He… grew.
He grew far greater than imagined; in fact, many had assumed a demonic monster had come to this event on their own accord.
Kenjaku paused but smiled wickedly at the sight of him, Ryomen Sukuna stood a god among men!
However, compared to the reports he has read, there was no wild look on his face, in fact, he appeared very well aware of the world around him and spoke rather well for himself and very articulate. But how did he become so massive?
And his curse energy!
By the gods he had to be the strongest sorcerer he has ever seen, and yet… why is he like this? "Curse energy like that would corrupt those who cannot handle it, perhaps that is why when he was a child, he was so wild, he couldn't understand or control the energy he had…"
He kept to the shadows and watched on.
The results were not the least bit surprising to him, and yet, he was rather fascinated as to how well Sukuna moved and fought when it was the warrior phase of the test. He defeated everyone and was the only one left standing, however, despite his strength. He didn't kill a soul.
He could have done so with great ease.
But the next challenge, Kenjaku knew he had to see. How well did this sorcerer control his power?
Granted, those from the other regions were not pushovers either. Kenjaku even had a few of these men on his list to take over if given the chance.
Yet, with what happened next, he was nothing less than amazed as Sukuna summoned a domain… but it set no rules. He used it to attack!
No one saw it coming, no one understood how this worked, and yet. The domain was a sure hit. Those caught within were trapped, those trapped were struck down rather quickly and nearly instant.
But again, he spared those souls before he decreed he was done.
The Emperor offered him power and glory to stand at his side, Sukuna smirked and turned it down. "Acknowledge me as a lord in the Hida province!" he called. "It is all I ask, and it is all I desire."
No, he has to have more ambition than this!
Kenjaku needed more information and took a risk.
When the men disbanded, Sukuna was preparing to leave. "Going so soon?" he asked aloud.
He got his attention.
By the gods, his aura, his curse energy… it was remarkable.
"I have to, my family is waiting and I can't be gone too long. They tend to worry." He said gently.
Then he grabbed his head oddly.
"In pain?" Kenjaku asked.
"Yes," Sukuna said. "I tend to get headaches when I am gone too long from home. Mother Tooru told me that I needed a few more treatments and I'll be good from that moment on. Until then, I make certain I am home before they get worst."
"Indeed, it's best you be on your way then."
He got a nod from the monster sorcerer and he watched him leave. "Mother Tooru…" he said and yet, bore a devious grin. "Perhaps it's time I see through the opposite gender…"
