"Hmm... Where am I?"I asked myself. I was somewhere in the Forest, but.. I don't even know how I got here.. "Hello?!" I yelled, hoping someone would hear.

The green lush forest soon turned gray. Everything seemed to have stopped. Even the rustling of the leaves can't be heard.

"Hello!" A loud high pitched voice yelled from my head, "It's nice seeing you again kid!"

"Ugh.." I groan, he really wants to do those kinds of entrances huh? "Come on Bill, just come out."

After I said that, he comes out of the ground, still cheery as ever. "You look like you're tired, kid. Man, the human body must be really fragile, huh?"

"Kind of- just went somewhere today." I shrug, not really feeling that well today. I look at him, with all seriousness. "You've done this before right? These.. 'deals', you've made them to others from the past right?"

That's what I would assume from the seemingly obvious drawings I found on the walls a few hours ago.

"Yeah. I've lived for probably about a billion years, from your concept of time. I made a lot of deals from the age of man. Though it was a lot harder back then when people were still dumb." He says bluntly.

"Oh, harsh," I comment.

"Still, I helped them become smarter ya know? I helped them gain knowledge, cause I'm a nice guy!" He brags, can't tell if he's being genuine or just joking...

"Yeah, by making deals," I said crossing my arm. "Anyways, speaking of deals... You know what- I'll agree with you.." For now, I don't really know what he's planning, but he's just a dream demon. He can't even go into the real world. I mean still a demon, but.. yeah.

His face brightens up, quite happy. Maybe I'll regret this.. but what can he do really?

"So, you want to agree to my deal that I'll help you with your 'powers' and learning to be a dream demon all that stuff. For a small favor-"

I cut him off, "A small favor, that won't end in total global destruction, hurting my friend, family, and me and- or that won't end in using me for horrible stuff based on human morals." I say in one breath while being as specific as I could get.

He pauses for a moment waiting for me to finish, "Yes, what you said. I won't make you do anything that you might regret." He holds out his hands, which burst into flames. He looks at me smugly waiting for me. "I bet it on my existence," he added smugly.

I sigh, looking at his hands for a moment, "Fine..." I muttered. Finally making up my mind I shake his hands. "Deal." My body felt light for a moment we shook hands. I let go, not really sure if this is the right decision... "Also.. do you know anything about this?" I say as I took out the ring I found earlier this morning.

He takes it from me and examines it. He thinks for a moment before responding, "Well, it has magic. It can make you immortal, probably. It also gives you a lot of energy." He gives it back to me.

"I-Isn't that pretty powerful?" I say shocked.

"Well it is, I already am immortal. but there's no point if we- dream demons use it. Because we use different kinds of magic, it will eventually at some point break it." He explains. That kinda sucks... "For humans, it might be useful. You can live an eternal life, but honestly, there's no point if you don't have the power to match it."

"Awh.." I say quite disappointed, "So I have no use for this?"

"I noticed that you get tired most of the time after you practice. Why don't you try it, so you can have longer stamina." He said suggesting. Maybe I should at least try it...

"Hmm... Okay, I'll try. Why not." I said shrugging. "Also.. can you turn into a.. human?" I asked quite curious just as I remembered what I saw earlier, someone had a top hat, that looked like a human which was drawn in the caves. "Just curious, I mean this is the mindscape, so it should be possible right?"

"Well I can, I just choose not to."

Is he really not gonna show me..? Hmm... "Ah, sure sureee. Of coursee you can. The almighty Bill Cipher, cannnn totally turn himself into a human." I said in the most sarcastic way while dragging out some words. He looks at me blankly, not sure how to respond.

"Mockery, really? You hate to hear that kind of stuff."He says with his only eye twitching, I just look at him in a confused manner, looking innocent. "It's easy, but you humans have such confusing bodily structure. So fragile."

He snaps his fingers, which immediately surrounded him in a bright yellow light. By bright- I mean enough to make me close my eyes. As soon as the light faded I opened my eyes. There he was, Bill Cipher in human form...

I don't know what I expected honestly.. He looks exactly the guy from the dream I had, and he looked exactly like the guy from Stan's memories. They were identical almost.

Bill Cipher; His appearance also matches his usual form. He had a black eyepatch on his right eye, does he really only have one eye..? His left eye though showed a bright color- yellow. Even his hair was yellow. His bangs cover most of his eyepatch. Unlike the guy from the memory, Bill had a yellow suit-like coat, which reached up to his knees with the bottom cape split halfway to provide better movement. His sleeves which reached up to his gloves were black, and his pants being black as well, which greatly compliments the color yellow. And with that, he wears his trademark top hat and bow tie proudly while holding his yellow cane.

With a prideful smile, he shows off his human form. "There you happy now?"

"I-I... Uh.. Pretty good?" I said quite flustered, not exactly sure what to say... I just didn't expect him to actually transform.

"This might actually be better, to teach you." He sits while floating, "I'm sure it's better if another human teaches you. Just pretend like I'm human." He says smirking. This was new for me as I didn't exactly see his mouth when he was in his triangle-like form.

"I guess so." I tried focusing my energy again, in the next moment, I started floating. I crossed my legs- trying to level to him while sitting, in the air of course. "So... what do we do?" I was actually proud that I can somewhat float. It's a start, definitely. It only took me a few days to actually start floating without getting tired.

"Well, since you can control your energy freely now. Since last time you wasted a lot... I'd say.. let's try flying." He flies above the trees. I follow after him. "Just imagine your energy pulling you in other directions."

"Uh-huh.. Sounds easy enough." With that instruction, I gazed in a random direction. I imagined my energy going in front of me. It worked! I was moving slowly..- For a few seconds. Until I started falling as I forgot to also float.

Before I could fall completely to the ground, I focused again, stopping just inches away from the ground. Then with a small thud, I sat at the ground, "Phew... that.. was close." I breathe in relief.

The ground was waaayyy too close for comfort.

"You got a long way kid!" He laughs at my attempt from above.

I give him a death stare, "This isn't exactly easy ya know!" I yell with frustration.

I feel like this is gonna take a few hours...

...

William

I was right.. it did take a few hours, but soon enough I got the hang of it. I was flying around the mindscape, not as fast as Bill, but still pretty fast. The only thing I had to do was put pressure on my back, which could push me forward. Pretty complicated for me, honestly. Imagination is easy, but controlling it needs work.

"We're done for today kid." He says as I turn towards him, "Let's continue this whenever. You should also try it outside."

"Okay, thanks."

"Also I checked the ring. It didn't get damaged that much with your magic. It did help restore your stamina though." He thinks for a seconds before continuing. "That's all. Good luck!"

He disappears quickly this time before I could get a word in.

"Okay.. time to wake up..."

I closed my eyes and focused, I waited for a minute before opening my eyes.

Then I saw a familiar ceiling. There was small sunlight that was passing through my windows. I got up and stretched feeling relaxed. It seems to be such a good morning. One of my best mornings.

"Welp time to eat."

I got down and greeted my mother and uncle. I did my morning routine. Eat and then take a bath. After that, I said goodbye to them and headed towards the Mystery Shack. That was pretty much most of my morning routine.

I entered through the gift shop. I tried to see if the door was unlocked and.. it was! It means that Stan is already awake. Though no one was in the gift shop yet. I opened the shop, no one really shops early, but Stan still says to keep the shop open.

I look at the gift shop, everything seems to be clear now. I look at the time, around 9.. "Welp, time to take a nap"

Before I could start napping and doing less work, someone else comes in the room.

I look over, to see Mabel.

"Oh! Hey, mornin' Shooting star," I said while sitting down at the cashier. "You just woke up?"

She turns to me with a drowsy look. "Will? Yeah, I just woke up a while ago thanks to waddles.." She approaches me and sits in the seat in front of the cashier. "When did that become my nickname?"

"Ah, well I thought it sounded cute," I compliment.

"Ah, you're just being crazy!" She says lightly hitting me in the shoulder. "You really do know how to sweet-talk someone huh? Nickname accepted!" She says smiling innocently.

"Is that a compliment? I'll take it," I said returning a smile. "Just a question, how many sweaters do you have?" I was really curious to ask. She seems to be wearing a new one every day. Today she's wearing a red sweater with pink spots and a light bulb in the middle. I wonder if it turns on..

"A lot! Do you wanna see?" She says as she moves her face closer to me, her eyes sparkling.

I nervously laugh as a response, backing up a bit from her sudden action. "Maybe another time."

"Awhh," Mabel says in a disappointed tone, she goes back to her seat. "Do you like it?" She circles in place, showing her sweater off.

"Yeah, it looks cool." I look at her sweater again, "Does that turn on or somethin' like the boom box sweater from before?" I asked, curious.

"Try it!" She says with her arms to the side.

"Hmm.. Okay!" I poke her sweater in the middle of the light bulb. It lights up which is actually very bright like a flashlight. I thought it would just be something that shines honestly.

She giggles a bit from the contact, "Now you're just tickling me. Hehe."

"That's kinda cool.." I say genuinely in awe.

"I made it myself, I'm quite artistic what can I say." She proudly states standing straight.

"Kinda want one..." I whisper to myself, not meaning to say it out loud.

Her face brightens, "You want one? I can make you one!" She excitedly says.

I quickly put my hand in my mouth, "I didn't mean to say that.. But I guess I do want one." I chuckle a bit at her adorable energy. "I'd say I like jackets better.. but I can try a sweater out."

"Sure! I'll think of a design soon." Mabel's face lit up before speaking, "Also! You'll go with us, right? Today?"

"Today.. What?" I asked not keeping up.

"Bro-bro said he might have found something new in the Journal, he wants to go on an adventure! You're gonna go with us right?" She asks in a pleading way while pouting.

I look at her, making a mental pause before responding. "Sure, why not. Can't say no to those adorable puppy eyes." I said grinning, which quickly turned to a flustered smile.

"Yay!" She exclaims excitedly.

"Where are we going later again? Did Dip' say anything?" I remembered last time I wasn't prepared... Couldn't really do much.

She thinks for a moment, "He said something about a secret bunker, that's about it."

"A secret bunker... I'm sure that has a lot of danger inside of it. You guys sure it's safe?" I asked, quite nervous. Is it a good idea...? Hmmm.. I already know who the author is.. and he's in another dimension, is it worth going through a bunker- where there may or may not be dangerous monsters or some crap? Welp, I'll just leave Stan to tell them about the author.

"I'm sure it's fineeeee," She says dragging out her words.

I stare at her blankly, "Okay... Sure," I really don't want them getting hurt... "I'm sure you'll go without me if I try to stop both of you anyways." Then that gave me an idea. "I got something for you," I say reaching out to my pockets.

"What is it?" She says in a curious tone.

I took out the ring, which I cleaned yesterday obviously, well Bill said it was magic- so, yeah. I'll be fine without it anyways. It protects the wearer and... I have no use for it. "Here." I hold it out for her to take.

She looks at it and stares, "W-What are you trying to say?" She asks, flustered, her ears started going red. "I-I'm not even sure w-what to say."

I look at her confused, "What?" I asked, it took a moment before it finally clicked on my head. "Ah... R-right.. Uhm It's nothing like that- it's just.." I paused for a moment, I shouldn't really say that Bill said it to me...

I tried to think of a different excuse, "Uh... I went to somewhere in Gravity Falls and I found this, and it said that this had magic and it'll help protect the wearer in case of danger. So I thought I might give it to you, in case something did happen, and I thought it might help. So that leads to right now..." I explained in a quick few breaths in between, trying to get rid of misunderstandings.

I took a deep breath from my sudden outburst. I look at her, she seems to be confused still. Smooth, Good job William- yup, you did great explaining. I swear.. I made it more awkward.

There was a few seconds of silence for a bit, and her smile quickly grew back, "I think I get it, so you're saying this might protect me in case of any danger?" She asks making sure.

"Yup. That's my knowledge about it."

She approaches me, "Okay! I'll count on it." I give it to her and she puts it on her left ring finger. It wasn't that obvious unless you pay attention to it. It fitted nicely on her finger. "Awh.. It's a cute dog." She said, her words melting. My heart also.

"Am I interrupting something?" Someone said as they entered the gift shop. We look over to the entrance to see Wendy, she was smirking.

"Nothing!" We both yelled in unison.

Stan's voice then comes out from the living room, "Mabel! You forgot to make breakfast!" Stan yells.

"Coming Grunkle Stan!" She yells back, "Anyways, I'll talk to you later! I have to eat breakfast!" She hugs me for a quick moment, before running out of the room, "Thanks for the gift!"

"Okay! See ya later!" I turn to Wendy, "Hey, 'Sup?"

She chuckles before speaking, "What was that all about?" She said confused to what she walked in on.

"Eh, I just gave her something that might protect her," I said, trying to avoid any more details.

"You gave her something? What is it?" She says more curious than before. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything...

"Uh... A magic ring?" I said specifically.

"A magic ring? Really? Are you sure that's not just a normal ring dude? Or.. are you not telling me something going on?" She puts her hands to her chin while staring at me. Staring at my soul, seeing if I was lying or not.

"Yeah, promise. It protects her, though I'm not positive how." Her face softens, knowing I was telling the truth. "And there is nothing going on, not that I'm aware of anyways."

"Good enough answer I guess. Though if there is something going on tell me," she said the last part as a joke. Probably...

We then talked for a bit, apparently, she was coming as well. Though after a while she went somewhere, saying we should go first and that she had to do something first real quick.

After she left, I met up with the twins and Soos.

I kinda felt tired going on an adventure two days in a row. Not used to it.

I've already been living at Gravity Falls for almost a month.

Yet I'm still not used to the weirdness...
