"Say, what are the Pac-Man characters doing here?" Funky Kong asked Dry Bowser as they were in the audience, watching the race going on at Waluigi's stadium as several of the Namco characters were racing in the arcade version of the stadium racecourse.
"They're here to represent Namco, the guys who made the arcade Mario Kart games." Dry Bowser explained as he munched on some popcorn. "I'm surprised that they didn't invite Pac-Man to an official Nintendo made Mario Kart yet with how much collaborations they're doing with third parties. I mean, Namco even helped with Mario Kart 8."
"Hey! Don't go promoting Namco for doing a lazy job with that garbage!" Waluigi snapped as he drifted by, trying to catch up to Ms. Pac-Man, Blinky, and Mametchi, who all glanced back and giggled as they chucked several items at Waluigi, causing him to bob up and down and all around as most of the audience members laughed, with Dry Bowser and Funky Kong shaking their heads in disappointment at the deranged lanky human guy in purple.
And Waluigi was then pelted by more weird items. The guy just couldn't catch a break.
