"This is STUPID!"

"Not as stupid as you, sit your ass down!"

He was acting out again. Naoya was protesting and he has gotten worst as of late… well… ever since Suiryu put a little bug in his ear. Before, after his spar session with Sukuna was over, Naoya was rather obedient for a while. But then, Suiryu had to say something aloud.

"You know, there is a way for a curse spirit to alter energies." He said offhandedly one day, it must have been after Naoya was complaining that he can't do the things he use to anymore.

Yet the moment he heard Suiryu utter those words, he grew curious. "Really? Alter energies, what would that even do?" he asked aloud.

Suiryu's smile grew wicked. He leaned in and whispered. "You wouldn't be a curse spirit bounded any longer if that's the case."

"What?" Geto asked curiously. "You mean a curse spirit can…"

"Under certain circumstances yes. The method I am speaking about is going from a curse spirit to a divine creature. They have far more freedom and they won't be trapped by your technique, but…"

"BUT!" Naoya demanded.

"The thing is, you have to sacrifice your power. In exchange, you are given divine power. Don't know what kind, it's whatever is drawn to you…"

Geto was getting suspicious.

"And why mention this now?" he asked curiously.

Suiryu shrugged his shoulders to it all. "Something to do at the moment. I'm on baby call so Nobara can sleep."

"Huh?" Geto and Naoya muttered.

Suiryu held up a baby monitor. "Always on call, Muta jacked the range of this thing so I can hear my girls no matter where I am!" he said proudly, just as he heard a fussy noise come over the speaker. "Duty calls…" he excused himself, ever since. Naoya has been obsessed with how to break free from being a curse.

It's gotten so bad that Geto is forced to let him out half the time, Naoya goes off and tries to research how it is done, which, according to Maki from a while ago, was 'very out of character for him'.

Apparently there was a book Naoya found, that he can do this, but his curse energy has to be expelled so divine can enter. "The energy cannot be destroyed or released into another curse… so it has to go elsewhere to someone else."

"Too bad Yua is pregnant, I sure she would have taken it." Geto said offhandedly.

"She already knows my technique!" he snapped bitterly. "Damn Toorus, think they are better than everyone else…"

Geto smirked since he knows that isn't true. Despite her pull around here, Yua could rule this place with an iron fist. Yuuji and Suiryu won't go against her and she has Gojo as a husband and Sukuna literally wrapped around her pinkies.

"What if I took it?" Geto asked offhandedly. "I mean, could I do something like this, extracting the technique or ability…"

"Oooo someone is thinking about expanding their technique?"

The two jumped. Naoya was quick to hide behind Geto as Sukuna came out of nowhere.

"I don't think it's possible though, it's just an idea."

"Yet, you think it's feasible?" Sukuna asked curiously. "Part of a sorcerer's ability is to better understand their methods. If you think this is within your realm of ability, you would be a fool to not explore it."

Suddenly, he took a seat. "Let's see what you have in mind…"

Geto paused as he peered at Naoya. "Well, my main ability is to tame curse spirits, but now I am able to obtain their power as my own without having to destroy them and merely having it for one shot. If that's the case, should my ability be able to take the power OUT of a curse spirit?"

"Why ask this all of a sudden?" Sukuna questioned. "What's the main purpose of this… or is this for his sake?" as he glared at Naoya.

"What does it matter to you?" Naoya snapped back. "I don't want to be bounded to him! I want out of this!"

"So…" he asked in a slightly confused tone. "How did it come to this?"

Geto explained the whole situation, when he mentioned Suiryu said something offhandedly about it, he got the jiff of it apparently. There came a smirk on Sukuna's face… almost as if he knows what's happening now.

"I see, expel your curse so the divine can enter is it? I might as well assist you on the matter."

Geto… froze.

"Assist us?"

"Looks like fun," he said as the devious grin continued to spread over his face. "Not to mention, seeing that asshole torture himself to break free… of course it's going to be fun!"

Since then, Geto has had a training partner with this.

They have been at it for only a few days now, but Naoya insists on training whenever possible.

Geto is understanding a little bit more about what needs to be done, but he has struck a wall recently. Sukuna has been silent on the matter, he merely watches oddly… it's enough to get one's skin to crawl.

Yet as they were about to begin today's lesson. Sukuna was on his way to his brewery when he saw them training. For the most part he sat in silence and watched on as Geto trained with Naoya, but paused as he saw three of Gojo's students approach.

"Something wrong?" Geto asked.

"Curious," Maki said offhandedly as she peered at Naoya.

"What does the monkey bitch want?!"

SLAP!

No one moved, in fact, everyone was stunned as Sukuna of all people… smacked Naoya... into a tree. "Watch your tongue," he simply stated.

Geto was even stunned. "I think I stick with my form of punishment should I use that word out of context…" but he paused. "Why did you hit him?"

Sukuna glared at Naoya as he was still lodged in the tree. "He insults the Tooru family as well." He simply stated. "I knew many of them with no curse energy or technique… how do you think I got as strong as I am?"

This… made everyone pause again in shock. "Bento flakes…"

"Took the words right out of my mouth…" Geto muttered. Quickly, he shifted his focus back to the students. "Ahem, can I help you with anything?"

Maki peered back at Naoya. "You two have been acting weird for a while, I was curious as to why, I mean, I can see Naoya's curse energy leaving him, but it stops at a point…"

"It does?" asked Geto.

"It took her to notice and you didn't?" Sukuna snapped back.

"Why didn't you say something?"

He shrugged. "You never asked, not to mention, the lessons never stick as well if I flat out told you. Even the three mouthed brat learned that…"

Geto shook his head as he turned back to Maki. "Would you please tell me what you saw… what I over looked?"

She was rather taken aback by the request. Then again, Geto recalled the time he kept calling her a monkey in front of everyone…

She sneered a little, but said. "You can't take all of his energy out, there was no divine energy to replace what was taken. It's why you keep hitting that wall, you can remove most of his power, but need something more to extract it. You are better off asking an Itadori for assistance."

Geto nodded in understanding, it does make sense. Should a curse lose its power… it dies. So that is why it's always held back, why he can't extract it. But the question remains… how does it make Naoya a divine creature?

"Hey dork, what are you dweebing?" Geto rolled his eyes as Suiryu appeared. But he paused to see Naoya in a tree. "Ooo, your handy work Maki?"

"Can't take credit…" she nudged her head to Sukuna. But he sneered and left then and there. "Cranky… his mood swings are a lot worst than mine…"

Everyone snickered to that, but Suiryu focused back to the task at hand. "So how's it going?"

Geto explained the situation, he knows he can take curse energy and the power of said curse out of them, but to make them into a divine being…

"Ah, yeah, about that, you need me for it."

"WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO BEFORE!" Naoya yelled as he pried himself out of the tree.

"Baby brain, sorry! My daughters are everything to me. That little bit slipped my mind…" he smirked but then looked to the students. "Wanna see something cool?"

No one moved as he turned to Geto. "Start extracting his power."

Geto nodded as he turned to Naoya, who appeared rather excited for this. Geto did just as they practiced until he hit that wall again. What was when Suiryu came from behind Naoya. His left hand held a glowing odd yellow light, his right… he used to force the curse energy out of Naoya. He was on the brink of being exorcised when he was taken into the yellow light in Suiryu's grasp. Then it condensed down into a ball!

Everyone froze as Suiryu held a yellow orb, pulsing until it became a solid yellow color. "There we go!" Suiryu said proudly. "I saw mom do this once, and I think I understood what she did…"

"What… did you do?" asked Panda.

"Turned Naoya into a divine creature…" but then, his smile grew. "And we are about to relocate him!"

Geto paused oddly as he shuttered a little. "Strange, I felt a chill go through me."

"Naoya's technique, it's going to take some time to adjust, for now. Let's go relocate this asshole… but Maki, come with me!" he said with a devious grin.

Geto was curious enough to go with them!
