Total Drama Grand Prix Update 5
The screen turns on to show the main stage of the Grand Prix. But Margaret is nowhere to be found. Instead, someone completely new is on the screen. They about over five feet in length and has porcelain skin. They have wispy ash blonde hair in an undercut, with the long hair on top swept on one side. They also have wide dark blue eyes, and they have a slim and nimble body. They are wearing a tan trench coat with large pockets that look like they sewed them on themself, over dark blue leggings, and a bright yellow t-shirt, with hot pink and black sneakers. They also have look that is both curious and nervous to be here and were biting their nails in worry. But they eventually build up their courage and then they begin to speak. "Hello to all of Total Drama fans, Racing fans, Demolition fans, and any other fans out there in the world or beyond, This is your new cohost of Total Drama Grand Prix, Kit Shepard, at your service."
The screen transitions to a hallway in an unknown building with green and red vertical-striped wallpaper and several doors. Kit continues to speak while walking down the hallway, "For those of you wondering where Margaret is, well, she's talking to some of the producers in a meeting."
SLAM!
And unknown man is slammed into the door hard enough to go through the wood and the man lays there unconscious. Kit with a nervous giggle, continues, "…Yeah. So, I'll be going on ahead to introduce this round of applicants. So, lets get this done." Another slam is heard, then another. "QUICKLY!"
The screen transitions to a tan man over six feet tall and very lean and muscular. He has long and unwashed black hair and blue eyes. He's wearing a black shirt, black cargo pants, and black boots. Kit then quickly says, "Our first applicant of the night is Roman Raide? Like the wrestler? Are we going to put in wrestlers in this? Because in might be…" Before Kit could say anything else, they hear someone speak through their earpiece, "Oh. Just a coincidence? Well…alright. But we should see about getting some wrestlers in here." Kit lets go of the earpiece and starts speaking to the audience again. "Sorry about that folks. I've just received confirmation that Mr. Roman is not the wrester. Just a seventeen-year-old from America with two kids and is homeless…Wow this just gotten depressing!" Kit finishes in shock.
The screen then transitions to what is likely going to be Roman's vehicle. A black corvette that's been modified. Kit then introduces the vehicle. "Mr. Raide will be driving a corvette. Fast, durable, and perfect for off-road, but age has clearly taken its toll on this (wipes tear from eye) beautiful machine. And there are bound to be issues with the controls. Says here he wants to compete in Speed, but you know what, since it looks like Mr. Raide may need more chances, I'm putting him in the Survival Cup. I doubt he'll mind the change too much. He'll possibly get three more chances with this after all."
The screen changes again to the next competitor. A five foot six-inch-tall woman with almond shaped blue eyes and long blonde hair tied into flowing pigtails. She is also very muscular, though it's not really pronounced in any way. She's wearing a red and black checkered top with the same color pants, and black tennis shoes. Kit then introduces her, "The next applicant is Harley Queen. Okay. What's the deal with all of these copycats? Is this Total Drama Cosplay? All of the contestants dress as random characters? Hmmm…That might actually have some potential. Better write it down for Margaret later. (Kit then realizes they're still on air) Oh right. Harley is a prankster also from America whose pranks ended up her going to prison. She broke out, went to the circus and was kicked out for being too crazy. She's now searching to make new friends on the show and win the money for a fight club. Looks like recipes for disasters are on the horizon. But to be frank, those are my favorite kind of recipes.
The screen changes to Harley's vehicle. A purple, yellow, and green pogo stick with black handlebars, leg rest, and it has a motor in between where her legs are supposed to go. Kit looks at this in shock, until they said, "Harley is using a pogo stick with a motor for this? This looks amazing. I have to know how it works! Maybe I…" The earpiece rings and Kit hears a voice, and they groan in disappointment, "Looks like I'll save those questions when I talk to Harley. Man, I wish she was our interview of the day. But anyway, the pogo stick is obviously a walking bowling pin for many of the other cars here, and though it's apparently fast, it's very hard to stop once it gets going. But the stick is easily repairable and can jump through places other cars can't get to, and likely onto the cars themselves. Says here she wants to compete, in the Exploration cup? Sorry Harley, but I think you'll shine truly in the Famous Cup. Please don't prank me."
The screen makes another transition to a six foot 3-inch-tall male with a tan skin tone, a slender and athletic body, and almond-shaped dark blue eyes. He also has middle-length dark auburn messy hair, with a long side swept to the right and the back of his hair curls at the end, partially covering his neck, and he has a trimmed stubble beard. He is wearing a full length dark gray open winter overcoat that reaches to his ankle, with a transparent black deep v-neck shirt underneath. He's also wearing a pair of white jeans that has a light number of ashes on it, giving it a clean, but urban style to it, and it also appears on the right side of the leg, it is being held by two dark gray big belts separately. His jeans are held by two crossed dark gray belts, one that is small on the right side and a big one that has a unique design on the center in the form of a ribbon, which comes in the color of red and bronze on the left side, giving the form of a X. To complete the look, the man is also wearing a checkerboard low converse and lastly, he wears a checkerboard long scarf. Kit begins to speak, "Our next applicant is Beauregard Auclair, or 'Beau' for short. Known as the Speed King in his home country of France, he joins the race to prove why he's the best and to get out of his brother's shadow. As least that what I assumed. He always tends to throw things whenever a mention his brother's name. So, I'm guessing."
The screen does another transition to a vehicle. A Bugatti Bolide, a track-focused sports car developed and manufactured in Wolfsburg by the Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. It's a dark auburn and chrome color, with a dark auburn under glow. Kit then continues speaking, "Beau will be driving a Bugatti Bolide which he calls 'Abaddon', apparently to represent his 'endless' driving skills. His car is one of the fastest out there and has a powerful acceleration. He also has nitro oxide, spike trap, and a small EMP jammer. But the downside is that it's tough as toilet paper, and once it gets hit, it will be extremely difficult to repair. So, he might be doing himself a favor for signing up for the Speed Cup. Though he may have his work cut out for him during this race.
The screen transitions to the fourth and final competitor of the round, a five foot seven-inch-tall African woman with black relaxed eyes, slender build, and black hair tied into a bun. She's wearing a yellow sweater, long black pants, blue flats with socks, and a cyan beaded necklace. Kit then introduces her, "The final competitor of this round is Jaime Lomar. A taxi driver from Africa, She loves cars ever since she was a kid and enjoyed life out on the open road. She also happens to be our interviewee of the night. (Kit listen to their earpiece) And I just received word that Jaime is at our garage. So, let's go down to DJ for our latest interview."
The Screen transitions to DJ, who's wearing a blue jump suit, covered in oil, and holding a microphone in his right hand. He then says, "Thanks Kit. I'm here with Jaime who just came back into the garage after a day of work. How are you doing Jaime?"
Jaime just gets out of her vehicle, which is simply a yellow taxi. She then begins to speak, "Hey DJ. Glad to see that gave me someone respectable for my interview."
DJ blushes, but is smiling, "Aw…Thanks."
Jaime then says, "You're welcome, but to answer your question, I'm doing good, just taking my taxi around to make ends meet.
DJ, no longer blushing, replies, "So, you're not worried about risking your car before the day you compete?"
Jaime scoffs at this and put her left hand on her hip and her right in front of her, "DJ. Please. I know the inside and out of my baby. She'll be ready for when I need it. Plus, I still need money and it's how I can put food on the table."
DJ nods at this and replies, "Fair enough. Says here you're planning to enter the Famous Cup. Think your taxi can pull off the win."
"You know it!" Jaime immediately says, "My car is both fast, and has great steering. Not to mention a great drift, and extra strong tires."
DJ looks at the tires and see they were top-grade from working a lot in the garage, and could tell she's not lying, "I can see that." DJ says, But I can also see some noticeable damage like the hood and the roof. This been in a few crashes, I take it?"
Jaime shrugs and simply replies, "A woman's got to do what she's got to do to make ends meet."
DJ then says, "In that case, remind me to carry my blanky if I ask you to drive me home." Jaime nods, and DJ holds out his free hand and says, "Well, thank you for your time, Jaime."
Jaime shakes his hand in response, "Thanks for the interview."
DJ then says, "Back to you Kit."
The screen goes back to Kit, and they start talking, "And now, it's time to introduce the next two courses that are going to appear in the Prix. Let's see what they are!"
The screen shows several pictures of a purple pinball machine. But also shows cars running from giant white balls, cars bouncing off bumpers, and falling out of the machine after going into the holes, "Our first track is Pinball, a Famous Cup course that will test your reflexes and planning. Ball rolling toward you, several bumpers that can knock you everywhere, including against your opponents. And a chance to get dump off the course and lose all the points you have. Don't expect any mercy from this course.
The screen then changes to pictures to a green spaceship and several broken parts of a rainbow. Kit then continues talking, "But if you're more into consoles, then we have the course for you. Rainbow Spaceship is a mix of two tracks from two of the most famous go-kart series out there. The Speed Course track has a giant jump where you have to use to get on the rainbow track. That is broken, has no rails, and the spaceship is all to ready to launch its cannons and leave you in the void of space."
The Screen transitions again to Kit and they say, "Tune in next time to see more racers, more tracks, and hopefully more of me in Total…Drama…Grand…Prix!"

Sorry I'm late. I was waiting for a fourth application to complete the update. And as you can probably Kit Shepard is going to be cohost. Thank you to The Feline Overlord for allowing me to use them.
