In Royal Woods, Michigan, a family is moving into their new multi-million-dollar mansion. This family had 2 kids, a boy and a girl. With them were their brother-in-law and niece. James Knudson is their oldest child, but he preferred to be called J.D. This story follows J.D. and his adventures with a family he's about to meet.

As J.D. left his new home to check out the new neighborhood, he told his dad he was leaving.

J.D. waved goodbye. "Bye, dad, I'm going to check out the neighborhood."

"All right, son, be safe, and don't be out too late," Sumner, his dad, added.

Once he left the house, he walked around the neighborhood to see where everything was. So, he missed nothing. After exploring everything, he ended up on a street called Franklin Ave. While he was looking at all the houses, one house stood out amongst all the others. This house was number 1216, and it seemed very chaotic. He just stood and stared at it for a while. "Man, that house is chaotic. Glad I don't live there."

He got a move on, but before he could get very far, he accidentally bumped into someone.

"Oof. Oh, man, I'm so sorry. Are you okay? I'm so sorry about that; I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

The boy that he ran into had stark white hair, and this kid's name was Lincoln Loud.

Lincoln waved the apology off. "Don't worry about it. I run into people all the time too. By the way, I'm Lincoln Loud. I've never seen you around the school before, so you must be new around here."

J.D. was relieved that his apology was waved off. As he introduced himself, he stuck out his hand for Lincoln to shake, and Lincoln took it. "It's nice to meet you, Lincoln. My name is James Knudson, but people call me J.D. And yes, my family and I have just moved here from Castle Rock, Colorado. We live in a mansion a block southwest of here."

J.D. took in Lincoln's reaction to where he lived. He was relieved there was no jealousy in his eyes. Once he mentioned where his house was located, he pointed toward where it was.

"Wow, that's incredible. Since you're new here, do you want to meet my family?"

As J.D. thought about what to say about it, he was touched. At least he'd be able to make some more new friends. "Sure, why not."

Lincoln took J.D. into his home. Once they got inside, J.D. couldn't help but notice that the inside of his house was about the same size as where he used to live.

Lincoln started talking, and J.D. snapped out of memory lane. "Welcome to my house, aka the Loud House. Let me give you a tour."

The first room they entered was the kitchen, where his parents were. The room had thick tension, since no one knew what to say first. J.D. noticed that both of his parents were average-looking people.

Lincoln broke the tension and introduced them to each other. "Mom and dad, I'd like you to meet someone. This is J.D. Knudson, and he has just moved here from Castle Rock, Colorado."

The dad broke the ice. "Well, J.D. It is nice to meet you. My name is Lynn Loud Sr., and this woman next to me is my beautiful wife, Rita."

J.D. shook hands after that friendly welcome. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Loud."

Rita smiled as she spoke next. "Please call me Ms. Rita. So how do you like it here in Royal Woods?"

"I like it so far," replied J.D.

"Welcome to the neighborhood," Lynn Sr. added.

"Thanks," J.D. replied with a smile.

"Come on, J.D., I want to show you our pets," Lincoln said, tapping him on the shoulder.

"Alright, it was nice meeting both of you," J.D. responded.

"The pleasure was ours," Lynn Sr. replied.

Lincoln took him back into the hallway, where some of their pets were grooming themselves. The pets were a dog, cat, canary, and hamster. "These are our pets, Charles, Cliff, Walt, and Geo," Lincoln explained. "We named them after cartoon characters."

Once J.D. saw the pets, he couldn't help but notice they were all so cute. "Aww, they are all so adorable."

Lincoln smiled at his comment. "Thanks. Come on, let's let them do their thing. I want to show you my room."

So, they left the pets to do their thing and went up the stairs to Lincoln's room. Once they went inside, J.D. couldn't help but notice how small it was, but it also had lots of interesting stuff.

J.D. told Lincoln what he thought of his room. "This room seems rather small."

Lincoln didn't seem to mind what he said. "It's a converted linen closet, but it suits me and I'm happy with it."

J.D. just shrugged at this. "Whatever works for you. You have a lot of cool stuff."

"Thanks, man, did I also mention that I have 10 sisters," Lincoln replied.

Once Lincoln said this, J.D. was shocked and surprised. " You have 10 sisters? Holy Guacamole!"

Lincoln looked a little sheepish. "Yeah, I know. Would you like to meet them?"

J.D. answered, "Sure, why not," after getting over the surprise.

They left his room and went over to another room. This room had a laboratory and a crib. Lincoln introduced him to the youngest sibling, who was a baby. "This is my baby sister Lily. She's 15 months old."

Once J.D. saw her, he thought she was the cutest baby he'd ever seen. "Aw, she's so cute."

At that moment, Lily looked like she was about to cry, since he was a stranger to her. J.D. saw this and instantly knew what she wanted. "Oh, I think I know what you want."

J.D. looked around, saw a blankie nearby, and handed it to her. She instantly calmed down once she got her blankie.

Lincoln noticed this and smiled. "You seem to be great with babies, J.D."

J.D. chuckled. "I've had some experience with my younger sister." He picked her up and started talking baby talk. "Do you want to see some silly faces?" So, he made lots of silly faces, and she laughed.

"Wow, you're good at that," Lincoln remarked.

J.D. stops making silly faces and puts Lily back in her crib. The next sibling came in a moment later, and she shared the room with Lily.

"Greetings, brother," Lisa began. "Who is this you have with you?"

Lincoln smiled. "Hey Lisa, this is my new friend J.D. Knudson. J.D. this is my sister Lisa."

"Nice to meet you, Lisa," J.D. said.

"Lisa is the genius of the family," Lincoln explained. "She's 4 years old, she already has a P.H.D. and won a Nobel Peace Prize."

J.D. whistled. "Wow, that's great. I noticed a bunch of high-tech equipment in here. Are you trying to invent every cure known to man to help benefit all of mankind?"

Lisa nodded. "Precisely, and I've just come up with a cure for Escherichia Coli, street name: E-coli."

He couldn't help but be impressed with that. "Wow! That is amazing."

Moments later, a high-pitched scream was heard from another area of the house.

"LAAANAA! STOP IT!"

"Make me!"

When Lincoln heard this, he groaned and muttered, "Well, we've got another twin fight on our hands."

J.D. was in awe. "Twin sisters and a fight? Neat."

They said goodbye to Lisa and Lily and left the room. They went to the room where the twins were fighting. Once they arrived, they saw the twins fighting, but an enormous cloud was forming around them.

J.D. looked in disbelief at the cloud where the twins were fighting. He couldn't help but stare. "Does this happen often?"

Lincoln sighed again. "Unfortunately, it does."

Lincoln stopped the fight so he could introduce them to J.D. He went over to the cloud formed by the twins and grabbed each of them by the scruff of their shirts. They squirmed a little, but then they stopped. He then put them on the ground. "Guys, I'd like you to meet my new friend J.D. He just moved here."

J.D. was amused at how he stopped it and said, "It's very nice to meet you both. Can you tell me a little about yourselves?"

One of the twins went first. "My name is Lola Loud. I love tea parties, the color pink, and photoshoots. I also like to compete in beauty pageants."

"Yes, I can tell," J.D. replied. "I also noticed you have a lot of pageant crowns and trophies; you have a lot of talent."

Lola beamed. "Aw, why thank you, J.D., that means a lot."

Next was the other twin, not wanting to be left out. "My name is Lana Loud. I like mud and animals, and I'm also a handyman." She takes a business card from her overalls and gives it to J.D. "I fix toilets, sinks, showers, and automobiles."

J.D. whistled, "Wow, that's impressive."

Not a second later, a frog jumped on Lana's shoulder. "This is my best friend and pet Hops."

"It's very nice to meet you, Hops," said J.D.

Hops high-fives him with his tongue.

"Both Lana & Lola are 6 years old and they have very different traits."

J.D. just shrugged it off. "That's fine by me."

Not a moment later, the next youngest sibling came into the room to ask Lincoln something.

"Hey Lincoln, can I ask you something?" the girl asked.

"Sure thing, Laney," Lincoln replied. But, first, let me introduce you to someone. This is my new friend J.D. Knudson. He just moved here from Colorado. J.D. This is Laney. She's 7 years old, and she is the artist of our family."

"It's a real pleasure to meet you, J.D.," said Laney.

"Likewise," replied J.D."

"Sorry J.D. I guess I miscounted," Lincoln apologized. "I have 11 sisters, not 10."

"That's alright man," J.D. assured him. "That happens to me, too. So, Laney, what kind of pictures do you paint?".

Laney took them to her shared room and showed J.D. her paintings. Looking at them, he noticed how beautiful and talented she was.

"Laney, your pictures are very beautiful." J.D. complimented her.

"Thank you very much," Laney said, blushing.

"So Laney, what did you want to ask me?" Lincoln asked.

"I'm so sorry, I forgot," Laney apologized.

"That's alright, it happens to me too," J.D. assured her. "I hate it when that happens to me."

The next youngest appeared out of nowhere and terrified them as a pipe organ played as she approached.

"Hey, Lincoln."

"Hey Lucy, this is my new friend J.D.," replied Lincoln as he caught his breath.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lucy," J.D. greeted. "I'm guessing you're into vampires and other dark stuff?"

"That's correct," replied Lucy.

"I'm a huge fan of the band Within Temptation," J.D. explained. "They're awesome."

"That's interesting," Lucy replied. "I'm into poetry and I also have my own funeral service."

Lucy handed him a business card that read Lucy's Lament.

"Lucy's Lament," J.D. read out loud. "I'll have to contact you when one of my family members passes away."

"Thank you," replied Lucy. "Also, I need a word that rhymes with "rain."

"Poetry isn't really my thing, but I know a few words," J.D. explained. "How about gain, drain, train, or chain?"

"Thank you," she replied and walked away.

"Lucy seems pretty cool," J.D. remarked.

"Yeah, but to me, she can be spooky," Lincoln said, shivering at the thought.

"Well, that's fine by me," replied J.D., since he had no problems with that.

Outside the room, someone yelled, "Heads up!"

A football flew into the room, and J.D. caught it by instinct.

"Wow!" exclaimed Lincoln. "You have quick reflexes."

"Thanks," replied J.D.

The next sibling came into the room.

"You caught my football? Cool."

"Lynn this is Lynn. J.D., this is Lynn," Lincoln said. "She is 13 years old and a sports enthusiast and athlete."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," J.D. remarked.

"Same here," Lynn replied.

She shakes his hand, and he notices she has a firm grip.

"Wow," J.D. said. "You have a firm grip. What sports do you take part in?"

"Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Football, and Hockey, to name a few," answered Lynn.

"Wow," J.D. remarked. "You have a strong interest in sports. I spend a lot of time watching football and baseball on television. However, I primarily watch crime documentaries."

"Neat," Lynn replied.

"Come on, J.D., there are still a few sisters to meet," Lincoln said.

As they were about to enter the next room, Lincoln drew out an umbrella as a bucket of water poured down on them. The water did not soak them.

"The old water bucket over the door trick," J.D. said, smiling. "That is a classic."

"Come on Lincoln. I thought we were Pails." A rimshot played, and then she laughed.

"That was a good one," laughed J.D.

Lincoln groaned at the joke. "J.D. This is Luan. She's 14 years old, and she is a jokester."

"It's a pleasure, and I can tell you've got a great sense of humor," said J.D. politely.

"Thank you. I have a," she then shook his hand and had a joy-boy buzzer in it, shocking him. "Shocking Personality." Luan laughed, and they heard a rimshot. "Get it?"

"You are very funny!" laughed J.D.

Luan showed him the joy buzzer. "Thank you. I know what buzzes you." Another rimshot was heard, and she laughed.

"Lincoln, Luan is Hilarious!" J.D. starts laughing hysterically. "Call a doctor! I'm about to bust a gut!" he continues, laughing.

"Luan, J.D., just moved here from Colorado," Lincoln explained as he interrupted the two.

"Wow, that's amazing," Luan gasped. "I've heard it's beautiful there."

J.D. calmed down a bit. "I'm sorry about that. I got a little carried away, and Colorado is beautiful. The mountains are gorgeous."

Electric guitar music played in the hallway, and they saw the next oldest sibling playing.

J.D. saw her playing, and that she was very good." Rock on, Dudette!"

Luna turned, saw him, and stopped playing. "Thanks, Dude!"

"Luna, this is J.D.," Lincoln explained. "He just moved here from Colorado. Luna is 15."

"Pleasure to meet you, Luna," J.D. politely said.

"Likewise, dude," Luna nodded.

"So I take it you're the rockstar of the family?" J.D. asked.

"Yes, I am," Luan replied. "My idol, Mick Swagger, is my inspiration, and it's Rockin!" She then strummed her guitar. "Yeah!"

"Rock on!" J.D. shouted as she continued to play.

So, they went on their way to the last room, and before they went in, the second oldest sister came out.

She looked at the two in confusion, since she had never seen J.D. before. "Oh, hello there. Are you Elvis?"

"No, I am not," J.D. replied. "However, many people believe I resemble Elvis reincarnated as someone else."

Lincoln face-palmed. "Leni, this is J.D. He just moved here. J.D. This is Leni. She's 16 years old."

"It's a pleasure," J.D. nodded.

"Same here," replied Leni.

"You really are pretty, Leni," J.D. told her.

"Oh, why thank you, J.D.," blushed Leni at the compliment.

She left after that and went on her way, and they saw the last sister as they entered the room. She was too busy texting on her phone to notice they had entered.

"Hey Lori," greeted Lincoln.

"Whatever it is you want, I'm busy right now," replied Lori, who was irritated about being interrupted from texting.

J.D. introduced himself. "You must be the eldest sister. My name is J.D. and I have just moved here from Colorado."

"Oh. It's a pleasure," Lori replied, putting her phone down. "I'm Lori. I was just texting Bobby."

"I take it he's your boyfriend?" J.D. asked.

"Yes, he is," Lori dreamily said.

"Lori is 17 years old, and she's the bossy one," Lincoln explained.

"I see that," J.D. noted.

"How is Colorado?" Lori inquired.

"The mountains are breathtaking," J.D. explained. "I adored Colorado and spent my entire life there. I think I'm going to fall in love with Royal Woods even more. I need to get home and finish moving into my massive mansion."

Everyone came out of their rooms, stunned by what they had heard, and began bombarding him with questions.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! One at a time, people," said J.D., overwhelmed by the questions.

"How did you end up with a mansion?" Lola asked.

"My family and I won the Colorado Lottery jackpot and are now filthy rich," J.D. answered.

"Can you show us where you live?" Lori asked.

J.D. shrugged. "Sure, why not."

He led the Loud family to his family's huge multi-million dollar mansion, and they were in awe when they arrived.

J.D. smiled when he saw their reactions. "Welcome to my Humble Abode."

"You live in the old Morbucks Estate?" Lori asked.

"Yep," confirmed J.D. "I'm guessing that they were the previous owners of this mansion?"

"Yeah," Lola continued. "Princess Morbucks was the most spoiled, rotten, and snobbish child in Michigan; she attended our Royal Woods Elementary School before becoming homeless because of several crime sprees."

"Their property was seized and they were evicted and forced to live on the streets," Lisa explained.

"I despise people like that," J.D. said, disgusted. "She got what she deserved."

Inside his home, J.D. showed the Louds around, and they saw all the many numerous rooms that it there, and the Louds were amazed at what they saw, and they were speechless.

After the Louds returned home, J.D. unpacked his belongings and went to bed.

"I think I'm going to love it here in Michigan," remarked J.D. as he lied in his bed.

THE END.
