her eyes glittering. "What is this giant flying bird- lion- something. It's so adorable!" She says not knowing how to describe Dusk.
We descend to the ground, before I respond, "Uh-.. She- She's a Griffin."
I jump down and turned to them. I help Dipper because Mabel was petting Dusk. "How come-.. you never told us about this stuff." He says almost tripping on the ground.
"Well-..."
"Yeah! How come you never told us you had a friend like her!" Mabel asks pouting. I nervously laugh as I help her get down.
"Uh-..." Before I could reply, I get interrupted once again, this time by police sirens. Rude... We look towards the source of the noise. Some cars were heading this way. Around six cop cars and a few civilian cars, some of them were already walking in our direction. With quick thinking I motion for dusk to follow me to the forest, "I'll be back!" I said looking back at the twins for a second.
We both enter the forest for cover, I don't want them seeing her. Who knows what they'll do... I look at Dusk, she tilts her head. I pet her head, "I'll see you later bud, okay?" I say taking out some snacks and giving her some.
She eats it in one mouthful. She looks at me and rubs her head against my chest, "Okay Okay!" I lightly laugh, petting her. She turns around and starts flying away. "Bye!"
As soon as she's gone, I turn around to leave the forest. Before I could return to them- I felt something else in the forest. I shudder as I quickly turn towards the forest. Nothing was there, it wasn't exactly night yet, so the evening sky still brightened the forest. Though with the huge pine trees, it blocked some of the sunlight- leaving some black shades in the forest ground.
For a moment- my eyes felt hot. For a moment-.. I could see everything around me. My senses heightened for a few seconds. I hear the birds still chirping, I could see some squirrels, rabbits, and even a few deer. They were looking to the now heaps of broken metals.
I look around some more before my eyes fell to one area. It was far deeper into the forest, but there was a faint blue flame. It felt connected to the mountains. I squinted my eyes, looking further to it. It looks to be the shape of a rectangle, it was encased with blue flames.
I was looking at it for a few seconds, which felt like minutes. Should I go there? Is something there? Before my curiosity could take over, I shake my head and blinked. Breaking my thoughts. My eyes felt normal, mostly everything turned back. My senses returned to normal as well. Though I felt more tired just from that.
I look in the direction of the flame for a moment. I shivered again- feeling like someone was watching me again. "I think I'll just leave now," I say turning around and walking out from the creepy forest which quickly turned into a small jog.
I stopped to look around and saw Gideon getting in the cop car with handcuffs- not just any handcuffs, small ones... "I'll be back!-" He yells, he says something else but I wasn't paying attention anymore.
"How'd he.." I look back at the robot, it was in bad shape. There were still a few fires, though they were getting put out by a few police officers. There seems to be an opening around the belly of the robot, I look inside to find screens that showed videos of the townspeople. It showed them their secrets. "And I thought he couldn't get any creepier.." I said turning away.
Just around the area, were the news reporters, they were interviewing the pines. I give out a small smile. "It all worked out in the end.."
After the reporter finally left them alone, I approached them. "You guys good?" I asked them for the third time this day.
They turn to me, Mabel was the first to approach, "Yeah! We finally beat Gideon!" She celebrates throwing her arms in the air while smiling excitedly.
"And we got the shack back!" Stan says, holding up the deed. "Finally- I can go back to scamming everyone." He says with a grin. I'm sure he's just joking...
I stare at him blankly, "Typical.."
"Well then! It's time to go home! Back to the shack!" Stan yells in victory.

Author's Note
Well, well, well...
We are done with season one. Halfway through the whole series. I already have some ideas that I'm going to write after I write the whole series. And for the half of season two, I've already written which I just need to publish now.
After that... Well, updates aren't going to be as frequent. But I'll try to do it every other week or so. No promises. I was also thinking of re-writing all of these. Just some small details here and there as well as more technical rewrites.
This ain't exactly that much of a good fanfic, but I hoped you're enjoying it anyway. For those that made it here, I commend you. It makes me happy to know someone is reading what I've written. Even if they think it's terrible.
Anyhow, review if you can! If not then just enjoy the ride!
'till next time!
Have fun!
