Shiokaze Park 5:30 PM

The sun started to set, the sky was painted with vibrant red and a yellow hue. The park was lit up in a rainbow of colours. It seemed as if every colour could be represented within the park. The playground had already emptied out, leaving only small children and some teenagers. Some teens were still in the park, walking around, or sitting on benches.

Now Nancy leaning on the gate, staring at the ocean, glistening beautifully under the setting sun. She sighed deeply, looking down at her feet. She became depressed when her two sons died last night. She couldn't forgive Angelus for what he did.

"Nancy, so there you are," Nancy turned to see her ex-husband, Malcolm, walking towards her.

"Why haven't you gone home yet?" He asked while putting his hands in his pockets.

"I can't go back home yet," she looked away from Malcolm again. "I'm just here for a little while."

He sighed and stood beside her, leaning on the gate. They both stared at the ocean, admiring its beauty. They stay in silence for several minutes. They don't speak much but it felt nice. No one needed to talk. Malcolm broke the silence.

"How do you feel now? I mean about our boys?" he asked.

"It hurts. Everything hurts and they're dead, they never existed because they never got their life together, not like me who had everything going great." She said quietly.

Malcolm put an arm over Nancy's shoulder, trying to comfort her.

"You know why we didn't get married? Because we love each other too much. We always knew that someday we would come across someone who would take all of us away from each other, so when that day came we decided to leave."

Nancy looked at him, tears welling up in her eyes. "I miss them, I'm going to miss them everyday." She said softly.

"Don't think about them too much, Nancy. All we have left is each other, that doesn't change no matter what happens. I love you, Nancy, you are the best thing that happened to me. And Angelus, he will pay for what he has done and I will make sure that he won't hurt anyone ever again. Just wait and see." said Malcolm.

"Are you sure, Malcolm?" she asked as she wiped her tears. "Do we know who killed them?" She asked.

"That I cannot say. But I am sure you won't want to hear any more than I told you. I promise you that once this case is solved, Angelus will suffer for what he did." he reassured her.

He slammed his fist in anger. "Dammit! I should have gone with Matt, this wouldn't have happened! I'll find this bastard Angelus who killed our sons!" he yelled as he calmed himself down.

"Sorry I lost my temper." Malcolm apologized.

"It's okay. Thank you for being here. You know how I hate being alone." She smiled at him.

She then hugged Malcolm tightly and Malcolm responded by hugging her tighter as well. Neither knew how long they stood there but after a few minutes, they finally let go.

"Come on, let's get home before it gets dark." Malcolm suggested.

Nancy nodded her head and they headed back to his car. After getting into his car, Malcolm began driving to their house, leaving Nancy thinking about her lost sons. She missed them dearly.

Meanwhile

Drusilla was in the dungeon, sitting down against the wall, her knees close to her chest and her arms wrapped around her legs. She was staring blankly ahead at nothing, as if there were something she was trying to see on the other side of a wall or the floor in front of her, like a painting or an actor's reflection. But her eyes weren't focused on any one object in particular. She was wearing a white, long gown that covered almost every inch of her body, her feet bare and dirty from walking around the dungeon.

She heard the cell door open with a creaking noise, but she didn't move, still not really paying attention to anything, until she felt someone stood in front of her. She looked up to see Darla and her two minions standing in front of her cell, smiling wickedly.

"Hello, Drusilla. It seems we're going to be doing some experimenting today," said Darla, grinning widely. "I believe you will enjoy it very much. I am sure you have been deprived for so long."

"Experiment? What are you talking about?" asked Drusilla, frowning and narrowed her eyes at Darla.

Darla chuckled, "Well, my dear Drusilla, I'm sure you'll find out soon enough." Darla placed her hand under Drusilla's chin. "Mr. Trick is going to extract that soul of yours, and you will no longer feel yourself. You'll reunite with us."

Drusilla glared at Darla, "You can't do this! I'm not going to become an insane vampire like I used to! And I don't want to reunite with you!"

"You will, Drusilla. Because I say you shall," assured Darla, tightening her grip on Drusilla's jaw. She squeezed hard enough to make Drusilla wince. "And once you do that, then you shall be ours again. We shall take great joy in your madness… and in being in control once more."

With that, she released her grip on Drusilla's chin. Drusilla rubbed the sore spot on her face where Darla had gripped it so tightly, glaring at her.

"Take her to the lab," she ordered her minions, stepping aside as they approached Drusilla. They grabbed her by the arms, pulled her off the ground, and dragged her to her feet. She struggled, yanking her arms free of their grasp and kicking them in the shin, but they didn't react, just dragged her along anyway.

As they walked down the hallway, passing countless doors, several of them opened and a few people peered curiously out at Drusilla, watching her pass through without making eye contact. Some smiled, others frowned. She saw none of them smile; it was the same thing she saw every day, after all.

Darla pressed the code into a keypad next to each door in the hall, and the door swung open automatically. They went inside the room, and closed the door behind her, locking it.

The room was quite large, made entirely of glass, which allowed them to observe everything in the room. There was a table with various tools spread across its surface.

There was a giant satellite electric plasma in the designed shape of a space laser gun. There was a metal table with straps laid over it that contained dozens of vials filled with glowing liquid. The liquid inside all appeared to be blue.

A rack on the far side held all types of instruments, including scalpels, needles, and even a scalpel that seemed like it could cut straight through stone. There were also many syringes.

A door opened automatically from another room, and an African-American man who wore a blue suit and a black tie came through, holding a clipboard, followed by Angelus came to the lab with three scientists. They were dressed in lab coats.

The man clasped his hands together, he grinned widely when he saw Drusilla.

"Hello, Drusilla," greeted Mr. Trick. "Welcome back to our world. I suppose you spent time with the humans, yes? Such a naughty girl you are."

Drusilla scowled at Mr. Trick. He began to study her carefully, but she remained still despite the intense examination. He backed away from her and turned towards Angelus and the scientists.

"I trust Drusilla has recovered fully," he remarked.

"Yes, sir," replied Mr. Angelus respectfully. "We performed a thorough examination, but I must warn you. Her soul needs to be removed."

Mr. Trick nodded and smiled, "Then let's get started, shall we?" He turned to his minions. "Place her on the table," he commanded.

The vampires placed Drusilla on the table, strapping her ankles and wrists, and head restraints down firmly. She couldn't move her body. Mr. Trick walked to the side of her table and cruelly smiled at her.

"It will only hurt a little bit," he assured Drusilla. "I promise you that."

Drusilla clenched her jaw tight. She stared back at him defiantly.

He laughed softly. "Oh, I'd like to see you try to resist. This will probably end up killing you. Or worse, maybe not kill you –" he shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly "–but it will certainly leave you incapacitated."

With those words spoken, Mr. Trick turned on the plasma machine and began the operation. As he did, Drusilla watched him carefully, analyzing his movements in case of a sudden movement. But all seemed fine. She wasn't sure what he was planning – she never knew – but whatever it was, she was confident she would be able to handle it.

The table raised up angle slightly, lifting her higher on the table as it moved. She could see the satellite of the ray gun aimed right at her chest. Just then, she felt herself beginning to panic. Mr. Trick turned on the knob from the machine, the plasma ball began to glow blue, whirring up to full power. Now he pressed the button, the blue beam straight through her body, she screamed in agony, tears welling in her eyes.

Her body suddenly jerked violently to the left, then to the right.

Mr. Trick grinned evilly. "I love seeing you suffer," he taunted. "Still enduring pain, I see."

Drusilla kept screaming, her body jerking wildly against the straps attached to the table. Her visions started to blur, her thoughts became fuzzy, and it felt like she was falling apart. All she could see was Mr. Trick's evil grin and his cruel laugh.

Finally, her soul came out of body completely, absorbed into the red orb in the center of the laser. She fell unconscious on the table and he turned off the machine, smiling maliciously as he did.

"Well done, Mr. Trick," said Mr. Angelus happily after he finished admiring Drusilla's tortured features and lifeless eyes. "You've certainly got a talent for torture. I never know when I'm going to come across some new material for my collection."

"Thank you, Angelus," said Mr. Trick with a wide smile on his face.

Angelus ordered his minions to release Drusilla from the table. They unstrapped Drusilla from the metal table and gently lowered her onto the floor. Drusilla lay there, moaning quietly. She stood up shakily, feeling weak, dizzy, and confused. She took a step forward but staggered, catching herself against the wall to keep upright. She opened her eyes, staring dazedly around the room, trying to remember how she'd gotten here. Then she looked at Angelus, who stood a few feet away from her with his arms crossed and his smirk plastered on his face.

"Daddy?" asked Drusilla in a hoarse whisper.

"Yes, baby. It's me. Come closer, Drusilla," smiled Angelus. Drusilla stumbled towards Angelus, stumbling on her way towards him as if she were walking on water. He cupped her cheek with one hand, tilting her head upwards, looking into her eyes.

"Drusilla, do you remember what I brought that gypsy girl?" Angelus inquired. "You were cursed by the Kalderash clan to have a soul. You can't die until it is extracted from you. Do you understand what I am saying, Drusilla?"

"I remember now," replied Drusilla, staring at her demon father, whose smile widened ever so slightly.

"Very good. Now your soul is gone, your body is no longer connected to your spirit. Your soul will disappear into nothingness." Angelus said. "And soon you will return to us. I am happy you are finally home, my sweet, precious daughter."

Drusilla hugged Angelus' torso and rested her head on his chest. "I've missed you, Daddy."

"I know, darling. And I have a surprise for you. You will see Matt and TK as vampires. Do you remember them?"

"Matt and TK?" repeated Drusilla, pulling back from Angelus, staring at him quizzically. "Who are they, daddy?"

"They are the ones who saved you, Drusilla!" exclaimed Angelus happily, his eyes gleaming. "They are your new family. And they will love you very much and protect you! Isn't that wonderful, Drusilla?"

Drusilla grinned, clasped her hands gleefully together, "Really, daddy, really?!"

"Yes, darling!" laughed Angelus darkly. "We're going to the cemetery tonight, and they will join us and we're going to destroy the world. Wouldn't you like that, Drusilla?"

Drusilla nodded vigorously and clapped her hands together again, jumping up and down and giggling happily. She had been missing her father so much during the past years, she hadn't realised just how much she had missed being with her real parents.

"Yes, Daddy! We're going to destroy the world!" yelled Drusilla, grinning from ear to ear insanely.

Darla rolled her eyes as she gazed at Drusilla from where she stood beside Angelus, watching Drusilla hug her father.

"Well, I hate to interrupt this adorable moment, but we need to go prepare for tonight," she said. "Are you ready, Drusilla? You'll be joining us, won't you?"

Drusilla turned her attention from Angelus to Darla.

"Yes, Grandmum," she nodded enthusiastically. "We're leaving now! I want to meet them now, please, please can we please leave now?! I miss them already!!!"

Angelus laughed, "Alright, now. Everything will be explained to you in a second. Now go get dressed." He waved his hand at Drusilla's outfit. "And make sure you put on some makeup, too."

"Okay!" exclaimed Drusilla excitedly. She dashed out of the room, closing the door behind her with enthusiasm.

"My minions, go to the cemetery and bring two boys in here. We want to make sure they're ready." instructed Angelus.

"Yes, boss," they responded in unison, turning to the door and exiting the lab, shutting it securely behind them.

Graveyard - 10:30 PM

TK stirred his eyes open. He was in the darkness, and couldn't see anything. He could feel something solid inside, he was in the coffin. He pressed his hands through the coffin lid and found it didn't budge. He began tearing the coffin lid's fabric, trying to crawl his way out. He fisted through the lid when the soil spilled from underneath him. He crawled his way out of his grave. TK stood up, he looked at himself. His clothes were filthy, covered in dirt. His skin was covered in dirt, as well. He looked where he was, he was at the graveyard. The moon shined brightly down on him.

"You've risen from your grave," TK heard a voice come from behind him. He turned around. There were five vampires appearing before him. TK backed away from them, and one of them walked toward him, Luke, smiling at him.

"Do not be afraid. My name is Luke. You are now one of us, and so is your brother," said Luke.

"My brother... Where is he?" he asked.

A hand popped out of his grave, he climbed out from the earth, his blue tuxedo was covered in dirt and soil. His blonde hair was filthy, as well. He opened his blue eyes and looked around where he was.

"Matt?" he heard his brother's voice where he once stood. He turned his head to see his brother

standing there. He was covered in dust and dirt.

"TK?" asked Matt.

TK walked toward Matt with a small smile, reaching up, and cupping his brother's face. He was so cold, yet so alive. Luke cleared his throat, causing Matt and TK to pull their hands away from each other.

"I hate to interrupt your brotherly reunion, but you will meet Angelus once again. You two now are vampires, and you have been granted the gift of the immortality we all possess," said Luke.

They both looked confused. "Immortality?" they asked.

"Yes, Immortality. Your powers are not like those of our kind. You are now immortal, but only for a short time."

"Then why did we just die?" asked Matt.

Luke smiled. "The reason Angelus and Darla sired you and you will work with us."

TK looked at Matt and used psychic communication with him, telling him not to join them.

"Matt, we don't want to do that. He's up to something. We have to save Drusilla. Just pretend we'll join them," said TK.

Matt nodded. "Alright, we'll join you."

TK asked, "So what's the plan?"

Luke grinned, "Our mission is to destroy the world. Our targets are the humans, and you'll get to kill them. You will be immortal, and able to drink their blood whenever and wherever. I'm certain Angelus will be pleased with your actions once he finds out."

They were silent and thought about everything they would need to bring this apocalypse. Angelus would take over the world, he wanted the human race eradicated. Luke knew that if the human race was exterminated then no vampire would be safe, and so many more would fall prey to their wickedness.

TK grabbed Matt's arm. "We can do it. No matter what, we're in this together."

Luke chuckled, "Excellent. Let's get in the van," he said. TK and Matt followed him back to the van, and into the back where the others were waiting for them. TK nodded at Matt, "Let's do this," he whispered.

"Hey, Luke? There's something I want to say," TK said, breaking the silence.

Luke turned back to look at TK. "What is it?" he asked.

TK grinned as he walked toward him. Luke was taken aback as TK stopped right in front of him, putting his hands on Luke's chest. He stared up at Luke with a grin, Luke could barely breathe.

"I really don't wanna work with you anymore," said TK, smiling. He punched Luke in the face, stumbling backward and landing flat on his butt. Luke rubbed his cheek and glared up at TK, "You little bastard!" he growled.

Luke ordered his minions to attack Matt and TK. The vampires charged at them while Matt and TK prepared themselves. TK blocked every blow he received from the vampires. He kicked at an unsuspecting one when one hit him square in the jaw. Matt punched another vampire in the stomach, sending him flying across the cemetery, and knocking him off his feet. As more vampires attacked Matt and TK, they started fighting back, kicking, or scratching at any vampire that got close enough. TK kicked the one in the gut, making him double over and land on his butt.

The bald vampire raised his fist to strike Matt, but he dodged out of the way, grabbed his fist, twisted it behind him, and grabbed his head. Matt's face morphed into a vampiric visage, his eyebrows disappeared and his ridge became visible. His eyes were blazing yellow with catlike pupils, and his mouth stretched out in a snarl, showing his sharp teeth. He bit the vampire's neck and he screamed in pain as his throat was torn apart. TK laughed as he watched his brother bite other vampires.

"A vampire bites other vampires," said TK.

After Matt was done devouring his victim, he pulled his mouth away and looked back at the rest of the vampires. They all stood frozen with fear as they stared at TK and Matt.

"I don't understand! Which sides are you on?!" yelled Luke.

"Oh, it doesn't matter what side you're on," TK said. "We're Digidestined, the chosen ones. And we have a long journey ahead of us to make sure nothing happens to our loved ones. You'll be dead by the end of the night."

As he finished his sentence, he grabbed a tree stake from the ground and stabbed a vampire straight through the heart. He dropped to the ground and exploded into dust.

"Traitors! Get them!" yelled Luke. A few more vampires came running from the shadows and attacked Matt and TK. Matt quickly killed three of them with his claws, while TK was staking them to their hearts, causing them into dust. Now all the vampires were dead except Luke was the only one left.

TK walked toward Luke, laying on the ground, crawling away from him. TK glared at him deathly. He pointed the stake toward Luke.

"Now... you're going to tell me where Drusilla is. Or else..." TK trailed off. He lowered the stake, pointing it directly toward Luke's chest. "I'll stake you."

"Why do you want to know where Drusilla is?" Luke asked. "Why would we tell you?"

"Because I'm the one that will give her a happy life, one filled with love and happiness," TK replied, looking straight at him. "And you won't tell me where she is."

"Okay, I'll tell you. Drusilla is in the lab, Mr. Trick removed her soul and she's back to her old self again," answered Luke.

"Her soul? Does that mean...?" TK trailed off.

"Yes, her sanity went to insanity. Drusilla came back to Angelus and worked with them. They have a great plan, which we will try and implement after we eradicate humanity from this world forever," laughed Luke.

TK's eyes became furious, he grabbed his collar and lifted him up in the air. He threw him against a tombstone, shattering it into pieces. The vampire lay on the ground, still alive, groaning in pain. TK grabbed his collar once again, leaned closer to him, glaring down at him.

"You know, you might want to watch where you speak. Because I know how to get her soul back. Izzy and I studied the ritual, and I'm the only one who knows how it works," said TK.

Luke's breath haggard. TK's morphed into a vampiric feature, his eyes were yellow with catlike pupils, fang lengthened from his mouth, and his fingernails were sharpened and dug Luke's neck, making him bleed a little.

TK bit Luke's neck and sucked on it for a while, enjoying the taste. When he pulled away, Luke fell to the ground, crumbled into dust.

TK turned to Matt. "That took care of that vampire."

Matt nodded. "Well then, let's go save Drusilla."

"Wait, Matt, we have to stay in motel tonight. We can't go out during the night without getting caught," said TK.

Matt furrowed his eyebrows. "You're kidding! Why?"

"Because people think we're dead. Plus, the last thing Angelus wants is anyone knowing about this. It is best if we go out and find Drusilla ourselves," said TK.

"You're right. Let's go to the motel then," agreed Matt.

Matt picked up the keys from the deceased vampire, they walked to the van parked next to the gravesite. They got in, and drove off, leaving the graveyard.
