Ch 19 The Final Confrontation

"Kopa stop!" Safara cried out as she tackled Kopa to the ground.

"Get the Hell off of me you bitch!" Kopa roared as he swung his paw at Safara. But Chafu and Nuka quickly ran to their friend's aid and pinned Kopa's paws to the ground.

"Kopa its us!" Nuka cried out as he and Chafu struggled to hold Kopa in place.

"We know you're in there buddy," Chafu grunted as he held Kopa's front paw in place.

"Of course I'm here you idiot!" Kopa snarled as he tried to bite Chafu's front leg. But Vitani and Kiara were watching and they quickly went to help the others pin Kopa's paws down while Jasiri took the opportunity to try and get through to her love.

"Kopa this isn't you!" the rusty brown lioness exclaimed as she took Kopa's face in her paws and forced him to look into her eyes. "This isn't the Kopa I fell in love with. You aren't this monster Kopa. You aren't Kion. You can't let him win! I can still see it in your eyes Kopa. I can still see the sweet, caring, loving lion I love. Please don't let Kion take what we have away from us! Please come back to me so we can get married like we planned and start a family."

"You...you still want to have a family with me?" Kopa said, his voice sounding like his normal voice. "After everything I've done you still want to be with me?"

"Kopa I love you," Jasiri said, nuzzling Kopa and giving his cheek a lick. "And I know you weren't yourself when you attacked Kovu and Kijana and his siblings. I know that was all Kion's doing."

"He's so strong 'Siri," Kopa whispered, closing his eyes. "I...I've been trying so hard to fight him and make him leave me alone. But...but no matter what I do or how hard I try I...I'm not strong enough to fight him."

"The Hell you're not!" Kiara cried out. "You're stronger than Kion could ever be Kop'! You can fight him! I know you can!"

"Oh no he can't!" a voice snarled. Kiara and the rest of the group turned just in time to see Dogo come flying in along with Tama, Sharka and the rest of Tama's Pride. Dogo tackled Kiara to the ground while Tama tackled Jasiri, Sharka took down Vitani and the other lionesses took on Nuka and Chafu. This gave Kopa a chance to get to his feet. The creamy brown lion just stood there with wide blue eyes as he watched the fight scene unfold.

"What are you waiting for?" Kion hissed. "Now's your chance. Attack! Kill them all!"

"No," Kopa hissed back. "I won't do it!"

"Are we back to this once again?" Kion demanded. "You should know by now its useless to try and fight me! I'll always win!" With that Kion let out an evil cackle and a searing pain went through Kopa's head, causing him to cry out in pain. Just then Simba and Zira arrived on the scene. "Ah perfect timing," Kion said with another evil cackle. "Now's your chance Kopa. Simba will never see an attack coming. Kill him! Now!" With that another wave of pain went through Kopa and he cried out in pain once again. Kopa's eyes flashed red briefly as Kion once again took over.

"Yes," Kopa said, his voice dark and low. "You're right. Now's my chance. I must kill Simba. Then I'll dispose of Vitani, Nuka and Zira. Then I'll take my place as King Just like it should be. With that Kopa crept up behind Simba, who was focused on helping Nuka at the current moment. Zira had gone to help Vitani fend off Dogo. Kopa got down low and extended his claws as he prepared to pounce on the distracted King. But Kopa was so focused on Simba that he failed to see Safara come up next to him. The tan coated lioness saw what Kopa was about to do and she quickly leapt into action.

"King Simba look out!" Safara cried out as she hit Kopa hard in his head, catching him off balance and sending him skidding across the ground. Simba turned just in time to see Safara hit Kopa and his amber eyes went wide with surprise.

"You bitch!" Kopa roared as he hit Safara as hard as he could, sending her flying through the air. Kopa wasted no time and grabbed Safara by her scruff and flung her hard into Zira, who was coming to help her mate. The two lionesses collided and fell to the ground unconscious.

"Zira!" Simba cried out, fearful for his mate's safety.

"Mom!" Vitani cried at the same time. This caused Nuka to become distracted, which gave Sharka an advantage. The grey coated lioness quickly hit Nuka hard in the back of his head, sending him to the ground. Wasting no time Sharka gave the light gold Prince another hard hit to the back of the head. Sharka went to hit Nuka once again but Kiara tackled her to the ground.

"Get the Hell away from him!" the dark brown lioness snarled as she hit Sharka hard in her face.

"Pathetic child," Sharka snarled as she wiped the blood away from her eyes. "You can never beat me. I'm older and more experienced than you."

"I'm not a child anymore Sharka!" Kiara shouted, glaring at the grey coated lioness. "I'm a grown lioness now! I wasn't afraid of you when I was a cub and I'm sure as Hell not afraid of you now!" With that Kiara let out a roar of fury and tackled Sharka to the ground and the pair rolled around on the ground neither one of them willing to back down from the fight.

TLKTLKTLK

Kopa meanwhile had his sights set on Simba once again. "Time to end this once and for all," Kopa snarled as he got into a fighting stance. Simba stared at Kopa with wide amber eyes as he back away from Kopa, not wanting to hurt him.

"Kopa I know this isn't what you want," the golden King said, making sure he kept his voice at a non threatening level. "You're better than this. You're better than Kion! I know you can beat him!"

"You have no idea what I want," Kopa snarled as he leapt at Simba, who quickly dodged to the side. "All my life I've been viewed as weak. Well those days are gone. I'm about to show everyone just what I am capable of doing!" Kopa let out a loud roar as he went for Simba again. The golden King tried to jump to the side but this time he wasn't quick enough and Kopa managed to catch his hind leg. Kopa wasted no time and bit down as hard as he could on Simba's leg. A crack was heard and Simba roared in pain. Kopa laughed cruelly and hit Simba hard in his side, tearing it wide opened. Simba once again roared in pain as the blood flowed. Simba mustered all the strength he had and kicked Kopa with his non broken hind paw, sending the creamy brown lion flying backwards. Kopa skidded across the ground but he quickly recover and was on his feet. Letting out a snarl Kopa went to attack Simba once again. But before he could he was tackled to the ground by an unseen assailant.

"No!" the attacker cried out. "I won't let you kill him!" Kopa hit his head hard on the ground and looked up at his attacker. Then his blue eyes went wide when he saw who it was looming over him.
