The Loud siblings, minus Luan, are discussing something in Lori and Leni's room.
Lisa is demonstrating a cold sleep chamber to the group.
"That's why I propose cryogenically freezing Luan for April Fool's Day. She can't play a prank on us if she's frozen solid."
Lori, Leni, Luna, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Lily are all taken aback by her suggestion. "Oh, come on! She'll maintain her brain function. Well, a little."
Even though it was impractical, J.D. thought it would be cool if Luan was frozen for a while. "It'd be cool if we could freeze her until the year 3000. I once saw that in a silly sitcom cartoon."
Laney pushed Lisa for her idea because she thought it was stupid. "Thank you, Lisa, for your suggestion. We will stay in touch. Anyone else?"
The twins exchanged glances.
"Lana and I have an idea," Lola said.
Lisa was curious about what it was and moved her chamber out of the way, and then the twins set up a standing spot. Lincoln comes in wearing a hazmat suit, and they spin him around on a platform like a model.
Lola begins to describe what Lincoln was wearing. "We call it the Prank-Me-Not Poncho." She tugs on a cord, causing the suit to inflate slightly. "The inflatable lining protects you from all sorts of pranks."
Lincoln is kicked by an automated boot. "Ow!" he exclaimed before being struck by a spring-loaded boxing glove. "Ooh! Ow! I can feel that!"
Lola ignored it because it wasn't an issue. "It's not a problem. All we need is a little more air."
Lola pulls the cord once more, but it snaps, causing the suit and Lincoln to float up to the ceiling.
Lori raised an eyebrow at that but ignored it and continued. "Does anyone have any idea that will actually work? April Fool's Day is this weekend, and I am not losing another eyebrow." She rubs her brow in frustration. "They're starting to grow in course."
"I say we post bad reviews of Fanny's Prank Emporium and force them out of business!" Luna suggested.
Lynn agreed with that plan. "Ooh, that's good. We eliminate her supplier, we eliminate the problem."
Lincoln shook his head no. "We're too late for that. Luan got her prank supplies shipped to an offshore warehouse months ago." When he said that, his sisters stared at him, speechless. "She told me that to scare me. It totally worked," he explained.
"Well, I say we put her back in the restraints," Laney suggested.
"That's not going to work! She escaped the last time!" Lynn pointed out.
"That's because we confined her to a crate. We put her in a straitjacket this time! She can't prank us if she can't move her arms "Laney explained to them.
"Good idea, Laney," Varie agreed, nodding.
"What if she doesn't prank us with her arms?" Lucy inquired, her arms folded and her brow raised.
Laney smiled. "Already thought of that. We'll also confine her to her room until April 2nd."
"Good thinking," J.D. agreed with a nod.
"But what if she gets out of her room and out of the straitjacket?" Lucy questioned, pointing out another flaw.
Laney then devises a new plan. "Then we'll get into the van before she arrives, and... I'm not going to win this argument, am I?" Her siblings shook their heads. No. Laney sighs, defeated.
Lori noticed Leni flipping through a magazine. "Are you even paying attention, Leni?"
Leni looked up from her magazine a little sheepishly. "Oh, I'm sorry. I was just reading an ad for a clown camp, taking place over April Fool's Day weekend." She showed them the ad she was referring to.
"WHAT?!" her siblings yelled angrily.
Lincoln took the magazine from Leni and examined the advertisement. "This is perfect! If we send Luan to this camp, she'll be two states away from us." But then he saw the price and realized it was quite high. "Oh, but it costs $500."
J.D. thought the price was far too high for a summer camp and had doubts about it, but he didn't show it.
The sisters look at each other once the price is mentioned.
In the kitchen, Rita is looking at the ad that the kids gave her to look at. "Well, that is a lot of money, but if it means we don't have to spend April Fool's in these suits, I'd say it's worth it."
It is revealed that she and Lynn Sr. are stuck on the ceiling wearing Prank-Me-Not Ponchos.
Lynn Sr. nodded in agreement. "Agreed. Someone toss me my checkbook."
Later that night, at dinner, Luan is excitedly looking at the camp's pamphlet. "A weekend at Funny Farm's Clown Camp? Oh, this is my dream come true! Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you! But what's the occasion?"
"Why do we need an occasion to spoil our favorite little comedienne, huh?" Lynn Sr. said.
Luan joyfully hugs her dad, but then realizes something. "Oh, wait. It's on April Fool's weekend."
Lynn Sr. suddenly does a spit take on Lisa. "Is it? I, uh-I didn't realize."
Luan shook her head. "I don't know if I can be away from my family on my favorite holiday."
"Ah, but think about all that fresh meat at the camp just waiting to be pranked," Lynn explained.
"That camp is dying to see your comedic genius," Laney said, slightly smirking.
Luan became enlightened to hear that. "Oh, you're right! Well, in that case, I camp wait!" She then laughs at her own joke. "Get it?"
Everyone else is nervously laughing.
Lincoln was feigning amusement. "That is hilarious! Where do you come up with this stuff? Oh, I swear, I'm gonna pee."
Lucy looked at him, unimpressed. "Lincoln, don't oversell it."
The Louds leave in Vanzilla for Funny Farm the next morning, and J.D. and Varie enter the Loud House and sneak into Luna and Luan's room. They began searching the room.
"What exactly are we looking for?" Varie inquired, as she had no idea what they were looking for.
J.D. looked at her and explained, "Something is seriously wrong and suspicious. Luan has something big planned for April Fools' Day, and we need to know what it is."
While looking around the room, J.D. discovered some blueprints in the closet.
"Huh? Blueprints?" J.D. was perplexed about why they were there.
He unrolled the blueprints and placed them on Luan's bed, and Varie went over to see what they were.
"What exactly are these?" Varie asked.
J.D. narrowed his eyes. "Plans for a very low-cost hotel."
He examined them and discovered that the hotel was a pranking death trap.
"The hotel is a death zone rigged with all sorts of lethal pranks," J.D. raged at the prospect of his friends being hurt.
Varie searches through Luan's notebook and discovers a horrifying plan. She let out a gasp. "J.D., you should take a look at this," Varie said, concerned.
He looked over the plans and was astounded by what he saw. "Oh no! We have to get to our friends as soon as possible! Varie, go get Laney's anti-pranking supplies."
"Right!" Varie agreed, because there was no time to waste.
She locates Laney's backpack and hands it over to J.D.
J.D. puts it on and becomes determined. "All right, let's go!"
They extended their wings and flew toward the camp. Meanwhile, Vanzilla arrived at the Funny Farm, where the family dropped off Luan.
"Well, guys, this is it. I'm really gonna miss you, but-" Luan began.
The rest of the family eagerly bid her farewell.
"Wait, wait! I changed my mind!" Luan yelled.
"PUNCH IT, DAD!" Luna screamed in terror, believing Luan was returning with them.
When Luan opened the car door, her siblings screamed in terror.
Luan was holding up a pair of pink shoes. "I want the blue clown shoes, not the pink ones."
Her siblings sighed with relief that she wasn't getting in the car.
Lynn gives her the blue shoes in a hurry. "Here, take them all!"
Leni also gave her her own shoes in a panic. "Take mine, too, just to be safe!"
Vanzilla drives away, with the rest of the family cheering inside. Luan shrugs and enters the camp.
Later that night, Vanzilla suddenly breaks down in the middle of the road.
Lynn Sr. attempted to start the car, but it would not start. "Ah, dang it. Sorry, guys. Looks like Vanzilla just died on us."
Lana knew exactly what she needed to do. "I'm on it, Dad!" She looks under her seat but finds nothing. "Huh, that's weird. I thought I packed my toolbox."
Lynn Sr. waved it off. "It's okay, sweetie. We'll just get a tow in the morning. There's a motel right there."
BUTTZ MOTEL
FREE WI-FI
COLOR TV
AIR COND
The hotel appeared to be in poor condition. Lola scoffs at the state of the motel. "Lola Loud does not stay in two-star motels!"
One of the stars on the signs fell off as soon as she said that.
Rita became smug about that. "Well, there you go. Now it's a one-star, so you're good."
Laney didn't mind how the hotel looked as long as Luan wasn't there. "I don't care if it has 40 stars! So long as I'm not with Luan!"
Lola began pouting. The family is now in one of the rooms, all sleeping except Lana.
Lana was praying. "And please watch over Cliff, Charles, Geo, Walt, Izzy, Hops, Bitey, Fangs, El Diablo-"
Lori awoke grumpily and yelled in annoyance. "Lana!"
"But I haven't gotten to my ant colony yet," Lana complained.
"Good night!" Lori snapped back, wanting to go back to sleep.
Lori returns to sleep, and Lana curls up and falls asleep. Just then, a cricket began to chirp incessantly, jolting Lincoln awake.
"Seriously? Isn't that bothering anyone else?" Lincoln asked, perplexed if it wasn't just him who was annoyed.
Lynn, lying in a hammock, assumed he was talking about her. "Oh, my bad. Those gas station burritos always get me going."
Lincoln's head shook. "No, not that, cricket." He then walked across the room, stepping on his sister's sleeping spots as he goes.
"Ouch!" Lisa yelled.
"Seriously, dude?!" Luna yelled, annoyed.
Lincoln apologized. "I'm sorry. I can't see anything. Let me just turn on a light." He flips the switch, only to have the TV on at full volume.
"LINCOLN!" his sisters and parents yelled as they awoke.
"Sorry," Lincoln quickly apologized as he frantically pulled the knob on the TV, which somehow activated the vibrating setting on his parents' bed.
Lynn Sr. yelled as he was vibrating. "Lincoln!" He stumbled out of bed. "Oh!"
Lincoln was becoming frustrated. "I'm sorry! I can't figure out how anything works in here!" As Lincoln continued to try to turn everything off, the alarm goes off, Lynn turns it off, and the coffee machine began to leak.
Rita chastised him. "Lincoln, stop hitting switches! You're making things worse!" She searches for the plug. "Now, where is the dang plug for this thing?" She then gets hit by a wall light. "Ow!"
Leni stands up. "I'll get some more towels to clean up that coffee!" She runs to the bathroom, gets sprayed by a blast of water, and screams.
"I got it!" Laney rolled her eyes at her sister and walked over to the leak, but she slipped on the coffee and fell. "Ow!"
Everything abruptly stopped, and all the appliances began functioning normally once more.
Lana looked around the room and said, "That should do it. Whoever wired this place had no idea what they were doing." She demonstrated she had properly wired everything.
Lincoln remained skeptical. "I think they knew exactly what they were doing. Look what I found." He held up a synthetic cricket with a familiar logo. "This cricket is a fake! It's from Fanny's Prank Emporium!"
Everyone else gasped when they recognized that name.
"That's where Luan gets all her pranking supplies!" Lori said, shocked.
Lynn gasped in realization. "You don't think she's behind this, do you?"
Laney became nervous right away because she couldn't believe it. "No... No, It can't be."
Rita scoffs at her, not believing Luan did it. "She can't be. She's at camp. I'll call her right now." She dials Luan's number, but it goes straight to voicemail."Hello, family. I hope you're enjoying your stay. Buckle up. There's mo-telling what's gonna happen next." Luan laughs maliciously. "Get it?"
"WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" Laney screamed, causing everyone except Lynn Sr. to scream.
Lincoln wondered why Laney was panicking, since she was normally calm. "Why are you freaking out, Laney? Don't you have your anti-prank equipment?"
Laney shook her head frantically. "No! I left it at home because I thought I wouldn't have to worry about Luan now that she's at camp. But she's not at camp! She's here! Pranking us!" She started shaking Lincoln. "I'm not ready, man!" I'M NOT READY!
When J.D. and Varie arrived at the Buttz Motel, they saw Vanzilla and heard the Louds screaming.
"We've arrived too late. The pranks have already begun," Varie stated solemnly.
J.D. had a feeling that they had arrived just in time. "No, they haven't. I sense that nobody got hit yet. Come on!"
J.D. and Varie smashed through the ceiling of the Loud hotel room.
"Hey guys," J.D. said as he rose to his feet.
Lincoln was relieved to see them. "J.D., Varie? How did you find us?"
"We're saved!" cheered Laney.
J.D. explained how they discovered it. "When we found out what Luan was up to, we set out to save you."
As she spoke, Varie's eyes narrowed. "This entire hotel is a very elaborate ruse. It's part of her biggest April Fools' Day prank."
J.D. picked up where Varie left off. "She has someone on the inside of this entire scheme. She placed a fake ad for a Funny Camp in one of Leni's magazines and set up the entire hotel as a pranking death trap. Isn't that right, Mr. Lynn?" J.D. said the last sentence as he turned to face Lynn Sr.
Everyone turned to look at Lynn Sr., who was sweating profusely.
"I... I don't know what you're talking about," Lynn Sr. said nervously, his eyes darting back and forth.
Varie scoffed at him. "Mr. Lynn, drop the act. We know what Luan had planned for today."
J.D. informed everyone about what they had discovered. "Varie and I went through Luan's belongings and discovered everything she had planned. You were involved in the whole thing. Ms. Rita, read this, and you'll understand." He hands Rita, Luan's notebook to her, and she and the Loud siblings are shocked. And they turn to Lynn Sr. in shock and disbelief, not believing it is true.
"Is this true, honey?" Rita asked, her voice slightly trembling as if she couldn't believe it.
Lynn Sr. started talking frantically. "Okay, I admit it! I've been in on Luan's scheme the whole time. A few weeks ago, she came to me..."
Flashback to Lynn Sr. driving in Vanzilla.
Lynn Sr. casually whistles when he notices Luan in his rear-view mirror with a malicious grin. When he sees her, he screams. "...and said she needed an inside man to pull off her biggest April Fools ever. It was a very sophisticated operation. First, we planted a fake ad in one of Leni's magazines. Then we set up a fake clown camp. Now, that wasn't as easy. Do you have any idea how much it costs to buy land? We faked the van breaking down with a little help from one of Luna's fog machines. And, of course, Luan wasn't gonna miss seeing you all get pranked. The manager? That's her. She's been watching everything on the security cameras." All the events are explained, with Lynn Sr. looking guilty as the operation proceeds. When Luan checks the cameras, she removes her disguise and laughs evilly.
End flashback.
"Dad, how could you sell out your own family like that?" Lincoln asked him in disbelief.
Lynn Sr. retorted back. "Luan promised me a prank-free decade! A DECADE, KIDS!"
"And you believed her?" Laney asked, shaking her head, ashamed of him.
"I hope it was worth it," Lincoln said, feeling betrayed.
"For shame, Mr. Lynn," J.D. shook his head.
As he responded, Lynn Sr. felt guilty. "Oh, it was not worth it. I feel terrible! What kind of father am I? What kind of..." He began sobbing, "...husband?" He then cried out in shame.
Lincoln felt sorry for him and began comforting him. "It's okay, Dad. You're not the bad guy here. Luan is."
Lynn Sr. shook his head, knowing it wasn't right. "No, no, son. I'm just as guilty. I went along with her!"
"That's because she tempted you. But that's okay; you still have a chance to put a stop to all of this," Laney smiled at him.
J.D., Varie, Rita, and the Loud kids agreed with Laney.
Lynn Sr. realized they were correct, and it was time to put a stop to Luan. "You're right. Maybe it's not too late to redeem myself. What do you think of putting Operation: Team Up and Get Back at Luan for Causing Years of Emotional Damage and Also Think of a Shorter Name for This Operation into action?"
J.D. nodded and said he'd help. "I'm in, and how about Operation: April Fools Retribution?"
"That's perfect," Lynn Sr. said, because that was the perfect name for this.
"I'm in, too," Varie said, wanting to help stop Luan.
Lincoln was equally determined to help. "I'm in!"
"Me too!" added Laney.
J.D. smiled at her determination, but he knew she needed her supplies to help.
Laney accepted them gratefully and returned his smile. "My Anti-Prank Supplies. J.D., you're a true friend."
"I'd do anything for my friends," J.D. declared, and he meant it.
Lori spoke up. "I'm in too. I'm going to literally turn Luan into a human pretzel!"
Leni agreed. "I'm totes in!"
Luna narrowed her eyes. "Save seconds for me dudes!"
Lynn raised her fist in anger. "I will pulverize her for this!"
"The spirits will never forgive her for this," Lucy said.
"I'll put raw sewage in her pants!" Lana yelled.
Lola cracked her knuckles. "I'll give her an injury she will never heal from!"
Lisa nodded. "Affirmative!"
"Poo-poo!" Lily yelled.
"Let's get her!" Rita yelled, angry at her daughter.
"It's payback time!" J.D. cracked his knuckles.
Back in the security room, Luan watched as her mother and father, siblings, and best friends joined forces against her.
Luan clenched her fists. "Drat! My family and friends have turned against me."
An explosion blasts a hole in the security room, allowing J.D., Varie, and the rest of Luan's family to enter, all with angry faces.
"It's over, Luan," J.D. glared at her.
Lori glared angrily at Luan. "You've been tormenting us for far too long!"
Varie cracked her knuckles. "Welcome to the corner of pay and back."
Laney uses her plant powers to entangle Luan in vines, and Varie attacks her with a torrent of water that smells like rotten fish.
Lana threw mud globs at Luan, and Lola sprayed her with dandelion perfume.
"Gah! I'm allergic to dandelions!" Luan started to sneeze uncontrollably.
"I had no idea Luan was allergic to dandelions," J.D. said as he watched her sneeze.
Lola simply shrugged. "You figure out some things, J.D."
"Lisa, did you make homemade Dandelion perfume for Lola?" Varie asked her, since she knew stores didn't sell that.
Lisa nodded. "Affirmative."
Suddenly, a drop of glowing blue water from the sprinkler system lands on Lily's head. She glows a neon aqua blue and is engulfed in a pure water tornado. Lily began to change. She grew into a lovely young lady. She wore lavender and black clothes and appeared to be about ten years old. She fell to the ground.
Lily moaned. "Wha? What happened?" She gasped in surprise as she heard herself speak. "I can talk!"
Lily went to a mirror and looked at herself, noticing that she had grown older. "I... I'm a kid like Lincoln. Whoa. I feel weird. Wait."
Lily then raises her hand and shoots a stream of glowing blue water.
Lily gasped in shock. She has powers. "I have water powers like Varie!"
Lily then walked over to everyone and unleashed a powerful stream of high-pressure water.
J.D. gasped in shock, seeing her look older. "Lily? Is that you?"
"It certainly is, J.D. I'm not sure how it happened, but I'm now nearly Lincoln's age," Lily said, perplexed.
"Oh, Lynn. Our youngest is all grown up, " Rita wiped her tears away as she realized her baby was now ten years old.
Varie smiled at her. "Lily, you look stunning."
Laney agreed. "Lily, you've matured into a lovely young lady."
"I'll have to look this up when we get home," J.D. said, puzzled how that happened.
They came to a halt, and Luan was completely drenched, smelling bad, and sneezing.
Laney's eyes narrowed in rage at her. "Perhaps you've finally learned why your pranks hurt, Luan!"
J.D. then notices a calendar on the wall and discovers an unusual surprise. "Wait, a second." He walked over, looked at the calendar, and saw that it was June. "It's not April; it's June. Luan duped us."
Rita's face became irritated, and she turned to face Luan. "When we get home, Luan, you're in big trouble."
J.D., Varie, and the Louds climbed into Vanzilla and drove back home.
When everyone returned home, Lynn Sr., Rita, and Luan's siblings looked at her angrily in the living room. She received a two-month grounding.
Varie discovered that Luan had changed all the calendars in the house to the 2017 calendar 6 months early and was playing everyone for fools.
J.D. looked into how Lily became a ten-year-old and was surprised by what he discovered, which he shared with everyone. "Lily was blessed by the Glowing Water of Coventina, the Celtic Goddess of Water in Irish Mythology. Every 50 years, she bestows her water powers on a deserving soul descended from Ireland. It mostly chooses babies, and as a result, they become 10-year-olds."
"Wow! That's incredible," Lynn Sr. exclaimed in awe.
Lincoln nodded and turned to face Lily. "Yeah. Lily, this must be a huge adjustment for you."
"Yeah. It is. But now that I'm ten, I have a lot to learn," Lily said nervously, because she had no idea what to do.
"We'll help you get through it, Lily," J.D. promised.
Laney agreed with a nod. "Yeah."
Lisa conducted a quick assessment of Lily and informed her of her findings. "You're still 15 months old biologically. I believe that once you reach the age of ten, you will age normally again. But we'll do everything we can to help you."
"I agree," J.D. said, since he would go to any length to help her get through this.
"Thank you guys," Lily said gratefully.
THE END.
