KAWASAKI - KOJO YAKEI 7:20 PM

Drusilla finally met Blade and Whistler at the factory after arriving at the subway station in Kojo Yakei. She was so pleased since they first met in Los Angeles. Blade had trained Drusilla so well and her fighting skills had improved. They battled vampires, demons, and monsters in Los Angeles and they saved people from harm repeatedly.

She remembers how she used to struggle with two bloodsuckers, but one of her last missions had her being surrounded by four of them and still winning, only having a bit of trouble because they took her seriously after the first one went down.

"Hi, Blade. It's been a while," said Drusilla.

"Haven't seen you in 4 years," Blade said. "Who are these kids?"

"Oh, they called themselves Digidestined and they have Digimon partners with them. They want to help me to take out Angelus," said Drusilla.

"Uh, hi. My name is Tai," he said. "And this is my sister, Kari."

"Hello," said Kari, waving.

"I'm Izzy Kushiro," he said. "This is Matt, TK, Sora, Mimi, Joe, Davis, Yolei, Ken, and Cody."

"So I see you have Digimon partners with you. I'm Abraham Whistler. It's nice to meet you, kid." said Whistler.

"So, you have anything for me?" asked Drusilla.

"Yeah," Whistler said as he unlocked the trunk. The Digidestined were stunned.

They have Heckler & Koch USP, UV grenades, MAC-10, MAC-11, Beretta 92FS, shotguns, Glocks, Mossberg 590 Mariner, and Remington 870.

"Wow," said Veemon, unable to stop himself from staring at the arsenal in front of him.

"I don't want you kids playing with guns. I am very skilled at using weapons to kill vampires," Drusilla replied.

"Blade taught you that?" asked TK.

"Yep, and he taught me to do martial arts, too," said Drusilla.

"That's cool, I wish Blade had to teach me that," said Davis.

"Ken does Judo," said Yolei.

"Hey, I don't fight vampires," replied Ken.

Drusilla reloaded the Remington 870 and then cocked the shotgun. 'I know I can do this. I'll finish Angelus off with one blow.' thought Drusilla.

"Drusilla? You okay?" asked Gatomon.

"Yes, I'm okay," she replied to the feline Digimon.

"I used to work with Myotismon as you did. He showed no sympathy for me. He was sadistic and cruel. Just like Angelus," Gatomon said, downcasted. "Wizardmon was killed by Myotismon when he tried to protect me and Kari."

"Oh, I'm sorry," said Drusilla, sympathetically, and patted him on the back.

"So, Whistler, do you have an idea where the vampires are?" asked Izzy.

"Those vampires are at 1 Oak Tokyo, a nightclub located in Tokyo," he replied.

"They're at the nightclub?" asked Davis.

"We can't go in there because we're minors," said Tai.

"Don't worry, Blade and I will take care of it," smiled Drusilla.

"I have something for you," Izzy said, taking out the headset walkie-talkies from his backpack and giving them to Blade and Drusilla. "Here are some headset walkie-talkies."

"Nice," said Whistler.

"Thanks, Izzy," said Drusilla.

"You ready?" asked Blade.

"Yeah," nodded Drusilla.

"Alright, let's head to the nightclub," said Whistler.

1 OAK TOKYO

"We'll spend as much time outside as possible. I've given you a mini spy camera that's connected to my laptop via my cam link. So you two be careful." said Izzy.

"Understood. Let's go," said Drusilla.

Drusilla and Blade went into the nightclub and heard loud techno music while the raves were dancing. Drusilla walked through while a guy and girl were kissing together, so she didn't bother them. She had to find the bad vampires in this nightclub.

Blade planted a spy camera on a pillar, so the Digidestined could see inside the dancefloor.

"Hey, they're having fun tonight," said Agumon.

"Yeah, but there are no vampires in here yet," said Tai.

"Give them some time. I'm sure they'll find them," Whistler replied.

Drusilla walked to the bartender and ordered her gin & tonic. The bartender nodded and made her gin & tonic, when he finished the beverage, he then gave her an alcoholic drink.

Then Drusilla drank it so that she needed to pick her up. She finished her drink and paid the tab and returned to searching.

Meanwhile, the two vampires were on the upper level looking down there and spotted a woman with a long, red dress. It was Drusilla.

"Check it out. We found Drusilla. If we get her, Angelus will be very happy," said the vampire 1.

"She must be searching for us. It'll be easy to capture her," said the vampire 2.

The vampire saw the black guy who was wearing a black trench coat. "Hey, who's this guy?" he asked.

"I think it's her sidekick. He came to help her," replied the vampire 2.

"Not exactly. I know who he is," said the male British voice coming from the darkness. He had platinum blond hair, wearing a black leather duster. It was Spike.

"He's Blade, the Daywalker," said Spike in a serious tone.

"What? He's a Daywalker?" shocked the vampire 2.

"You heard the man. He fought Deacon Frost. Also, he must have taught Drusilla weaponry and martial arts skills. She's not the weak vampire anymore," Spike said. "I was surprised at her abilities."

"So, what do we do? Shall we distract her or what?" asked the vampire 1.
"Let Monica handle this. She's down there on the dancefloor while this guy's dancing with her. She'll have a feast on him somewhere. And the other vampires will get the Daywalker." said Spike.

Monica was a girl who was wearing a silver leather shirt, black leather pants, and black boots, and she had slick black hair in a high ponytail. She danced with this guy while she caressed his cheek.

"Do you wanna make out with me somewhere?" Monica asked.

"Oh, do I?" asked the guy, wearing a green T-shirt and blue jeans, and white sneakers.

"Yeah, you wanna?" she repeated.

"Okay, let's go somewhere," said the guy, the two went out of the backyard while Drusilla spotted them. She looked up at the circular mirror on the corner at the door, Monica had no reflection and this man's life was in danger!

"Guys, I found her! She was about to feast on him and he's in danger!" Drusilla cried to her earpiece walkie-talkie.

"Go get her!" said Whistler.

She quickly went after them, while Spike ordered two vampires to get the Daywalker. Blade spotted the two vampires coming downstairs.

"They're here. Bring the kids here!" said Blade to his earpiece walkie-talkie.

"Let's go, guys!" Tai and the gang get ready and make their partners Digivoled.

Blade began to shoot the two vampires and caused them to smolder, and the rave began to flee in panic while the other vampires remained to stay.

Meanwhile, Monica was taking the guy back to the alley, he was unsure where she was taking him.

"Um, where are you taking me?" he asked.

"You'll see," she replied.

Suddenly, she pinned him against the brick wall with all her strength. Then her face changed with yellow irises with slit pupils, her ridges were twisted and grotesque. Her teeth lengthened with sharp fangs. The man screamed in terror as she was about to bite him. Then she felt her hair pulled back and a stake in the chest which caused her to turn into dust.
"Are you alright?" Drusilla asked the man.

"Y-yeah" he stuttered.

"Go find somewhere safe," said Drusilla.

The man fled from the alley, and Drusilla ran in the opposite direction, climbing up the fire escape ladder to the rooftop of the building. Drusilla stood on the roof of the building looking out at the illuminated cityscape. The stars shone brightly in the dark sky.

"Hello, love," the male British voice said behind Drusilla as she turned around. It was Spike, her former lover.

"You," she said in surprise.

"It's been a long time since we met each other, Drusilla," said Spike.

Meanwhile inside the nightclub

XV-mon punched a vampire in the face, while Angemon hit him with a rod and Angewomon roundhouse kicked the vampire.

Stingmon used his Spiking Strikes to pierce the vampire's heart, causing it to explode into dust. A vampire with a pink mohawk attacked WereGarurumon, but the werewolf Digimon managed to dodge her attack and kick her in the back. Lilymon then used the Flower Canon to blast the vampire into dust. Blade struck the vampire in the face repeatedly, then stabbed him with the silver stake to the heart and exploded into dust.

XV-Mon watched as another vampire attempted to attack Blade from behind.

"Blade, look out!" XV-Mon cried as he sent him a flying punch to the wall.

"Thanks, I owe you one," said Blade.

"Don't thank me yet. The time has come to put an end to these guys," XV-Mon said.

"Where's Drusilla?" asked TK.

"She went out there to finish the vampire off," XV-Mon answered.

"Is she gonna be okay?" asked TK.

"She can take care of herself. She can handle this," said Blade.

Meanwhile outside on the rooftop

"I'd thought I'd never seen you again, Spike," said Drusilla.

"We've come to reunite, Dru. That night, you made me a vampire, we killed together, we were affectionate to each other, I treated you like a dark princess. But you," Spike spat, "you were cursed by Kalderash to have a soul and you helped people. You disappoint me."

"I don't want to be with you anymore. I have changed. I used to be that loony vampire who would kill people whenever Angelus turned me," said Drusilla. "Not anymore."

Spike glared at the woman and pointed a finger firmly at her direction. "Don't pretend you have any moral high ground over me, Drusilla! You gave me immortality yourself! You created Spike the bloodsucker! The blood of everyone I had to kill so I can survive is in your hands!"

Drusilla looked down for a moment. "Yes. I found you in peril and changed you to save you. You were then one of the innocents I had to save. You have a point, Spike. And that's why I have to fix my mistakes."

"What you did for me was no mistake. I was the one who did something wrong. Namely, to put you on a pedestal." Spike dashed faster than the human eye can see and threw a punch, which Drusilla blocked with her forearms. Then she kept blocking his punches.

"Drusilla, I thought you knew this better than me! We are vampires, we do not get tired!" One of his punches broke through her defense and knocked her down. "So, why so much defense and no offense?"

Drusilla got up quickly. "Because of the friendship we once had, I will give you one chance, Spike. Stop killing or I will get much more dangerous."

"I don't know you anymore. Your soul leads you to a path I refuse to follow." Spike replied.

"You said something about your crimes being my fault earlier," Drusilla told him sternly. "But now, you rejected my new path out of your own free will. Meaning you are the one with the responsibility!"

The next punch Spike threw was blocked again, but this time Drusilla countered with a hard fist to the gut, Spike coughed up blood.

Then she roundhouses kicked the platinum blond vampire to the head.

Struggling to keep his balance, Spike bared his fangs in anger. "You betrayed our kind! You will be punished!" He threw several hard jabs at her, but she dodged out of the way and attacked him from the right, bringing her knee to his ribs.

Enraged, Spike backhanded her with his right fist. "And what will you do once you are done with me? Find other lovers? Maybe turn them into vampires too? Then turn their back on them because they have no soul and can't reach your moral standards?"

She recovered, ducked under the next right hook, and kicked him in the jaw, knocking him down on his back. "I was willing to hold back initially. But you made your choice."

TK ran upstairs and up to the roof, where he saw Drusilla and Spike fighting. Platinum blonde struck Drusilla in the face, blood spitting out her mouth as she stumbled backward a bit, but recovered her balance quickly. She threw a punch at Spike, but he dodged her blows. He grabbed her arm and locked her in an arm lock behind her back.

"Drusilla!" TK cried, and ran to the battlefield. "Let her go!" he yelled.

"Get lost, kid! I was made by her!" yelled Spike.

"Why?! Why her? What do you want with Drusilla?" asked TK.

"Revenge!" Spike snapped at him. "She was the one who made me an immortal! And while I was grateful, she betrayed me. She turned her back on me!"

"Is that true, Drusilla?" TK asked.

"Yes. But I turned my back on him because he kept killing people and I got sick of it. I also turned him in the first place because he needed help and I gave it to him!" Drusilla explained. "Everything both of us said is true. Make your choice, TK!"

TK made it. "Tell me, then, you thug, why did you not follow her path when she stopped her crimes?"

"I had to kill to live," Spike answered.

"Then why is Drusilla still alive?" TK asked. Spike froze as Drusilla smiled.

"Both of you made your choice," TK told them. "And I choose to side with Drusilla."

"Then you will face consequences!" Spike, whose anger clouded his judgment, darted at Takeru, making the fatal mistake of releasing Drusilla and turning his back on her.

He brutally punched TK in the gut, then grabbed him by the throat. "A human can never stand up to a vampire!"

A silver stake immediately emerged through Spike's back. He grunted in pain, his head turned to Drusilla who staked him.

"D-Drusilla…?" he asked.

Spike loosened his grip on TK's throat and dropped himself to the ground, which caused dust.

The last thing he heard was his killer's voice. "A vampire can stand up for a human."

TK plopped to the ground and caught his breath, Drusilla ran to TK's side. She asked him if he was okay, then he replied he was fine.

Kari, Angemon, and Angewomon appeared on the roof, seeing TK and Drusilla lying there.

"TK, you okay? What happened?" asked Kari.

"Drusilla just saved my life," he answered.

"I staked my old love. It was Spike." she said. "When I first saw him, I made him a demon and started killing people. I turned him with promises of power. But now, I fixed my greatest mistake."

"I see. You did the right thing, Drusilla. Owning up to what you had once done was a sign of strength. You still have a soul," said Kari.

"What about Angelus and Darla? Are they here?" asked Drusilla.

"They never appeared here," Angemon said, "It seems Angelus' minions retreated and gave him a message. He will be there the next night. Far more cautious than before."

"What should we do?" asked Kari.

"I'm far too injured right now. I must return to the hotel to treat my wounds," said Drusilla.

"You can come to my house. The vampires won't enter here," said TK.

Drusilla was a bit skeptical, but she didn't want to be alone in this hotel, so she had to accept it.

"Okay, I'll come," said Drusilla.

"Alright, let's go." said TK, helped Drusilla stand up, and departed from the nightclub.

Meanwhile in the factory

The minions told Angelus that Blade was too much for them and the kids had their fearsome partners with them. They managed to capture Drusilla, but they got in their way.

"I see," Angelus replied, trying to stay calm.

"In the end, we failed to capture Drusilla because of them. Blade is a Daywalker, which explains how he was too strong for us, and the kids have those strange devices to make their partners evolve. They were too powerful." said the redhead vampire.

"And Master Spike was killed by Drusilla," said the vampire with the lime-green Mohawk.

"So he failed this mission, huh? I should have known someone who was turned and trained by our target would do nothing," said Angelus, a scowl on his face.

"Well, what should we do?" asked the redhead vampire.

"Drusilla befriended humans and they are helping her," said the female vampire.

"She has human friends? The ones who have their partners and devices, correct?" asked Angelus.

"Yes, Master, they are very capable of making their creatures evolve; I was stunned when I saw how strong these monsters were. And that's why we retreated." explained the female vampire.

"These kids are interesting. I want to go to look for them," said Darla.

"What do you have in store, Darla? Sounds like a plan to me" he asked his sire, who was also his lover, enthusiastically.

"I'm going to take this photo and sneak on them. They will never suspect a vampire stalking them in broad daylight," she told her childe.

"In daylight? That is very risky. How will you deal with the sunlight?" Angelus asked her, worried.

"That's why I will use the black car. It will give me a better cover, and it absorbs the sunlight," said Darla.

"And I suppose you will take pictures of them with the camera and make them more easily recognizable, thus easier to track at night?" Angelus asked her, rubbing his hands.

"Exactly. Once I succeed, they will no longer be able to hide!" Darla replied.

"Then go ahead. Just be careful and do not fight them yet," said Angelus.

"You know me, my childe. I can be really subtle if I want," Darla said, bowing down with a smile.
