The Loud House - 12:00 PM

In the backyard, J.D., Varie, and the Loud Kids are launching dart blasters at Lynn Sr. and Rita.

"We're going to get you!" J.D. yelled at them.

They were hidden behind a barrier made of bramble vines from Laney's Plant Powers. They were unleashing a hail of rubber darts.

"Oh, you missed me!" said Lynn Sr., sticking out his tongue.

It was on, and J.D. narrowed his eyes. "Lori, Lily, fly above and let them have it."

"Good flanking maneuver," Lily said approvingly.

"Got it," Lori said.

Lori and Lily spread their wings and flew above Lynn Sr. and Rita, firing darts in their direction.

"Wait a minute, that's not fair!" Lynn Sr. grumbled as he dodged the darts.

"Tell it to your mama, Mr. Lynn!" J.D. yelled as he continued to fire darts.

"In war, there are no rules," Varie agreed as she fired darts at them.

Then their games were cut short by the sounds of sobbing and crying.

"Did you hear that?" J.D. inquired.

"It sounds like someone's crying," Varie said, concerned.

Everyone kept an ear out for where it was coming from, and Rita eventually figured it out. "The sound is coming from the front yard."

"Let's go check it out," Lincoln said, concerned that someone might be injured.

They all go to the front yard, where they discover an unusual sight. Woody Woodpecker, the famous cartoon star legend, was crying and sitting on the sidewalk.

J.D. exclaimed with glee, "Woody Woodpecker!? What brought you all the way out here?"

Woody looked up at them, tears in his eyes, and said, "Oh, Hello. My stupid next-door neighbors, Wally Walrus and Ms. Meany, drove me out of my home two months ago."

Lincoln looked at him, surprised, and said, "You were evicted from your own home? Why would they do that?"

"They said I was a total menace to them and..." Woody explained. He then burst into tears. "They teamed up and kicked me out of my house and town!"

"Those dirtbags!" Lola yelled angrily, wanting to pulverize those two.

"We constantly watch your show, and they threw you out like garbage? That is completely unacceptable!" Lana screamed angrily.

"I've known you and your show for years, Woody, and the way they treated you is completely barbaric," J.D. said, disgusted.

"I agree," Varie said, unhappy with how Woody was treated.

J.D. wanted to help him in any way he could. "We're going to help you. If it's okay with everyone, you can live here right now.

"That's fine with us," Lynn Sr. said, since Woody had nowhere else to go.

"You're welcome to live here, Woody," Rita said.

"We never introduced ourselves, by the way. My name is James Knudson, but you can call me J.D," J.D. said as he introduced himself.

"I'm Varie. J.D.'s fiancé," she said.

"The marriage won't be official until we reach our mid-20s," J.D. explained.

"My name is Lynn Loud Sr., and this is my lovely wife Rita," Lynn Sr. said, wrapping his arm around his wife.

"Hello," Rita said, waving at him.

Lynn Sr. motioned behind him. "These are all our wonderful and lovely children."

Lori was the first of the kids to introduce themselves.

"My name is Lori, and I'm the oldest. I'm seventeen years old, and I enjoy texting on my phone."

"My name is Leni. I'm sixteen years old, and I enjoy fashion."

"My name is Luna. I'm fifteen years old. It's an honor to meet you, dude. I'm the rock star."

"My name is Luan. I'm fourteen years old. I'm the family prankster."

"My name is Lynn Jr. But you can call me Lynn. I'm thirteen years old, and the Sports Master."

"My name is Lincoln. I'm 11 years old, and the only son in the family."

"My name is Lucy. I'm eight years old, and I enjoy the darkness."

"My name is Laney. I'm seven years old, and the artist."

"My name is Lana. I'm six years old, and serve as the handyman."

"My name is Lola. I'm six years old, and the reigning Beauty Pageant Queen."

"We're twins," Lola and Lana said simultaneously.

"My name is Lisa. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm four years old, and I'm the Scientist."

"And my name is Lily Loud. I'm 15 months old biologically, but because of unforeseen circumstances, I appear to be 10 years old."

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you all. Thank you for taking me in." Woody expressed his gratitude after they introduced themselves.

"No problem," J.D. replied, as they were happy to help.

They got to work and created a lovely treehouse in the front yard. It was a replica of Woody's old house, where he used to live. But with a bunch of new features. Lana has completed the installation of all internal and external plumbing. "There you go, Woody. The plumbing is finished. But take it easy on her at first. No heavy meals. The kitchen sink and dishwasher are both in working order."

Woody was blown away. "Lana, thank you. You're quite the handyman."

"Thank you, Woody," Lana said, blushing slightly at the compliment.

J.D. had a thought. "How about we call Wally and Meanie and rub it in their faces?"

"Count me in," Woody said, wanting to see how they reacted after kicking him out.

J.D. set up his laptop in the living room and made a video call to Wally.

At Wally Walrus's house in Indianapolis, Indiana, he heard the telephone ring and picked it up.

"Hello?" Wally responded with a Swedish accent.

But he noticed a video call coming in. "Oh, it's a video call. I've never had one of these before."

When he answered, J.D., Varie, and the Loud Kids appeared on the screen.

J.D. spoke, "Hello, Wally Walrus. I've heard quite a bit about you."

Wally was surprised to see who had called him. "Well, J.D. Knudson. I've heard a lot about you. You won the multi-billion dollar jackpot in the Colorado Lottery, didn't you?"

"It's nice to know that word of our wealth has spread across the country. But we didn't call to tell you that I'm richer than you. It's not my style, Wally." J.D. shook his head at him.

"So, why did you call me?" Wally was curious.

J.D. didn't waste any time getting to the point. "It's about a former woodpecker neighbor of yours who used to live next door to you and Ms. Meanie."

Ms. Meanie entered the room with Wally when she heard the name woodpecker.

"WOODPECKER!? We kicked him out, and we don't want him back!" Wally screamed angrily.

Ms. Meanie completely agreed with him. "We're glad he's gone, and we never want him back in our lives!"

"Try telling that to his face," J.D. said as Woody entered and took a seat between Lana and Lola.

Woody greeted them. "Hello Wally and Meanie. I now have a new place to live and new friends."

Woody lets out his signature laugh.

J.D., Varie, and the Loud Kids do an eyelid-pull taunt at Wally and Meanie.

"WOODPECKER!" they screamed angrily.

"We'll find you and pulverize you!" Ms. Meany yelled as she got closer to the screen.

"Good luck with that, you clods! You want to get to him. You've got to get through us first!" J.D. yelled back at them, and they won't touch Woody with him around.

"And that won't be easy," Varie agreed, her eyes narrowing at them.

J.D., Varie, The Loud Kids, and Woody all blew raspberries at them, and the call ended.

"What a dope," J.D. scoffed.

Woody wholeheartedly agreed. "You said it, and I have a feeling this is the start of a wonderful friendship with all of you."

"You said it," J.D. agreed.

They all did Woody's signature laugh.

THE END.
