Ch 20 A Surprising Conclusion

"Jasiri!" Kopa cried out, his blue eyes wide with surprise as he saw his future mate looming over him. "What the Hell do you think you're doing?!"

"Stopping you!" Jasiri cried out. "Kopa I love you and I won't allow you to kill King Simba."

"You really think you can stop me?" Kopa demanded, his voice coming out dark and low once again. "Please. You don't stand a chance in Hell of stopping me. I'm a lion and you're a lioness. I'm stronger and more powerful that you!"

"But you're not stronger than us!" a voice cried out. Kopa turned and saw Vitani and Nuka come flying through the air with Zira right behind them. The trio wasted no time and went to help Jasiri hold Kopa down.

"No one can stop me!" Kopa thundered as he struggled to break free. "I always win!" With that Kopa let out a furious roar and threw the foursome off of him and leapt to his feet. Letting out another roar Kopa attacked, aiming for Nuka, determined to kill him.

Meanwhile Chafu had succeeded in taking down Dogo and he was now facing off with Tama. But just then he heard Kiara roar in pain after being hit hard in the face by Sharka. "No!" Chafu cried out as he ran to help his friend. Tama went to stop Chafu but to her surprise Safara jumped in front of her, blocking her path.

"Safara!" Tama cried out, her blue eyes wide with surprise. "Move out of my way!"

"No I won't Mother!" Safara cried out, baring her teeth and extending her claws at Tama. "If you want Chafu then you're gonna have to get through me! But I'm warning you right now Mother I'm not gonna hold back on you! I know you're the reason that Kopa attacked Kovu and nearly killed him!"

"He did that on his own!" Tama shouted back. "I had nothing to do with that!"

"Liar!" Safara snarled. "You're a damn liar Mother!"

"I'm not lying!" Tama cried out. "I would never order Kopa to hurt Kovu. I know how much you love him and I would never take your love from you no matter what our differences may be right now the fact still remains that you're my child and I love you! More than anything!"

"Even more than revenge?" Safara asked, her voice at a normal level. Tama blinked in surprise and Safara continued saying, "If you really love me like you say you don then you'll stop this quest for revenge. Can you do that?"

"I..." Tama stammered, looking at her friends, who were still battling it out with Simba's allies. Then she looked at her daughter, who was looking back at her with pleading blue eyes. "Yes," Tama said softly. "I can do that for you Safara."

"Thank you Mother," Safara said with a slight smile. "Now lets go stop this battle shall we?" Tama nodded and together the mother and daughter went to stop the battle that was taking place.

Meanwhile Chafu had reached Sharka, who was about to deliver a death blow to Kiara's neck. "Mother stop!" Chafu cried out, jumping between his mother and Kiara. Sharka had to act quickly to stop herself from hurting her son.

"Chafu!" the grey coated lioness cried out. "What the Hell are you doing?! I almost killed you!"

"I won't let you kill my friend!" Chafu snarled, glaring at his mother.

"Chafu get the Hell out of my way!" Sharka hissed. "I don't want to hurt you!"

"Well to bad Mother!" Chafu hissed. "Because the only way you're getting me to move is to kill me! The real question is do you have it in you to kill you're own son?!" Sharka blinked in surprise but she quickly shook her head and raised her paw. But her paw shook and she quickly lowered it and let out a sob of defeat.

"I can't hurt you Chafu," Sharka said softly. "You're my baby boy."

"Give this up Mother," Chafu said, his voice having a normal tone to it. "Please. I...I don't want to see you get killed. Even after all the terrible things you've done. Please just end this now." Sharka looked at her son, who was staring at her with tear filled eyes.

"He's right Shar'," Tama said, coming onto the scene with Safara right behind her. Safara went to help Kiara to her feet. "This is done," Tama said. "Its not worth it."

"Yeah I know its not," Sharka said with a sigh. "I just wish I'd of seen that a long time ago." Tama nodded in agreement and the two lionesses looked over at their children, who were staring in disbelief at them.

"Thank you for finally making us see the light," Tama said, as she and Sharka went to nuzzle their children. But Safara and Chafu quickly pulled away from their mothers.

"Just because we don't want to see you dead doesn't mean we want anything to do with you," Chafu said roughly.

"Yeah," Safara snarled, glaring at the lionesses. "I don't think we'll ever forgive you for what you've done."

"We understand," Tama said sadly.

"Uh I think you guys might want to reign Kopa in," Kiara said, nodding towards Kopa, who was still fighting Simba and his family.

"On it!" Tama cried out as she raced towards the fighting with Kiara and the rest of the group right behind her.

Meanwhile Kopa had managed to take Nuka to the ground and deliver some painful blows to the Prince's face. But his victory didn't last long. "Get the Hell of my brother!" Vitani snarled as she tackled Kopa to the ground. But Kopa quickly shoved the Princess off of him and he hit her hard in her head, sending her to the ground unconscious.

"No!" Nuka cried out, his ruby eyes wide with horror.

"Vitani!" Simba and Zira cried out at the same time.

"Kopa stop!" Jasiri cried at the same time. Before anyone could stop her the rusty brown lioness threw herself between Kopa and Vitani. Kopa was about to hit Vitani once again but just when he was about to land the hit Jasiri jumped in front of him, taking the full blow. Jasiri's head snapped back and a sickening crack was heard.

"No!" Nuka cried out once again as he saw his friend's body crumple to the ground. By now Kiara, Safara, Chafu, Tama and Sharka had arrived and their eyes went wide with horror as they saw what just happened.

"Jasiri!" Kiara cried out, running over to her fallen friend.

"No!" Kopa cried out, his voice back to normal. "Jasiri no! Damn you Kion! Damn you to Hell!"

"She was the fool that got in our way," Kion said. "She got what she deserved!"

"No!" Kopa snarled. "That's not true! She didn't deserve that!"

"Well there's nothing you can do about it Kopa!" Kion hissed. "Nothing but finish what you started!"

"No!" Kopa thundered. "I won't do it! You may have caused me to kill the love of my life! The only thing I'm going to do is send you back to Hell where you belong!"

"I'd like to see you try!" Kion snarled. With that the searing pain went through Kopa's head once again. The rest of the group just watched all of them unsure of what they should do if anything.

"No!" Kopa grunted, closing his eyes in pain. "I won't let you take over again! I...won't...let...you!" With that Kopa let out a loud roar followed by a cry of pain. Then his eyes rolled back in his head as he passed out cold, leaving a confused group trying to figure out what had just happened.
