The next day…
Toshi arrived at the studio with Sukuna.
Sukuna sneered at everyone around him and didn't want to be there. "Why did the knock off ask us to come here?" he muttered below his breath.
Toshi didn't know either, but Suiryu appeared determined. In fact, they have been waiting in the lobby now since Suiryu had a session first with D'angelo. Why Nobara and his daughters came along, neither knew. Sukuna could care less!
But in three hours, he returned, much to Sukuna's dismay.
"We're wasting our time here!" he protested. "Why the hell did we have to wait!"
Suiryu smirked. "First off, shut the hell up. Second of all, follow me."
Sukuna scoffed once more as they got up from their seats. One of the reasons why they didn't move about was because Sukuna drew too much attention. People were constantly whispering about him and wondering if he was a model or new bodyguard to a model!
Toshi felt like the odd man out.
But either way, they followed Suiryu down the hall to a studio. There was an odd stage set up and various looking brewing equipment. "Where's your wife and brats?"
"Nobara and the girls went home after we finished. D'angelo wanted us to do a photo session with the girls since he couldn't do a maternity one."
"Why?" asked Toshi.
Sukuna, snorted a laugh. "Really? You're asking THAT question?"
"Shut it!" Suiryu snapped back.
"Darling, he wouldn't let me NEAR Nobara in her condition, I tried but he got too…" Toshi jumped as D'angelo came out of nowhere, but the last part of his sentence when he referred to Suiryu acting weird, he kept nudging his head towards Sukuna.
Perhaps he means that Suiryu gets rather angry like Sukuna… Or he becomes as dangerous as Sukuna when it comes to Nobara…
Mental note, don't mess with Nobara or any of Suiryu's kids!
"What is all of this, Suiryu?" Toshi asked as he peered about the studio.
"He didn't tell you? Darling, we're shooting your commercial!" D'angelo explained.
"Huh?" Toshi and Sukuna asked.
"You can't make money if you don't advertise, and you need to advertise to make the money. Just see this as a favor you owe me later!"
"But, we're are just working out our product…"
"You're more than ready," Suiryu said. "You know I don't drink ALL the sake I am permitted to right? Three bottles a week is the agreement I made with Uba. As such, I spread them around. I've offered some to the divine as well… they LOVE it."
Sukuna was confusion.
"The divine enjoy something made with curse energy?"
"Well, it's not infused in the drink, so it doesn't alter the taste, your methods are true. Besides, mom loves this stuff as well, it's only natural that the divine do as well."
"Also. Hon, I know we have talked about this…"
"Yeah, yeah, I am working on it." Suiryu muttered back.
Toshi didn't quite know what they meant but wasn't going to pry into it.
"So, what's the plan for the commercial?" Toshi asked.
D'angelo jumped right on the question. His vision was to have Toshi dressed in traditional clothing, he will be playing the shamisen. And in between him playing, he is going to do action shots with Sukuna brewing Sake. "We're going between the two to highlight the tradition of making Sake, and the intense work needed going into the product. So you, Uba, strip!"
He was rendered shirtless instantly, Sukuna didn't hesitate to rip off his shirt.
"I wonder what your wardrobe budget is…" Suiryu muttered. "Not to mention, you got to pay my bro back for all the clothing you ripped on him!"
"Tch…" Sukuna muttered as he went over to the prop equipment.
"Also, what's your logo?" D'angelo asked.
"Logo?" Sukuna and Toshi asked at the same time. But, that was fair to ask, brands need a symbol… Toshi paused but smirked. "The mark on Suiryu's forehead. Let's use that!"
Sukuna oddly enough agreed to the idea.
"Hmm, it's screams too much of him…" D'angelo said offhandedly.
"BUT" D'angelo approached Suiryu, the small gab between the two main parts of the mark, he made a small marking of his own connecting to the black dot that hovered just between them. He lengthened it and then gave it a bit of a twist at the end.
"It almost looks like a dragon…"
"Again with those damn lizards…"
"What was that?!" Suiryu snapped back.
He went silent.
"But that works, the outer part of the marking looks like wings." Toshi said offhandedly. "We can't let your original marking be seen too much right? Granted we are already pushing it with what we are going for now…"
Sukuna sighed but agreed. "Still, why does it have to be a damn dragon… it was HIS idea wasn't it?" he demanded and glared at Suiryu.
"Now, now we are wasting daylight. Toshi, with me. Uba, look sweaty."
