Tsuna stared in shock as Timoteo entered the hall. He looked for Bermuda quickly, fear filling him before it quickly turned into relief when there was no sight of his demon. He always knew what to do.
That's always helpful. That means the headmaster didn't see that he did have a summon. Colonnello was still there though. There was a scowl on his face that only deepened when Belphegor stepped in between him and Tsuna.
Timoteo's eyes narrowed at Colonnello, "I would appreciate it if you didn't bother my staff." Even though his tone was sharp, there was that disgusting amusement in his voice as well.
The blond demon ignored the headmaster, "What's your name?" He asked the brunet, a grin slowly forming on his face.
Belphegor tensed at the question, "He won't answer that." He tightened his wires to be dangerously close to the demon's vital points.
Tsuna put a hand on Belphegor's shoulder gently, "Don't. He's Lord Colonnello, the Rain Arcobaleno." He warned his friend while looking at the demon cautiously.
The wires around the demon were easily destroyed. Colonnello then shoved Belphegor out of the way, "You know my actual name?" He asked excitedly, his face taking on the look of an eager puppy. A dangerous puppy nonetheless.
The brunet took a step back in surprise. He quickly glanced over at Belphegor, who was thankfully caught by Lussuria. He sighed in relief and reluctantly looked back at the blond demon. His blue eyes were glowing in a way that sent shivers down Tsuna's spine.
The headmaster stepped in, thankfully for once, and answered Colonnello's question, "Tsunayoshi is a teacher for demonic and human history," His smile became strained as he continued, "Though he teaches the lesser classes." His lips nearly twitched into a snarl
Tsuna narrowed his eyes at the last sentence, "Last I checked, headmaster," He began, "The so-called lesser classes have a one hundred percent passage rate while your upper classes barely break seventy." He feigned a sweet smile
Colonnello's feathers ruffled and he made a bird-like cooing sound. Mirth filled his bright blue eyes, "You just keep getting interesting, don't you?" His grin widened, his excitement visibly growing despite him only talking to himself.
Timoteo's lips twitched again, "Well, the upper classes are more difficult." He defended
The brunet ignored the demon that was getting closer to him, "They learn the same things, sir." He tilted his head slightly, "The only difference between the classes is the amount of mana the students have." He laughed slightly and hid his smile behind his hand.
Belphegor laughed a bit in amusement. Though, he was probably copying Lussuria's quiet laughter. That shove looked quite hard after all. Belphegor probably didn't even know what was going on right now.
Colonnello wrapped his arms around Tsuna's waist, "Can I keep him?" He asked no one in particular.
Bermuda's contract burned with rage and jealousy at the blond demon.
Timoteo was thankfully oblivious to what was happening. His smile sharpened though. His annoyance came in waves as he noticed a bit of tension entering the room.
And for a second, Tsuna mused the thought of calling him a senile old man that was never in the know. He might be spending too much time with Xanxus.
The headmaster's eyes were a mix between amusement and annoyed confusion, "No human can hold anything as powerful as you, especially for a contract." He responded to the demon
The brunet felt alarmed when Colonnello raised an eyebrow in curiosity. He hurriedly interrupted whatever was going to be said, "Headmaster, I wish to rest." He made sure his words sounded calm
Timoteo nodded, "It doesn't seem like the Rain Arcobaleno is leaving anytime soon, are you sure?" He looked even more amused by the situation and there seemed to be no traces left of the older man's prior embarrassment.
Tsuna tilted his head slightly, "That's fine," He feigned a smile, "He's probably just curious anyway."
The headmaster nodded his head in agreement and waved goodbye. He gestured for Lussuria and Belphegor to follow him.
Lussuria looked at the brunet in worry, "Will you be okay alone?" They asked softly
Tsuna smiled to reassure the person, "I'm never alone." He responded just as softly. Granted, he may have overreacted when Colonnello first showed up, but he knew damn well that Bermuda would never truly leave him alone. Especially with a demon like Colonnello.
The blond demon growled at that statement and tightened his hold around Tsuna's waist, his nose nuzzling the crook of the brunet's neck.
Lussuria sighed in relief and held Belphegor up, "Come on, sweetie." They whispered to the blond human.
As soon as the door closed, Bermuda reappeared and threw Colonnello across the hall, "I told you he's my summoner." He growled out, he held Tsuna close to his body while his chains pierced the other demon brutally, "Learn to take warnings."
Colonnello snarled at the other demon, "Oh please," He sneered, "You're of no threat to me," He grinned ferally in satisfaction, "Especially when he-" His taunting was cut off
Bermuda had sent another chain straight through the blond's head, "Are you sure about that?" He asked cockily, a snarl forming on his lips.
It wasn't enough to kill the blond, unfortunately. He was just severely injured, which probably wouldn't last long.
Tsuna felt disturbed by the lack of fight when he remembered something about the Rain Arcobaleno. The other half is always nearby, "Bermuda." He looked up at his summon in alarm.
The demon nodded his head sharply in understanding, "Hold onto me." He put his arms around the brunet's body while retracting his chains.
The blond immediately launched for Bermuda. His fellow Rain Arcobaleno, Lal Mirch, joined the fight from behind.
That was the last thing Tsuna saw before he was falling through one of Bermuda's portals. They were back in his apartment.
The demon began checking his summoner for any injuries. He sighed in relief when he realized that there was none, "Do you feel nauseous at all?" He asked, "Dizzy?"
Tsuna placed a hand against Bermuda's arm, "I'm fine, Bermuda." He stretched tiredly, "Can you make me some dinner though?" He smiled sheepishly
Bermuda smiled fondly, "Alright, only if you help." He began walking to the kitchen and felt his body relax fully when he heard his summoner following him.
The brunet bumped his shoulder against the demon gently, "Of course, I'll help," He laced his fingers with the demon, "I can't become too reliant on you."
The demon didn't respond with words. He let his emotions flow through their bond, 'You can rely on me as much as you want.'
Tsuna did the same as he fell back into their bond with ease, 'Always and forever?'
'Always and forever.'
The two of them silently made dinner together. They spoke through their bond as a way of comfort instead.
Words aren't always the best way of expression. They aren't always truthful.
Bermuda and Tsuna know from experience how much words can hurt.
Dinner was simple, thankfully. Maybe they were tired. Or it was the fact that Tsuna hasn't gone grocery shopping in at least two months. Now he won't be able to leave the house without Bermuda by his side for another five at the very least.
After moments of comfortable silence, Bermuda decided to break it, "Do you know how Timoteo was able to summon those two?" He asked the brunet after finishing his food.
Tsuna swallowed the last bit of his food and looked up at Bermuda, "No, I don't," He set his fork down gently, the slight clink against the plate cut through the remaining silence, "But I have a bad feeling about it."
He sighed as he reached into his bag for something, "You're not going to like what I have to do." He pulled out a case of chalk.
The rune on his shoulder burned with anger, "You're kidding, right?" The demon asked, his silver eyes darkening to a shade closer to black.
The brunet winced at his burning shoulder, "It's either this or we go talk to them in the demonic world." He whispered apologies through their bond.
Bermuda didn't give in, "Both options are horrible." He grumbled, torn between accepting the apologies or shutting Tsuna out. He was always like this whenever they only had two equally dangerous options, "They adapt quickly, Tsuna."
'Your shields and tricks won't work.'
The brunet stood up and went over to hug Bermuda from behind, "It doesn't have to be now," He reassured the demon gently, "Just soon, ok?"
The demon leaned into the warmth, accepting Tsuna's silent apologies with his own, "I know," He responded with a sigh, "I know."
Silence fell upon the room. Neither of them wanted to break the much-needed physical contact. This peace would have lasted much longer if it weren't for Xanxus bursting through the front door.
Tsuna looked over in surprise as his friend and pseudo-brother brought him into a tight hug that quite literally took his breath away. Not in a good way either.
Xanxus sighed deeply as he pulled the brunet away to have proper eye contact, "Are you alright, little brother?" He asked worriedly while slipping into Japanese, the language he knew Tsuna was more comfortable with.
Bermuda smiled gently at the scene as Lussuria began to check on him.
Lussuria was inspecting the demon's wings and horns, "Are you hurt anywhere? Bleeding? In pain?" The questions tumbled out at a rapid pace
The demon sighed in fond exasperation, "He was no match for me." He responded, knowing that the usually exuberant summoner would get the hint.
Tsuna watched the scene happily while both Xanxus and Squalo began to curse at each other. The brunet teased his demon through the bond about how domesticated he's become.
Bermuda raised an eyebrow in his direction. He huffed lightly in defeat knowing too well that his summoner was right.
Xanxus' yelling brought Tsuna out of his thoughts, "How did that old man contract an Arcobaleno of all demons anyway?" He angrily yelled
The brunet sighed, "I don't think it's a contract," He pursed his lips, "I think that it was just a summons."
Squalo raised an eyebrow, "Wouldn't that old man be dead then?" He asked in confusion
Tsuna shook his head, "There are things that aren't known to human knowledge," He began, "This is one of those things."
Bermuda pulled him into a gentle hug from behind, "It couldn't be though," He nearly snarled as he continued, "Colonnello and Lal Mirch are far too prideful, just like the others."
Tsuna nearly laughed, "So are you." He pointed out
The demon rolled his eyes playfully at his summoner, "I am," He started, "But we are contracted, unlike them." There was a slight snarl in his voice as he finished his sentence.
Xanxus cleared his throat loudly, "What is this thing we don't know about?" He asked impatiently
Tsuna looked at his pseudo-brother, "A deal is one way to call it," He thought for a moment, "Both sides have something the other wants and they make the exchange." He explained shortly
Lussuria pursed their lips, "I'm assuming that there is more." Their voice was full of worry
The brunet felt Bermuda take his hand and hold it tightly, "Well, if one of the parties breaks their side of the deal, there is a punishment." He felt his heart constrict as unwanted memories flooded his mind
Bermuda took over from there, though there wasn't much left to say, "The punishment is usually death," He began calmly, "The severity is up to the offended party though."
Silence fell in the room. It was a heavy silence that held this tense fear within it. Though it was nothing foreign to those in the room.
Xanxus sighed and sat down dramatically, "And here I was thinking that the rest of the day would be peaceful." He looked at the brunet blankly, "Why do you attract trouble?"
Tsuna huffed in offense, "I do not," He responded, "Besides, we aren't a peaceful group, trouble would have found us regardless." He huffed while leaning into Bermuda, the comforting warmth making him relax.
Belphegor snickered, "I personally like the trouble if I'm being honest." He grinned maniacally though there was an undertone of softness in his expression.
Lussuria nodded in agreement as they slowly rubbed circles into Belphegor's shoulder, "I don't believe our group would be the same without it."
For a moment, Tsuna blankly wondered when the others in the room started to move in different spots. He slowly felt his eyelids grow heavy as the talking in the room diminished until it was gone. The brunet's eyes closed fully, orange and black dancing with each other in his mind.
The two colors made Tsuna smile as he assumed the exhaustion finally caught up to him.
He's surprised he didn't pass out sooner since summoning seven high-tiered demons takes quite a bit out of him. Even if he is part demon, that much mana being drained can take quite a toll on him.
Tsuna could already hear Bermuda's lecture, even in this peaceful state, about how it's his own fault for working non-stop for the past couple of weeks.
Other than those few amusing thoughts, there was nothing else on the brunet's mind for once. He was at peace with that lovely, familiar warmth comforting him.
There was a sudden light in the distance that aroused Tsuna's curiosity. The light slowly enveloped him as the air in his body became damp, like the morning after a rain shower. It was rather refreshing.
He looked around and noticed he was ankle-deep in water, a sudden salty smell hitting him, reminding Tsuna of the ocean in the process. He let his squinted eyes open fully again as he slowly looked up.
What met him were bright blue eyes that oozed excitement and a bit of mirth as well. The accompanying grin and blond hair made Tsuna scowl.
Colonnello. Again.
The brunet sighed lightly as he took a step back, "You're very persistent, Rain Arcobaleno." He pursed his lips together and attempted to search for Bermuda's warmth, but started to panic when he couldn't find it underneath the heavy coolness.
The blond demon took a step toward Tsuna as his grin seemingly sharpened, "And you're a very interesting human," He paused, "Though, you don't seem to be fully human either, Tsunayoshi."
The panic increased but Tsuna couldn't seem to let it pass through, "Bermuda will kill you." He snarled angrily at the demon
Amusement made its way across Colonnello's face, "It's adorable that you believe he's capable of so much." One of his hands grabbed the brunet's waist, "It's a shame you're wasting your time on that fallen demon."
That irked the brunet. No one insulted his demon. He snarled again and glared at the blond, "He may have fallen in your eyes, but he is mine." Satisfaction made its way to Tsuna's body when Colonnello looked shocked by the brunet's words.
The demon had various looks pass through his eyes, mainly those of irritation. He looked past Tsuna with a scrunched-up face.
A freezing hand roughly grabbed Tsuna's shoulder, "Watch what you say." A rough, yet feminine voice growled into his ear, "We may like you, but that doesn't mean we won't still kill you."
Tsuna looked to his side slightly and saw Lal Mirch glaring at him with a deep scowl on her face. The water became colder the longer Tsuna made eye contact, but he could care less.
Colonnello immediately attempted to remediate the situation, "Lal, you'll scare him off if ya' threaten him." He complained while looking between the demon and the half-human worriedly.
His bright blue eyes filled with coldness as his gaze shifted to Tsuna, "But," There was a twitch in his lips as a bloodthirsty grin became present, "she's right regardless, Tsunayoshi."
The brunet felt a chill cascade down his spine each time Colonnello said his name. There was this eeriness to it that Tsuna couldn't explain. He opted to nod slowly, merely to appease the two demons, "What do you want?" He asked warily
The blond's grin settled into a faux smile that held none of the softness the demon was attempting to convey, "A contract." He answered simply, getting straight to the point.
Tsuna pulled a look of disgust, "Not in a million years." He spat out, his voice filled with disgust, "I only want one contract, and I already have it."
Coldness entered Colonnello's eyes again, "Fine, I'll convince you later though." His voice began to become quieter as warmth filled Tsuna's body again.
He sat up with a start, his eyes wide and burning a bright orange. He looked to his side where he felt a big hand tightly holding his hand, "Bermuda?" He stared into the silver eyes that held worry
Bermuda pulled the brunet into his embrace, "I tried getting to you sooner, I swear." There was some sort of desperation in his voice as he slowly descended onto the bed with Tsuna in his arms still.
Tsuna put a hand on the back of his demon's head, "I'm okay, everything will be okay." He reassured the demon calmly
Bermuda moved Tsuna to sit in his lap instead, his hand moving underneath the top of the brunet's shirt to press against their contract. He breathed out shaky breaths as he tightly wound chains around the two of them.
Tsuna said nothing, knowing that this is exactly what Bermuda needed. It's truly something else with how close they became over the years. He doesn't think that they could live without each other now. And that's alright.
The demon breathed out a shaky breath before getting off the bed with Tsuna in his arms. He didn't put him down and only continued to carry him down the stairs and into the living room.
He put the brunet onto the couch and began gathering blankets he could find nearby. The demon wrapped them around himself and the brunet while handing Tsuna the T.V. remote.
Tsuna accepted the remote and began flicking through channels while comfortably leaning into his demon.
One of Bermuda's hands kept a firm hold on Tsuna's waist while the other held onto the brunet's hand just as tightly.
Tsuna simply relaxed into the hold as warmth poured through their bond, making him wonder when Bermuda's mana started to feel so warm. It's been, what he assumes, a couple of years since the mana became a warm embrace rather than the cold interest and disgust from when they first met.
Bermuda nuzzled his face into the soft brown hair and mumbled a few words that Tsuna couldn't quite understand.
They stayed like that until nightfall. The moon's light gently shone through the window.
The brunet always liked the moon since it reminded him of Bermuda's eyes. He continued to stare at the moon sweetly.
The demon chuckled as he propped his chin up on Tsuna's head, "You'll make me jealous if you keep staring at the moon like that." They had long since turned the TV off in favor of enjoying the peaceful silence.
Tsuna smiled gently, "How can I not stare at the moon like that when it so closely resembles your eyes?" He asked as his English minor from college slowly slipped into his way of speech. He looked up to stare into Bermuda's eyes instead and kept his sweet smile.
Bermuda's cheeks slowly gained a pink tint that could be seen through the loose bandages, "It's moments like this that I wish you took a different course of studies." He paused in thought and smiled teasingly, "Like mathematics."
The brunet lost his smile as he rolled his eyes playfully, "You and I both know that I would have failed that horribly." A small grin formed on his face as he looked away from his demon
He was suddenly picked up by Bermuda causing him to squeal lightly, "Bermuda," He couldn't help the laughter bubble up as he was slung over his demon's shoulder, "Put me down." He continued laughing as he was ignored
Bermuda carried Tsuna up the stairs and made a left instead of the usual right to the bedroom, "You need time to relax," He commented quietly as he opened the door to the bathroom, "So take a nice bath while I make food downstairs." He kissed the brunet's left eye gently before kissing his right.
The brunet smiled sweetly as he watch Bermuda open and close the door. He paused as he touched one of his eyelids. His face became a bit red as he thought about it.
They're practically lovers. At least, that's what Bermuda had called them in front of his students.
Tsuna shook his head and pushed it to the back of his mind. He turned on the faucet in the tub and let it heat up while he undressed. He checked that the door was locked before slowly getting in.
He sighed as the hot water enveloped his body. Lately, he's only had the time to take quick cold showers. The academy had been hectic with finals coming up so soon and the brunet was running around trying to help his students to the best of his ability. So this is nice.
He felt weird for a moment and immediately sat up in the water. Another weird feeling passed through him. It was like a ripple of water.
The brunet slowly reached over to the pants on the bathroom floor that he left nearby and fished through his pocket to grab the knife he always had on hand.
Another ripple passed through him. This time, a cold hand followed.
Tsuna gripped his knife before carefully striking the air. He heard the connection snap and felt a satisfied smirk spread across his face.
It was definitely Colonnello again. This time, he was trying to find a connection through Tsuna's mana so that he could enter the house.
These damned demons have to stop underestimating the brunet. He's a top professor for a reason. Not to mention the fact that Bermuda would never bind himself to someone that was weak.
The brunet kept the knife in his hand as he continued to relax. He snickered a bit at the thought that Colonnello probably hit his ass when the connection was cut.
He couldn't relax any further after ten minutes and decided that bath time was over. He leaned forward and began draining the tub. The brunet got out and dried his body off so that he could go grab some clothes from his room. He wrapped the towel around his waist and opened the door.
Bermuda was waiting with clothes in his hands and a smile on his face, "I finished making food and thought that you would like something to wear." He said gently
Tsuna sighed fondly, "Thanks, Bermuda." He took the clothes from his demon's hands, "I'll be down in a minute." He promised while closing the door.
He knew that the demon was standing outside the door waiting for him. He stifled a laugh as he could feel the impatience flowing through their contract. The brunet slipped the shirt over his head and then put the loose pants on afterward. He put on some socks quickly before opening the door again.
Bermuda settled down when he saw Tsuna and smiled bashfully, "I didn't mean to hurry you, Tsunayoshi," He held a hand out for the brunet, "I just feel riled up after what happened earlier." He admitted with shame in his voice
The brunet smiled while holding back his amusement. He took Bermuda's hand in his own gently, "It's fine," He paused for a moment as he let Bermuda lead the way, "Don't you remember the first time I thought you were injured?" He asked with amusement clear in his voice
The demon huffed a laugh, "How can I forget?" He smirked as he guided his summoner down the stairs, "You were so frantic and worried about me at the time." He chuckled this time, obviously amused by the memory
Tsuna bumped his shoulder into Bermuda's shoulder as he let go of the demon's hand to move ahead of him, "Exactly," He looked back up at the demon that stopped on the stairs, "It's just how we are and there's nothing wrong with it." He turned around to go get some food that was waiting on the table
It looked great. Some pasta was probably dropped off by Xanxus and some sushi was most definitely from Takeshi. It did make the brunet wonder when this was all dropped off though. He was only in the bath for about twenty minutes at most.
Bermuda's hand rested on Tsuna's waist, "I was planning to attempt to make food but then food was dropped off for us." He huffed, obviously upset that he didn't get to try and make the food, "Didn't Yamamoto graduate from your class already?" He asked
Tsuna hummed as he grabbed a fork that was close by, "Mhm," He smiled up at Bermuda, "He likes to bring food still it seems." He paused before eating, "Perhaps he found out about the incident from today."
The demon grumbled something under his breath as he grabbed his own fork, "It seems he brought chopsticks too," He pondered it for a moment, "I guess that's thoughtful of him."
The brunet looked at the chopsticks on top of the container and smiled, "It's been quite some time since I've used chopsticks." He focused back on eating his container of pasta after a moment of reminiscing
He hasn't used chopsticks since Takeshi was still his student. The boy would bring him sushi every day and would brag about how his dad was the best at making sushi.
Granted, it was true.
Tsuna had never had such good sushi that it started to remind him of home.
Bermuda tapped the brunet's shoulder lightly, "Are you alright?" He had gotten closer than before and had a worried tone in his voice
Tsuna nodded, "I'm just a bit nostalgic." He put his fork down and turned to look Bermuda in the eyes, "We should probably talk about today though."
The demon gained a serious glint in his silver eyes, at least from what Tsuna could see through the bandages, "About Colonnello?" There was already an edge of protest in his voice
The brunet stifled his laughter for the second time that day, "No," He watched as Bermuda relaxed, "I meant about what you told my students."
The demon stilled, "...I apologize," He seemed to be getting nervous, if not a bit shy, "I was indulging myself." He admitted with shame contorting his face
Tsuna smiled lovingly as he ran a hand through the pitch-black hair, "It's fine, I didn't mind." He paused as he felt himself getting nervous as well, "I think that we should discuss being together like that anyway."
'Do you want me like I want you?'
Bermuda reached up and grabbed the hand on his hand to kiss it gently, "I guess we should." He responded slowly
'Of course, I do. I always will.'
The brunet felt his cheeks turn pink at the response Bermuda gave him through their bond, "Does this make it official then?" He leaned closer, his voice barely above a whisper.
Silver eyes bore into honey-brown.
The demon leaned closer, pushing their foreheads together, "I believe so." He kissed the tip of Tsuna's nose, then both cheeks, and finally his lips.
It was a chaste and sweet kiss. And it only took them about five years to get here.
Bermuda pulled away and continued to stare at the brunet hungrily. His silver eyes flickered with black specks. He was staring with an intense amount of want and need.
'Are you ready to go further?'
Tsuna felt a tad nervous at the thought of going any further. He was starting to feel guilty even though he hadn't responded.
'I'm not sure yet.'
And like a switch, Bermuda's eyes softened into a loving look, "That's perfectly fine if you're not ready," He kissed Tsuna's lips gently, "I am willing to wait an eternity if it's for you, Tsunayoshi."
The brunet melted into his demon's touch, "Same here," He said in a daze, "I'll also be willing to wait if it's for you." His response mimicked Bermuda's gentleness as he smiled against the demon's chapped lips.
Bermuda chuckled as he managed to look away from the brunet's eyes and at the food instead, "Let's save the rest of this for tomorrow, okay?" He looked back and was instantly mesmerized by Tsuna's eyes
The brunet nodded slowly and leaned back, "That would be a good idea." He stood up after a second of stretching, "Do you want to help with that?" He grinned teasingly
The demon huffed an amused laugh, "When don't I help?" He stood up and began closing the two containers with the pasta in them, "Go ahead and put these in the fridge." He handed the containers to his summoner while grabbing the sushi container himself
Tsuna walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge after stacking the two containers into one hand. He placed them inside the fridge and went back to grab the two forks that were still on the counter.
He washed them off in the sink before putting them in the dishwasher.
Bermuda was already closing the fridge and handing Tsuna the unused chopsticks, "I'll clean the table, so go ahead and put those into a drawer." He smiled with mirth dancing through his eyes.
The bandages were even looser than before.
Tsuna grabbed the chopsticks and turned around to put them away, "Do you need me to tighten your bandages later?" He asked curiously, closing the drawer quietly so as to not disrupt the precious atmosphere that had been created.
The demon hummed in response as he set the cleaning supplies to the side, "Perhaps in the morning." He responded while wiping the table clean
The summoner nodded in agreement, "It would be pointless to do that right now since we are going to bed, huh?" He asked rhetorically, already knowing the snarky answer he would have gotten in return if he was serious.
A quiet chuckle was all that he got in response.
A gleam of moonlight hit Tsuna's face, reminding him to close the curtains. He smiled softly at the silver moon one last time that night before pulling the curtains closed. A sigh full of relaxation and relief passed his lips as he turned around.
Bermuda was already done cleaning. He was efficient like always and Tsuna couldn't stop the amused crinkle in his eyes as his smile became wider.
The night ended like that. Peaceful.
Tsuna fell asleep in Bermuda's arms once they hit the bed upstairs. Those arms that were tightly wrapped around his body made him feel safe.
It was nice.
Very nice.
